CONSTRUCTION OF NATIONAL STADIUM COMPLETE
The Walmazia National Stadium is complete and open for business to any footballing nation. President George Thompson said in his ribbon-cutting speech, "I hope the good people of Walmazia will embrace soccer and -- fingers crossed -- win the World Cup within the next few cycles."
Walmazia FA Chairman Peter Drury declined to comment on President Thompson's remarks, but he has made it clear that the FA is looking to book a high-profile opponent for the Lions in their first international match.
