Update: So I will be rescorinating the last two matches of MD 7 with the correct teams. That should fix the final problem in Group 8.

Gregoryisgodistan wrote:I would like to hear from Felix why all these errors are happening in Group 8, seeing as he's about to take over the other 19 groups. To me, it seems the most likely possibility is that he accidentally rescorinated a matchday and had to do everything manually, though even then I don't see why he couldn't just scorinate it the normal way and just do the table manually. As long as it's some error that isn't likely to effect the other groups, I don't think we need to be too concerned, but I'm concerned that it will carry over, so I think some explanation is in order to make sure that won't happen.

Well this is highly embarrassing.

I've been doing everything manually ever since I messed up somewhere in the scorinating in one of the first two matchdays and I've been doing putting the matches myself. A mix of RL stress and tiredness resulting from the unusually heavy weekdays I've been having probably made me mess up the matches for certain matchdays and for that I am really, really sorry to everyone in Group 8. I plan to have a restful weekend and none of the mistakes made in Group 8 will transfer to my half of scorinating for the rest of the WCQ.

I will consult with my co-host and figure out what we are going to do with MD 7. MD 6 was done correctly whereas in MD 7 I mixed up the 6th and 7th teams.

Again, I can't say how sorry I am for messing this up big time and no amount of excuses will fix that. I promise the second half of WCQs will go much more smoother than first half. I will post an update on what my associate and I have decided to do with the MD 7 issue for Group 8.

Fair enough. This doesn't seem like something that should affect the rest of qualifying, so I'm not concerned. Thanks for clearing that up.

I'm about to do a fun RP about this but there are now 9 teams in Group 15 and Group 11 as well. It looks like Sarrbia and Royal Kingdom of Quebec had different names entered for one MD which the scorinator decided meant that it was a new team. So each of the two teams have 7 matches played and the other imaginary nation has one MD played.

Yes, I noticed that as well. Sarrbia was spelled incorrectly as "Sarriba" on MD1. After a telegram request, the host promptly corrected the spelling for MD2. Which the transfer of scoring duties, it looks like that correction caused a hitch in the tables.

I don't see 9 teams in Group 11 I see 9 in 15 and 19.

Either way, I'll get this problem fixed don't you worry.

There will be a play-off over two legs.
One thing I wondered, will the draw for the play-offs be guided?

As one can read in the RP thread, the Buyanese Football Board has let go of Reinhard Shale.
I'ld like to thank Nephara for allowing my nation to toy around with this great character for two cycles!

This means that the position of Buyanese national manager is open - unless Teriouris does magic. He probably won't. What I'm looking for is an RP'd manager (not a novel, just that he 'existed' before you TGed me), that he dislikes a diamond 4-4-2, preferably a former footballer who saw his career ended on an injury (to not break a streak). Someone with extremely attacking or defensive tactics is an option - but not a necessity. A defined character is a plus. TG me for takers, many thanks in advance!

What is it with everybody blaming my puppet Garifunya for being a team of divers (no, the football kind, not a team of scuba divers that decided to play football)? First Audio, now Cosumar.

Whatever. I guess

Its also heavily implied that Ronda Styrn, a player with a long history of disciplinary issues, is an unreliable narrator with regards to her accusations.

Subtext: she definitely kicked the guy.

you're totally a bunch of divers anyway

Not really sure where to post this, but I wanted to post it somewhere. There is apparently a little-used NS Sports reddit at http://www.reddit.com/r/nssport/. If you've ever wanted to discuss NS Sports matters in an OOC way that doesn't fit in a specific discussion thread, but can't because this isn't an OOC forum, this might be a good place to take it. One discussion up there right now is about whether you'd rather lose all three games in the World Cup or win the Cup of Harmony. I've seen people try to make OOC posts like that here, and they get taken down because they don't belong here, but if anyone wants to post them somewhere, that might be an appropriate place. If it ever grows into something real, perhaps a link can be added to it in the stickies in the same place it mentions the IRC channel.
