Damn. We tried to save Flardania but we couldn't.

And a 4-0 loss makes it even worse XD

For an unranked nation, you made things very interesting for us in Group 20. I really enjoyed your RPs as well.

Thanks for being a fun nation to be in a group with. Best of luck in the future - I hope you do stay a while!

12 points, not bad for a first run. Could have done much worse. We pulled a few big draws... At least. And beat our intercontinental rival.

Since the play-offs are apparently upon us...

*peeks at the results*

Seriously? That shite actually got me a play-off place? My commiserations to Schiavonia; I would much rather he had gone through than myself.

EDIT: On a serious note, my hope was to come nowhere close to qualifying, but of course Margaret loves to throw wrenches into everything.

Would be great to know what will be the decision around The Sword Bloke, because affects one of the invited teams to the Cup of Harmony 67. And for me, will be more fair to advance Bonesea in this case.

Is there an Off Day tomorrow before the playoff? If so, TSB may CTE before it starts, depending on the exact timing of his last login. In that case, however, it may make sense to postpone for another day or two to give Bonesea time to RP.

According to the NationStates API, The Sword Bloke’s last login was at 2016-05-28 04:38:24 UTC. The last nations to CTE in Esportiva did so at 16:09:17 UTC, so it’s likely that The Sword Bloke would CTE at about that time on Saturday (and just avoid CTEing at the preceding major update, which starts at 04:00 UTC).

It is with great sadness that the great Hikaru Kyosuke is announcing his resignation to the dismay of the nation. Hikaru insist that he can not stay following so many dropped points. For the first time since pre baptism of fire 58, the KFA is in search of a new manager. Applications are open to foreigners. Please TG any inquiries. Please be prepared to provide photo, style/tactic, and why they feel that they are the one to bring the Kitsunes to the next step.

If (hence the if) The Sword Bloke gets excluded - will Bonesea take his exact spot in the play-off draw or will he get ranked according to his points obtained? Makes the difference for me between facing a non-RPed pot five nation (80% chance) and a well-RPed pot four (fifty-fifty game).

Was hoping you both got the top two spots tbh. Would have been a real kick in the 'nads if I'd stolen one of them. Good luck!

Just a friendly reminder to tread lightly around British people for the next couple of days. Some of us woke up to a very bleak looking future. Seventy million of us, to be precise, even if less than half of us are aware.

I foolishly did the playoff draw before checking this thread. That draw has been taken down. We'll wait a day or two.

Unfortunate, the UK made a mistake.

But I'm happy I qualified some how. 5 attempts later and were finally in a WC.

I posted the message below at the Esportiva RMB but feel it could be out here as well.

I probably miss the rationale behind it all and be my guest to point me to the opposite, but isn't it a bit strange that we stall the biggest tournament of them all just to wait for a nation to CTE? It seems normal to me that the PO draw (and it was clearly intended to, considering the Audioslavia post) is conducted at the finishing time of the group stage, a time at which TSB was still active.

For all clarity, of course Bonesea would deserve a chance to make the WC a lot more based upon this cycle and I'ld love to read more of him but it seems a bit strange. This is not intended as a sneer to the hosts, but rather as a question for information. By example, is there any precedent on this?

Tldr; why exactly?
