Review for Meistriliiga for Season 3

Thanks Yohannes for this awesome logo.

The most exciting Meistriliiga, Estenia has ever had so far, with both exciting teams Jelle FC and Levadia Narkiv bringing fear to all the Estenian teams they were playing against, this year because they had the same points, they would play something called Championship play-offs so Estenian Football Association can aknowledge the champion and sign their respctive teeams to their respective UICA Competitions. Amazing runs by both Rannin FC and Morna FC who weakened Kortu Dunamo,Juunu FC and Vijallu leaving them in the mid-table. Nantlans as always can't impress as they still try to find their way playing in the league, of course that's why we created II liiga with 10 more teams coming to participate in new competitions.

Esiliiga Season 1 Review

Because of the expansion of Association football across Estenia and because the eyes are bored of watching only the Meistriliiga and after planning for 2 Season the 3rd was the charm and the Esiliiga was created. Nuku FC in the inaugural season along with Kurin FC have already lots of Estenian hearts on their side, as both of the Heartland teams(Heartland is what we say Industrial Region) have played excellent football so far. Their players are having very much of a worth here. They deserved that title from the very beginning.

Home of the stronger than ever Rannin FC which has fully recovered after 2 seasopn's of being low with no quality performance. This ground has hosted some very good games like this year's championship playoffs matchday one where Jelle FC won Levadia Narkiv 1-0 to then become victorious on the second leg which was still hosted there,ending on 1-1 draw. Rannin FC been playing on that stadium since 2004 and that year was when Rannin FC finished 7th in the table after winning Levadia Murin(Now known as Jelle FC) with 3-2 and hhelped it remain stable for the rest of the 5 games remaining then. So the Rannin Palace has natural grass and is treated like your eyes, everyone taking care of the grass must be very good and keep the grass smooth enough for the teams to play games there. Smmoth ground along with lots of people and a very good structure means a very good stadium.

Globe Cup: National Arena, Turtu (Cap 56.000)

The National Arena or Nationala Arena in Estenian, is the main stadium for Morna opened on September 3rd 2013 and has excellent conditions. It hasn't hosted any majhor events yet, just Morna FC's games for seasons 2 and 3. Grass is syntetic but still smooth, They are planning of having natural grass there sothe players can play even better and make even more enjoy to the people. 56.000 for a venue like that is surely a big deal.

Estenian Football Association has announced that there will be no available stadiums for the Series B champions cup final.

OOC: To handle the new split format for the Premier Division in the rankings, I have elected to use the games played from the lower half to calculate rankings.

Commissioner Kenteris announces Acedonian Premier League format for Season 8

(AP) Commissioner Achillios Kenteris has announced the new format for the Acedonian Premier League for Season 8. As expected, the split format introduced last season will be retained. As was the case last season, the first part of the Premier League season will consist of a double round-robin involving the entire league. This year, that will consist of 30 matches for each team. This is the part that was expected.

However, Commissioner Kenteris has elected not to split the Premier League into 2 halves of 8 teams. Instead, the Commissioner will split the league into an Upper Third consisting of the top 6 teams in the table after the 30 match mark is reached, a Middle Third consisting of the 6 teams positioned between seventh and twelfth in the table and a Bottom Third consisting of the bottom 4 teams in the table. While the teams in the Middle Third will not be playing for anything but pride after the split, Commissioner Kenteris announced that the team that finished atop the Middle Third will receive the Home Warehouse Trophy, a trophy that has been donated to the APL by the multi-national chain of home improvement stores based out of the Holy Republican Empire. Commissioner Kenteris expressed his hopes that the Acedonian teams would someday earn a top 3 ranking, allowing for the top mid-table team to qualify for the Globe Cup. The Upper Third will play a quadruple round-robin consisting of a total of 20 additional matches. The Middle Third will play a double round-robin consisting of an additional 10 matches. The Bottom Third will play a double round-robin consisting of an additional 6 matches.

7th Acedonian Cup

With the expansion of the APL to 16 teams, every team will now enter the First Round of the Acedonian Cup. The 3 new teams promoted to the Second Division this year to replace Eagles and the 2 extra teams promoted to the Premier League due to the expansion were Monkeys, Moose and Elk. Although Rhinos never got to compete in the Cygnus Cup that they qualified for, due to its cancellation last season, the next edition of the Acedonian Cup still went forward, regardless.

No replays were required during the 6th edition of the Acedonian Cup. However, that would not be the case in the 7th edition. As the first round had concluded, the Lions and Walruses had both defeated their opposition by a 2 goals to nil margin at home while both the Dolphins and Bees had won their home legs by a goal to nil. This meant that there would be 2 replays. The new Second Division sides went 0-for-3 in the first round, but Elk put up a surprisingly strong performance. After tying the away leg against Knights at 2 goals apiece, Elk scored an early goal in their home leg. They would hold onto their lead until the half. However, they collapsed during the second half, conceding a goal around the hour mark and finally conceding the decisive goal that put Knights through, literally at the death. Meanwhile, the Cup threw up a battle between perennial Premier League title contenders Republica FC and Vultures. Republica FC pulled off a shocking 4 goals to 1 rout of Vultures in the home leg. The second leg finished 4-4, but was not a particularly exciting match since Republica FC going through was already a foregone conclusion. The biggest surprise of the First Round was, undoubtedly, the 1 goal to nil aggregate victory for Bears over the defending champion (and last season's UICA qualifier) Rhinos. Rhinos would not repeat as Acedonian Cup champions again and would not get to compete in a second Cygnus Cup.

First Round Replay

Dolphins 2–1 Bees
Lions 0–0 Walruses (0–0 AET) (4–3 pen.)

While Dolphins defeated Bees in regulation, the story of the day was the replay between Lions and Walruses. That match would stay scoreless through 120 minutes, although both sides had several opportunities to score. In the penalty shootout, the Walrus keeper was able to catch the 3rd Lion penalty. Walruses scored to take a 3 to 2 advantage. However, after Lions equalized, the Walrus penalty taker muffed the 4th kick, which ended up sailing miles high and to the right of the net. After Lions took the lead on the 5th penalty, the pressure was on Walruses to keep the shootout going. Their shot was low and to the bottom left corner of the net, but the Lion keeper barely got a hand on it and redirected it into the post. It ricocheted out and Lions had won the penalty shootout to advance to the next round.

Of the 8 teams that advanced to the Quarterfinals of this edition of the Acedonian Cup, the most surprising was undoubtedly Saints, a team that had only played in the Second Division for one season and had only avoided relegation due to the hapless Eagles, a team that won a total of 1 Second Division match in 2 seasons and has gone into bankruptcy following their relegation. Saints, normally a defensive-minded team, stunned the also defensive-minded Bankers with a 4 goal outburst that put them through to the Quarterfinals.

In one of the most shocking results in the history of the Acedonian Cup, the Saints stunned Republica FC by holding them to a goalless draw in the Republica FC leg and by scoring the lone goal of the Saints leg on a Republica own-goal. The club owned by Rule Theriault was eliminated from the Acedonian Cup by a team that is widely considered a favorite to be relegated from the Second Division.

After Saints and Turtles both pulled off upsets in their home legs, it seemed that the final would feature the side that finished last in the Premier League last year and the side that finished second from last in the Second Division a year ago. However, the Dolphins were a UICA Qualifier and the Bears had missed out on UICA due to injuries during the post-split portion of the season. Consequently, both teams were far superior in class and this showed in the second legs, as they both routed their opposition by a 3 goals to nil margin, setting up a showdown between the 2 of them in the Finals.

After a 1 goal to nil Dolphin victory in the first leg, the second leg seemed like it would be a 1 goal to nil victory for Bears for most of the match. However, a Dolphin goal in the 82nd minute equalized the second leg and won the Cup for Dolphins.

The Democratic States Football Association held a special meeting yesterday to discuss the Domestic League system, and are pleased to announce a number of significant changes. The first of these was to commission a new badge for the association, which will also appear on the national team kit. This can be viewed

In addition to this, major changes have been made to the league pyramid in order to try and promote the game in more areas of the country. This has meant 40 more clubs have been granted professional status, increasing the number of pro-clubs from 34 to 74.
Instead of introducing new tiers to the pyramid, each individual tier will have more teams as members, hopefully increasing the excitement that each league season brings. Division 1 will remain with just 10 members though, as the DSFA feel it has become a tradition to have such a small amount of teams playing for one trophy, keeping the margins small. Division 2 this season will contain the eight teams who would have otherwise expected to be in it, as well as the eight teams who would have otherwise expected to be in Division 3, a total of 16 teams. Division 3 will contain the eight teams who would otherwise have expected to be in Division 4, plus the top 8 ranked newly professional clubs. Division 4 will be split into two areas, North and South, with the most northerly 16 of the remaining 32 entering the North league, and the 16 most southerly the South.
The addition of 40 new clubs also means that the Fenton Cup needs to be revamped. Division 4 teams will enter the Cup at the first preliminary round, Division 3 teams at the first round, and Division 2 teams at the third round. The Fenton Trophy will consist of teams who were knocked out before the third round of the Fenton Cup. The Tri-Cup and Fenbarric Shield will remain the same.

Drakonikan Football Association - 2015 League Results

Introduction:
The Drakonikan Football Association (known locally as the Drknikn Ftbl Ascitn) is the governing body of football in New Drakonika. It is the owner of the Drakonikan professional football system, the Drknikn Fa Cp and Drakonikan National Team. Its membership stands at 64 teams across 4 divisions, known as the Professional Leagues.

Drakonikan football features mostly dracons, the native species of New Drakonika, known for their athletic ability and short careers (and indeed lives),

The leagues have no restrictions on squad size and composition, and seeing as most of the teams have started from virtually nothing, the FA has offered high prize money for the best teams, with 64 million being offered to the Pmr Lg winner, and going down in steps of 1 million through all leagues to the last place finisher, who receives nothing. 64 million has also been offered to the FA Cup winner, with 32 million going to the runner up and the prize money halving for every round and being given to the losing teams, going down to 0 for the first round. The substitution rules are 3 from 7 and there is no financial limit.

The solitary Champion's Cup spot will go to the Champion of the Pmr Lg, along with the Atlantian Oceanian Champions League spot, while two Globe Cup spots shall be given to the second and third teams in the Pmr Lg, while the third Globe Cup spot goes to the FA Cup winner, unless they have already qualified, in which case the spot goes to the runner-up, or if they also qualified, fourth in the Pmr Lg. The cup winner also qualifies for the Cygnus Cup. Meanwhile, the last place finisher qualifies for the Kylx Kup.

Teams were chosen by a random ballot of 80 cities, and named with 12 suffixes. Drknika, the capital and largest city, recieved 2 teams, while Jsnfd, a large city around 100 kilometers south of Drknika received a whopping 5 teams! This was due to the pure randomness of the team generator, and shall not be rectified, oot even in the case of a league expansion, which will also be random. This has inevitably led to some cities not having representation in the Pro Leagues, but they at least have the Amateur league to focus on, which unfortunately has no promotion or relegation to the Pro Leagues for the foreseeable future.

Home to all two Drknika teams as well as all National Teams, it may look like your generic massive football stadium from the pitch, but inside the buildings are state of the art facilities like top-class food and drink, from the cheap and fattening to the opulence of 5-star restaurants. The Drknika MtroRl (Drakonika MetroRail) links DrknikArna to the rest of the city, and if an emergency happens, the stadium's strong architecture and advanced warning system will get people out and safe ASAP. The pitch is unusually resistant to damage, it's a wonderpitch. It's composition has been attempted elsewhere, but the results have never been as good. It really is a freak of nature. And lastly, it is a tourists paradise, as it hosts the Drknkn Ntnl Msm ov Sprt (Drakonikan National Museum of Sport).

Globe Cup: Jsnfd Stdm, Jsnfd (capacity 53,500)

Jsnfd Stdm was created by the same team that built DrknkArna for the five Jsnfd teams, it is quite visually similar, but smaller as a result of Jsnfd being smaller than Drknika. The wonderpitch of DrknkArna was attempted to be replicated, only for it to partially succeed, it doesn't rip up as much as a regular stadium, but it's not as effective as the Arena. The facilities lack the opulence of 5-star restaurants, but it still has many good food outlets, mostly appealing to the middle-class, as Jsnfd is a less wealthy place than opulent Drknika.

The newly rebuilt Lord Almighty Gregory National Stadium will be bidding to host the Champions Cup. It was newly rebuilt following a terrorist attack by Wolfopians and is the biggest stadium in Gregoryisgodistan. Although smaller than the original, the fans are packed in tighter making for a raucous atmosphere. For Gregoryisgodistan national team home games, there is always a sell-out since fans are forced to attend and executed if they don't. That will not be in place for the Champions Cup.

Globe Cup: Slavery Field, District 23 (Capacity 300)

Slavery Field is a field in District 23. The field is located inside a slave district where slaves work on manual labor. Not all slaves are based in slave districts, since some work directly for masters, but these slaves in the slave districts farm food items for Government VIP's who can eat whatever they want, to be shipped off to their homes, as well as making other items for government VIP's such as clothing. The slave districts are also used for people sentenced to slave labor for crimes. This was decided that Slavery Field would bid after Slaves R Us attempted to sponsor the Globe Cup. If this bid is selected, slaves from District 23 will attend to both teams' every need during their stay.

Season 24 Results

The short Ko-orenite season has ended yet again. The 14 rounds have been played all over summer, to clear the stadiums and arenas in time for autumn's sports and to devote all attention to the upcoming UICA season: the Champions' Cup, to which Ko-oren can still send two teams, the Globe Cup, with three teams as always, and the SBCC, with four teams. With 14 games, there are 8 teams in a divison, and that means that 5 out of 8 teams in the National Primary Division qualify for any international tournament. Half of the second division (National Secondary Division) qualify for the same tournament. But that's what you get for being a relatively small country with many big sports and a limited number of venues for all these big games in all these different sports. Short seasons and plenty of exhibition matches and cups to prepare for the most important 14 weeks of the year.

Aubury United and Suinohiro XI promoted to the Primary last year. The southwestern formation of Aubury and the eastern team of Suinohiro have tried to get their roster up to the level of the Primary Division, and it seems like they succeeded. Female midfielder Cátia Saldanha and veteran Gareth Cospatrick moved over to Aubury, while Min-Hee Nam joined Suinohiro XI to strengthen their defence. Plenty of transfers across the league: Kagetaka Maekawa, good for 6 goals last season, went to Aminey SC while his old team Teragaseki Circle pulled Asako Yamazaki from its youth team in his place. The money was used to get a quality goalkeeper in Boudewijn van der Heijden. The most impressive moves have been made by Miradela Athletic, selling 5 players of their last season starting eleven and buying 3 key replacements for defence, midfield and attack: Viola Foege, Juan Lin and Luís Couto. Local heroine Joana Dias extended her contract for another 4 years.

Miradela Athletic starts off with a relatively easy schedule, receiving Willowbourne United and Aminey SC at home in the first half of the season and only visiting the two Season 23 heavyweights on match day 10 and 13. They will be looking to secure an early lead in the season, while Willowbourne will try to keep the damage to a minimum early in the season: a visit to Aminey, Miradela and Schemerdrecht on days 3, 4 and 6. Aminey SC has a mixed schedule, and the four games against the two newly promoted clubs Suinohiro XI and Aubury United nicely in the middle on days 6, 7, 8 and 9.

Opening day rolls around, and Willowbourne opens the season as the reigning champion with a 18:00 Saturday night game at home against Teragaseki Circle. Last season, the eastern Teragaseki finished 6th: no international football and no relegation. In this game, it showed that the champions will have a tough time breaking through any defence this season, with Teragaseki not even breaking a sweat in the first half. After the break, Everett Gloucester's team kicked it up a notch and pressured the right wing most of all. Louise Moreau, for Willowbourne, scored the first goal of the season after 65 minutes: a header from close distance. The ball came from the right wing, obviously, and Teragaseki tried to break through the Willowburnian wall close to the end of the game, to no avail. Willowbourne secured a win on day one, but it did show the problems the champions have: the team failed to keep the ball for long and they simply could not force through any sort of defence... and Teragaseki is not known for defending. On the same day, Schemerdrecht recorded a 3-1 win over Suinohiro XI in a mean welcome to the Primary Division. Olympic Greencaster and Aminey SC shared points after a 1-1 draw, and Miradela and Aubury United took a long time to decide which team would eventually take the points, but a lousy 0-0 was avoided by Miradela's Emanuel Ferreira. He received a through pass from Dae-Jung Lee, who played a fantastic 90 minutes, and launched the ball into the roof of the net from around the penalty spot.

After seven match days, every team had played every other team once. Miradela, as expected, capitalised on their easy schedule by leading the division 5-1-1, with Aminey and Schemerdrecht trailing 4-1-2. Willowbourne was doing poorly in 4th place, with three victories, a tie and three losses. At the bottom, it looked like relegation would become a fight between Olympic Greencaster, Suinohiro XI and Teragaseki. Following his good opening day performance, Emanuel Ferreira was leading the top scorers table with 6 goals in seven matches. His teammate and captain Dae-Jung Lee was at the top of the assist table (9 assists), and it was proving to be a fruitful seven games for the southeastern team. It would be Schemerdrecht's Marjolein de Jong who was the best defensive player on the league: the goalkeeper in Ko-oren's second largest city only conceded five goals and kept three clean sheets in seven matches played.

The second half of the season featured a 5-1 blowout victory for Miradela Athletic over Olympic Greencaster, reaffirming the former teams ambition to win the title and the latter teams status as potentially worst in the division. Lee scored twice in this game: rare for her as she is usually in charge of putting others in the position to score, and Ferreira almost got a hattrick but saw a third goal of his cancelled for offside. Meanwhile Schemerdrecht was excelling in stealing last-minute wins: their wins over Teragaseki, Willowbourne and Suinohiro came together in the 83rd, 91st and 94th minute respectively. On the other side of the pitch, De Jong was still doing her best for her team and Schemerdrecht's chances to win the title increased by the week. Willowbourne United was still struggling, losing to Miradela and Aminey and that was the end of their title aspirations. They only recorded one win in the second half of the season, over Suinohiro (which turned out to save them from relegation) and all other games were ties.

Miradela Athletic secured the championship with a win over Aubury United on Saturday: regardless of Schemerdrecht's results on the following Sunday, the southeastern team claimed the title. Meanwhile Schemerdrecht did not even need a win to secure the second Champions' Cup spot, after Aminey and Teragaseki all won their Saturday night games. Aubury, as said, lost to Miradela and that paradoxically secured Schemerdrecht's second place as well as Miradelas first place. Suinohiro and Greencaster will play in the National Secondary Division next season, while Mika FC will go back up straight after they went down last season. Other relegator Furune FC will stay in the Secondary one more year. The other team that secured promotion was Aberworth Eleven, who did not even score more than 14 goals (which would have been a 1:1 goals per game ratio), but they stuck at 11. They still only allowed 6 goals in 14 games, three of which were scored by Mika FC on the same day, and with 10 clean sheets they are definitely a force (or actually a wall) to be reconed with in the National Primary. Booghove Urban FC was left behind the Secondary, also with 6 conceded goals, but with a lower goal production (9 versus 11).

This seasons most limited offence is from the Tertiary East Division: Esashi Autumn FC will relegate after their poor 6 goals scored in 14 games. They only conceded 10... but nothing can save you from scoring less than one goal per two games. They will be looking to strengthen their attack to bounce right back up to the semi-pro level. The worst defenses (relatively) are from the Primary Division: both Suinohiro and Greencaster conceded 24, which is not rivaled by any team in the top 4 divisions (including 8 leagues, 64 teams). Chikunoshiro District, second last in the Quaternary Eastern Islands Division, tied 7 games (most of which 0-0), which meant that half of their matches ended in sharing the points with the opponent. It also was a good year for Ravenbeek: the city's two teams both promoted: Ravenbeek City will go to the National Secondary while their place in the Tertiary West will be taken by Ravenbeek Ravens FC.

The United States of The Oaklands Football Federation (USOFF): 2nd Professional Football Season

Changes to Season format form Season 1 to Season 2
1. The Professional Divisions Cup format is changed slightly. There is now a preliminary round for Division 5 to make 64, then the competition is straight knockout form a random draw.
2. The Television Leagues Cup has been scrapped to make way for a nationwide, all levels competition, named simply: The Oaklands Football Trophy. Various divisions join in at different stages of the competition, to save Division 1 teams playing local sides for six months. Results from Round 7 onwards have been posted for your perusal.

List of notes and guidelines:

First of all, the Union of Esportivan Football Clubs would like to thank both the Konsehong Pampalakasan ng Maharlikang Barangay and the Apoxian Football Board for their commitment to the Campionato Esportivano di Campeones during the previous editions.
As from this moment onwards, representatives of the federations of Jeckland, Patistan and Buyan will step forth to ensure the continuity of this tournament.
The thirteenth edition of the Campionato Esportivano di Campeones welcomes thirty-eight teams from twenty different federations, a rise in comparison with the previous edition.
Only associations who explicitly stated their intent to enter the CEdC were accepted.
The entries of Kazamatsuri and the Southern Sunrise Islands were accepted, yet these federations are kindly asked to state their intent more explicit, with the correct entry format.
Only one final site bid was submitted, by the Vyktory Arena in Vyktory City – quite fittingly located in Vyktory. There was some confusion whether said stadium is located there and still exist for that matter. However, as the Vyktoryan sides participated to the UICA, their existence is probably confirmed by the UICA officials. Due to a lack of UEFC officials, we just followed their guidance. As such, the final will be conducted in the Vyktory Arena.
Considering the number of participants, a preliminary stage was added to the habitual format of a home-and-away elimination tournament with thirty-two participants. The nineteen submitted champions automatically qualified for the tournament proper. Of the remaining teams, all but the seven with the highest UICA ranking were placed in the preliminary round. Those are Jottnar Kallsmudden (BYN), Real Santa Maria (FEL), Mortsey (JEC), Wolfenstade Ehrgeiz (KDE), Violence Chariots (NPH), Norton y’Myren (PDT) & FC Chippenham (TSA).
For the tournament proper, the sixteen highest ranked champions are considered seeded. These teams will play the second leg on the field of the unranked sides. Otherwise, no seeded elements were added with the sole exception that two clubs from the same nation cannot meet before the semi-finals.

The inaugural season of the new Acedonian Premier League format was a surprising one, with the Legion and Dolphins cementing themselves atop the league, relegating the likes of Vultures, Republica FC and Ravens to positions well below the top 3 spots that they had been accustomed to. The new 3-way split format was a massive success, as spectators flocked to the matches to watch a down-to-the-wire race for the Home Warehouse Trophy. In the end, Rhinos defeated Hippos by a 2 goals to 1 margin at the Acedonian National Stadium on the final matchday of the Middle Third to claim the trophy. Meanwhile, the relegation battle also came down to the wire, with Geckos and Zebras, the 2 teams that finished 1-2 in the Second Division during the previous season, falling into the relegation zone. Parrots fell from a spot in the upper half last season to narrowly escaping relegation this season. However, the biggest surprise of all was, undoubtedly, the UICA qualification of Wolves, a team that had barely avoided a relegation playoff a season prior. Now, they were headed to the Globe Cup.

Unsurprisingly, the 3 new teams finished at the very bottom of the Second Division. However, what was surprising was just how awful Moose were. Conceding 98 goals in just 30 matches, they were routed night after night. While they actually managed to win twice (something Eagles couldn't manage in 2 seasons), Moose were still relegated back to the Third Division. Walruses, Bulls and Owls battled for the 2 spots in the Promotion/Relegation playoffs while Bankers came out on top of a 5-team race for the final UICA berth that went down to the final matchday.

In the end, neither series was close, as the Second Division teams easily claimed their spots in the 9th season of the Premier League.

The Rules

The LUCC is played in three phases:

Phase 1 - Regional Leagues (Ligas Regionais)

Phase 2 - Copa Julio I

The champions and runners-up of the Ligas Regionais qualify for the playoffs of the Copa.

The roud of 16, quarterfinals and semifinals are played in home and away matches.

- Away goals rule applies
- There are no extra-time or penalty shoot outs. The team with the best results in the respective Liga Regional will pass to the next stage in case of tie in the two matches with no away goal difference.

The final is played in one single match in neutral field.

Seeding:

The qualified teams are seeded according to their results in the Ligas Regionais, with Liga winners seeded 1 to 8 and runners-up seeded 9 to 16.

Procedural Notes:

The entry of City of Astra FC (VYK), in addition to the bid from the Lionsgate Stadium, in Lionsgate, Vyktory, have been rejected due to the turmoil and eventual collapse of Vyktory.
The organizers of the Cup Winners' Cup shall accept the entries of Yakitusk Yes (CHI), Luz Verde da Tropa (CCR), Dolphins (ACD), Gruelmakers (GGS), Frst Sprtng (NDK), Eastweald (COS), and Coohen City FC (ZEN) for the next edition, the thirty-second edition of the Cup Winners' Cup.
The organizers would like to apologize to Chippewa Falls Strykers (DAR), who were instead replaced by a club from Darvale.
In addition, the organizers would like to apologize to the following clubs: Aĝi Ĉeasa (ISL), UD Lopez (PSL), and Grimsby Town FC (DAR) for not including these teams in the preliminary pots. The teams have been entered, and the format has been change to accommodate for the now present forty-four teams. The Yttribian Football Federation would like to apologize for this.

A mighty hello, and welcome to the Cygnus Cup. Due to logistical reasons, the Valladar Football Association has handed the duties of organizing the competition to the Yttribian Football Federation for this edition of the tournament. The 31st Cygnus Cup will see 44 clubs from 43 associations participate, an increase from the 42 clubs and 41 participants in the last edition of the Cygnus Cup. Twenty-four clubs will participate in the preliminary round, in which the twelve winners will play with the teams from the top twenty associations participating in the tournament. The legendary Starblaydi club Iskara Daii make their Cygnus Cup return, but face stiff competition from powerhouse clubs, including Jungle Strike FC (VIL), Ulsa (EUR), and Marinos Metropolis (VLD). However, could last year's champion Metropolis Alligators (VLD) repeat as champions, or will one of the rising clubs in multiversal football take home the Cygnus Cup trophy?

Final Site Election

With the return of bids for the thirty-first edition of the Cup Winner's Cup, the delegations representing the Equestrian States, Vilita, Turori, and Kernansquillec flew to an undisclosed location in the cold Urellian mountains of Yttribia, and partook in a twenty-four hour match of laser tag in order to determine the host. After an intense battle between the delegations, the delegation representing Turori came out victorious; as a result, the thirty-first Cygnus Cup final shall be hosted in the Coliseum of the Inurahtii - Inura Forest, Turori (cap. 88,000).

Congratulations to Urbanista, who become the second Apoxian club to be crowned winners of the Cygnus Cup, after Barbury Town in the twenty-ninth edition of the Cup Winners' Cup. Mar Sara were looking to be the first Vanorian winner since Raynor City United in the twenty-sixth edition of the tournament. The Yttribian Football Federation would like to thank their colleagues at the Valladar Football Association for entrusting them with running this edition of the tournament. They now hand over the organization rights back to the VFA.

Notes for Cup Winners' Cup Entry

Each association may enter ONE club into the Cup Winners' Cup, with the exception of Apox which may enter one club in addition to Urbanista.
Should Urbanista win their qualifying national association or league cup, the spot held over for a second Apoxian entrant will be vacated.
Clubs can only qualify through ONE domestic cup competition.
Each user may enter clubs from no more than two associations.
With the exception of Urbanista, all entered teams must have won a national association or league cup; Super Cup winners and winners of play-offs cannot be entered.
Entrants must be posted in the International Domestic Soccer NewsWires (i.e. this thread), and at least the final must have been scorinated and posted (with a link in the IDSN if it is posted elsewhere).
The deadline for Cup Winners' Cup entry will expire at the same time as the UICA one.

Stadium bids for the final of the 32nd edition of the Cup Winners' Cup are now being invited. Bids should be posted in this thread with relevant details of the stadium and its facilities.
