It is time once again after a long five year wait for the best of the Taeshani Auto Racing Circuit to take on the best teams in the world. When they first met up with their international foes are drivers were unable to take advantage of their speed and brains to defeat the drivers of the world. Now they have a chance to once again make their impact on the world with a 31 race season in which they will face of with 42 other drivers who have the heart of speed. Going into this year they mmay only be heroes to few, but if any of them can break through and show the world how good they really are, then maybe they can prooved to be the heroes of many. The Orange Lake Speedway will host the penultimate races of both the first leg of the seasonand the second leg. Te first a Road Course and the second Short Track, this may give the Taeshites a chance to proove themselves.

Wearing the Purple and Gold firesuits and driving the ever present Purple, Gold and Green cars will be league champion Number 14 A.J. Henderson, Car number 34 will be driven by the ageless racer Colby Andretti, and young hotshot Ambrose Douglas will drive the 22 in hopes to finally get a chance at a fulltime ride. Max winehold will be the Taeshani backup originally intending to drive, but was officially resigned to backup duty by team owner Ricky Zellefrow before the start of the series. The sponsors of the three cars will be Andretti Motorsports, Colo Coca, the Taeshan Hockey League, Mike's Barand Grill, Home Depo, Mikes Weed Killer, and Jack Joe Bimbos Ice Cream Parlor. On the hood of the 14 will be Henderson's buddies of the Taeshan Soccer Federations National team as he is sponsored by the federation. Each of the first half races(and 1 in the second half) will show a picture off one of the National Team Players in their home jerseys.(his car will be mainly Gold). On the hood of the 22 will be a change from the original plans as with winehold out his sponsor the Kosovoe Mountain Breweries will move to the 22 leaving Tae-Mart as a secondary sponsor and only being full on a few second half races. finally the 34 will be wearing the ever present colors of Fadron Pizza. We hope all drivers good luck going into the season, and Go Knights.

EAST PENTHORIA, Secristan (AP) The trio of drivers Ed Lorenzo, Philip Johnson and Byron King, of Team Sibirsky arrived today in East Penthoria, Secristan for Thursday's Penthoria Electronics 400. The short 5/8 mile track has lap record of only 16.33 seconds. Byron King boldly proclaimed that he would set a new lap record as Ed and Philip laughed. "The car is running well, I feel confident, barring some kind of accident, I should be in the top 5, and I think I will actually win and set a new lap record." King said. Crew chief George McGee was clearly upset with the young and inexperienced Byron King. Today and Tuesday will be practice days, followed by Wednesday's qualifying trials. We wish all drivers luck, and a safe race.

THE ROCKET REPORT- FINALLY RACING!

East Penthoria, Secristan- The haulers have made it to Secristan for the season opening Penthoria Electronics 400 at the short track just across the Penthoria River. The crews are making last minute adjustments to their cars prior to qualifying. Yes, the wonderful sound of stock car engines operating at full song will again be heard across the world as the NSSCRA gets set to begin. This is latest attempt to get a true interregional stock car racing season going, and its headquarters will be based in Pocono City. Empress Jessica is playing a big role in its support, and here’s to hoping it is a success.

In all, there are sixteen countries that will participate. Some are well known to us, others are new, and there’s one that makes you say holy cow it’s them! (Jeffgordonville). The world probably doesn’t realize that Newmanistan and Jeffgordonville go way, way back as participants in a former racing rivals in a regional series for a region that no longer exists. Erica Phillips raced for Newmanistan there, and Calvin Emberton raced for Jeffgordonville. After all these years, they will share the same track again, and again driving #12 and #27. If memory serves me correctly, there hasn’t been any incidents between the two. Old-school Newmanistanian race fans will be set for that battle, but much of our population will be looking at the full field and wondering which of these drivers has what it takes to be a true world champion. As experienced as they may be internationally, neither Phillips nor Emberton can truly say that they have taken on the world before. There will be 45 drivers, which is a little more then the customary field of 43, but not enough to make a difference. A couple tracks may have to make a modification or two to their pit roads to add two more pit stalls, but we are sure they will be ok.

Phillips is just one of the three drivers that will be representing Newmanistan in NSSCRA. The others are rookies at any kind of international level, but should have promising careers ahead of them. Mike Carroll, an aggressive short track specialist will be driving the #16 car, and he is definitely excited about his chances on being the first winner of the series. Also there is Chris Miller, driving the #39. He is a well-rounded driver known for great qualifying runs. As we look at the rest of the field there are many other individual stories that these drivers must have to tell. To be representing their country, they have all surely had great careers in their homeland and have experienced success more often then not. Now, we put them all on the same track. Who will rise up? After 31 races, we’ll find out! For now, get your engines revved for the Penthoria Electronics 400 as we await the first ever winner in the series

Portland raring to go for Grand Island Racing

East Penthoria, SECRISTAN— Fresh off a World Grand Prix Championship season in which he finished seventh in the drivers' championship, Matthew Portland has swapped his open-wheeled InfoInternet Liventia Racing grand prix car for a drive in a stock car as he prepares to begin his NationStates Stock Car Racing Association (NSSCRA) career.

Portland, 25, won the Grand Prix of Ad’ihan during the World Grand Prix Championship 7 season, and, at a press conference to introduce him and teammate Ryan Wilkins to the world's media, said he was looking forward to returning to the Circuit d'Ad’ihan when the NSSCRA goes there for its 29th race of the season.

"There's absolutely no doubt in my mind that I can do as well in a stock car as I did in the World Grand Prix Championship last season," he said, in response to a question from a reporter comparing the two categories. "It doesn't matter whether this is an Ad’ihani team or a Liventian team, it's motorsport and regardless of who you're driving for each day you want to go out there and win the race.

"For sure I can't wait for when we go to the road course at the Circuit d'Ad’ihan. As you know, I won there in the World Grand Prix Championship so it does hold special memories for me and I'm very comfortable around that circuit. That said of course my focus isn't going to be solely on that, but definitely I feel I have the edge when it comes to road courses.

"The main difference between stock car racing and Grand Prix racing is of course, aside from the cars, the distances. We do 305 kilometres (190 miles) in a Grand Prix but in the NSSCRA we're looking at over double that distance sometimes, so it will definitely be a challenge."

With the World Grand Prix Championship organisers set to begin entry acceptance to the eighth season soon, Portland was asked if he'd race in the WGPC while the NSSCRA season was still ongoing.

"It's something I've given thought to. I definitely want to improve on my seventh position in the points from last season but of course I'll want to be driving in the NSSCRA too. I've spoken to my people and my teams and both teams are very understanding about the situation I'm in. I will probably split time between both, driving some NSSCRA races and most of the WGPC. It's something we'll have to work out, but I'm hopeful I can give my fullest to both."

Portland's teammate, 19-year-old Ryan Wilkins from City of Ad’ihan, is the grandson of former WGPC legend and two-time drivers' champion Troy Wilkins. This will be his first ever season in major international motorsport, but Wilkins, who grew up in Orean, Liventia before moving to Ad’ihan at 15, says he's ready.

"I've grown up racing a mix of ovals and street tracks so I know what to expect, how to deal with situations. If I had to choose a weak part of my racing it would have to be qualifying. I'm more content to settle for that upper-half qualifying slot and work my way through the grid for some points."

Grand Island Racing also introduced its backup driver, Johnny Webb, who is expected to deputise for Portland if there happens to be a clash on the calendar between the two series.

(OOC: Johnny Webb will take on Portland's same stats to be fair. It's likely he'll have to deputise for Portland in the second half of the calendar quite a bit as I intend to begin WGPC8 signups this weekend and will likely start that sometime in early to mid July.)

Danielle’s Blog

Soon we will be racing at Rutland Speedway for the Preppy Gals 400 and I know that preparations are already underway for Cassadaigua’s hosting of the second race of the NSSCRA season. For now, we are in Secristan, East Penthoria Speedway to be exact, for the season opening Penthoria Electronics. It’s an honor to be representing the country and I’m sure that anyone who follows auto racing at home doesn’t need to be told who I am. I’ve been told by other Cassadagan bloggers that you can get a lot of overseas hits to your website, so I should introduce myself properly. I am Danielle Pearson, and I hail from western Cassadaigua. I have driven car #48 my entire career, and have won three national championships with it. My crew chief, Chandra Knight gets a lot of justified attention for the work that she does to the car. Of course it’s not just her, with have a tremendous race team that gets the job done every week. My teammates in the NSSCRA series will be Ashley Clarke, driving her traditional #24, and is someone that I personally get along with very well. She really gets a lot of credit for supporting me early in my career when I was looking to find my way. Ashley has won four national championships during her national career, although has had some tough luck in the point standings in recent years. Then we have Kirsten Hopkins, driving the #5. Kirsten is only 20 years of age and is a very aggressive driver. I guess she needs to be more consistent to win a championship, but I think that will come in time. A few drivers in our national series think she is a little, or very, cocky, although me and her haven’t had any incidents between us. Being teammates of them will be interesting. One thing that I bet every nation that is participating right now is taking for granted is the willingness for their national team drivers to be working together. Because it is they who have been our biggest rivals our whole career. It is they who we will need to share information here for team Cassadaigua, but at the same time, not want to give too much information that they can turn around and use against us back home. It’s really a fine line that you have to walk.

I feel that I have a good setup for East Penthoria. We’ve run well in practice so far and think we can post a good qualifying time tomorrow. Qualifying at a short track like this is very important because if you starting at the back of the pack, you are going to be in greater danger of getting in a wreck that you may have had nothing to do with as far as how it got started. Then if you’re really in the back, it’s not gonna be long before the leaders are in your rear view mirror ready to put you a lap down. You also have to remember that none of us really know these other drivers yet. Back at home when I am racing with another driver I know about how he or she likes to race, if they prefer the high groove or the low groove, what kind of aggressiveness they have, and how much give and take they will give you out there on the race track. I only know this about Kirsten and Ashley, and while we’re trying to collect information about the other drivers much like scouts in a team sport want to find out about their next opponent, it’s more difficult, because there are 44 separate opponents out there. Eventually, we’ll get his figured out and we’ll all start to get drivers that agitate us or ones that we feel can be our allies out there on the track or at least someone we can trust to race side by side with into a tight turn and be confident that they aren’t gonna do something stupid and spin you out. It’s gonna be exciting, and I am very ready. Everyone wants to be the first winner of this series. I think it can be us.

Auto racing in Vephrall: a primer

When most people think of sports in Vephrall, they think of football, either the association ("soccer") variety or the other kind, what we and the Sarzonians call "gridball". Auto racing? Not so much. And really, to be honest, most people in Vephrall don't know all that much about auto racing either. But it does exist.

The tracks

Meice Motor Speedway
Located in the outermost suburbs of Meice, they call it the fastest race track in Vephrall. The lap record for the 1.54-mile circuit is a little over 28 seconds, which works out to nearly 200 miles per hour. Until about a decade ago, it was a regular oval which saw lower speeds than the modern configuration. The MMS stands were damaged a few years ago by severe storms, but were quickly rebuilt. This track will play host to the Topaz Tools 500, the sixth race in the 31-race series.

V-Cola Raceway
A few decades ago, there was a very popular race that took place on the city streets of Misedos. The 2.89-mile street circuit was, however, extremely dangerous. In the 1749 Misedos street race, one car spun out of control going into turn 5 and crashed through the barrier that blocked the street circuit off from the rest of the city, ultimately causing a twelve-car pileup that killed four people. The city council immediately put an end to the annual street race as a result. The race organizers pooled their money and managed to acquire a large tract of land elsewhere in the city, on which they decided to build a near-exact replica of the old street circuit. The biggest change: an engineer from Bektys Technological Institute (which was, incidentally, located very near the original street circuit) involved in the planning of the new circuit discreetly modified the track's measurements to increase its length to π miles. V-Cola Raceway will be the site of the 91-lap Perimeter Security 285, the 22nd race of the season.

The drivers

#9 - Kibad Hahnea
Age: 26
Sex: Female
Hometown: Dostey, Riestre
Aggressiveness: Average
Qualifying ability: Above average
Road course ability: Okay
Short track ability: Superb
Speedway ability: Superb
If you are reading this article outside Vephrall, it's a pretty good bet that you have never previously heard of a female Vephraller involved in...well, anything, and certainly not in sports. This, of course, means immediately that 50 percent of the nation will be cheering for the girl driving the #9 car.

#26 - Thwante Handbosm
Age: 22
Sex: Male
Hometown: Meice, Bektys
Aggressiveness: Below average
Qualifying ability: Superb
Road course ability: Poor
Short track ability: Excellent
Speedway ability: Fantastic
If anyone in Vephrall was a born racer, it was Thwante Handbosm. Especially considering he grew up less than a mile from Meice Motor Speedway. Handbosm is the youngest of Vephrall's drivers in this competition.

#92 - Baspaalt Cagenil
Age: 38
Sex: Male
Hometown: Swextreas, Seibeng
Aggressiveness: Very low
Qualifying ability: Above average
Road course ability: Superb
Short track ability: Excellent
Speedway ability: Average
Experienced, conservative, and the token road course specialist. That pretty much sums this guy up.

What's next
The Penthoria Electronics 400 at Secristan's East Penthoria Speedway is our racers' first destination. The opener is on a short track, which is good news for the Vephrese drivers, who all tend to do very well at such courses.

Each driver looks ahead in two sentences:
Kibad Hahnea: "I try not to get too caught up in the idea of carrying the hopes of all Vephrese women. I'm just here to race."
Thwante Handbosm: "People call me a natural, a born racer. I laugh and remind everyone that I haven't proven anything yet."
Baspaalt Cagenil: "I like to think I've been around long enough to know what I'm doing. But that also means I'm not naive enough to think that everyone around the world drives just like a Vephraller."

City Brand City, GUVNROIA-Roamin Gary, the champion of Guvnroia's GASCAR (Guvnroia associated stock car racing) is moving on to bigger and better things. In an interveiw with the Guvnroian Times Brand Times, he stated that "I won the race. That's all there is to it. Now I go on." Placeing second was the fiery and Agressive Guy Delmagio. He was none to happy about being relegated to second place, seeming to forget that he only lost by less then a second. "Hey man, that stupid Roamin "The Paladin" only won because I got tired. That was so not fair making the last race of the GASCAR Uranium Cup a road race. You know that Roaimin is better then me at road coures. And what are you doing in my house at three in the morning? Oh. Victory party. Right." The last qualifyer was Bandon Corp Uranium. Mr.Uranium was not available for comment, but Bandon Corp Uranium was able to tell us that "Our asset will spread the publicity of our great corperation. Who knows, we may be offered trade. We are also pleased that one of the second half races is to be held at our course in the Cougar Forest." The people of City Brand City are also excited to be participating in this years international tournameant. City Brand City is the biggest center for GASCAR racing in Guvnroia, and the atmosphere there is one of great excitemeant. Many people are talking about the posibility of winning this years tournament.

Uiri set to watch its three best stock car drivers make left turns!

SECRISTAN - It is set to begin, the first track on the first season of NASCRA! The Uiric Stock Car Auto Racing Association (USCARA) is sending its champion drivers, Fernando Romao, Pedro Vaches and Fransisco Ozinho to represent our nation during this season of international drivers. There is serious pressure on these drivers to perform well because while making left turns may not be easy in Uiric Rush Hour Traffic, they sure do make it look easy when a track with mostly left turns is laid out for them. The first race to take place in Uiri, the Andor 300, shall be jam packed full of people wanting to see over 400 left turns being made by each driver - with the average being 420 due to pace car laps. Will Uiri be successful? Only time and left turns will tell.

OOC: I apologize if anyone finds this offensive. It was not intended to be offensive.

SECRISTAN TO OPEN SEASON

The Secristan Department of Sports could not have had it any better. Already excited about the opportunity to profit from the NationStates Stock Car Racing Association, the SDOS was handed the season-opening event, to be held in East Penthoria for the Penthoria Electronics 400. People from all across the world, or at least sixteen countries, are excited about the opening of the series and the first race in which it will hold. Naturally, everyone wants a piece of it, to be a part of the action and to be there live. This is a level of international demand in which the SDOS has not seen, not even when they hosted World Bowl 6 a while ago. Then, it was only two countries but now there are sixteen all hoping that they can have the first winner. Seats are limited and therefore the bidding for seats has led to some unheard of numbers, with the SDOS reporting an average bid price per seat of 285 Rusas, with luxury boxes averaging over 1000 rusas per. It will give us an upper class crowd, no doubt. Katie Simpson, our SDOS rep as you can expect, is absolutely thrilled in her comment to us, “The rusa signs in our heads definitely went off when we saw our race being the first one on the schedule. NSSCRA is unlike the other sports, because the fans of all nations involved will be in one venue at the same time. This will make demand for tickets be high all across the series, but even more for us since we are the first official event. It’s really fantastic!” Simpson’s excitement is contained somewhat as she tells us that Secristani drivers will need to have success in order for the series to have long term profitability, “We have good drivers representing us, they are the best in the country and we chose them on merit as opposed to making them bid in order to drive for the team. In this series, success on the track will be imperative for financial success off the track over the long haul, so this was truly the best option for us.”

The Secristan Department of Sports will also be sponsoring the #11 machine driven by Chris Sullivan, who is a short track force and as long as he qualifies somewhat decently as that has always been his Achilles heel, he has a very good shot at winning on his home track. “I have an advantage, obviously,” he tells, “none of these other drivers have never raced here, other then my countrymates. We know the characteristics of the track better then anyone. Everyone will have this advantage when they race at their home track, especially for the first NSSCRA race. I have won here many times, and see no reason why I can’t again. We will try to qualify well, but I started 39th here and won before.” Also a short track king is the driver of the #17, Matthew Schaefer, although he also qualifies poorly. His car is sponsored by the Law Office of Browne, Greene, and Whyte, and he also thinks he can get a season-opening win, “As Chris said, having experience here already helps. I love racing here and have won here before. Chris and I will put the incident of two years ago behind us for this race.” Two years ago, of course, is when Chris Sullivan spun out Michael Schaefer in turn 4 and coming to the checkered flag as the two of them were racing for the win. Schaefer was sent directly into the wall. After the race, and before Sullivan could take a victory lap or do a burnout, the normally calm and collected Schaefer slammed his car into Sullivan’s, causing Chris to get out and the two to engage in a shoving match. They claim they have made up in the meantime. Also driving for us is Eric Murphy in the #15 Loophole Life Insurance car. He is not as known for his short track ability, but he is known for being a real mean and aggressive driver and has his own history here, mostly involving wrecks. “It hasn’t been my best track nor is it a favorite of mine. It will be a fun race though and it helps that I have raced here before.”

Enjoy the race and your stay in Secristan. Hopefully things aren’t too expensive for you.

DELACLAVA STAR

Connolly qualifies well; Abbott runs into disaster

In the qualifier for the first race of the season, Jeff Connolly took third place, earning himself good position for the race in Secristan. Meanwhile, Tony Abbott had trouble with the turns and blew a tire at the very end of his second lap, leaving him in second-to-last, holding on to his mediocre first lap.

Marco Perez qualified 25th, a good start for him considering how much lower in skill he is compared to Connolly and Abbott.

RESULTS
1 - Thwante Handbosm, Vephrall - 16.417
2 - Fransisco Ozinho, Uiri - 16.422
3 - Jeff Connolly, DELACLAVA - 16.438

ALSO
25 - Marco Perez, DELACLAVA - 16.614
44 - Tony Abbott, DELACLAVA - 17.205

The three Knight drivers had a great day yesterday qualifying for the first Nationstates Stock Car Racing Season 1 Race. Young Ambrose Douglas scored a top ten starting spot qualifying tenth, Colby Andretti cemented his spot on the team with a 16th spot, and team star A.J. Henderson will start 21st out of the 45 cars. Overall this was a good day for the team all qualifying in about the same place meaning they will be able to work together throughout the day. It should be a good race tommorrow and hopefully you will be able to see it on TSPN RACE. Anyways it will be a fun rae to watch.

Fransisco Ozinho qualifies 2nd in Penthoria Electronics 400

SECRISTAN - Today, Fransisco Ozinho qualified 2nd in the Penthoria Electronics 400, only 0.005 seconds behind the driver (Thwante Handbosm of Vephrall) qualifying second. It was argued that he in fact passed the line at 16.415, placing him 0.002 seconds ahead of Mr. Handbosm however, NASSCRA officials maintained that the times were accurate. Fernando Romao qualified 0.137 seconds behind Ozinho, and was 0.142 seconds behind Thwante Handbosm. Pedro Vaches was in turn 0.053 seconds behind Romao. With the worst Uiric time being more than 3/5 of a second ahead of the last place driver (Fred Hallock of Bluth Corporation) it is expected that all three of the Uiric drivers entered will place in the top half of the racers - a remarkable feat for any nation entered in the Series.

Qualifying at East Penthoria was pretty much the textbook definition of a mixed bag for Team Vephrall.

22-year-old Thwante Handbosm seemed rather shocked when he discovered that he would in fact be on the pole for the Penthoria Electronics 400 after his time of 16.417 seconds (137.053 mph). "I felt pretty good out there," he commented, "but I never expected I'd end up the fastest out of everyone. Let's just hope I can do that well in the actual race."

Meanwhile, there was disappointment for Kibad Hahnea, who will begin the race back in Row 20. When asked whether she thought this would provide ammunition for the many Vephrallers who feel that women have no place in professional sports, her response was, "Hogwash. No, it wasn't the greatest run, but if I don't belong here, what about the six drivers who were slower than I was? Or the two women qualifying in the top ten, for that matter," referring to Kristen Hopkins and Danielle Pearson, both representing Cassadaigua.

Undoubtedly, though, both drivers will still feel that they have something to prove in tomorrow's race.

QUALIFYING DISAPPOINTS

What happened to home-track advantage? It was believed that Secristani drivers would have an advantage over their international opponents for this race as they are familiar with this race track and the others are not. We got a lesson in the world class nature of this series as the non-Secristani drivers seemed to handle the track with little problem, obviously benefiting from their practice sessions. The top qualifier for Secristan was Chris Sullivan, who will start on the outside of row 9. “It’s a good spot, I haven’t always qualified well here. We’ll be fast on race day,” said Sullivan. His performance was fine, but the other two drivers sharing row 19 simply was not expected. Eric Murphy rolls off 37th and Matthew Schaefer starts from the 38th position. “I’m not a short track specialist, but I was hoping for better. This is a little discouraging, but I think we can make the right adjustments to get into the top 20, at least.” Murphy told us. As for Schaefer, he was pretty annoyed, “We have to qualify better. I have never been a great qualifier, but to start this far back on a track in which we should have had a good set up for is disheartening. It makes me quite concerned about what the future might bring. This doesn’t cut it.” Thwante Handbosm of Vephrall won the pole, barely edging Fransisco Ozinho of Uiri for the coveted spot.

EAST PENTHORIA, Secristan (BPA) -- It was an auspicious international debut for Woods Motorsport in qualifying for the Penthorian Electronics 400 stock car race. Danielle’s Blog

We didn’t win the pole, but as a nation we hard the best qualifying effort of anyone, placing all three of our cars in the top twelve positions. On a short track such as the East Penthoria Speedway, qualifying is really important because if you are at the back you can go a lap down early. My crew chief, Chandra Knight, assured me that we have a good race set-up under the hood as well and that our caps will be good for the full length of the race and just not qualifying. Of the three drivers representing Cassadaigua, I was the middle qualifer, and I will start in row 5 and be looking at the bumper of fellow Dagan Kirsten Hopkins, who starts on the inside of row 4. We are going to try and use this to our advantage and keep our cars down low early in the race. Ashley Clarke begins on the outside of row 6, and if she can somehow get down with us early, it would be an even better thing. This will only matter for the first few laps, but is one the better ways that teammates can work together on a short track. Typically on these tracks, everyone wants to be down on the bottom. The pole went to Thwante Handbosm of Vephrall. What’s interesting is that no knows what’s gonna happen in this race. Usually in a race like this you have ten or so drivers who are the top contenders maybe another ten that could off a win, then you have the mid-pack cars, and then the back of the people, and usually each group are the same people in each race. Right now no one knows who will emerge as the top contenders for the championship. On an individual level, all 45 of us are used to success in our home country but right now it is a big unknown how it will translate into this international series. We all hope we can carry over our domestic success, and at the end of the day we’ll have a better idea of what we may expect. I’m excited!

JIM Newsletter

Well, we're back in international racing once again. This time, competing in the NationStates Stock Car Racing Association. Calvin Emberton will be the team's leader, the stock car legend looking to bring his skill on to the world stage. Kyle Onasi will take up the 2nd driver spot, with the wily veteran looking to end his illustrious career in a big fashion. And the comeback kid, Jason Antilles, hoping to continue his recent form.

The first race of the season was held in Secristan. Qualifying for the Penthoria Electronics 400 did not go as planned, with Kyle Onasi qualifying in the back, and Calvin Emberton midfield. Even Jason Antilles' incredible qualifying prowess that led him to 74 pole positions in the JSCC only got him to 14th.

The race did not fare much better. Jason Antilles dropped out early with an engine failure on lap 66. Calvin Emberton, despite his disappointing qualifying, performed very well and set the race's fastest lap on lap 127. However, this did not last, as whilst running in a respectible 7th place on lap 312, Emberton crashed into Guvnoria's Roamin Gary, sending Gary out of the race and Emberton 11 laps down as the #27 crew frantically fixed his car in an attempt to gain some extra points. After the race, Emberton slammed the Guvnorian as 'recklessly defending his position', and being 'a safety hazard'. There has been no response to Emberton as of yet. Kyle Onasi was the only cause for celebration in the team, as from a dismal 32nd place qualifying effort, he managed to salvage a respectable 18th-place finish, staying on the lead lap for the entire race.

As the next race in Cassadaigua approaches, the man in charge of JIM's NSSCRA effort, Geoff Carrick, says, "We are confident that our somewhat lacking results in Secristan will be a small anomaly, and look forward to the next race. I feel that our car will be much more suited to the track, and now that our drivers are acquainted with the series, we should be able to show the world what Jeffgordonville's racing heritage really means."
