Well, since the WJHC is U20, I'd be down for another U18 IHT, I just don't know when though. It was fun though because it enhanced the RP portion of the sports event. This was the age when people are vying for the prospects to play in their league so, yeah.

Hopefully not too soon as I'd have to hurry again to finish my domestic league ^^ and will WJHC come before it again?

A bit of selfish self advertising here, but if any of you guys are interested in a more character-driven hockey RP: check her out.

A lot of effort went into this, so feedback is encouraged! :)

Hey guys, this is Quebec on his vote-collector account.

So with the Federation Presidency for terms 27-29, here is an update. I gave enough time for nominations, perhaps way too much as in a month and half. This was so people wouldn't feel stressed out ahead of a WCoH vote due to a WC and so on.

With that being said, here it is:

Royal Kingdom of Quebec - 2 I won't be back running for a third term, therefore nullifying the candidacy.
Valanora - 3
Elejamie - 3

So we got 2 nominees for the Federation president. Now here are your options for the votes, for those in the WCoH Federation:

1- Valanora
2- Elejamie
3- Reopen the Nomination Process
4- Abstain

Please vote to Nuevo Caracas. The deadline will be at 15th of April, in 18:30 EST.

Seems like a very interesting event to me. Already signed up, woo :D

Now, looking back, maybe we could alternate U18 and U20, or perhaps have WJHC before and U18 IHT after. This is especially considering that we have lot more nations in hockey who are not as active in WC circuit as those in others, so maybe it might be a good idea after all :)

Quick and possibly stupid question: Even though I'm a nominee (for whatever reason), am I still allowed to vote? Just thought I should ask so I don't end up sending a TG to cast my vote only to find out that it won't be valid.

Sounds interesting, mate. I might send a guy over, depending on whether or not I can think of enough information about him.

I know, it's just trying to come up with a character and just fleshing them out. I'll probably end up sending one of my WJHC8 guys... once I can think of which one to send and how to flesh them out.

Alright, Quebec here. This is my last post as WCoH Federation President after two wonderful terms. Thank you all and hope you had a great time with me being your Federation president for last 6 cycles, dating all the way to its inception!

With that being said, here is your voting results for the Federation Presidency:

Valanora : 5
Elejamie : 4
Re-open Bidding : 1
Abstain: 0

Congratulations to both Valanora and Elejamie for being elected the President and Vice-President of the World Cup of Hockey Federation, effective from World Cup of Hockey 30 to 32. I wish both of you great luck!

I'm opening signups for a club hockey tournament, with open bidding. I don't know how much interest this will get, but it might be fun to do.

Given that the BoF and WC will be starting shortly, it seems regardless of when signups are opened there is going to be inevitable overlap. That being said, when does everyone want the signups put up and is anyone considering a hosting bid so that we can hopefully get this underway and avoid too large of an overlap?

This Weekend should work. I assume WJHC will start next weekend or little bit after so maybe giving people like a week to get their host bids in and another week of host voting + further signups + opening the signups would make it around 2 weeks of signup.

With World Juniors it'll happen around next weekend, so that should be no problem for you.

WCoH signups is more or so on ESF's discretion, however, now that she is the Federation President. The problem with starting WCoH signups next week would be that'd make the WCoH conflicting with BoF and at worst case scenario, WCQ, which would affect the tournament's RP-ability.

Posting this here so as not to clutter the signup thread. SRF, you shouldn't sign up puppets if you don't plan to rp with them as it takes a potential spot from someone who will. And if you do sign up with Celter too, you need to confirm that In The signup thread with that nation.

Is there any reason for the WJHC and the WCoH to be starting so close to one another, or just coincidence? Not complaining, just wondering. Looking forward to the 30th!
