I'm RPing it as a last-second field goal heartbreaker.

I love upsets in fact last edition was full of 'em including me dishing them out. I was excited about it and was jumping around in my room each time I pulled off big wins. So entertain me

Have fun guys, I'm interested in seeing who wins this time around since I won't be RPing.

If you're leaving because of something involving other people on NS, I can tell you from experience that you're making a mistake in doing so.
You'll definitely be missed around here and I hope you do decide to come back at some point.

It's other people but it's me too and I already explained it partially on the Esportiva RMB. I don't want to go into it further because like I said, I have a reputation to protect, but this isn't just something I'm doing on an impulse even though it looks that way. If I do come back, it will probably be four or five World Bowls later when I'm unranked and I most likely won't ever come back to the World Cup once this cycle is over.

Abaja RP'ed, but Nassau-Hessen hasn't even posted a roster. Ultimately, it's Ethane's decision as host, but maybe just give this one more round of thought, please.

In MD 10, we won against gregory 10-14. Doesn't that mean we should have a +33 point difference? Also, Nassau lost to Islana Lunigo 3-29. That's a 26 point difference. 48-26=22. Nassau should be 5-3 and with a +22 point difference. We should be 5-3 with a +33 point difference

Allamunnic States wrote:The other thing in all of this is that, as far as I can tell, the World Bowl standard (although as far as I can tell, it has never been codified; it's not in the constitution) is to have games with overtime, with IFAF rules (or colloquially, college overtime).
I remember there was a broad consensus on the type of overtime because we had a big debate about it somewhere in the teens about whether or not the World Bowl should have a standard overtime style or not after someone used the NFL-style sudden death (not the new kind, either, the kind where a field goal on the first drive could win), and there were some people who were miffed about it.
On a more RP-related note, I feel like this would be a good time to ask, is there some amount of consensus on how often the World Bowl happens, IC'ly?
