World Bowl XXIV - Signups [CLOSED]

Let's get ready to rumble!

1) Sign-ups
To sign-up for the Twenty-Fourth World Bowl, simply post your intentions to compete in this thread.

Puppet Policy
For non-first-time participants, you may sign up a second nation, or a 'puppet'. To sign up a puppet: post with that nation, making it clear that it is a puppet, then confirm that it's yours with your master nation. Or mention your puppet in your master nation's post and then confirm with your puppet. Just make sure you confirm that both nations are yours. Be warned that puppets will be the first to go if the host needs to cut nations to make the numbers work.

2) Host Bids
As those already familiar with the competition know, we need a host for this shin-dig. How do we get that host? By interested nations posting host bids. A good host bid should contain scorination information, proposed format of the competition, maybe some IC background information, and a little bit of writing on the subject of why you should be host (IC and OOC info, for preference). You can write host bids from an OOC or IC voice; that is your choice. You can see the winning bid from the last cycle for reference. Once the deadline for hosting bids to be submitted has passed, we will vote on who will host World Bowl XXIV (and possibly BoI XVI).

The deadline for host bids is Sunday, August 10th (EDT). Ideally we'll have the World Bowl started by the start of September or thereabouts, depending on if a BoI is held, which will require the entry of 16 users new to the World Bowl.

A check of their post history shows that yes, SOC is BoI eligible. However, Estenia is not.

However, puppets aren't counted toward the BoI count. We need 16 non-puppets to hold a BoI.
