After two seasons of narrowly missing out on the Tropicorp Cup, then, last season, being agonizingly eliminated on Penalty Kicks at the Qualification Round, Nusira Lionta came out of the gates flying and never looked back, easily topping the Tropicorp Lower League Table. Irottea, the other loser from the Tropicorp Cup Season 8 Qualification Round also signalled their intention to make amends for their defeat the previous season by finishing a close second.

Unlike previous seasons, there was very little late drama in the table as the Top 6 teams were, for the most part, the Top 6 for the bulk of the season. Lpaka Indy were the cindarella story of the first half, hanging pace with the leaders until about Matchday 10 when they fell back into the mid-table zone - still an improvement on their relegation threatened projections.

A late season charge by Sokattack Mliona came up short as the Turorian side finished with the third best goal differential in the competition but landed 6th in the final table and will have to try to establish their position again next season. Two Turorian teams were relegated with Kionao Koastal once again suffering the drop to become the most relegated team in Tropicorp Lower League history, being relegated for the third time. Inura Forests completed their fall from grace with a 29th place finish in the standings. Defeat on the final matchday so Crosaibi Locals drop out of the Tropicorp Cup places but there will still be interest in Crosaibi as the Locals were replaced by their rivals the Crosaibi Rovers in 4th place.

Like the top of the table, there was little drama at the bottom. Sissil Bank and Seraai Tiaca - one of the smallest clubs to ever compete in the Tropicorp Lower League, struggled to put points on the board. While Seraai Tiaca did record a few consolation victories near the end of the season, they were nothing more than a parting gift and memories of the time they competed in the Tropicorp Lower League.

In the Qualification Round, Irottea denied Terrarokka United the opportunity to become the first side to contest two Tropicorp Cup finals, defeating the Tropicorp Cup 3 Runners-Up 4-2 on penalty kicks after the match ended 1-1, joining Nusira Lionta in the final.

Up to this point, everything had gone to form with the top two teams in the season making it to the Tropicorp Cup Final. Irottea was not about to let the season finish on form, however, opening up a quick lead and never relenting. With Nusira Lionta already thinking ahead to the next season in the Declasse, Irottea took charge to claim their first Tropicorp Cup.

Tropicorp Cup Qualification Round Note: Winners promoted to Vilitan League (Declasse Division)
Nusira Lionta 2–1 Crosaibi Rovers
Irottea 1–1 Terrarokka United (1–1 AET) (4–2 pen.)

Vilita (VIL) final site bid

Globe Cup 62: Lonngeylin Coliseum, Lonngeylin, Vilita (115,500 Seated) - 141,000 Standing Room

Image
Home of the Vilitan Stellar Division champions, Jungle Strike FC, Lonngeylin Coliseum is the biggest sporting arena in the Vilitan Cove and was chosen exactly for this purpose. Not so much 'butts in seats' - because almost one-third of the estimated attendees would be standing on the Vilitan hillside, but the capacity to hold large volumes was just one of the perks to holding the match in Lonngeylin.

One of the oldest yet most expansive stadiums in Vilita, the stadium has undergone several renovations, name changes and expansions in its long history, which included being a knockout venue for the World Cup 17 and 31 finals. Most notably, the seated sections of the Coliseum went through a complete overhaul between League Seasons 25-35 where sections were closed incrementally for upgrades. The Coliseum is known for its unique hillside accommodation which enhances one of the most impressive match atmospheres in the region.

Most famously, however, the Lonngeylin Coliseum was the venue for the World Cup 59 final that pitted The Babbage Islands against Aguazul. It was an epic championship final with the two sides fighting to a goalless draw after extra time before Aguazul triumphed in the shootout for their historic third consecutive World Cup title. The facilities at the Lonngeylin Coliseum had been upgraded over the year to handle the over-capacity crowd and extended match timeline. The venue was also selected for the Vilitan half of the "Battle of Turori" - when Vilita & Turori were drawn against each other during World Cup 64 Qualifying.

Typically, only the Jungle Strike FC or Vilita National Team 'home' fans are allowed in the south and east areas, which include both hillside seating and open hillside that can accommodate an approximately 30,000 additional fans beyond the seated capacity - depending on how far away from the stadium they wish to prop themselves. Away fans are always seated in the west grandstand. The hosting of a neutral tournament event at the arena will allow visiting fans to experience 'home' accommodations for the first time.

The Lonngeylin Coliseum is a former UICA host site, having previously successfully hosted the 47th UICA Champions Cup Final, though, in full transparency, has been failed to be selected as host venue far more times than this.

Turori (TUR) final site bids

Series B Champions Cup 62: Eels Park, Eelandii (capacity 68,000)

The Eels Park arena in "Eelandii" - A purpose-created hybrid city located between the capital of Almintora and the center of sport in Cednia, was opened for the World Cup 63 Finals hosted in Turori as well as Aguazul. The Arena has since hosted matches during the 26th Di Bradini Cup and due to its moderate size is one of the most atmospheric venues in all of Turori. Turorian National Team matches not being held in Cednia have also been held at Eels Park instead of Almintora National Stadium.

Already the new center for sport in Turori, the purpose built village of Eelandii also features a Grand Prix racing course home to Vilita & Turori Motorsports Research & Development department, an Ice Hockey arena that also serves as a multi-purpose venue as well as an Eagle's Club facility. Eelandii would be a fitting host for the UICA Champions Cup final given the modern infrastructure and high density of sporting amenities in the region.

Located equidistantly between the cities of Almintora and Cednia - the two largest cities in the Island Emirate, round the clock public transportation can take guests from Eelandii to either city center. For those dedicated to the sports theme they can stay locally in Eelandii. Clubs participating in the Champions Cup final will be allowed to train ahead of the event at the Turori National Training facility located in the village of Eelandii.

TGOD FASleague Season I

Somewhere in northern Esportiva, there is an island ruled by the fans of Club Deportivo Futbolistas Asociados Santanecos in Santa Ana, San Jose Guayabal (similar to Alianza Albos in middle of some ocean, Rushmore). With the population of around 80,000 people, it has a vibrant community of football fans and promising prospects ready to have fun after a day / night of fishing, farming or whatever they might do for living (aside from schooling, which the kids have to do for few years). The first fully organised season of FASleague have come and gone now, so let's take a look at how the things have gone for the first time (before the 41-team league gets broken into 3 leagues)...

Royal Kingdom of Quebec (QUE) final site bid
Globe Cup: The Samseongoloondongjang, Montreal (Capacity: 87,880)

While Quebec City may be the most historic, Montreal is the largest and probably the most dynamic city of Quebec. With the population of 12 million in the Greater Montreal Area, the city is the centre of Quebec's economy, culture, commerce, finance, industry, transportation and sports. Drawing international influences and population, the city boasts the likes of world-class medical institutions, business quarters, aeronautics and pharmaceutical industries, and a cluster of additional industries based on intellectual property and creativity, making it the number 1 Quebecois metropolis.

The Samseongoloondongjang, located in the heart of Koreana district just 15 minutes subway ride from Downtown Montreal, is probably the crown jewel of Quebecois football. Long the home of Montreal Koreana, whose days led by legends Alexander Newman and Ji Choon Kim have led to its decades of dominance in 1950s and 1960s, as well as 1991-2013 period, it is now remembered by the many as the House of all Montreal football. With this in mind, it's of no surprise that it got selected as 1st of 3 venues for Quebecois national football team this World Cup Qualifying Rounds not too long ago. It has hosted the 73rd World Cup final, 64th Cup of Harmony Final, as well as third-placer match for the AOCAF 47 and the aforementioned LigAnaian side. It may be the oldest of all Quebecois stadiums still standing, having built in 1909, but it has constantly renovated and cared for to make it one of the most advanced and historic at the same time. Expect the fan experience to be at a level perhaps cannot be reached by others in Quebec.

Élite League
Season 2270–71

The phrase of the season was “insufficient organization”. Usually that’s something that the PSC would fine clubs for, but in this case it was the PSC itself that was found guilty on several occasions. Problems were evident from the very first matchday, when it was expected that a new Élite League brand identity was to be unveiled, but the new designs failed to materialize and last season’s signage and match balls, with clear signs of wear, were excavated from storage. Qidade Savana’s opening-day win over San Solari FC saw a farcical scene in which the referee’s vanishing spray seemed to have vanished; he waved his can furiously over the 9.15 m line for a free kick but nothing emerged. Although officials were quick to blame the unexpected move of the Olympic Games to Aeropag for the shocking number of incidents throughout the season, conspiracy theorists insist that this explanation is inadequate and that the PSC must also be working on some sort of secret project.

The Euran Football Association’s Euraleague
Recap on Season 29

It was plausible to think that Ulsa wouldn’t dominate Season 29 like they did Season 28, especially after the mindboggling league wide spending spree of last summer. You would be wrong to do so in the end though, because Ulsa totally dominated Season 29 as well, winning the title by a clear fifteen points with their dominant backline. In a season marked by other strikers failing to get beyond the early 20’s of the goal tally, Kris Campbell put the ball where it counts 31 times to snap up the Golden Boot, Forward of the Season and Player of the Season. The inspired signing of promising young defender John Leach and the sensational performances of Frank Ainsworth and Nemanja Petrovic handed them the Defender of the Season and Goalkeeper of the Season respectively, while the team only conceded 34 goals as well as being top scorers. They were only denied a clean sweep by the midfielder category, where Nephara international Rook Branagh was the surprise choice for the big gong. However it was their post-season achievement that established this as one of the best seasons in a Euran clubs history. After some awful UICA performances by the other Euran teams, bar Directus and Old Boys Club reaching the later stages of the Globe Cup (the former beating Yuba United on the way) and the SBCC, Ulsa won the Globe Cup final against Sunrisian side Matthew Rangers. They are now the only club to have won the Globe Cup three times, and the result catapulted Eura to the top of the UICA rankings for the first time.

Elsewhere in the league Directus and Bastion were the only teams to mount a serious challenge – though the former will be feeling nervous after £39m Pedrinho failed to match Campbell. That challenge had fallen away within the last couple of months, while Spartangrad rounded off the Champions Cup places. Revolutionaries were a let-down despite the signing of Sebastian Nunez, but they did win the National Cup against Usmer, and saw off close challenges for 5th from Holdenberg and Brigham. The latter must surely be worried now about holding on to Huele, Oscar Coltrane and Dominik Mauer. Lajuno might have had the Midfielder of the Season but they failed to penetrate the UICA places, while Falourr fell slightly short despite establishing themselves as an increasingly solid unit. Holdenberg City beat expectations again at the expense of an underwhelming Farrenton Athletic, while Blackfields pulled off another excellent season to make 12th. However they were much too reliant on the 17 goals of Sunrisian hotshot Allejo. Unioneers and Dartmoor overachieved while Oakstone and Workers Union under achieved, narrowly avoiding relegation, as AFC Mayville, EFS and Thagarnia got the chop.

Key transfers, retirements and a Gold League preview ahead of Season 30

Notable Transfers

To be completed

In light of recent events, international transfers to and from Eura have been minimal.

Nicolas Moran (22, LM, Valladares) – Patriotas FC (Valladares) to Spartangrad for £16.5m
Armando Elevado (33, CDM, Farfadillis) - Spartangrad to Avendia Principal (Farfadillis) for £5m

Spartangrad have signalled their intent for Season 30 by finally solving their left side problem, where Lewis Hughes has had to deputise much of the time along with Elias Shaw. It’s another big money signing from Valladares, a nation whose top players are currently swarming into Euraleague. This powerful left midfielder has the ability to both surge forward and work defensively with James Fowey in equal measure. Heading out is Farfadillis stalwart Armando Elevado, finally getting his international recognition once again in a late career purple patch, but also deciding to finish his career in his home nation.

Philippe-Michel Schneiderlin (23, CM, Quebec) – Montreal Koreana (Quebec) to Falourr for £8m

Falourr are seeking to gain some cutting edge and iron will to move up the table. It’s been suggested that what they really need is a cutting edge striker but instead they have opted for some midfield steel. Schneiderlin is the first major Quebecois player to move to Eura and he will hope to make a good impression.

Jim Stokes (24, CAM, Eura) – Unioneers to Deportivo Junin (Valladares)

What a rise Jim Stokes has enjoyed. The midfielder was playing in non-league only a few years ago, and has now won a big money move away from Unioneers to Deportivo Junin, the underdog winners of the last Sameban title. He will hope that this opportunity to display his attacking verve and set piece ability on an international stage will win him a call up to the Eura side.

The Dell (76,000), New Southampton

In order to properly celebrate Kernansquillec's return to UICA football following a ban due to safety concerns, the Kernansquillecan Football Association, in partnership with New Southampton FC, who failed to qualify for this season's UICA tournaments, have lauched a bid to host the Champions' Cup final at the Dell in New Southampton.

Home to New Southampton and located in the southern part of the biggest city of Big Island, the stadium is linked to the center of town by road and public transportation with a metro line expected within the next 5 years. It usually takes about 15 minutes to reach the stadium from the city center.

The stadium has an a capacity of 76 000. 8 000 of those are standing with a section of up to 3 000 seats being reserved for away fans, though this number can be modified depending on matches. All seats are colored red.

New Southampton's home ground was originally built in 2012, however just a fraction of the original stadium remains. Two stands and nearby facilities were destroyed during the Great War, while in interior of the stadium was refurbished when the club turned professional.

Youth champions’ path
The draw for the Youth Cup youth champions’ path will take place alongside the group stage draw. Clubs marked with asterisks have qualified for an earlier stage of the Champions’ Cup, and will be transferred to the Champions’ Cup path if they advance to the Champions’ Cup group stage.

Because fewer than sixteen clubs will enter the youth champions’ path, the youth champions from the highest-ranked associations—including at least Chorion Bluffs Knights (COM)—will advance directly to the play-off round.

Vilitan League
:: Season 51 ::

SEASON SUMMARY

Image

Image Jungle Strike FC - v. - Turoki Tide Image
Tivali Ring Stadium, Alikki-Corra, Vilita

The Tropical Trophy is a seasonal competition between the Vilitan Stellar Division Champions and Vilitan Cup Champions. There has been some controversy as to whether it is a "Season Ending" event or a "Season beginning" event, though it has tended to be closer to the start of the new season, then the end of the previous one.

For this seasons Tropical Trophy, The V-League Stellar Division and Vilitan Cup Champions (Jungle Strike FC) faced off against the defending Vilitan Cup Champions (Turoki Tide). It was the second time that the Tropical Trophy was contested between the two sides.

Vilitan/Turorian Dual National referee Nuliko Meteorik officiated the Tropical Trophy for the twelfth consecutive season.

:: The Match

For the 10th consecutive season, a team from Turoki City was represented in the Tropical Trophy. However, for just the third time in those nine seasons, that team was the Turoki Tide.

For Jungle Strike FC, playing a team from Turoki for the Tropical Trophy was nothing new - in fact it was becoming a bit of an annual occurance. This season was a bit of a transition for the Venom, however, following the retirement of long-time Farfavenom Friekder Dandalleion. The Dandylion who had already closed the book on his international career went out in style claiming the Stellar Division and Vilitan Cup with Strike FC.

Now, there was a bit of a youth movement at the Venom. Linvoi Warazil of Vilita, Meldi'ita Mungwaii of Turori and Raimondo Montanari of Osarius all under 21 years of age in the lineup for the Jungle Cats against the Turoki Tide led by their own Vilitan youngster, Polaox Torerun and backstopped by the Quebecois Golden Glove winner Ondrej Cech.

Opposite Cech, a bit of a goalkeeping controversy as the Venom still haven't found that true #1 ever since the retirement of Kajaxo Imaslavii. Experienced Schiavone netminder Viliaka O'Connor and Vilitan/Audioslavian youngster Nikki Tzimas were expected to share responsibility again during Season 51 and it was Tzimas who got the call for the Tropical Trophy.

While the Venom were using the match to test a brand new look side against formidible opposition, the goal for the Tide was much simpler: Win. After claiming the Stellar Division title in Season 49, the Turoki Tide had been pipped by Strike during Season 50 and were looking to claim silverware once again and prove that their Season 49 title - the clubs first in 15 seasons - was no fluke.

The Tide were certainly better in the first half creating more chances and earning more corner kicks on the whole but every chance the Tide created was thwarted either by the Turorian defensive duo of Tarek Edgeli and Geafi Laina-Sola, or, by the bullish blood of Nikki Tzimas.

Jungle Strike FC introduced another youngster for the second half, Audioslavian prospect Guillaume Abbracciabene. With a last name too long for the back of his shirt - which said "Guillaume" instead - still quite long but in the end all the i's and ll's saved space in comparison to the b's and c's in his last name - Abbracciabene was not as highly regarded of a prospect as some of those in the starting 11 but it was made clear the Audioslavian would be given his chance to impress.

Fortunately for his own stock, but certainly not for his team, Guillaume had no fault to bear in the matches lone goal which came in the 52nd minute after Polaox Torerun provided a cross into the area that was only half-cleared, collected at the top of the box by Cavuna Aquafek who quickly fired a high, hard shot that Tzimas could do nothing about.

That goal would settle the match as the Turoki Tide claimed just their second ever Tropical Trophy title and ensured that the Season 50 runner's up had already checked the 'Collect Silverware' box off on their Season 51 whiteboard.

Statwise:
:: This is Turoki Tide's 4th Tropical Trophy Victory in their 7th appearance
:: This is Jungle Strike FC's 15th Tropical Trophy Defeat in their 33rd appearance
:: This is the 4 Tropical Trophy contested between Jungle Strike FC (2) and the Turoki Tide (2)
:: This is the 13th Tropical Trophy that has ended in a 1-0 scoreline.

Tropical Trophy Host Site:

Tivali Ring Stadium - Alikki-Corra, Vilita (87,000 Capacity)
The Football Association of Vilita is based at the Tivali-Ring Stadium in the capital city of Alikki-Corra, Vilita and many National Team training sessions take place on the grounds of the Tivali Ring. The Football Association regularly schedule matches at arenas throughout Vilita, especially bigger matches as many of the stadiums that host Stellar Division and UICA competition matches have expanded far beyond the capacity of the National Stadium at Tivali Ring, which is used only for the National Team, and, for the Vilitan Cup Final and Tropical Trophy matchup. In addition to its World Cup matches, 'The Ring' hosted the 40th UICA Series 'B' Champions Cup Final. The stadium was constructed as part of the Vilitan bid to host the World Cup 14 Cup of Harmony as a replacement to the former National Stadium in Lopinka that was destroyed during a regional conflict.

THROUGH MID-SEASON:

With all the pomp and circumstance of the Golden Anniversary 50th season behind them, the teams of the Stellar Division were focused on business as usual as the 51st season kicked off. That is, business as almost usual. There was one club noticably absent from the Stellar Diviision fixture list: Makosile. Founding members of the Stellar Division, Makosile suffered an unexpected relegation during the Vilitan League's 50th season and were relegated to the Declasse for just the third time in the clubs history. Each previous time the Makos were relegated they bounced straight back the season after - but never by winning the Declasse title, having finished runner-up in both of their 'rebound' seasons. The Makos departure opened the door for Lonngeylin City to return for yet another attempt at establishing themselves as a cross-town rival for Jungle Strike FC, though their own ground-share rivals Lonngeylin Coast seem to have firmly cemented themselves in the role.

While Jungle Strike FC were the reigning Stellar Division champions, there was some question about their ability to repeat. They lost a major Locker Room presence in the experienced Farfadillian attacking midfeidler Friekder Dandaellion who retired from the playing squad and took some time off to 'experience the world'. Additionally, experienced Vilita National Team player Lopaki Kilpter decided somewhat shockingly to leave the club, though he specifically stated he was not retiring. Kilpter reportedly wanted to move closer to some relatives in Turori to spend more time with them. Shortly after the announcement, Kilpter revealed that he would be reviving a small unaffiliated club in the outskirts as Almintora that would go by the name 'Almintora City' as a nod to a previous local side in Almintora that once contested in the Vilitan Cup pod stages. Kilpter hoped that he would be able to keep his skills sharp playing matches with Almintora City without the pressure and schedule required of a Vilitan League side, as well as begin to hone some of his tactical knowledge in a role as Player/Coach.

Strike were only able to bring in one big name to replace the departed - that being Alikki-Corra forward Kaivel Illatara who was happy to make the short switch over to the Lonngeylin Club in order to return to top-flight competition.

By the mid-season break, however, it was clear that the inexperience in Strike's starting 11 was too much for Illatara to overcome all on his own as the Venom sat in 7th place - just as close to the relegation zone as they were to the Turoki Tide who happily supplanted Strike at the top of the table losing just one of their opening 13 matches.

While the Venom had drawn 5 of their opening 13 matches to keep them languishing in mid-table, they did contest one of the more exciting Stellar Division clashes of the modern era. The Venom traded blows with Cednia Beach AFC at the Cednia Beach Center on Matchday 13, opening up to a 2-0 lead through Viela Lianksa and Linvoi Warazil before the Coconuts caught up through Kryhata Calanndi and Va'a-Rio Kiwavyn. Eventually it was Valanora's Hera Teltholsyr netting the winner after the hour mark - Strike's 4th goal of the match before Lianksa added a fifth and the Venom claimed the 5-3 victory in a clash of Vilita and Turori's best.

Rivalry Roundup ::
Turoki Tilt: The real storyline on Matchday seven was the return of Sharif Deniibo. The former Turori National Team goalkeeper who was developed at the Turoki Academy and spent the first 3 seasons of his professional career at the Turoki Tide had signed with the Tide's ground-share rivals at the start of Season 51 and was making his first appearance against his former club. It was a perfect result for Deniibo and the Silvers who pitched a shutout - though it was much to the heroic defensive performance by Star-of-the-Match Jukka Lindroos as much as anything else as Turoki United recorded a memorable 1-0 win over the table-topping Turoki Tide, the Tide's only defeat in the first half of the season.

Cednia Clash: While Season 50 saw a record 4 Turorian teams in the top flight, Just 3 remained after the relegation of the Kionao Locals. Two of the three were Cednia based clubs, however, so for the second straight season, the rivalry was extended. Having just re-signed Turori National Team prospect goalkeeper Wiayauw An'maude to an extended contract, optimism was high in Cedniavella. Unfortunately, Cednia Beach was a team clicking on all cylinders and the addition of Va'a-Rio Kiwavyn from Marine Coast United was another spark for the Coconuts. It was Kiwavyn who netted the winner and Audioslavia blooded youth Kryhata Calanndi the nail in the 3-1 victory at the Cednia Beach center.

Battle of Turori: Despite the newly born rivalry with Cedniavella, there was no doubt the real rivals for Cednia Beach AFC were Mliona-Lpaka. Born out of sustainment, the two Turorian Clubs had been trading blows for the entirety of the modern era in the top flight. However, with Mliona-Lpaka having as many Vanorians on their team these days than they had Turorians, it seemed that the neutral support - particularly out of Almintora - was shifting towards Cednia Beach. When the Coconuts travelled to the Iobabao Legendary Park on matchday 13 it was once again Va'a-Rio Kiwavyn - the rivalry decider - scoring the winning goal. Kiwavyn's 51st minute effort just sneaking past Valanora's Draugwe Nororon to propel Cednia Beach AFC to second place in the league table at the break.

Lonngeylin Derby: With three Lonngeylin Clubs competing during Season 51, Lonngeylin City insisted on being included in the "Derby" although the long-standing presence of Lonngeylin Coast in the Stellar Division had began to take on its own direct rivalry with the Venom. Lonngeylin City held Strike to a 1-1 draw at home for a fine start to their Stellar Division re-birth while the Venom were able to defeat Lonngeylin Coast 2-1 at the Lonngeylin Coliseum despite playing the last 30 minutes with only 10 man after Tarek Edgeli's dismissal. Perhaps the biggest derby came at Lonngeylin Park when the ground sharing rivals met - but things were over quickly as Lonngeylin Coast dominated with goals from Sipke Tarala and a strong defensive performance from Luuk Aart in a 3-0 victory.

With four games to play, the Turoki Tide had a commanding lead at the top of the table and with second place side Cednia Beach AFC coming to town on matchday 23, it could be a de-facto coronation for the Tide as victory would have left them 9 points clear with only 3 games to play. The Turorians had other ideas, however, Va'a-Rio Kiwavyn opened the scoring 11 minutes in and despite having the better of the chances, the Tide couldn't crack the Coconuts. Dmitri Levada netted a second for Cednia Beach AFC late in the match and secured the victory as Cednia Beach clawed themselves back into the title picture claiming victory in one of the truest 6-pointer swing matches in Stellar Division history.

Lonngeylin Coast were officially eliminated from title contention after being on the losing end of an exciting 5-3 contest with the Yeaddin Owls. The Owls were extra motivated, needing the result to drag themselves away from the relegation zone.

On Matchday 24, the Turoki Tide looked to rebound but found third place side Eastal Lunar standing in their way in a critical scheduling tilt that got the best of the Tide. Needing the victory to keep their own slim title aspirations alive, the Astronauts got an outstanding performance from Vilita National Team goalkeeper Zelkki Milake who turned aside no less than 7 shots from the Tide. His opposite number, Ondrej Cech, however, also seemed to be unstoppable as a game with many chances on both ends seemed headed for a goalless draw. That was until Berali Tzufarei's tip in 10 minutes from time secured the points for the home side as Eastal Lunar stayed within 6 points of the leaders. Over at the Cednia Beach Center, Cednia Beach scraped out a hard-fought 3-2 victory over 4th place Lonngeylin Coast in perhaps one of the highest-impact scheduling days in recent Stellar Division history to climb level with the Turoki Tide at the top of the table.

Eastal Lunar's slim chance at a title went up in smoke with their 3-1 defeat at the hands of Lonngeylin Coast on the penultimate matchday, though their hopes would have been dashed regardless due to the results of the two title chasers ahead of them in the table.

Both Cednia Beach and the Turoki Tide had golden opportunities to take charge of the title race facing mid-table opposition. Of course, no one in their right mind would consider Cednia Beach's task to be an easy one - their mid-table fixture was an away match at the Lonngeylin Coliseum against defending champion Strike FC and coming away with a goalless draw under the circumstances would have been seen as a success. With the Turoki Tide hosting Rammsissil, however, they feared it would not be enough to keep them atop the table. Luckily for the Turorian side, the Turoki Tide were once again thwarted by an in-form netminder, this time it was Cosumar's Balbulus Grimwade who turned aside 10 of 11 shots he faced and Daniel Coco's contribution to cancel out the Tide's goal meant things ended level both at the Turoki Community Complex and on Matchday 25 at the top of the Stellar Division table.

At the other end of the table, Kiiarana City's 1-3 defeat to Turoki United put a quick end to their Stellar Division return. Though they fought hard throughout the season they would eventually fall short 4 points from safety with just one game to play. That would leave the relegation battle to be decided by Cedniavella (22) and Lonngeylin City (23) as the Yeaddin Owls (26) could breath easy despite falling 1-0 to Belltherdon Cularin and Mliona-Lpaka on Matchday 25.

THE DECISIVE FINISH:

The excitement was intense on the final matchday as Cednia Beach and the Turoki Tide entered the day level on 49 points. Only one could be crowned champion and both were faced with difficult matches.

For Cednia Beach AFC, perhaps on paper they had the easier task but their rivalry clash against Mliona-Lpaka AFC would be no easy fixture. However, it would be considered quite ironic should Mliona-Lpaka AFC - one of three Turorian clubs in the top flight - deny Cednia Beach becoming the first Turorian champions of the Stellar Division since the start of the Modern Era.

On paper, the task was slightly more difficult for the Tide, travelling to 4th place side Colonial Sile. Making matters worse, the Tide were certainly the title hunts out-of-form side entering the match on a four match winless run that included just two points earned.

The Tide not only needed to win, but they needed to win big as well as they entered the day -4 Goals Differential to the Coconuts. The task got even harder for the Tide almost immediately as the days matches kicked off with Colonial Sile's Elexhe Nofzaleine beating Cech just 5 minutes in. Some say the Cheers from the Cednia Beach Center could be heard all the way at Colonial Field.

Cednia Beach still had their own task to handle, however, and they appeared to be getting some inspiration from an un-expected source. Matlya Eelador, the longtime servant of the Turori National Team and Cednia Beach AFC had appeared to be relegated to a support role for the Coconuts with the rise of the youngsters Va'a-Rio Kiwavyn and Kryhata Calanndi. However, with a match of this importance - really, one of the single most important games in Cednia Beach AFC history- Cednia Beach manager Sirkii Moliaudo could think of no one better to lead the team out onto the field than Eelador. The 31 year old had spent the majority of his career at Cednia Beach, having been promoted through the clubs youth system and helping the club to the Vilitan Cup title in season 43. A brief spell at Colonial Sile ended during Season 49 and Eelador was back at his home town club - now, granted the opportunity to bring the Stellar Division title back to Turori.

Eelador took mattered into his own hands. As his younger teammates seemed to be awestruck in the gravity of the occasion, Eelador's experience was the difference. A mis-hit shot from Kiwavyn appeared headed out of play but Eelador smartly poked at the ball, controlled and then finished to open the scoring at about the same time that Nofzaleine had netted at Colonial Field, completing re-shaping the title picture. 10 minutes later, a purposeful ball through from Kiwavyn, who was beginning to understand that this was going to be Matlya Eelador's day in the sun, found the Turorian International in stride and the Coconuts were that much closer to the ultimate prize.

At the halftime interval things were looking good at the Cednia Beach Center as the home side were 2-0 up on their rivals while the Tide was losing by the same scoreline - Elexhe Nofzaleine netting a second goal just before the half and it looked as if the trophy was going to be changing countries for the first time in a generation.

The Tide did start to instrument a fight back in the second half, however, and clawed a goal back on the hour mark. Cednia Beach were not going to be denied, however. About the same time, Matlya Eelador completed a historic hat trick that sent the fans at the Cednia Beach Center into raptures. The stadium was rocking - inside and out. Not a seat to be had. The chants, which started as pro-Cednia Beach chants started to evolve into a chorus typically reserved for Turorian National Team games, with even the Mliona-Lpaka fans at the other end - with nothing otherwise left to watch on the pitch - joined in.

While it was a bittersweet day for one section of the city - Cedniavella's relegation confirmed on the same day after they were held to a 1-1 draw at the Lirai Asku Castle - it was an impromptu National Holiday in Turori - the party would last for days as Matlya Eelador's hattrick had delivered Cednia Beach AFC its, and the Football Association of Turori's 3rd Stellar Division title.

Rivalry Roundup ::
Turoki Tilt: 1st Half (Turoki Tide 0-1 Turoki United)
While they their 0-1 defeat as the denoted 'home team' in the first-half clash with Turoki United was their only defeat in the opening 13 matches, victories were much harder to come by for the Turoki Tide in the second half of the Vilitan League season. Cavuna Aquafek's goal was the difference in the return fixture against Turoki United, and the 1-0 victory - one of just 5 in the second half of the season for the Tide - meant that the Turoki Tilt would end in a draw over two legs. Turoki Tide likely claim the tiebreaker due to table position - though they certainly won't be happy with their second consecutive runner-up finish in the table.

Cednia Clash: 1st Half (Cedniavella 0-3 Cednia Beach)
While Cednia Beach's season ended at the top of the world, the opposite could be said of Cedniavella who finished 13th in the standings and their two-season spell in the Stellar Division officially came to the end with a draw on the final matchday with the Yeaddin Owls - also bringing to an end the short-lived Cednia Clash rivalry matchup. While they were upended comfortably at the Cednia Beach Center, Cedniavella will certainly take away fond memories of the return fixture - holding the eventual Stellar Division champions to a 2-2 draw in a thrilling match at Cednia Park. After holding the lead for the majority of the match, Cedniavella conceded two goals in the final 10 minutes and appeared headed for defeat in front of the home fans. They dug deep however and got the stoppage team equalizer to re-energize their supporters and take one final memory away from their time in the top flight.

Battle of Turori: 1st Half (Cednia Beach 1-0 Mliona-Lpaka)
With the Title on the line on the final matchday of the season, Cednia Beach emphatically re-cemented their place as the best team in Turori - and this time - in all of the Vilitan Cove. While they have been topped in the table on multiple occasions by their long-time rivals Mliona-Lpaka, the residents of Turori's smaller Island have never accomplished the feat that Cednia Beach AFC accomplished in Season 51 - and twice prior: Win the Stellar Division. Matlya Eelador's historic hattrick was the defining moment for a generation of Turorians as Cednia Beach claimed the Battle of Turori and the Stellar Division title on the same day.

Lonngeylin Derby: 1st Half (Jungle Strike FC (4 pts) Lonngeylin Coast (3 pts) Lonngeylin City (1 pts))
After Strike FC picked up Unified Sunrise Islands defender Zezinho at the mid-season break, it wasn't enough to give them the edge at Lonngeylin Park as Serabi Chamya netted the games only goal to give Lonngeylin Coast the edge and, given their position in the tables, a chance to claim that for a moment, they were the best team in Lonngeylin - better even than the defending champs. However, when Jukka Lindroos was sent off early in their rivalry crash with Lonngeylin City, those thoughts quickly turned to just saving face. Relegation threatened Lonngeylin City used the 3-1 victory over Lonngeylin Coast to propel themselves to safety while Strike FC's emphatic 4-1 drubbing of Lonngeylin's Lavender side ensured that Strike would top the table of the Lonngeylin Trio - even if Lonngeylin Coast would pip them slightly in the Stellar Division Table. Jungle Strike FC (7 pts) Lonngeylin Coast (6 pts) Lonngeylin City (4 pts))

Having been relegated to the Stellar Division for the first time in the modern era, and just the third time in club history - Makosile were widely expected to make a quick jump back to the Stellar Division. And thats exactly what happened. The Makos looked out of place in the Vilitan League's alternate tier and ended the season just one point shy of the all time Declasse record of 61 points that was set by Kiiara-Torra during Season 37. The 44 goals the Makos scored was also the most since the somewhat lopsided Season 37 campaign that saw domination by both Kiiara-Torra and Arcticala Inlet - with the Electricians putting up a 58 goal mark that hasn't been remotely approached since - with the Makos the first side since to even pass the 40-goal mark in the ultra-defensive minded Declasse.

Tivali City who, like Makosile, were founding members of the Stellar Division - would also earn a return to the top flight after squeezing by a trio of yo-yo clubs, Alikki-Corra, Jlinal Cove and Kiiara-Torra in a Declasse division that, while was unpredictable throughout the season, ultimately ending up resolving much as the predictions had... predicted.

Being a small club from well away from any major city centers, Riailia Village is always a fun club to follow but fans of the small-timers will have to follow them in the Tropicorp Lower League next season as they failed to keep pace with the freight train that was the middle of the Declasse table with 2nd through 13th separated by just 12 points. Sporta Eelandii drew the short end of the stick and were relegated despite accruing 31 points - just one point fewer than they had in Season 49 when they finished in 8th place in the league table. Eelandii's representation of Turori in the Declasse for Season 52 will be supplanted by Cedniavella who will drop down from the Stellar Division.

Vilitan Cup Final:

After surviving close battles in the Quarter Final rounds, Jungle Strike FC and Cednia Beach AFC ran riot on their Semi-Final opponents to reach the Vilitan Cup Final.

For Jungle Strike FC, it was a Semi-Final fixture straight out of the earliest days of the Vilitan League pitting the Yeaddin Owls, the first ever Stellar Division Champions against Strike the defending Stellar Division Champions. Of course, modern games don't care much about history and this was evident at the Lonngeylin Coliseum as Strike added three goals to the one they scored at the Lirai Asku Castle to coast into the Vilitan Cup final.

For Cednia Beach AFC the task was a little bit trickier. Despite being a mid-table Stellar Division side for the past 8 seasons - never finishing higher than 8th in the table - Rammsissil seem to have perfect the art of advancing in the Vilitan Cup. After two straight Quarter-Final appearances during Season 48 & 49, the Ramms made the semi final during Season 50 and repeated the feat this season, looking to do one better and make their first ever Vilitan Cup final. A 1-0 victory at Sissil Bank Stadium was the perfect recipe to start it off but things came undone at the Cednia Beach Center as the Coconuts popped 4 unanswered goals past a helpless Balbulus Grimwade who could not be found at fault for the majority of the tallies.

With the Cup Final taking place after the conclusion of the Stellar Division season, it set up an epic battle of Vilita vs. Turori. Of the previous seasons Stellar Division Champions versus the newly crowned Champions of the Stellar Division. Jungle Strike FC, Vilita's most recent Stellar Division champion and the Stellar Divisions winningest champion of all time against Cednia Beach AFC, newly crowned champions of Vilita & Turori and the only Stellar Division Champion ever from the Island Emirate of Turori.

While both sides had flashed their attacking credentials throughout the season, including during the Semi-Final fixtures that secured their place at the Tivali-Ring Stadium, it was widely expected that this Cup Final would be a much tighter affair. Having lost the Tropical Trophy to start the season and then having fallen flat on their inexperienced faces during the Stellar Division Season - the Cup Final represented a chance at redemption for the Venom - a chance to take something positive from an otherwise disappointing Season.

For Cednia Beach AFC, the motivating factor was unclear. Certainly, they wanted to win the Vilitan Cup. They hadn't won the Cup since Season 43 - where they also triumphed over Strike for their lone Cup victory, and they couldn't catch their Turorian rivals on the day as Mliona-Lpaka have recorded 3 Cup titles.

Additionally, history was not on Cednia Beach AFC's side. Other than their lone Cup title in Season 43, Cednia Beach AFC had never been succesful in one-off championship matches. The Vilitan Cup final would be Cednia Beach's 7th such contest having previously won only the one title. Additionally, with four appearances in the Tropical Trophy - and zero victories, it was time for this high-flying Cednia Beach team to decide if they were content with the mark they had left on history, or, if they were to become the first Turorian side in history to claim the double.

While Jungle Strike FC were the more motivated side, it appeared from the outset that Cednia Beach AFC were the more skilled side. There was a lot of talent in the lineup for Strike - talent of the likes that one could expect that their dominance of the Vilitan game will quickly return and remain for seasons to come. This, however, was not Strike's season. This was Cednia Beach's season and Kryhatta Calanndi the 18 year old half-Audioslavian half-Vilitan prospect showed composure beyond his years to score the game winner for the Coconuts and complete a memorable double bringing yet another trophy back to Turori and, for the first time ever - with the pre-Season 52 Tropical Trophy - the chance to have all three major championship trophies in Turorian possession.

Jungle Strike FC 0 - 1 Cednia Beach AFC

The Cednia Beach Center is one of the purest examples of capitalism and expansion in the Vilitan Leagues. Originally a modest plot for a modest team, the stadium has risen along with the rise of the club. Now, a world class stadium capacity wise, there are concessions that were made. The training grounds outside the center are second rate, and parking is virtually non-existent at the complex. Public transportation - including your own two feet, would be required for fans to access the stadium. Thats alright though, plenty of lodging surrounds the local area within walking distance.

The Sixty-Second Series B Champions’ Cup
First Preliminary Round

Image

Through an administrative error by COCANEFA, Oljestaden IF was entered into the Series B Champions’ Cup as a representative of Semarland, when in fact it represents Audioslavia. Consequently, Silexhera FC was placed in the play-off round as the sole representative of Audioslavia, and Sorensen Park Rangers was placed in the third preliminary round as the second-placed team representing Semarland.

The access list will be corrected such that Silexhera FC (AUD) will enter at the third preliminary round, and Oljestaden IF (AUD) and Sorensen Park Rangers (SEM) will enter at the play-off round. No other teams are affected by this change.

Legend
In the results grid, each row contains a team’s home matches and each column contains a team’s away matches. The home score is on the left. The fixtures are played in the following order (1 indicates the first team listed in the group draw, 2 indicates the second team, et cetera): 2v3, 4v1 · 1v2, 3v4 · 3v1, 2v4 · 1v3, 4v2 · 3v2, 1v4 · 2v1, 4v3

If two or more teams are equal on points on completion of the group matches, the following criteria are applied to determine the rankings:

  1. higher number of points obtained in the group matches played among the teams in question,
  2. superior goal difference from the group matches played among the teams in question,
  3. higher number of goals scored in the group matches played among the teams in question,
  4. higher number of goals scored away from home in the group matches played among the teams in question,
  5. superior goal difference,
  6. higher number of goals scored,
  7. higher number of goals scored away from home,
  8. higher number of wins,
  9. higher number of wins away from home,
  10. lower disciplinary points total based only on yellow and red cards received in all group matches (red card = 3 points, yellow card = 1 point, expulsion for two yellow cards in one match = 3 points),
    1. Champions’ Cup and Globe Cup: higher club coëfficient ranking,
    2. Series B Champions’ Cup and Youth Cup: drawing of lots,
    3. Super Cup: kicks from the penalty mark.
In the Super Cup, only criteria 1, 5, 6, and 11c apply.
