This is the RP thread for the Games of the IX OIympiad, in the Kytlerian cities of Zube and Kytler Bay City.

Ninety-two delegations have been entered - you should only RP if you're on the list.

Events are scorinated daily. RP cutoff times will usually be around 1759 UTC (1859 BST, 1359 ET), but earlier cutoff times are likely on 24 August, 25 August, and 7 September. Variation is also possible on other days. Results will then be posted several hours later - dozens of complicated events take time to scorinate. Full details of the schedule, and the results as they come in, can be found on the results and schedule thread - do not post on that thread. A direct link to the schedule is here.

The first post on page 2 of this thread contains details about the host cities and the venues.

Gregoryisgodistan Athlete Preview, Part I

Here is the first in a multi-part preview looking at the athletes who will be representing Gregoryisgodistan at the Games of the IX Olympiad. We will be taking a look at all the athletes eventually.

Loyal Friend of Lord Almighty Gregory Drew Buller will be competing in several diving events, specifically the men's 3 m springboard and Men's 10 m platform. Like most of the athletes here for Gregoryisgodistan, this is his first Olympic Games. He was selected as a wild-card selection mainly due to his loyalty to Lord Almighty Gregory and the state. He will probably not win a medal, but hopes to place in the middle of the pack.

Sex Slave IS8182BZZ will be competing in two women's diving events, the 3 m springboard and 10 m platform. She was only selected because her master thought it would be amusing to see her diving into a pool in a skimpy bathing suit. Since she is a sex slave, she had to do what he wanted. Therefore, she will be wearing a rather revealing bathing suit when she dives. If any athletes are lesbians, it might distract them and they might lose. She has almost no hope of winning, but hopefully her master is pleased and she is not executed.

Sex Slave FHF191 is competing in the same events as Sex Slave IS8182BZZ, for pretty much the same reasons. We are not permitted to reveal whether or not the two sex slaves have the same master, as ownership of sex slaves and personal favor slaves is anonymous.

Author SSXJAJA12 will be competing in the men's 50 m freestyle swim. He has a better hope of a medal than any of the athletes listed up until this point, but is rather average compared to others in the event. He qualified on merits at the Gregoryisgodistan Olympic Trials which were held in May. He is best known not for his swimming skills but for writing over 50 children's books teaching them to love Lord Almighty Gregory. His latest work, "The Llama Mama" was released earlier this month and is about a Llama mother telling a baby llama how great and wonderful Lord Almighty Gregory is.

Loyal Friend of Lord Almighty Gregory Jake Cruz will be competing in the 50 m freestyle alongside his author teammate and will also be competing in the 100 m freestyle. Although he is a Loyal Friend of Lord Almighty Gregory, he qualified on merit, not loyalty. He is expected to do better in the 100 m, where he could qualify for the final if he gets lucky, than he is in the 50 m, where he will likely not finish better than the middle of the pack.

Clockmaker PSILU9AS will be competing in three swimming events, the 100 m free, the 200 m free, and the 100 m backstroke. He is better in freestyle than backstroke, and has an outside chance of reaching the final in one or both of those events. He could even win a medal. He is Gregoryisgodistan's best medal hope in the freestyle.

Duck Caller KUXXLUX913 will be competing in a whopping seven different swimming events for Gregoryisgodistan. These events are the 200 m free, 400 m free, 100 m backstroke, 200 m backstroke, 100 m butterfly, 200 m butterfly, and 200 m IM. Of these events, he is best at the butterfly, where he could seriously contend for a medal. No Gregoryisgodistani has ever won a summer Olympic medal and he hopes to be the first. The butterfly events are his best chance to do so, followed by the IM. He is above average in the freestyle events, but probably not good enough to win a medal. His job is a duck caller. He calls ducks so that Duck Hunters can hunt them and they can be used for various purposes to serve government VIPs, including food and toys.

Loyal Friend of Lord Almighty Gregory Sam Ojeda was selected due to his loyalty and will compete in the 100 m breaststroke. Like his teammate Loyal Friend of Lord Almighty Gregory Paul Porridge in the same event, he will likely not contend for a medal.

Gruelmaker SASXNA13 will compete in the men's 200 m breaststroke. He is a gruelmaker for his day job and puts in grueling hours in the pool at night just to prepare for this event. He qualified on merit at the Olympic trials, though he is not expected to contend for a medal. He is also in charge of making the gruel rations for the commoners on the swim team. The government VIPs can eat what they want.

Lord Almighty Gregory's 23rd Concubine and Lord Almighty Gregory's 24th Concubine, who have no other names, will compete in numerous swimming events for the amusement and pleasure of Lord Almighty Gregory because he is God and they should do what he says. It is their job to serve his pleasure. They will also compete in the 4 x 100 freestyle relay along with Sex Slave WXBAH9128 and Sex Slave WAKLZ. They have no hope of winning a medal in any event, but hopefully Lord Almighty Gregory will be pleased. Otherwise, they may face execution.

Gregoryisgodistan Has Sex Slaves

Note: This article was written after Goran and Mila visited Gregoryisgodistan just a week ago. Albania borders the Serbian Empire and not Gregoryisgodistan.

It seems odd that Iniquity Magazine would visit Gregoryisgodistan's capital to reveal how people live there, but the Olympiad entry list makes us realize that Gregoryisgodistani culture has a very impersonal mindset of people named IS8182BZZ for example. However, that is what makes the place so interesting. We don't even know what the capital city is named, but we'll call it Gregorypolis just because we're certain that a man who runs a country and believes is god wouldn't be humble enough not to name a city after himself. In Gregorypolis, the city is busy and full of police and military personnel who follow Gregory's every last whim whether it's executing slaves who are disobedient or coercing authors and journalists to make articles favorable to Gregory himself. One such book is called "The Llama Mama" which is little more than indoctrination for small children showing how great and wonderful Lord Almighty Gregory is.

However, that isn't the worst that Gregoryisgodistani culture has to offer. The cuisine is horrid to the point that most people who aren't generals, super-generals, or loyal friends of Lord Almighty himself are fed rations of gruel more comparable to Oliver Twist. Even the athletes are fed this gruel. It has a high caloric value and full of protein, but it doesn't resemble anything similar to food back in Beograd or even the most impoverished rural hamlet near the minefields in Bosnia Region. It's safe to say that there's some factory that makes the gruel ingredients somewhere in the country.

And it even gets worse. There are millions of concubines and sex slaves in Gregoryisgodistan who must have sex at their master's command not unlike bears trained by the Roma would dance. Several of them have been brought to the Olympiad as athletes with a purpose of providing distraction for other swimmers swimming in skimpy swimsuits with no intention of scoring a medal whatsoever. We have to question the logic of these masters to even let their slaves out to Olympiad events given that several concubines defected last year to the Serbian Empire in Operation Sierra, but it is the master's prerogative to provide cheap entertainment to high society back home in Gregoryisgodistan. Still, what type of culture would deliberately put swimmers who are only known for their looks to compete in the Olympiad? A highly decedent and corrupt one to say the least.

The life is horrible in that place and might as well be a dystopian regime more akin to the regime and dictatorship of Enver Hoxha in neighboring Albania during the Cold War era. Hoxha built bunkers all over Albania and killed over three hundred thousand Albanians in his thirty some years as dictator. Gregory might be far worse than Hoxha given how readily the soldiers will execute athletes for not performing to standards. Gruel rations that make Hoxha's Albania look like a paradise and none of the life expectancy or literacy improvements that Enver had ordered to shock Albania from being the poorest and very agrarian country in Europe to an industrialized country within his lifetime.

She comes from a notable Schutzenphalian canoe dynasty; her brother, Frank Frey, is also a member of the Schutzenphalian national sprint canoe team, though he missed out on qualification for the Olympics, and her father, a former national champion in sprint canoe, is now a coach with the team. She has a degree in natural history and parks tourism from Theenebach University, and is now studying at the Hochschule für Wechtungsmedlerkunstgetzschröbersaftweihummelstrankelschlüßwenderkaltigkräft to become a teacher. State of Play
A man. Sports. Booze.

Woo. The Olympics.

It's been a while since I've done anything apart from cricket, and it'll take time for me to get back into the swing of writing about multiple sports all happening at the same time, very fast. Like, Test Cricket takes 5 days to happen, with numerous breaks and plenty of spare time. But the Men's 100m final takes 10 seconds. Journalists who do just cricket have it easy. Us multi-sporters are the real heroes. Anyway, I'm rambling. I do like the Olympics, because of ~~Wray winning loads of medals~~, the highest standard of international sports, ~~lots of sexy lady athletes~~, the vast array of nations competing under the Olympic flag & ~~free food for journalists~~ the Olympic Spirit uniting all the world.

Last time round, for those of you who need a refresher, in Liventia, Wray took home 24 medals. 8 of each colour. Brendan Matthews took home 4 medals, and an Olympic record in the Men's 200m Freestyle, whilst my arch-nemesis Grace Spencer took home three in the establishment of Wray as swimming's second nation, behind Vekaiyu. We also took medals in athletics, cycling, rowing and canoeing. In personal events, I met my long-time girlfriend Amy White in the Olympic Stadium in Orean. Two years on and we're both travelling to Zube & Kytler Bay for the Ninth Summer Olympics. It's gonna be massive...

So, how are we going to do? Well, I hate to be a pessimist, but long story short, not as well as last time. I mean, come on, we were the best of the rest. Above us were the Olympic heavyweights of Liventia, Kelssek, Sargossa etc. But we've only got a population of 23 million. And half of them play cricket. What I thought was the most incredible last time was how we stood up to the previous champions of the pool: Vekayiu. We totally dominated the freestyle - winning the Men's 100m, Men's 200m & Women's 100m, as well as taking medals in the Men's 50m and Women's 50m. So it's just the Women's 200m in which Wray did not gain a medal. But it'd be a mighty surprise if we got that result again. Brendan Matthews picked up a side strain in a National Meet last month, and it is not known whether he is 100%. Grace Spencer has had a so-so season coming into the Games, a handful of domestic medals but a few noticeably sub-standard performances. But the efforts of the 'Golden Two' have opened the door for a number of new, young names. Tom Symonds, the young freestyler from Albion, who dominated the University swimming scene for three years, has come through to challenge Matthews in the freestyle. Grace Spencer has a new competitor, in the form of 27-year old Marie Stokes. A fiery girl from Robourne who swum amateurishly until a few years ago, when a change of technique unleashed a world-class swimmer. Jess Madigan, just 19, came through in the Backstroke, whilst August Everett swims in the Butterfly. Our relay teams are strong as usual, as well as the medleys, so we can expect to retrieve between 4 to 6 swimming medals..

Wow. This post is split up into two parts - swimming hopes, and everything else hopes. That's how we placed our eggs in their respective baskets. Elsewhere, there are in fact some decent hopes for us in other events. Not a lot of them off the water, granted, but still some. Last time we took medals in Athletics, Boxing, Judo and Cycling, so we can do stuff out of the water. In Athletics, Chrisitan Pollock has a decent chance in the 800m, a race which isn't quite short distance, but isn't quite long distance, so they call it 'middle distance'. But apparently it's an absolute bugger of a race, so credit to him for being so good at it. Andrew Poulsen in the 400m Hurdles, another barmy event, could have a decent shot. Sprinting in Wray has a new face, that of 20 year old Amelia-Jane Havermann, who may or may not be Uitbregeni (and moved when she was 16 and qualified to race for Wray last year. But since then there's been no going back. Two national records in two races during the season indicated that she was a serious talent. In the world's silliest sport, Pole Vault (I mean come on guys, it's literally a pole, thrown into the ground, and climbed. It's bananas), Jessica Vermuelen has a chance. As with last time, Wray have a decent shot in the Women's Heptathlon. In Orean, Anna Sharner led the tournament for the six of the seven events, but an appalling Javelin throw (I think) cost her the gold. She comes back to compete in The Kytler Peninsula, as well as her understudy, 24 year old Bella Shaw, and they'll both look to get on the podium.

In the ring, Scott Rose is very good at punching people till they fall unconscious, so now he's hoping to take this ability to the Olympics, where he'll hope to knock as many people as possible unconscious to try and win a gold medal. Jamie Whiteman could also provide a challenge in the Men's Middleweight. Canoeing, both sprint and slalom have always provided a bastion for medals outside of the swimming, and pretty much every entrant has a shot at a medal. Arthur McCallum, Tom Michaels, The Overton brothers & Blair Hamilton are all quality competitors. Olympic Road Race champion Sarah Grevan comes back to try and defend her medal. She's been in electric form on the domestic circuit, but has been very well supported by her team, have only have one other representative in the Road Race team for Wray, so whether she can perform as well will remain to be seen. Brendan Matthews new wife, Rohana Mills-Murray, has been advancing in leaps and bounds since the last Games, and now will be able to launch a serious assault on the Individual Dressage medal. Let's hope her horse manages to dance the right way. In Eventing Alexandra Tait, your typical upscale Cartersburg posh girl, also has a chance. The Men's Hockey team, led by the man-mountain Chris Warnes, have too come far since the last games, and now represent a real medal threat. As do the women's team, led by another woman who I didn't manage to please in Orean: Caitlin McLaughlin (we got into a battle on Tweeter about hitting the post against some horses). On the rowing lake, as with the canoeing lake (well, it's the same lake (I think)), every competitor has a chance, having come through a gruelling 3-month pre-Olympic training session at the National Rowing Training Academy, culminating in the National Rowing Trials which confirmed the squad. Both coxed Quadruple sculls will be in with a shout for a medal, whilst the Men's Eight is considered one of the best in the world. Olympic Champions Ashley Dean and Mitchell Cleary come back and defend their medal, and David Franks and Kieran Hassett will support them. So I'm going with 5-7 medals outside of swimming.

Today we have four tremendous athletes here to be interviewed by yours truly, me! The four are Annabel Gurieto-Nunez, Sabrina Wade, Chelsea Tang-Hudson, and Rendale Qureshi. Annabel, let's begin with you, other than being President, how has things changed from the last games in Orean?

Gurieto-Nunez - I believe that swimming comes first for me, I believe that I will get a medal in this Olympics and I will not stop practicing even though I made it to my second Olympics. I am honored to be in the Olympics for a second time and I will prove to the world that I'm the best.

Cameron - Honest, and true to your calm and serene nature.

Gurieto-Nunez - Angie, not trying to be cliched, but I really do believe that I have improved tremendously since the last Olympics both personally and physically and have what it takes to be the best Olympian ever.

Cameron - Sabrina, how has things changed for you?

Wade - I am the best, the greatest, O.K, that's too much to gloat on my abilities, but I am a tremendous athlete and a medal is calling my name. Forget about Laneth, I'm the best and greatest and I will pull my heart out to win a medal.

Cameron - Chelsea?

Tang-Hudson - I already know what you're going to ask me. I feel the same. It was bitter in Arcon and Orean. I cried a little when I didn't get a medal, but it has only made me grow as an athlete. I am the best and intend to make it that.

Cameron - Rendale, this is your first Olympics, tell me how does it feel?

Qureshi - It feels good and I am proud of it, I am very happy to be in the Olympics and I am proud of myself for being in the Olympics.

Gregoryisgodistan Olympic Delegation Preview, Part II

We pick up where we left off last time with the Gregoryisgodistan Olympic delegation review. We will start by reviewing the archers.

Soldier 7SZBHAHD will compete in the men's individual archery event. He is Gregoryisgodistan's best medal hope of either gender in archery. He is a veteran of the Second Hicana War where he paratrooped into Hicana and killed 97 citizens of Hicana before his ammunition ran out and he was rescued by another helicopter. He managed to escape before Hicana destroyed their own country, killing the remaining troops in the process. He qualified on merit for the Olympics.

Soldier VBAUXUJA will also compete for Gregoryisgodistan in the men's individual archery event. He has an outside shot at winning a medal and is Gregoryisgodistan's second best competitor in this event. His goal is to place in the Top 15, though he would love to win a medal.

Soldier VBAUXUJA is the youngest archer for Gregoryisgodistan at the Olympics, at only 18 years of age. This is supposed to be a learning experience for him in the hope that he will become better in later Olympic Games. Of course, like all soldiers, he has experience with shooting bows and arrows at military training as they can be improvised weapons. That is why soldiers were selected.

Lady Soldier PXJJAH13 will compete in the women's individual archery event. She is a lady soldier and is the second-best female archer on the delegation. She hopes to finish in the Top 20, though she has an outside shot at a medal. She also hopes to one day participate in an invasion of Saintland with the military to show them that women can do anything men can.

Lady Soldier USJJAJHSHS is a lady female soldier and will compete in the individual archery event. She is a lady soldier who is also working on a secret task force to invade Saintland. The army that invades Saintland will apparently be all female, just to prove a point. Then they will kill the King of Saintland and all members of the Royal Family. They will declare themselves to be the Queens then agree to an alliance with Gregoryisgodistan, and all heathens will be killed. For now though, she hopes to finish in the Top 25 of the event.

Lady Soldier CLAMPASI is a lady soldier from Gregoryisgodistan who will be competing in the women's individual archery event. She is the best female archer in Gregoryisgodistan and hopes to win a medal.

Slave Catcher ISAAIAI is a track and field athlete who will be competing in the men's 100 m race. He is a rather average runner who should finish around the middle of the pack. His day job is as a slave catcher, to catch runaway slaves and bring them to their master, the executioner, or the slave beater depending on what the slave catching order says to do. However, since scientists appear to have found a cure for drapetomania, it is possible that he and other slave catchers will be out of jobs soon. That being said, there have been rumored to be cures for years but slaves simply refuse to take them. Therefore, it seems likely there will always be work for slave catchers.

Slave Catcher KDKSKAPA will be competing in the men's 100 m sprint and men's 200 m sprint. He is faster than any of his teammates in either of the events, but is still not expected to medal. His better event is the 100 m. However, he could place higher in the 200 m - his skills are pretty close. He is also a slave catcher.

Slave Catcher 7182AXN5 will be competing in the men's 100 m track event. He is the third and final participant in that event. He will be looking to win a medal, though that seems unlikely. Ideally, he would finish in the top half of competitors. Like both of his teammates in that event, he is a slavecatcher. He catches slaves for a living. Good for him.

Loyal Friend of Lord Almighty Gregory Paul DeRiver and his brother Loyal Friend of Lord Almighty Gregory Chris DeRiver received wildcards into the men's 200 m track event for their loyalty to Lord Almighty Gregory. Neither of them are expected to seriously contend for a medal. However, they will be allowed to compete as a result of a lifelong loyalty to the Lord.

Loyal Friend of Lord Almighty Gregory Mark Pueg was also selected for the track team due to his loyalty. He will compete in the 400 m men's race. He is not expected to win a medal.

Pervert Chaser KSLLZMX is Gregoryisgodistan's sole middle distance male runner. He will compete in the 1,500 m run. His day job is as a pervert chaser. As part of this job, he chases down people who have committed crimes of a sexual nature, including rape, molestation, mooning, and indecent exposure, and proceeds to cut off their privates with a pervert cutting knife. This means both dickapitation and castration. He then turns the perverts over to the authorities for execution, fine, or slave labor depending on the offense. As a result of his pervert chasing, he is pretty fast over middle distances.

Dunce Cap Maker SHDHDHDH1381837 will be competing in the men's marathon. He qualified through his Top 4 placing in the Gregoryisgodistan Marathon. He will be joined by Military SuperGeneral Julius Rainier as well as Worship Leader Harry Haroldson and Cow Farmer JXHHHXHXA. None of them have much hope of winning a medal, though they all hope to finish in the top half.

Pervert Chaser LID8AHBAD will compete in the men's 110 m hurdles. His experience as a pervert chaser gives him plenty of experience running and avoiding obstacles so he hopes this will give him an advantage in this event. He is also prepared to attack any nudists, streakers, or mooners during the event, dickapitating and castrating them.

Pervert Chaser RYEYUSS will compete in the men's 3,000 m steeplechase. He hopes his skills chasing perverts will aid him as well. Sometimes he even had to jump into puddles, being careful to avoid stabbing himself with his pervert cutting knife. This skill should aid him in the steeplechase, where he will have to jump into water jumps.

Soldier AUSNXXBA will compete in the men's javelin throw and men's hammer throw. Throwing projectile weapons at enemies is a skill they teach in military training so this should come in handy. He hopes to finish in the Top 30 of his event. He is also prepared to attack any heathens who might deny Lord Almighty Gregory is God.

Gregoryisgodistan's Slavery And Pervert Problems

Gregoryisgodistani culture has significant issues with sexual crimes to the point several of their track and field athletes are Pervert Chasers. The problem is how brutal pervert chasers tend to be. They carry a knife specifically for the purpose of castrating and doing impromptu penectomies on male sex offenders ranging from streakers to mooners, nudists to rapists. This is of course done without anesthesia and often on the streets. It is unknown how many men are killed by pervert chasers in Gregoryisgodistan, but it's safe to say it happens on an annual basis due to blood loss and infection.

The other type of track athlete that is common is the Slave Catcher who chase after escaped slaves. Slavery is clearly a strong institution in Gregoryisgodistan given how many slave catchers there are. Some estimates say nearly one hundred thousand slave catchers in Gregoryisgodistan, but we have no solid figures from the Gregoryisgodistani government about how many people are actually slave catchers. There's a low estimate of about a million slaves in Gregoryisgodistan which suggests that there's one slave catcher for every ten slaves and that escapes are a nightly occurrence there. The only other country known to the Serbian Empire to have slavery this strong as an institution is Mauritania in northwestern Africa where ten to twenty percent of the population lives in slavery. It should be noted that only government officials can own them however.

The sign-up has been closed, and just a few weeks away before the Summer Olympiad started. Al-Mumtaz will be participating for the first time in this edition of Olympiad. Thanks to the newly-implemented Youth Development Act(YaDevA), the sports in Al-Mumtaz are growing rapidly, but because it is just been implemented, there is still no significant change in achievement, but a lot of young talents were discovered with this Act. Furthermore, the interest in sports that unheard before in Al-Mumtaz are also increased. When we are looking to the sporting history of Al-Mumtaz, there is nothing fancy there, and qualified to the World Cup is the best achievement for Al-Mumtaz and it has been a long time ago. So, what kind of surprise Al-Mumtaz will give to this Summer Olympiad? Can Our Holy Phoenix brings back a medal? For that, let's take a look in-depth Al-Mumtaz Athletes who are on the Al-Mumtaz Sporting Complex for a training camp before departing to The Kytler Peninsulae.

Overview :
Al-Mumtaz will be represented by a total of 119 Athletes and 41 staffs in 35 sports, the record-low in this edition of Olympiad i think. There are 70 male and 49 female athletes, this will be a new development, because before, female aren't allowed to take part in International sport stage. Thanks to the YaDevA, there are a lot of young athlete with bright future in there. The age is ranged from 12 to 31. The youngest is Star Phoebe from Woman Basketball and the oldest is Haikal Mustapha from Man Basketball, he also act as the Assistant coach to the team.

Then, let's take a look at each individual :
From Aquatic sports, Al-Mumtaz will be represented by these 3 males :
1. Saban Arche
He is 18 years old from At-Tajra City, in this Olympiad he will represent Al-Mumtaz at Swimming Men's 50m Freestyle. There is no high expectation located on his shoulder as swimming is still considered as a new sport in Al-Mumtaz.

2. Michael Petutini
He is still 16 years old and came from Syam City, he will participate in Men's 100m Freestyle.

3. Joe Suimer
He is still 14 years old, but considered as prodigy and maybe the best swimmer in Al-Mumtaz. He came from Port Falluan and it's not unusual for him to swim to the sea, his family is a fisherman so his life isn't far from water. He will participate in Men's Marathon.

The next one is Archery, this isn't considered as sport yet by ASF, but it has been practiced since ancient times and one of the important culture in Al-Mumtaz. In Archery, Al-Mumtaz will be represented by 3 Men and 3 Women.
1. Hasan Okamura
He is 23 years old hunter that came from At-Tajra City. He has been using Bow since 7 years old to hunt deer in Mandiga Forest. His ability to hunt deer is unquestionable but the ability to cope with the pressure hasn't been tested.

2. Michael Chain
He is 20 years old, son of the famous bow and arrow maker in Al-Mumtaz, Bauie Chain. He has been playing with bow since childhood and now helping his parents to test the bow they created. He maybe has a good chance to get something from this Olympiad.

3. Melcourne
He is 23 years old worker who win the Ancient Archery competition held in At-Tajra City. He has a bit problem with his concentration, but when he able to overcome the problem he has a good chance.

4. Watanabe Yuki
15-years old Prodigy from Qomr. Not much known about her but she was personally picked by soon-to-be Al-Mumtaz Archery Federation Chief, Baifon Khan. Whether because of her beauty or her skill, who knows.

5. Umeko Muriel
She is 19 years old and claimed to be Watanabe Yuki's rival, when she heard about the Yuki's recruitment for Olympiad, she forced the authority to let her go too. But, she is not all talk, after she showed her skill, the authority let her in.

6. Lucy Aida
She is 22 years old and said to be an ex-assasin who specialized in long-range assasination. No one knows the truth but she is never bringed to the court, so that rumor is just an unbelievable rumor. What she can do in this Olympiad still not known, but in her hometown in Arankar, her skill is renowned. Let's see her in action.

From these 2 sports, there are no particular target, but i personally think 2 medals will be a reasonable target. So, let's see how far they can go in their (and our) first olympiad.

Gregoryisgodistan Olympic Delegation Summary, Part III

Here is Part III of the Gregoryisgodistan Olympic Delegation Summary.

Lady Soldier IUS8128A will be competing in the women's 100 m and 200 m sprints. She is an average runner in both events, though the 200 m is her better event. She is a veteran of the Second Hicana War where she was in charge of flying the planes that dropped in soldiers and dropped bombs on the cities. She was responsible for much destruction.

Postal Worker AXNNAHS1823 will also compete in the 100 m and 200 m sprints for the women. She is a postal worker for the Gregoryisgodistan Postal Service. Her job is to inspect all letters for subversive material, and if any is discovered, to report both the sender and receiver to authorities. They, and their families, will be executed for their sins. However, sending subversive material to a government VIP to get them executed will invariably fail. Do not try it. You and your family will die. And we know who sent letters even if you don't put a return address. We have our ways.

Sex Slave FUUDUADJNFUBAR will compete in the women's 200 m sprint. She is terrible and is only competing for the amusement and pleasure of her master. That master shall remain anonymous.

Slave Beater SGAGXBBAAHHA will be competing in the women's 400 m sprint. She is a fairly fast runner. She is also in charge of beating her teammate, Slave PSIZAIIAIAAA912 if she does not practice for the event. She is a slave beater, after all. That's what slave beaters do.

Four women qualified for the marathon via placement in the Gregoryisgodistan Marathon. They are Journalist KLWBUUSUS, Pillowmaker 931IDDA, Cheese Police BDHFHFHA and Lord Almighty Gregory's New 994th Concubine. The new concubine replaces the old 994th Concubine, who defected to the Serbian Empire last Olympiad. The Cheese Police lady is in charge of making sure commoners do not eat cheese, for they are only allowed to eat gruel. If they do eat cheese, she takes them and their families to be executed.

Slave Beater HAKKBZA will compete in the women's shot put. She is an above average competitor who hopes to finish in the top half. She will even beat the slaves on the team in the hopes that they will do better.

Slave Beater TRAKXKA913 will be competing in the men's badminton singles event. He is joined in that event by Slave Beater PLXLXMANAA182 and Horse Beater AUXXA3A. They are all relatively average. The slave beaters beat slaves for a day job, while the Horse Beater takes part in Horse Beating entertainment performances where he beats horses with whips, maces, pepper spray, pistols, and other weapons for the amusement of the fans. Additionally, Horse Beater AUXXA3A and Slave Beater TRAKXKA913 will compete in men's doubles together.

Lady Military SuperGeneral Jill Clark will compete in the women's singles badminton. She commanded whole armies during the Second Hicanan War and helped them destroy Hicana. She managed to escape only a few hours before the suicide bombing that killed all soldiers but destroyed Hicana. She is lucky. She will be joined by Lady Military SuperGeneral Mary Murray who is in charge of commanding recruits at the academy. She is a tough commander and will attack the birdie like it is an enemy - viciously.

Slave Beater WEAXJXJAJA will compete in the men's light flyweight boxing. He is very good at beating slaves and often does it with his bare hands. In boxing, he imagines the opponent is a slave and uses this visual aid to help beat him. He does very well at it, as he is Gregoryisgodistan boxing champion in his weight class. That is why he managed to qualify for the Olympics.

Slave Beater ILLAMNA will compete in the men's flyweight boxing. He also imagines his opponent is a slave. He is a very brutal beater - he once fractured a slave's skull. But the slave was a slave and an escaped one at that so he deserved it. It is a shame more slaves aren't killed in the beating. At least that's what his master said. Slave Beater ILLAMNA may very well kill an opponent too.

Slave Beater LPXOISUSUS14 will compete in the men's bantamweight boxing. He is, like many of his boxing teammates, a slave beater for a day job. He is also known to be particularly brutal with the slaves, breaking one of their noses on average once every three days. Opponents should be careful he doesn't break theirs - or worse. He is very, very brutal.

Slave Beater XLALL812AYGS will compete in the men's lightweight boxing. I think you know the drill by now - he is a slave beater, he beats slaves, he beats opponents, slaves in pain, slaves cry, boohoo nobody cares about slaves.

Horse Beater 188NABBZBAHA is, for once, not a slave beater but he will compete in boxing, specifically the light welterweight category. He is known to beat horses with his bare hands, something most of the other horse beaters will never do. Beating up a human should be a cinch compared to that. He will just have to pretend the opponent is a horse.

Horse Beater 948183814777 is competing in the welterweight men's boxing category. He is just as brutal as his teammates, but better. It seems the Gregoryisgodistani boxers get better in higher weight classes. This horse beater could even win a medal, though he has but an outside shot.

Horse Beater 45912LU will compete in the men's middleweight boxing. He is known for taking on horses with his bare hands and killing them. (Not his bear hands, you stupid heathens from Bears Armed.) But back on subject, he is a very good boxer and frequently beats up humans in the boxing ring. He would do especially well against boxers from the Equestrian States or other sapient ponies, as would other horse beaters. But he is the best of the horse beaters.

Slave Beater NUXHAHAHAH will be competing in the men's light heavyweight boxing, which is an oxymoron. But Slave Beater NUXHAHAHAH is most certainly not a moron. He is a very skilled boxer and a very skilled slave beater. He has a decent chance of winning the medal and hopes to at least get to the quarterfinals. If he does, he will beat the boxing team's slave assistants in celebration. If he doesn't, he will beat them in anger.

Slave Beater 718PZLUZA is the second best Gregoryisgodistani boxer competing at the Olympics. He will be competing in the heavyweight category. He is a very imposing figure, standing 6 foot 7 inches and weighing 196 lb. He could very well win a medal, and he also hopes to reach the quarterfinals. He will not, however, beat the slave assistants as long as they do their jobs.

Enemy Crusher Krushy Burger is the first of several Enemy Crushers we will meet who will be competing for Gregoryisgodistan. Like all Enemy Crushers, he is a very heavy man and his normal job as an Enemy Crusher is to torture enemies by crushing them to get them to reveal information. They have about a minute of crushing to talk, or they die. Sometimes the Enemy Crushers will crush them anyway once they finish talking. Unlike most Enemy Crushers, Enemy Crusher Krushy Burger likes to punch his Enemies while Crushing them which makes them die sooner. Several Enemy Crushers play on the Gregoryisgodistani (gridiron) football and ice hockey teams, and have caused massive havoc crushing numerous players, coaches, referees, and fans during various tournaments. In fact, it was a fight between the enemy crushers on the hockey team and the Hicanans that sparked the Second Hicanan War. Neither of those teams will be competing in this Olympiad, but there are several Enemy Crushers competing individually, mainly in combat sports. They are all so heavy they can only compete in the super heavyweight category. Enemy Crusher Krushy Burger weighs approximately 475 pounds and will almost certainly be the heaviest (human) competitor in this event. He has promised to crush any referee or judge who does not allow him to win the match. Considering Enemy Crushers have crushed officials numerous times before when calls do not go their way, this is not an empty threat.

Slave Beater ATATXBXJA will be competing in the women's flyweight boxing. She is a decent boxer and hopes to win at least one or two bouts. She also beats slaves and is very vicious. She has even broken some necks.

Lord Almighty Gregory's 358th Concubine was sent by Lord Almighty Gregory to compete in the women's lightweight boxing for his amusement and pleasure. She is his concubine and would do anything he says out of love. She is below average but hopes to win at least one bout as a sign of love for her master.

Lady Soldier 8AXA8128HDBA is Gregoryisgodistan's best female boxer. She will compete in the women's middleweight. As a Lady Soldier, she parachuted into Hicana, shot a bunch of Hicanans, flamethrowered some more, and when all ammo ran out, killed 11 with her bare hands. Then she escaped in another helicopter and now she is a boxer. She hopes to win the gold.

"Your welcome. As the Olympics near again this year, there are many questions about how this year will be different from last year. One example is the lack of news coverage of the games as well as the horrible organization shown. How do you plan to improve this year."

"That is a good question, we definitely failed last year due to the fact on how ill we were prepared and the fact that it was our first Olympic games. Also, I may point out that Rizealand certainly is much better at Summer sports than Winter sports. We have had much more time to prepare and we have employed special agents to draft our athletes this year. We have very high hopes for these Olympics games.

"When exactly do the Olympics start and what is your itinerary?"

"The Olympics will officially begin on the 22nd but the Opening Ceremonies will start on the 21st. Our delegations will arrive the 18th of August and have a day of rest before the games."

"There are rumors that President Horiatio may be attending the Opening Ceremonies? Is this true?"

"In my knowledge, President Horiatio is definitely considering attending the opening ceremonies of the Olympic Games"

K: Oh yeah! Channel Four were looking for hosts for a new olympic show, so I auditioned.

K: Sure. They said I was a font of olympic knowledge, and the guy said he could build a whole show around my unique comedic talents.
J: Which are?
K: I'm not sure, but the guy said it would be an irreverent take on all things olympic. Whatever that means.

K: Well he said I could pick a co-host, and we always have such interesting talks about the olympics...

Gregoryisgodistan Olympic Roster Roundup Part IV

Here we are with Part IV of the Gregoryisgodistan Olympic Roster Roundup.

Navy SuperAdmiral Fleety Whizzala will be competing in the Men's C-1 canoeing. He was selected mainly for his loyalty to Lord Almighty Gregory, as he is one of the leading SuperAdmirals in the country. He has destroyed several Hicanan submarines along with his fleet. He will now be canoeing above water instead of shooting submarines underwater. He hopes to finish in the top half.

Navy SuperAdmiral Cap'n Ochoa will be competing in the men's C-1 200 m canoeing. He actually qualified on merit, though he would have earned a loyalty wild-card place if he hadn't. He is also a leading Navy SuperAdmiral who commanded fleets that destroyed Hicana. He used to be a Military SuperGeneral until he switched to the Navy. He loves Lord Almighty Gregory.

Penmaker 12XKAKXA will compete in the women's C-1 500 m canoeing. Her day job is as a penmaker, and her best achievement is making a pen that Lord Almighty Gregory used to sign the order that placed Saintland on the Enemy List. She is a decent canoer as she does it in her spare time. She hopes to finish in the top half and maybe make pens to give to everyone.

Horse Charmer IAKNXNA1 is competing in the equestrian individual dressage. His day job is as a horse charmer, where he charms horses into attacking slaves who misbehave. It is a public spectacle to see the horses attacking slaves who are chained down. Horse Charmer IAKNXNA1 is in charge of charming them. He will now charm the horses to dressage.

Horse Charmer L81823BXBA will also compete in the dressage. He also charms horses. However, these horses are designed to stomp on enemies' heads to torture them. Clearly, not all horse charmers charm horses for the same reason. However, during the Olympics, he will also be charming horses to do dressage.

Horse Beater PLXMAMAMA813 will also compete in dressage. He beats horses for a living just like the other horse beaters. He will be riding this one when he beats it to force it to do dressage.

Horse Charmer BAUUAUAUA is the fourth and final dressage athlete. He is actually the captain of the team and his full-time job is to charm horses to use them in equestrian dressage. However, he is still not very good.

Horse Charmer 0101010ALAALLALA will compete in the individual equestrian jumping. He was signed up by mistake after the Gregoryisgodistani delegation mistakenly believed the athletes were supposed to jump over horses. The hopes were that Horse Charmer 0101010ALAALLALA would charm the horses into going to sleep to make things easier, since that's what he does in his job, albeit for other reasons. Unfortunately, by the time they found out otherwise, it was too late to withdraw him.

Loyal Friend of Lord Almighty Gregory Murray Usada and Loyal Friend of Lord Almighty Gregory Murphy Reed were also signed up under the mistaken belief that athletes were supposed to jump over horses rather than ride them and make them jump. They will probably not win medals either.

Pervert Chaser YAUXA812 is signed up for the men's individual epee fencing. He has experience using swords to dickapitate and castrate sex offenders, so fencing should be easy. His dream is to win a medal, preferably a gold, then join along with the singing of "Gregory, Gregory, Lord Almighty" and dickapitate and castrate any streakers who try to disrupt him.

Pervert Chaser CBAUAU8128 is also competing in the men's individual epee fencing. He is also a pervert chaser with plenty of experience using swords to dickapitate and castrate. Therefore, he is expected to do very well in the fencing competition. His goal is also to win a medal. Perhaps two Gregoryisgodistanis will share a podium.

Pervert Chaser BANA01Q will be competing in the men's individual foil fencing competition. He is also a pervert chaser so he will also do really well. Streakers should be careful not to disrupt his matches or they will be dickapitated and castrated in the middle of the arena.

Pervert Chaser N571APXL is not a very good pervert chaser and has been put on probation twice for forgetting to dickapitate. He is competing in the men's foil but is a lot worse than the others. He hopes to medal but probably won't.

Pervert Chaser YAUXA812 will be competing in the men's individual sabre. He is the reigning Pervert Chaser of the Year and is expected to do very well in fencing. He is probably Gregoryisgodistan's best medal hope in that sport. He could even win gold.

In soccer, the men's and women's teams will both be competing. The (male) Foot Slaves will be sending a U-23 team with three overage players. However, there are also a few U-23 players from the senior national team. The Lady Foot Slaves will send a full senior team. However, since the men's team is currently participating in the Cup of Harmony, several of their players may be delayed in arriving.

Male Dancer 27VAU will compete in the men's individual gymnastics. He is a male dancer for his day job and should do decently in gymnastics. However, he is not very good truly and will probably not medal. He hopes to finish in the top half.

Male Dancer LSPS8813 is the best male gymnast in Gregoryisgodistan. He hopes to finish in the Top 20. He will probably not medal but could achieve his goal.

Sex Slave ABDBDBAJAJ will compete in the women's gymnastics. Unlike most of the sex slaves here, she actually qualified on merit, albeit with the permission of her owner. This is likely due to her experience performing gymnastic pleasures for her master. She will also compete in the women's team event.

Dancer 8812ZUAAY will also compete in the women's individual and team gymnastics. She is the best female gymnast in Gregoryisgodistan and could finish in the Top 15. She will probably not win a medal but has an outside shot at doing so.

Dancer LDKSJJASUS will also compete in the women's individual and team gymnastics. She is the second-best female gymnast in Gregoryisgodistan. She also hopes to finish in the Top 15. She will be one of the two leading gymnasts for Gregoryisgodistan in team event, though they all have to participate.

Lord Almighty Gregory's 615th Concubine will compete in women's individual and team gymnastics thanks to the kindness of Lord Almighty Gregory allowing her to travel. She is very loyal to the Lord and would never defect. She is the fourth best gymnast on the team and hopes to finish in the top half individually.

Lord Almighty Gregory's 691st Concubine is the worst individual gymnast from Gregoryisgodistan, yet she will compete in the team event too. She is Lord Almighty Gregory's concubine. She hopes to not finish last individually because if she does, she will be executed.

Sex Slave DUS85818481 will be the last women's gymnast from Gregoryisgodistan. She is a sex slave sent here for the amusement, pleasure, and love of her master. She will do both individual and team. She hopes to not finish last as well or she will be executed. Fortunately, only one of the two threatened with execution can finish last.

The Preview: Soccer

Both Llamanean teams have the potential to go deep at the Olympics. Let's take a look at them.

Men's Team

This is a dangerous team, composed of the best U-21ers that the Royals had. With the senior team tied up elsewhere and mostly ineligible, not a single O-23 player was included. The team's flexible 1-3-2-2-2 could tide them well on defense, but with no clear center-forward and far too many winger-like players, it could damage their hopes on offense.

Keeper-wise, Reginald Apostaza, the twenty-two year old, should be good enough - Apostaza is a NT hopeful and has the potential to go far as a jack-of-all-trades and to scrap with Jared Carter for the starting position, although he's still shaky and inconsistent under pressure. Benjamin Matthews is good on PKs and we could see #74 in #1 out (118') if they make it to the knockouts and need to go to penalties, but otherwise he has far less potential and has already reached his ceiling. Defensively, the starting halfbacks Valdes, Mather, and Bale have experience on the pitch together and complement each other to form a flexible, punishing, back three in front of the athletic Joseph Ferguson, while defensive midfielders Westbrook, who tends to push up as more of a center midfielder, and Thompson, who can stay back and jumpstart the offense when he's on it.

Offensively, both Ferguson and Thompson can start plays, while midfielder Anthony Player is the stepping stone. While the LM position in a 1-3-2-2-2 sounds like a winger, Player is the archetypal center halfback, while Sebastian Inriquez fits the venomous attacking stereotype with ease. McKenzie and Ferguson would be solid inside-rights if they played in the sixties, but expect the tag-team to work carefully and often find themselves setting up Inriquez, although both are capable of thrilling runs through the box.

On the bench, a camaraderie-full spare parts bin is developing. On the defense, Kyrinsport, Bayer, and Cummings form a devastating line that often finds itself at midfield, Havrinsen can play any position but keeper, Wilfred and Courier are more archetypal halfbacks than the deadly Inriquez and are useful for a change of pace, and strikers Mayor and Lorenzo are deadly on the penalty spot.

Women's Team

2-3-3-2, the famous W-M formation, is what Erik Valdespin is trotting out this time around, is known for its unique balance and versatile flow. Valdespin has no shortage of good players to back it up either. Bethany Jordan and Sam Inriques are equally unstoppable, with the more athletic Jordan getting the nod. Erin Hendricks and Ashley Jimenez are quick and agile and can jumpstart the offense, although defensive mids Chen and Nye tend to do more of it. In the center mid position, Adrienne Forester is brilliant, a linchpin of the team and able to play both defense and offense. Sara Reykjavik and Alex Vytia, meanwhile, are flexible wing halfbacks who can score with ease, Vytia especially dangerous with runs through the box. Jen Eden seems to be more of a wave-keeper who can track down scattered clears and send them back into the box, where vicious strikers Erin Berg and Abby Christensen, Berg dominant inside the box and Christensen versatile and dangerous on set-pieces, can pound them in.

Costakis and Pederssen are both defensive role-players who have great chemistry with the starters, while Schumaker, Lieber, and Noviyja are vicious wingers, with the exception of Schumaker, who tends to play back and jumpstart runs more often. Gordon and Zhou are conservative for the position, tending to hang back outside the box and pound shots in.

Both teams are dangerous and versatile, with potential to make a deep run into the tournament. How will they do? There's only one way to find out.

'Are you sitting comfortably? Good. Then we'll begin.' Grant Mickelson waited with bated breath at the back of the meeting room as the opening clip played of the video that he had spent months crafting. The Euran Athletic Federation didn't mess about with their promotional material; the PR department had a budget for it that had accounted for more money than some of the very smallest countries had spent on training their athletes in the first place. The advert began with a montage of deserted sporting venues across Eura being used by famous Euran athletes by themselves, the stars, the poster boys and poster girls of Eura's attempts at winning medals in Zube and Kytler Bay City. The various members of the cabinet of the EAF waited eagerly as the voiceover finally began, ending the tense build up phase of the promotional video that Grant feared might put them off before it had even got going.

Who is Eura?

The shot cut to a male swimmer doing long laps, with his blue and gold cap poking up above the water.

Eura is Nick Smith, gold medalist and the Poseidon of the pool in the marathon swim.

Then, two archers, male and female, standing side by side and staring at each other, before turning to the camera and raising their bows to aim at it.

Eura is Tim Sprail and Emma Hoskins, ending years of Euran hurt in the old huntsman's game.

Cut to two badminton pairs playing a competitive game. A slowmotion shot catches one, John Camper, sliding along the hard gym floor to save a point.

Eura is its badminton stars; Camper, Bright, Koan, Golding. Masters of the court.

Next came two boxers coming to blows; one a massive titan, one a smaller but nevertheless impressive physical specimen with masterful technique.

Eura is the hard nosed fighters, Grassus and Mallory.

The executives began to nod in approval at what they were seeing as two of Eura's most prolific athletes appeared, along with a comic moment introducing another giant of Euran cycling.

Eura is the brothers in arms, Chad and Luke Wild...and Glenn Gallaway, slightly behind.

They chuckled at this good natured joke after Gallaway's misfortune in the biggest national race, the Tour of Eura. Appearing next and somewhat out of place, a posh bloke on a horse - Marcus Toffington looking rather stylish.

Eura is the benchmark of class.

Four fencers came up next, dueling each other simultaneously in a showpiece fake fight that was obviously nothing like the actual sport. To be precise they were Sarah Dennis, Francesca Hunt, Anthony Rash and Brandon James, Eura's four big medal hope fencers.

Eura is the edge of the blade separating the victors from the victims.

The executives jumped as a net billowed in the screen. Now the epic music was kicking in as a footballer strode up to pick the ball out of the net.

Eura is Charles Hunter, and all of its practitioners of the beautiful game.

This theme continued for another minute, making it a long promotion but snappy and stylish enough to keep it interesting. It trooped out Hannah Mattinson, the much loved 19 year old gymnast who won gold at just 15 in Orean. Featherstone and Storm, the judokas. Gordon Sand, the headstrong pentathlete. Warren Potter, the battling lone wolf of rowing who took gold in Orean. Andy Everett, the five medal winning sailor who knows not the meaning of sensible scheduling. These mentions were all accompanied by a rising theme in the background, as the momentum built towards the end. Next appeared the "Dream Team" - Eura's nigh unstoppable team of shooters, almost all of whom were ex-military. Veterans Alan Simonsen, Max Coulthard, Maxine Grillo, Lucas Marshall and Mike Fannon marched towards the camera, various weapons slung over their shoulders, followed by the young generation of Kelly Hampden (already a gold winner), Danny Shaw and Lydia Cross.

Eura is the marksmen and women, who will hit every target.

The wincing faces of Weylon Sinclair and Roger Big, Eura's first gold medalist, stared down the executives from the screen next.

Eura is the stronk...we mean, er, strongmen, who will lift the weight of expectation off of their shoulders.

The wrestlers then got their debut; Ralph Finn, Craig Caudle and Julia Watt.

Eura is the brawlers, who will wrestle gold into their hands through a titanic struggle.

Finally, the music reached a breathtaking crescendo as the executives sat in stunned amazement. Here came the golden moment - Eura's track and field athletes. Barber, Hargreaves, Bridge, Cole, Patel, Marshall, Hand, Hemmington, Sharp, Skinner, Lash, Opra, Thibault, Nutt, Thorpe, Shoff, McDermott, Simms, Jones and Dico...led by the three superstars draped in the blue and gold banner. Matthews. Howland. Ashton.

Eura is the athletes. In fact, its more than that...its the people. Team Eura is made up of the lifeblood of the nation. Its best and strongest. But they are just a part of the fabric of a greater whole. When they go out to the Kytler lands, where they will do battle for the greatest prizes of all, they will need the beating heart of the nation to power their bodies through to victory...they will need you.

Euran's! Stand up and be counted. Support your team, in whatever way you can, and we will triumph...because it isn't just the taking part that counts.

A dramatic cut to black ends the advert as the entire Olympic delegation walks towards the camera in slow motion with a storm gathering above a now full stadium. Then fading in, the logo of the Euran Athletic Federation. Grant's heart trembled a little bit as he realised he'd done it. The various executives, PR guys and cabinet members, some corporate dregs but some former athletes and advocates of sport and recreation, whooped and cheered as the promo finished. 'That was fucking phenomenal, Mickelson! I was hard thirty seconds in and it still hasn't gone! You're getting a pay rise, kid!' Grant laughed off the joke, but he hoped he would. He might have spent a lot of money, but if that didn't generate Olympic hype in Eura, nothing would.

Over the last few weeks the signs that something big was looming just over the horizon have been hard to mistake. Across the many islands and territories that comprise the Greater Sargossan Republic huge images, depicting the likes of Adriana Abarca, Juan Verzeri, Matías Almeida and Adriana Oquendo, have been appearing throughout cities and towns and a promotional piece of Sargossan Olympic highlights from Orean, intercut with a mixture of Bodyrockers’ ditty ‘I like the way’ and segments of SargoSport’s Orean commentry, has been getting an awful lot of air time throughout the nation’s television networks. There’s a sense of anticipation in the air. It must be time for an Olympics.

It takes an awful lot to bring the disparate parts of mighty Sargossa together but somehow those few weeks of the Summer Games manage to do it. Football will always, for better or worse, be our national game but even that can’t compete with the festival of sport that will soon put the Kytlerian capital right at the very centre of the sportiverse. Fan zones will be set up to create a fortnight long carnival atmosphere for those not lucky enough to get tickets for the Games themselves, the Twittersphere will talk of little else and a nation of billions will be enraptured. Because we just love the Olympics.

In fact the Games have proven to be something of an instrument for social change in recent years, with more Sargossans involved in sport than ever before. ‘Gone are the days when the only exercise the average man on the street got was lifting another burger to his face.’ Sports Minister Domingo Orbina quipped. ‘Now people are out there getting involved. They’re running, they’re swimming, they’re playing football or volleyball or tennis. It’s great to see. And with that enthusiasm, coupled with the infrastructure we’ve put in place for those who have the capacity to compete at the elite level the sporting future should be pretty bright.’

And the hope is that the sporting now will also prove to be bright as the hundreds of sportsmen and women, the coaches, the medical staff, the equipment managers and the dignitaries make themselves at home in the accommodation laid on by the Zube organisers and prepare for what is to come. There were forty one medals won in Orean, seventeen of them were glorious gold. Which proved good enough for an impressive sixth place in the final medal table. But Orean is in the past, now it’s all about Zube. It’s all about the battle to rule the pool, it’s about the sprint tussles with the Eurans, it’s about the black, white and blue flying high over that Olympic Stadium. Let the Games begin.

This year, Sauceistan is happy to announce that we will be sending a delegation to the Games of the IX Olympiad. Economics Director Jill Yerer has finally approved the funds to send a small group of athletes to Kytler Bay City. This will be Sauceistan’s first participation in any international sport program. Should this go well, we will consider sending a larger delegation to future events.
16 athletes will be sent to participate in 13 different events, with 26 individual entries. Sauceistan originally chose only to send athletes participating in aquatic events. They are as follows:

Finally, based on the government’s intitiative to encourage children with disabilities to pursue their goals, Sauceistan will also be sending Kyle Underling of Stockhim, Rine, who will be participating in the Men’s 100m. Kyle has two prosthetic legs, but we believe Kyle could have a chance to do well in his event.

All athletes will be wearing red uniforms with Sauceistan’s flag on the front shirt (male swimmers will have a star on the sides.) Athletes will depart August 19th at 12PM from the Noring Harbor International Airport, where they will recieve a handshake from Executive Director Jon Joninson before departure. They will remain in Kytler Bay City for the duration of the games.

Congrats to all the athletes who have recieved the honor of representing our nation! We hope our delegation represents Sauceistan well, both in and out of the stadium. We also hope you will tune in to watch them compete!

Gregoryisgodistan Olympic Roster Roundup Part V

Here is Part V of the Gregoryisgodistan Olympic Roundup.

The men's handball team, nicknamed the Hand Slaves, will compete at the Olympics for the first time. This team participated in the last HWC, which was hosted by Gregoryisgodistan. They were all slaves at the time but they have been liberated as a result of their performance. They are still the handball team though. They are not very good and will likely not win a game. It will be lucky.

The men's and women's field hockey teams, known as the Stick Slaves and Lady Stick Slaves, will compete as well. They, unlike most teams, are actual slaves. They do have position specialties but there is no regular lineup. Whoever is most obedient that day will start. It is likely neither of them will win a game.

Slave Beater CCJA9128A will compete in the men's 60 kg judo. He weighs in at 126 pounds and is a strong slave beater in spite of his small stature. He also does judo in his spare time at the Community Center and is the best Gregoryisgodistani in his weight class. His goal is to make it to the quarterfinals.

Soldier XXXUAUA1218481 will compete in the men's 66 kg judo competition. He weighs in at 143 pounds and is a veteran of both Hicana Wars. He is a true Gregoryisgodistani hero who frequently wrestled and killed Hicanans with his bare hands as well as with weapons during the Wars. He fights to the death sometimes but always wins. He could very well medal, but his goal is to get to the quarterfinals.

Soldier PSOUU12 will compete in the men's 73 kg judo competition. He weighs in at 158 pounds and is a veteran of the Second Hicanan War. He is the worst male judoka competing for Gregoryisgodistan at these Olympic Games, but he still has a fighting chance of getting to the Round of 16, which is his goal. He also hopes to break the neck of any opponents from countries on The Enemy List.

Soldier MDUUUA81381 will compete in the men's 81 kg judo competition. He weighs in at 168 pounds and is a brave, noble soldier who fought both Hicana Wars. He loves to bring death to the Enemy and fight to the judo. He is the second best judoka for Gregoryisgodistan and hopes to win a medal.

Soldier L12UANX will compete in the men's 90 kg judo competition. He weighs in at 196 pounds and is a very strong judoka. He expects to make the Round of 16. That is his goal. He also was a reserve for both Hicanan Wars but never fought.

Soldier LSMAPXAU1341 will compete in the men's 100 kg judo competition. He weighs in at 217 pounds and is a veteran of both Hicanan Wars where he killed hundreds of Hicanans, some with his bare hands. He will kill any Hicanans who he faces. His goal is to reach the quarterfinals.

Enemy Crusher Fatty Krusherz will compete in the men's +100 kg judo. He weighs in at a whopping 512 pounds, and is really heavy like most Enemy Crushers. This makes the crushing easier and more painful. He is also the best judoka in Gregoryisgodistan and could very well win the gold medal. He says that if he wins the gold medal, he will crush the referee in celebration, and if he is eliminated, he will crush the referee as punishment for not calling the calls so he wins. Enemy Crushers like Enemy Crusher Fatty Krusherz should be feared, and he is certain to instill a fear in the opponent with his huge size. He could kill them if they don't submit.

Lady Soldier 131499AS will compete in the women's 48 kg judo at the Olympics. She is not expected to win a medal but since Gregoryisgodistan received two places in women's judo due to the performance of their Enemy Crushers on the male side, she decided to participate.

Sex Slave 9491041049148 will compete in the women's 52 kg judo. She is a sex slave participating for the amusement and pleasure of her master. She will likely lose her first bout.

Clown 0813UUXB will compete in the men's modern pentathlon. He is an actual clown and will compete in his clown costume. His goal will likely be to entertain the fans rather than to win, so he could very well finish last. But expect pies to be thrown in the faces of opponents and officials, confetti to shoot out of his gun during the shooting stage, and other weird, amusing stuff. After all, he is a clown. That's what clowns do. He has a big red clown nose, a rainbow afro, and a red, black, and gold striped one-piece costume. His stage name is Clowney the Clown.

Loyal Friend of Lord Almighty Gregory Dack Pettite is also competing in the men's modern pentathlon, and unlike his clown of a teammate, he actually has a chance to win. His best event is swimming, followed by running, shooting, fencing, and equestrian. He hopes to finish in the Top 15, and maybe, just maybe, win a medal.

Lady Soldier POSUAUDUD will compete in the women's modern pentathlon. She is a lady soldier and her best events are, in order, shooting, fencing, running, swimming, equestrian. She has a chance of finishing in the Top 20, which is her goal.

Soldier YWUAXAJAYAK will compete in the rowing men's single sculls. He is rather average but is the best rower participating for Gregoryisgodistan. He hopes to finish in the top half.

Slave HSHAHD and Slave 3029A9DAUF will compete in the men's double sculls. They are slaves sent here to fill spots and get in better shape to serve their masters. They will likely not win a medal or come close.

Slave IDIVBA and Slave I4IA8D99A will compete in the men's lightweight double sculls. They are participating for the same reason as the other slaves. They are also bad.

Cow Farmer OPXLLNNA/, Slave P9239ADADJ, Slave CCC88138A and Soldier P1399ADAJ will compete in the men's quadruple sculls. The slaves are participating for the same reason as the other slaves, and Cow Farmer OPXLLNNA is participating because they could only find three slaves so they kidnapped a lowly cow farmer to participate. They won't win a medal.

Fickle to Formidable in Five Years: Vekaiyun Olympic Preview

ZUBE - It may be difficult to envision, but four years ago, the Vekaiyun nation sent out its first delegation, not entirely sure as to how well it would perform. Frankly, general sentiments in the nation were jubilation at the nation competing on an international stage. Years before their first appearance, it would have been next to impossible to imagine Vekaiyu competing in an Olympics. Then-dictator Max Venavle was very much against such a notion, claiming that the games "detracted from more serious matters" and was "merely a sad showcase of freaks". Selvala McEva allowed Vekaiyu to field its first team in 2010, and seemed to support the move in the public eye. After the Vekaiyun civil war, documents surfaced that the former Vekaiyun premier was "under great duress" due to the newly-formed Vekaiyun Olympic Council forcing her hand. She felt that a poor showing by Vekaiyu would convince the world of its weakness.

But Vekaiyu prevailed with an 18th place finish, and the nation was pleased with its performance. After the civil war, current Premier Ikrisia Levinile initially divorced herself from the games, allowing the VOC to have whatever it desired without protest. This included Vekaiyun shooters finally making their appearance in 2011. They did not disappoint, bringing home four medals and proclaiming to the nation that their acumen in marksmanship was indeed admirable and not something to hide. Nevertheless, over the years Vekaiyu gradually showed the world what Vekaiyu already knew: they were great at aquatics. Suddenly, the world was taking note of their talented swimmers, their unusual spectator sports like underwater hockey, their fanciful aquatic arenas, and their fierce competitive spirit. One would assume a vulpine person wouldn't like the water based on preconceived notions of other furred creatures. But it couldn't be farther from the truth: Vekaiyuns love the water, and have for thousands of years.

Such notions are common with their results in Olympic competition: aside from 2011, Vekaiyu has either placed first or second in swimming medal totals in all years it competed. One should more or less expect the same from the nation this year. Leading the charge for Vekaiyun swimmers is flag-bearer Riyna McAves, a decorated athlete who has won three gold medals and one silver in Olympic play. Rumors have swirled that this Olympics may be her last, but she has been crafty enough to dodge the question when prompted.

"Well now I wouldn't say that," she replied in an interview on August 13th prior to leaving for Kytler Penninsulae. "But I do believe that the Almighty has blessed me, and will guide me to make the right decision."

The Vekaiyun female swimmers have consistently dominated the pool, racking up medals that underscore Vekaiyu's aquatic achievements. On the male swimmer's side, Vinsent Ivere is looking to return to the dominating performance he had in 2013 with his second Olympic Record set in as many years. After winning three medals that year, his total diminished to zero in the next. When asked if he was ready, Ivere gave his typical smile and shrugged it off. "I'm always ready," he proclaimed. "But sometimes my competition can be more ready, I guess."

Last year marked the third year in a row a Vekaiyun swimmer broke an Olympic Record. Ilo Yeskuviye dazzled opponents with his unusual but effective rhythm in the 200 meter backstroke. "It is what it is," Yeskuviye said after the event. The reason for his peculiar stroke is traced back to a farming accident from when he was eight. Still, it will be difficult to determine Olympic records this year, as the Council on Olympic Records (COOR) was disbanded following the various allegations the VOC waded through (no pun intended) in 2013. Updates on their tumultuous year and current state will be followed in a later issue.

Vekaiyun swimmers owe much of their success to the Vekaiyun speed swimsuit, which received a makeover last year. Perhaps the new look was responsible for besting their 2013 success by two medals, to win 13. V3 News Services carried a piece on the creator of the modern speed swimsuit and plans to have a follow-up piece on some of the newer developments by novel tailor, crafty entrepreneur, and former athlete Ankya Sikavistre.

Much like the Vekaiyun swimmers, Vekaiyun gymnasts had a great year last year, netting a record 12 medals in Olympic competition. The team came a long way from their stumbles in 2012, where the team was faced with botched routines, injuries, and harsh critics that placed them under a microscope during the entire competition. "Don't even mention the name 'Krytenia'," Stapen Skilusi said in an off-the-plane interview conducted by V3 News Services. The squad entered 2013 knowing full well that the pressure was on their shoulders, and they exceeded all expectations by taking five golds in international competition, despite 'team leader' Skilusi taking home only a bronze. Still, he is credited with the team's dramatic turn-around.

"He was always the guy in charge," admitted Yiisu Besatera. "Like a second coach, a guy you could talk to about things that you couldn't to anyone else. We just kind of leaned on him a bit. We like the fact that he's usually stoic and calm. He just doesn't allow [himself] to be rattled."

Perhaps the gymnastics team will repeat their dominance in 2014. Much like the swimmers and divers, they have enjoyed extensive funding by the VOC and Vekaiyun government in general, as those three sports are believed to be "most telling of the southern vulpine physique," as Ileskari Speaker Vinsent Uyaskovi said in 2012. That isn't to say other sports receive proper funding. But there are sports Vekaiyu has been known to be historically poor in. Rowing was one of those sports. It's not too terribly difficult to find out why: the vulpine frame just isn't built for that kind of strenuous activity. But if you look among the ranks in the Vekaiyun Olympic team, there's at least one athlete who has proven that fact to be a farce. Well, make that four. Last year, Vekaiyun rowers Reko Luvari, Enlil Isuleni, Mikhil Aseneli, and Vanse Kinisere took home the gold in the Men’s Lightweight Four, surprising pretty much everyone. Even V3 News was caught sitting on their hands, as they did not have the rowing event scheduled in their Olympics TV slot and had to insert it (awkwardly) in between gymnastics and swimming.

"[We] practice in the Eruli River," Enlil Isuleni said when asked if they were ready this year. "That's definitely worth a prime-time slot. Rowing in an unruly river! Do you think you'd be willing to put it in a segment if we bring a camera along?"

Vekaiyuns also showed gusto in cycling, which had previously been a sport dominated by fellow region-mate Kelssek. Last year, Vekaiyu took two golds and one silver. Leading the charge was Riyna Servichi, a native of the province of Skendia who was born practically on the border of Vekaiyu and Listonia. Listonia, which has yet to field a team, was more than happy with adopting her as their own. "I like them," Riyna, who has recently been on the airwaves sponsoring her charity to end hunger in the neighboring state, said to V3 News on Monday. Her charity, Ne Uslive, nes Isliverve, or No hunger, no problem was started in 2013 after her tour of Listonia revealed just how ravaged the state was after two major wars in the span of five years. "Really, the medal I won [in 2013] was the best thing that ever happened to me." Expect her to make a strong showing. A follow-up on her charitable successes will be reported in a future edition.

Don't worry - we haven't forgot about another typical Vekaiyun staple. Ever since 2009, Vekaiyu has proven to be a force in diving. Initially, it was worried that judges would have a difficult time scoring non-humans. Should they cut their tails off or leave them intact? Should they use a full-body costume to prevent the potential distractions of fur, or stick with their classic garments? Such sentiments reached a climax in 2012, when at the Seventh Summer Games Vekaiyun divers took home a solitary silver, with the Vekaiyun public quick to blame their lousy luck on a few judges, notably one from Kelssek. "No, no hard feelings," last-year gold medalist Ankya Suleri said. "Come on. It's us. We're Vekaiyun. We're always right and the world is always wrong. At least that's what we seem to say sometimes. I imagine it's a little comical for others across [The East Pacific]." Things weren't so jovial a few years ago, however, when even the VOC called for newer judges on the panel, even taking things one step further and throwing around the world "specist". Still, even the most fervent of fans will admit that the reason for the 2013 success in diving was due to the hard work and dedication of the Vekaiyun divers and not necessarily the judging panel relaxing their standards after being intolerant in 2012.

A surprise among those across the world (and Vekaiyu for that matter) has been Vekaiyu's success in Taekwondo. Taekwondo is not native to Vekaiyu, and only became popular after Max Venavle adopted it for his military. After returning from a world tour in 1994, the Vekaiyun dictator was amazed at how "deathly calm" the athletes were and how such a fighting technique was considered a sport. It is doubtful even the flamboyant Venavle would predict the success Vekaiyu has enjoyed in this "sport". Indeed, Vekaiyu has taken home at least three medals in Taekwondo since 2011, netting a gold in the sport each time. Viktor Islavasho has won gold in the Men's 58 kg for the past three years, and is looking to repeat his success for an unprecedented fourth year. "He is so fluid in his movements," his trainer Reko Ulevistre said to V3 News in a segment in April. "It's like he can turn his body into water. He truly has an indomitable spirit." During the April Segment, Fighting for Peace, we learned that the former Vekaiyun soldier is an avid horticulturist and enjoys tending to his gardens at his home in The Levenasi.

Boxing is another sport where the Vekaiyun strength is showcased. Much like Taekwondo and Judo, Vekaiyu, which sports an all-vulpine team, is limited by weight class. While the Liventian shut him out in the final match, it was still a close, riveting match that displayed the toughness of both athletes. The wrestler has vowed to beat him should they cross paths this year, and we selfishly hope they do in a gold-medal rematch.

Vekaiyun track and field events have always been a hodgepodge - every year the team produces a star that was predicted to fall well within the pack and amount to limited success. Last year it was Iseli Nalelo, who took gold in the women's high-jump, an event in which Vekaiyu has had mediocre showings in. Despite that, she was able to surpass the heavily-favored Carisa Corrales from Sargossa to net a second gold medal and six medals overall for Vekaiyun athletics. Ika Uleveri took her second bronze in three years in the heptathlon after winning a gold in the year before. She fully expects to better her success from last year. "The heptathlon really tests your endurance," Ika told V3 News during an off-camera interview. "I've taken up long distance swimming. I think it's actually helped me. Yeah, I know swimming's different than running, but you use muscles you wouldn't normally use, and it sort of compliments things I guess."

Despite all the predictions, hopefuls, expectations, despite the on-going wars in Dveria and occupation of Listonia, despite the hungry attitude of the athletes and unquenchable thirst for glory the Vekaiyun fans yearn for, despite the freshly-made costumes and uniforms, the Vekaiyun team will no doubt dazzle all who follow them this year. And that's it. With the strength being in cycling that might actually be done rather quickly with the likes of Mia Garkovich riding around. A year ago, she was an Onyx Marenisko replacement for Mirela Blagojevic who competed for the Serbian Empire last year. Now Mia is the lead cyclist and risen higher than the cyclist she replaced. Secondly, Mia actually spends more time on a BMX bike than on a touring bike for paved surfaces. It explains her success on mountains and hills to a degree given the nature of jumps on a BMX track require ample leg strength to both climb up and then clear with a jump that can be as large as 10 meters. However, she prefers the BMX for the thrill of jumping than anything else and only took to the World Tour of Cycling in hopes of making some money and proving that she could translate skills on a BMX bike to racing with a touring bike. Sure enough she did, although proving she was a liability in time trials and on flat ground due to the fact that BMX tracks aren't flat and most time trials are done on flatter ground.

The story of Schottic sport's poster girl Rebecca James, and her journey to the Olympics

The southern hemisphere winters of South Berwick were a challenge for even the toughest Schottic citizens. They were not the dry frosty cold of some of the inland parts of the Belisarian continent. They were wet and windy. It was the kind of sleet and rain that stuck to you, and the kind of wind the found its way through even the most tightly fastened jacket. It was half past four in the afternoon and already nearly dark. The grey marble effect sky moved like a conveyor belt over the town, as high winds propelled fresh rain clouds in from the Sea of Mallia.

Rebecca James was sat at the large bay windows of her parent's house looking out, down the hill, over the harbour and out to see. She was flying out with the rest of the Schottia team the next day and it would be the last time she would see the harbour for a while. She had been in the pool most of the morning into the afternoon. For that matter she had been in the pool for most of the last three years. This was going to be her Olympics. It had to be. In four years time she would be nearly twenty-four and unbelievably past her peek. Rebecca had cleaned up in all the domestic swimming meets, and four golds at the national championships. This added to a gold and a bronze at the AFS International in Anditia, made her one of Schottia's top athletes.

She got up and turned the light on, closing the blinds too keep out the winter night. All her stuff was already packed and in a pile on the floor. Four large bags. Two with swimming stuff and another two with personal belongings and casual clothes. It was amazing when you got down to it just how much stuff you needed for a trip like that. There came a soft knock at the door. It would be her father.

'Rebecca, honey.' He said coming in wearing his waterproof jacket, gloves and scarf. 'I just came to check and see if you needed anything from the shops while I'm out. Do you want anything special for your last dinner in Schottia.' Her father had been her rock through this whole endeavour. The one person she could always turn to. Had it not been for him taking her to the pool every morning before school then she would have never made it this far.

Ian, her father, had been the one to take time off when Rebecca was born. Her mother Fiona working as a lawyer for the Schottic government felt unable to take the parental leave either of them would have liked, so it fell to Ian to be the stay at home dad. Ian was then a graphic designer working for a comic book publishers, the idea had always been that he would stay at home for the first year then go back to work when Rebecca went to nursery. However it never worked out like that, as he took to parenthood more than he ever thought possible.

The pair's love affair with the pool had started when Rebecca was aged four months. What had initially been something to get them out of the house had become a regular occurrence, until aged eight, it became apparent that she actually had something special. Rebecca seemed able to win most of her swimming galas by a good few seconds and her instructor one day called Ian in for a chat.

"Mr. James, take a seat." Said the young woman, pointing to a part of the bench that ran the length of the pool. "Mr James, I wanted to talk to you about Rebecca. As we both know she is enjoying her swimming right now, and truth be told I've never worked with a more talented girl."

"Aye she certainly enjoys her swimming." Answered Ian wondering where this was going exactly. "Hard to keep her out ay the pool some days."

"Well I feel that she is capable of going all the way Mr. James. Now I need to talk to you about this because it's going to be a lot of work for you both, and Rebecca is verging on being to old..."

"Too old!" Ian remarked. "She's no even at high school yet."

"Well lots of the swimmers in the national team started training regularly from five onwards. But I think she is better than most of them. In fact with the right training she could be better than all of them."

It all started there. The very next day Ian and Rebecca were up at 05:00 to get her ready for her training session before school. That was the beginning, and ever since then the two of them had went through it all side by side. The whole journey.

'I'm okay dad,' she answered giving him a warm smile. 'I was thinking I might actually make pancakes in a bit, a treat for you and mum.'

'Don't be daft my love.' Answered her father tutting quietly. 'It's my treat, I'll make them for you. Now is there anything in particular you want on them?' Her father's only down side was also his biggest strength: he was always there. Probably far too clingy for most children, but Rebecca loved her father. She loved him the way he was.

'Do you know what dad?' She asked, pulling her own jacket from the hook on the back of her door. 'I will come with you, my last blast of South Berwick air before I jet off.' Her parents would be coming with her of course, however they were flying out separately a few days later. They had been booked into a hotel for the best part of two years already. There was no way they would miss their little girl's big adventure.

Rebecca didn't feel under pressure because of her swimming. She was confident in her own ability. She felt pressure because the media had for some reason made her the poster girl for the Schottic team. Flag bearer at the opening ceremony; god, what if she dropped the damn thing. She kind of felt like the whole country was expecting her to deliver. But then again that was what it was all about. Someone had told her once that it costs the state about 100,000 a year to cover her training and living expenses, maybe Schottia now wanted something back. Were the Olympics not about individual success though? She was sure she had heard that somewhere. It was about the competing, not the winning. Yeah right, dream on. Even she wanted to win; at all costs. But right now there were more pressing things at hand, such as making pancakes.

'Hang on dad.' She said following him down the stairs. 'I just need to grab my boots.'

Chef KUAIAISI83 will compete in the men's skiff sailing. He sometimes cooks for his employer on a yacht and has sometimes been in charge of sailing the yacht while cooking, so he has experience with it. However, he is not expected to win a medal.

Pencil Sharpening Slave IS8188CHA will compete in the women's one person dinghy at the Olympics. Her normal job is sharpening pencils for her dear master. However, her master has allowed her the freedom to compete in the Olympics out of the goodness of his heart. If she finishes last, she will be executed via impalement with sharp pencils.

Chef PA91928SBXA and Chef SIA8182A will compete in the women's two-person dinghy. They won the two-person dinghy race at qualifying and were qualified to participate. However, they are not expected to win a medal.

Goatherder LSK283281 and Slave JSUAU81A will compete together in the women's keelboat. They are also not expected to win a medal. Clearly, sailing is not Gregoryisgodistan's best sport.

Clockmaker USU1828AXB will compete in the women's sailboard at the Olympics. She is also not expected to medal. Every nation has bad sports and this is ours.

Soldier 1828APNA will compete in the men's 10 m air pistol in the shooting. Shooting is one of Gregoryisgodistan's best sports due to the strong military. Soldier 1828APNA is a veteran of both Hicanan Wars where he killed numerous Hicanans. He is just one of many shooters with a strong chance of taking home gold for Gregoryisgodistan.

Soldier XMMAMA18381PA will also compete in the men's 10 m air pistol for Gregoryisgodistan. He is not as good as his teammate but should finish in the Top 10 and could even medal. Can Gregoryisgodistan get two medalists on the podium? This is one of their best chances.

Executioner LALAPOETELLY will compete in the men's 25 m rapid fire pistol. He is one of Gregoryisgodistan's best medal hopes of the Olympiad and probably the best medal hope in shooting, which is saying something. He has executed people with guns before and now he can win meals with them.

Executioner KSKAXNXNANAN will also compete in the men's 25 m rapid fire pistol. He is one of the best executioners in the country but is not regarded as being as good as his teammate. His goal is to finish in the Top 10.

Soldier POOSOS will compete in the men's 50 m pistol. He is also an amazing shooter and a veteran of both Hicanan Wars. He has a very good chance of winning the gold medal. He was the second choice for flag bearer after Lord Almighty Gregory. Of course, Lord Almighty Gregory won in a landslide, but since he was forbidden from voting for himself, like all athletes, he voted for Soldier POOSOS, who got one vote.

Soldier LDMCNNA will also compete in the men's 50 m pistol. Gregoryisgodistan could potentially go 1-2 here because both soldiers are excellent in this event. Unfortunately, there are only two entrants so there won't be a sweep.

Soldier CBBABAYUSYYY and Soldier AUXNXAHAUUYDYD have each entered the men's 10 m air rifle. Relative to other events, this one is fairly weak for Gregoryisgodistan, though there is a good chance both shooters finish in the Top 15. Perhaps one of them can win a medal, but Gregoryisgodistan has better chances in other events.

Soldier JSJNXNAJAU and Soldier DUAKDHH will compete in the men's 50 m rifle prone. Both of them should finish in the top 10 thanks to their strong military shooting skill. They will simply pretend the targets are Hicanans or Sanctii and shoot them. That is their strategy in competition and it has worked.

Soldier GOAHXHA and Soldier CVBBB184D will compete in the men's 50 m rifle three positions. This is another chance for Gregoryisgodistan to come in 1-2 as both of them expect to be medal contenders. At the end of this event, there could be two medalists singing along with "Gregory, Gregory Lord Almighty" and bowing down to Lord Almighty Gregory with praise.

Soldier LCLNANUAUXU and Soldier PZLNXNA will compete in both the men's trap and men's double trap. They are both superb shooters and could win two medals each. Gregoryisgodistan hopes to show the world their strength in shooting by pretending the targets are the Enemy. They will then scream "Death to Free Republics" or something like that and shoot the target.

Soldier CABXBX and Soldier PSOXL will compete in the men's skeet. Soldier PSOXL actually had a perfect round in qualifying and could very well win gold. The other soldier is very good as well. Gregoryisgodistan could very well win a medal or two in this event, and possibly up to 10 or 15 in shooting.

Lady Soldier VNVA9193 and Lady Soldier BBANXNNSA will each compete in the women's 10 m air pistol. They both expect top 10 finishes and are both veterans of both Hicanan Wars. They like killing people in Wars and will pretend the targets are Hicanans. Creative visualization, they call it.

Lady Soldier S81838183A and Lady Soldier OAUSUSUS13 will compete in the women's 25 m pistol. This is a fairly weak event for Gregoryisgodistan, but maybe one of them will come in Top 10.

Lady Soldier LUZ91231 and Lady Soldier FFFEUEU will compete in the women's 10 m air rifle. This is another weak event for Gregoryisgodistan and one of the few shooting events they have no serious medal contenders in. These lady soldiers were in the reserves for the Hicanan Wars but never fought.

Lady Soldier DIUAUA and Lady Soldier DUANEKSKAK will compete in the women's 50 m rifle three positions. They each have an outside chance of winning a medal and should finish in the Top 15.

Lady Soldier A81838DHHDDHD and Executioner DUWWA will compete in the women's trap. Executioner DUWWA is used to shooting and killing fleeing targets so she will imagine the trap thing is an evil prisoner who blasphemed the Lord or said a certain fruity word.

Lady Soldier JNSNSNSNAU13 and Lady Soldier HCBFBABA are competing in the women's skeet. They will also use the trap shooters' techniques of imagining the moving target is an evildoer. This is one of the best ladies shooting events for Gregoryisgodistan.

Pervert Chaser SISISIA will compete in the men's singles table tennis alongside his teammates Pervert Chaser UDNAANANA and Chef FUFUFUD. Chef FUFUFUD will be in charge of cooking the gruel rations for the table tennis team while the two pervert chasers will dickapitate and castrate any streakers who disturb the event.

Seamstress 17288AXN will compete in the women's singles table tennis alongside her teammates Maid VHAH8138 and Maid VJAJ8841. Both of the maids work only for commoners, as government VIPs have slaves to do that job. The maids have offered to clean the tables for the competition beforehand but were rejected.

Pervert Chaser U18183 will compete in the men's 58 kg taekwondo. He is a recreational taekwandolete but will be lucky to win one match. He is simply not very good. Of course, if his opponent is nude, there will be big problems due to the dickapitation and castration. Streakers should not disturb his event.

Pervert Chaser KSU1830AXB will compete in the men's 68 kg taekwondo. He is much better than those in lower weight class, but still is fairly average. His goal is to reach the Round of 16. He probably won't medal either.

Slave Beater DJ8138ALA will compete in the men's 80 kg taekwondo. He often kicks slaves hard rather than beat them with hands and whip and is very brutal nonetheless. He could be an outside contender for a medal in the event and could injure opponents.

Enemy Crusher Sammy Porkerborker will compete in the men's +80 kg taekwondo. He weighs a whopping 403 pounds, which is still light for an Enemy Crusher. He likes kicking his enemies while crushing them. He will crush the judges if they decide the match against him, so they must not let it happen.

Police Officer A128DHBAA will compete in the women's 49 kg taekwondo. She is not very good but is an excellent police officer, arresting numerous blasphemers, fruity word utterers, and thieves. They were all executed.

Youth SJJ8138A is the youngest athlete in the delegation at 15 years of age. She will compete in the women's 57 kg taekwondo. She is also not very good but hopes to gain experience for next time and the time after.

Youth BFJAJAU13 is the second-youngest athlete in the delegation, also 15 years but 34 more days than her teammate. She is competing in the women's 67 kg taekwondo. She is the best female taekwondolete but still has little hope of winning a medal.

Youth KAKKNXBAB is the third-youngest athlete for Gregoryisgodistan. Her 16th birthday is the day of the opening ceremony. She will compete in the women's +67 kg taekwondo. She also has little medal hope.

Slave Beater AMMATTTESSS will compete in men's tennis. He beats the tennis ball like it's a slave. Usually this results in him over-hitting it but sometimes it lets him hit it well and hard. He will be lucky to win one match.

Lord Almighty Gregory is the head of state and official deity of Gregoryisgodistan. All citizens must worship him as a deity. His is competing in men's singles tennis where he has a chance of winning a medal. He is also competing in mixed doubles tennis with his wife (see below) Cleffie Martinez, who he forced to participate with him. The two of them also have an outside shot of a medal there. Lord Almighty Gregory will also serve as flagbearer in the opening ceremonies. He was voted by all his teammates unanimously, though he could not vote for himself so he voted for someone else in infinite kindness.

Goat Herder ALLAX8 will compete in the men's singles tennis. He is an average tennis player and his hope is to reach the Round of 16.

Loyal Friend of Lord Almighty Gregory Ezzra Corpeland will compete in the men's singles tennis. He was selected for his Loyalty to Lord Almighty Gregory and hopes to reach the Round of 32.

Cleffie Martinez is Lord Almighty Gregory's wife. Lord Almighty Gregory kidnapped her and forced her to be his wife but now she loves him for real and would never leave him under any circumstances. She will not defect, unlike maybe some of his concubines, who she is perfectly accepting of. Lord Almighty Gregory has once again forced her to compete in women's singles tennis and also be his mixed doubles partner. She will be lucky to win one match in singles, but they are a very good doubles team.

Sex Slave ZZZAAJAJ131 will also compete in women's singles tennis because her dear master thought she would look sexy swinging in a tennis dress. She might win a match or two.

Loyal Friend of Lord Almighty Gregory FunRun Turkey will compete in men's triathlon through his qualification at the Gregoryisgodistan triathlon. He is joined by Loyal Friend of Lord Almighty Gregory Harry Possibe and Navy SuperAdmiral Larred Baucher. Because commoners are forbidden from owning bikes in Gregoryisgodistan, only government VIPs can run triathlons. None of them are expected to medal.

Lady SuperGeneral Mercedes Benz Nall will compete in the women's triathlon alongside Lady SuperGeneral Kilda Santa Landa and Lady SuperGeneral Killdaguaya Balese. None of them are expected to medal, though they could kill Sanctii and Guayabalese per their names. It would be fun.

Soldier LAPXDIS13 will compete in the men's 56 kg weightlifting. He is only competing because Gregoryisgodistan won three spots but only two Enemy Crushers could participate in the heavyweight category. He is not expected to medal.

Enemy Crusher Fatty Weightylifty is competing in the men's weightlifting +105 kg class. He weighs 485 pounds and is very fat, big and strong. He is expected to be a medal contender and could crush opponents, win or lose. He likes crushing. Crushing is his favorite thing to do.

Enemy Crusher Porker Worker will also compete in the +105 kg weightlifting. He weighs 441 pounds and is also very big, fat and strong. He may crush opponents too, especially if they are from countries on the Enemy List. And if the refs call a foul for an illegal lift, he may crush them.

Soldier JAIA8182 will compete in the men's 55 kg wrestling freestlye. He is relatively average and hopes to win two or three matches.

Enemy Crusher Rufus Fatsus is also competing in freestlye wrestling, in the heaviest class. He weighs a whopping 561 pounds and might wind up inadvertently crushing his opponents even if he does not deliberately crush them. Crushing is also one of his favorite things to do along with wrestling and threatening to crush.

Soldier POLXLA will compete in the men's 55 kg Greco-Roman wrestling. He received a spot due to the strong Enemy Crushers earning Gregoryisgodistan an extra one. He might win one or two matches.

Last but not least, Enemy Crusher Furfus Fatsos will compete in the men's Greco-Roman wrestling in the heaviest category. He weighs 495 pounds and is big, fat, strong, and crushy. He will try to wrestle and crush his opponents and maybe even the refs. He is quite brutal and quite strong. He hopes to win gold then crush everyone watching the medal ceremony including the other medalists.

This year, Kannap has fielded the second largest Olympic delegation in Kannapian history. The Kannapian people are a people that are obsessed with the Olympic Games and there appears to be some promises coming out of this delegation and future delegations. This year, the Kannapian Olympic Committee put forth 38 individual athletes and five sports teams into this Olympic delegation. The Kannapian people are thrilled to have heard the reports that the Kannapian athletes voted beloved national tennis star Briana Powell as flag bearer during the Parade of Nations. Now, let us take a look at some of these athletes and teams that Kannap has put forth this Summer.

Kellen Carlotson - 10,000 meter run
Kellen Carlotson is a new face in the Kannapian athletics world. He quickly came into storm out of high school and into college, and the 19 year old is looking to get a medal at these Olympic Games. He finished first place in the 5,000 meter Olympic trial in Pembelbrook, Kannap, seven months ago to be determined that he would be going to these Olympic Games. He was proud to have finished first. He went on, the next week, to try and make his place in the 10,000 meter Olympic trial, but fell short in second place, when only the first place man would advance to the Games. However, this failed to dampen Carlotson's mood, he was looking forward to making it to the Olympics and putting his name in the contention for winning the medal available in the 5,000 meter race. We believe that Carlotson can get forward in the race and win the gold, though we will be sure to see him bring home the silver or bronze. Only time will tell, however, he has been training harder than the rest of the runners on the Kannapian delegation, and he has shown more dedication than that of any other runner in the nation of Kannap.

Max Caldwell - Marathon
Though we expect Kellen Carlotson to be the star Kannapian runner, we can expect a great deal from athlete Max Caldwell. This is also Caldwell's first Olympic Games and he has been training hard for these Games. Caldwell is one of three marathoners coming to compete in the Men's Marathon event. He placed first at the Kannapian Olympic Marathon Trial, and he has been training hard for this moment for years. This 20 year old has been running since he was 7 years old and it has been his dreams to make it onto the Kannapian Olympic Team and to bring home a medal for the Kannapian people. We have not seen what competition he is up against, but we predict that Caldwell will at least bring home the bronze for his nation. Caldwell is one to surely make his people proud.

Howard Johnson - Modern Pentathlon
Howard Johnson is not a new face to the Kannapian people, he attempted to make it to the last Summer Olympics, but was not successful at the Kannapian Olympic Modern Pentathlon Trial. He had placed fourth, two places short of attending the Games. However, he remained in Kannap as a substitute and continued to train as a Kannapian Olympic athlete to be able to come to these Games. At the Kannapian Olympic Trial for these Games, he placed first. Johnson, at age 23, is a force to be reckoned with. He is here to show the world that Kannap will make a name for itself at these Games. He is here to show that the Kannapian people are a proud people and he wishes to bring home any medal for the Kannapian people, but especially a golden medal. Barbara Wayland - Modern Pentathlon
Barbara Wayland is another force to be reckoned with. Younger than her male counterpart, she is still a highly skilled athlete and shows just as much dedication and determination. She has even beaten Howard Johnson in Kannapian competitions. She went on to the Kannapian Olympic Modern Pentathlon Women's Trial and placed first with great ease. She was moved on to the Kannapian Olympic team with great excitement and her coaches have voiced that they believe she can bring home the gold medal in the Women's Modern Pentathlon. She has been training for seven years in the events of the Modern Pentathlon to become skilled enough to make it to the Olympics and bring home a medal. When we spoke to Barbara, she responded, "I really want to bring home the gold for my fellow Kannapians at home, but I will be very happy if I win the silver or the bronze. Because second or third best in the world is much better than sitting on the couch at home." We predict that Wayland will win the gold medal in her beloved event.

Briana Powell - Tennis: Singles and Doubles
Briana Powell is Kannap's most beloved tennis player, and she has made a great name for herself and her nation on the world stage. She has won many tennis tournaments in Kannap and placed high in tournaments around the world. She is expected to fair well at these Olympic Games. Alongside teammate Samantha Howell, she will be competing the Women's Tennis Singles and Doubles events and we expect her to take the gold in both. Briana Powell is not expected to disappoint the Kannapian people. At 22, Briana Powell has made tennis a well respected sport in Kannap and has even helped the sport become the national sport of the nation. Tennis is beloved in Kannap and Briana Powell is the face of the sport. We predict that Briana Powell will bring home the gold in both her events.

Samantha Howell - Tennis: Singles and Doubles
Samantha Howell is one of Kannap's most beloved athletes, second to only Briana Powell. At age 19, Howell is expected to come in like a storm into these Games and she is expected to leave with two medals - one in each of her events. Alongside teammate Briana Powell, she is expected to win the gold medal in the Women's Tennis Doubles event. The Kannapian people have full faith in her and Briana. Samantha Howell has been playing tennis since she was 4 years old, and she has been training to go to the Olympics since she was 8 years old. She has worked hard for over ten years to bring home two medals. We predict that she will bring home the gold with teammate Briana Powell in the Women's Tennis Doubles event, while bringing home the silver or bronze in the Women's Tennis Singles, with Briana Powell having the gold, of course!

Kathi Betsold - Triathlon
Kathi Betsold, one of Kannap's triathletes, surprised the nation when she placed first at the Kannapian Triathlon Olympic Women's Trial. She was sick in the week leading up to the trial and the day of the trial, but she battled the flu and finished first place to make it onto the Kannapian Olympic team and coming to these Games. Kathi Betsold has won 90% of the triathlons held by the Kannapian Triathlon Association in the last six years. She has been competing in triathlons since the age of six and she has hoped to make it to the Olympics since the age of eleven. She has trained hard and with dedication and determination to make it to these Games and her training has yet to cease. She is prepared for these games and geared up to bring home the gold medal. We predict she'll come out of these games with either the gold or the silver, and she will make the Kannapian people proud.
