When's the next WC?

I'd guess it'd start sometime in June, possibly early July. Might actually RP for it for once.

When we elect a host and that host decides to hold it. At the moment, we're waiting on host bids. Most likely, it'll start sometime in early June, barring another lengthy delay of the sort that delayed WCs 69 and 70 (and their respective BoFs).

As a more peaceful alternative, this nation will be hosting an International Scouting Jamboree during the first half of qualifiers and any nations with suitable organisations are invited to send small groups along to this event.
They don't necessarily have to be actual 'Scouts' as such, just youth movements that include suitable 'outdoors' activities in their programmes, that aren't tied to a specific church (although individual groups within the movement can have religious affiliations) or a specific political party, and that aren't used as reserves or a cadet-training system for their nation's armed forces...
The Babbage Islands has already expressed interest in participating, and hopefully will be willing & able to scorinate a few sporting contests between attending groups -- as they did last time around (during WC 56, or thereabouts) -- too.

So that's now two quals in a row without posting a roster? And I actually made it out of the group stage? And then took out a host? Man, I'm a terrible person. I don't know what I did to deserve Margaret's favor like this. I promise I'll actually at least post a roster for these guys next time, and I'll probably just be dropping Karditan from the WC all together so I can focus what little time I have for NS these days on the nation that's already running away on its own.

I was just searching the forum's archives and found this post. Must have been back in at least May 2015. So long ago! Is The Jeckish Union is still active? It'd be cool to see what he's up to after all these years.

Anyway, I'm back everyone. Did you miss me?

I haven't been active since World Cup 71 but I'm still up for RPing!

Nice to see a few old faces like Kaboomlandia and Madesu are still around.
