Runner Cup Three (OOC Thread/Closed)

The Runner Cup, now in its third edition, is a tournament for nations who still wish to pursue success in international association football yet did not qualify for the World Cup or the Cup of Harmony. This tournament is not WCC sanctioned, which means it will NOT boost your KBP; the KBPC formula* is used to generate ranks in this tournament.

* regular KPB except for fallowing exceptions:
1/2 of points earned last Runner Cup will be added.
1/4 of points earned two Runner Cups ago will be added.
1x points earned for last Runner Cup Playoffs will be added.
1/2x of points earned two Runner Cup Playoffs ago will be added.

Nations that participated in the latest world cup (World Cup 69), did not qualify for the World Cup proper, and were not invited to the Cup of Harmony (CoH 61) are eligible for this tournament. If the nation meets the above qualifications, a telegram will be sent to them, or if you see your name on the list you may tg me that you accept. To accept the invitation, simply state your intent to do so on this thread.

Any nation capable and willing to host this event may bid to be a host. In the last two additions, it has been a single host affair. This is a perfect event for nations wanting to stretch their wings and try hosting a small event. Last time around, the Runner Cup had around 40 participants and 10 RP's a day. All nations that have signed up by the time bids are closed may vote on which host they want. Update: You do not need to qualify for the Runner Cup in order to host it. If you want to host but did not qualify fill out the Bid App and state you did not qualify.

Stadium of Jackson: Jackson City, Piasxe – 95,000 cap.
The Golden Stadium: Golden City, Herbeid – 88,000 cap.*
Five-Point Stadium: Lake Star, Starix – 100,000 cap.*
The Eastern Stadium: City of Fredericksburg, Opangue – 68,700 cap.
The Pixe Stadium: Pixe City, Piasxe – 90,500 cap.
The Sunset Stadium: Hery City, Herbeid – 75,000 cap.
Estadio Estrella: City of Star, Starix – 85,280 cap.

*Note: These stadiums might be in use for another tournament, however, these two events won’t collide over the stadiums.

Star United States has been around NS since early 2012, February 20, 2012, and has been joining and hosting tournaments ever since. Star United States has had to honor to host the First Star Triathlon Worldwide Tournament; Fourth Star Triathlon Worldwide Tournament; Fifth Star Triathlon Worldwide Tournament; and the International FireStorm Cup VI, along with many international soccer friendlies, and a national league of sports.

Order of tournament if ______ sign up.
16 Teams – 4 groups of 4, quarter-finals, semi-finals, third place match, final match
20 Teams – 4 groups of 5, quarter-finals, semi-finals, third place match, final match
24 Teams – 6 groups of 4, Play-offs (double), Hexagonal Final
32 Teams – 8 groups of 4, Round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals, third place match, final match
40 Teams – 8 groups of 5, Round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals, third place match, final match
48 Teams – 8 groups of 6, Round of 24, Play-offs (double), Hexagonal Final
56 Teams – 8 groups of 7, Round of 32, Round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals, third place match, final match

However, any number of teams will be worked with.

Scorination & RP Bonuses
The SQIS formula of Xkborante will be used in order to successful host the tournament. RP bonuses will not be revealed, but creatively is great suggested. RP bonuses will be accumulative throughout the tournament.

Your question reached the bidding committing of the Star United States National Soccer Association. The question was carefully examined. At the end of the session, the tie-breaker composers still were unable to answer the question asked. They were fired due to it. The committee then replaced the composed list to the following: 1) Points; 2) Goal Difference; 3) Goals For; 4) H2H Points; 5) H2H Goal Difference; 6) H2H Goals For; and 7) H2H Match.

Going back and reviewing, the essential need of the goal difference was noted, something that I over-looked when composing the bid. Also, following along the regulations of RL associations, the list has been edited and revised accordingly.

That's for a reason. If you were allowed to edit the rankings you could give yourself points you never had.
