Basically, get your RPs in before 10pm British time to avoid being disappointed.

Matchday one should be cut-off nearer 23.00 UTC tomorrow (Thursday).

Mine are likely to be around 22.00-00.00.

The info was a couple of pages back. Today is the traditional mid-qualifying rest-day. Scorination should start again on Friday unless something foul befalls Krytie.

Hi guys,

The signups for the next World Cup should take place around the middle of July, perhaps as late as August. Keep checking back to the forums around then and you should see the thread.

You can find plenty of information in the first post of this thread. Feel free to ask here if there's anything confusing you.

See you soon!

July? That's quite a while, will there be any football before then? Also, how do you guys create football scores, is it in excel or something?

Just to confirm, cutoff is in approximately 23 hours.

Happily, I do not have a thirteen hour day at work tomorrow.

If you were to join a sporting region (Esportiva, Rushmore, Atlantica Oceania) then there will be a football tournament after the World Cup, plus there are other football tournaments that do take place after the World Cup.

There are plenty of other sports to join in on as well, so keep an eye out for the signups for those towards the end of the World Cup qualifying, and the World Cup proper.

There's also the Summer Olympics (formally the "Games of the XI Olympiad" because this will be the 11th annual edition), which I just opened signups for yesterday.

My apologies if the question is answered already elsewhere or if I've missed it in the bid thread.

Sorry, I thought I'd mentioned this in the RP thread but I can't even find it myself.

Teams will be seeded according to their performance in qualifying. Top seed plays 20th seed, 2nd seed plays 19th seed etc. In the event that two teams are completely equal, KPB rankings will be used to separate them. The playoffs take place over two legs. The higher seeded team will play the second leg at home. Away goals count double.

(highlight by me) - I assume you mean the normal away goal rule, right? And not away goals counting double by default? I'm 90% sure I understand you correctly, I just wanna make sure xD (and it maybe should be clarified anyway to avoid confusion for anyone not too familiar with the rule...)

Yes, it's the normal away goals rule. It's just that, when I was seven years old and first asked my dad what the away goals rule was, during a European Cup match (yes, I'm old), he said 'away goals count double if it's a draw', so that's the way it works in my head.

Yeah, the explanation is very common and also not wrong (it was how it was explained to me too), I was just slightly irritated because I wasn't really thinking and read it as "all away goals count double", which is obv idiotic ^^ but then I immediately noticed you mean away goal rule. Still, better to ask than to get it wrong ;)
