I would add "distinct from the giving nation" to iii to allow for an NS equivalent of Germany splitting and reunifying. Saintland is currently undergoing such a split, and if it reunified in the future, it would make sense for Saintland to take back West Saintland's rank as Germany did with West Germany.

This is a good point. I think it might be easier simply to remove the 'has ever had' part of section iii. Anyone trying to operate outwith the spirit of the law would be caught by section ii. I've also removed the 'many' typo from the second sentence.

A nation may not receive another nation's KPB points if:
iii) The receiving nation already has a KPB rank.
iv) The receiving nation is controlled by a different user.

With regards to GVH's question - I've never been fully clear on what the haven is. Is it a single country, or is it like the EU IC-ly? If the latter, a unified team wouldn't make sense IC-ly, and with nations within controlled by different users, probably wouldn't be allowed OOC-ly either.

Also, I thought only FFR was joining the Haven IC-Ly and they no longer have a rank since Falatulu got it. So if I'm right about that, it's a moot point anyway.

Ah, but we have precedent to go on.

Krytenia became West Starblaydia during the latter stages of World Cup 40. A Krytenia team (composed of exiled and ex-pat rebels) competed in WC41 with a KPB of 0, with W-Star having the former Krytenia's KPBs. The West Starblaydi regime ended during WC41's group phase, and for WC42 the nation competed, once again, as Krytenia, with full KPB points.


On a less happy note, some on this forum may know my mother has not been well of late (seriously, f**k cancer). She's taken a turn for the worse in the last week or so; as such, my activity here is likely to be somewhere between "Kelly Sporadic" and "Rejistania, nil". Apologies to anyone waiting for JMC kits, and Starblaydia (re Liga Calania).

As the currently mooted amendment to the constitution hasn't quite been finalized (we'll need three people to 'second' one specific version of the amendment) there will be no vote on that just yet. Midway through qualifying (ie the CoH vote) will be the next available opportunity to vote on that.
