With that, please take time to post your rosters and roleplays. Please take the time to skim this if you're new or haven't already.

The Roster is essential to roleplaying. Maybe your right midfielder is fighting your goalie. Maybe your star striker has gone berserk and scored seven goals in three games. Perhaps your center back tripped over his own shoelace and is now nationally ridiculed. Who are these folks? That's what the roster is for. It's also so your opponents can RP your star striker, fighting midfielder and goalie, and hapless center back as much as they (and you, let's touch on that later) want.

Mix in some RP Permissions with those roster. RP Permissions tell your opponent what they can or can't do.

And here are your stadia.

First listed group match will warm up beginning at 10:00 AM local time, start playing at 12:00 PM, and wrap up at 2:30 PM. Second listed group match begins to warm up then, starts at 4:30, and plays until 7. The final team warms up, starts playing at 8:30 PM, and ends at eleven. It's not optimal, but it works. The last game is taken out if it's the playoffs.

Carlos Jimenez Memorial Pitch, Rogers, Super-Llamaland: A beautiful domed field in the metropolis of Rogers, "Jimenez Pitch", as it's usually shortened to, holds 36,700 per field along with the successful FC Rogers team. They'll host Group A and H, as it is a multiple-field stadium.

Wheathampton Coliseum, Wheathampton, Super-Llamaland: Capacity 23,000, the shiny new fifty-million-dollar stadium holds FC Wheathampton, home to a rabid fanbase, and is based in the beautiful suburbs of Wheathampton, dubbed "FCVille". They'll host Group B.

OuranosTech Football Field, Emerald Springs, Super-Llamaland: Capacity 20,000. A corporate-sponsored, high-tech stadium known for its amazing scoreboards, unique setup, and fireworks. Home to FC Emerald Soccer. They'll host Group C and two Ro16 games.

The G, Keep City: Capacity 27,900. A historic field built in 1977, "The G", short for "Glacier" due to the frigid springs of Keep City, is actually named "Michael J. Winston Memorial Field for Multi-Sport Playing", which is why it became called the G in the first place. It'll host Group D, two Ro16 games, two quarterfinal games, and the finals.

Haven Field, Dinschria: Capacity 23,000. The home of the FC Dinschria team, Haven Field is a beautiful pitch in downtown Dinschria, "The Coldest City in Llamaland". Temperatures can reach below freezing in April, so footballers/soccer players should dress wisely. This will host Group E, two Ro16 games, two quarterfinal games, the semifinals, and the third-place match.

The Valley Stadium, Vargas: Capacity 29,000. At sharp contrast to cold, windy Haven Field, Vargas, located by far the most southerly of all the fields, Vargas can reach up to sixty-five degrees. A beautiful pitch and home to SC Vargas, The Valley Stadium, which actually isn't in a valley but is referred to that due to field anomalies corrected in 1996 after it was built in 1989, is a picturesque spot next to the Ackley River. It'll be host to Group F and a pair of Ro16 games.

North Province Pitch, West Denizen: Capacity 21,300. A bleak stadium barely warmer than Haven Field. This will host Group G.

Now, let's begin! The International Firestorm Cup is on!

Because of the use of a forbidden time travelling tantric technique (thats alliteration for you) all the male population of Menukten, including Menukten's clubc Limmeritch and Yardley, has been temporarily replace by Al Gores from various alternate universes. The different Al Gores shall be differentiated by their divergence from the timeline in which Al Gore lost the 2000 presidential election and went on to lobby congress to take action on global warming, culminating in the documentary An Inconvenient Truth, which here shall be reffered to as Al Gore Alpha. Both Menukten's clubs in this tournament shall be playing a 4-6-0 formation.

Limmeritch Lacrimic

Al Gore Phi. Living in the Confederate States of America, Al Gore Phi is a simple tobacco farmer.

MC Yardley

Hemel Hempstead FC
The first time Hemel Hempstead FC will compete in the FireStorm Cup, however, they’re coming off the back of 2 consecutive domestic titles, and a domestic double this season. Anyone who saw Greater Watford’s World Cup qualifying campaign will recognise some of the names. 8 of the Hemel Hempstead players made it into the national squad, signifying the strength in the Reds squad. The Red Army, the nickname of their fans have travelled to Super-Llamaland to cheer on their side, as Thomas Davidson looks to guide them to another trophy.

St Albans City FC
Despite being the reigning champions of the FireStorm Cup, they had a terrible domestic season, finishing 10th out of 16, a far cry from their title fight with Hemel Hempstead the previous season. Of course, the Saints are appearing for the 3rd time in this tournament, having won FireStorm VI. At the moment, they are under the control of a caretaker manager, David Donnelley, but the Saints will be determined to show the multiverse that they can hold on to the trophy, and take it back to Greater Watford for the 3rd time.

Please don't kill off any of my players, or permanently maim them. If you want to go creative with a storyline drop me a telegram. Also, numbers 1-11 are often starters, and 11-22 are the substitutes. 23-30 are only used in emergency situations.

Manager
Full Name: Ronald M. Rusley
Nationality: Image Darvale
Age: 58
City of Origin: Corin
Current Club: Image Corin FC
Brief Description: Ronald Mark Rusley was born in the cultural capital of Darvale, Corin, on January 21st, 1956. He is widely respected and admired by fans, and renowned for his inexplicably calm personality, even in difficult situations. Rusley played for Corin United FC, the predecessor of Corin FC, in the amateur Darvalian Premier League (DPL) from 1976 to 1990, as a full-back. However, he stayed in the team as an assistant coach for 16 years, until the year of 2006, when his predecessor, Andrew Dale, retired. He was then chosen to replace Dale and has held the position of manager ever since. Rusley usually plays the team in a 4 - 4 - 2 formation.

Head Coach
Full Name: Grigori J. Petrov
Nationality: Image Darvale
Age: 53
City of Origin: Astaria
Current Club: Image Corin FC
Brief Description: Grigori Josef Petrov was born in the nation's largest city, Astaria, on September 12th, 1961. He developed his interest in football at an early age, playing in the Youth League from 1973 to 1977, from the ages of 14 to 17. He was recruited to Corin United FC 1 year later, at the age of 19, in 1978, and dropped out of school to join the team. His career was extremely successful, scoring over 25 goals in 3 months alone. In March 1983 however, he was put on a 6 month loan to Athletic Teviera, then one of the, if not the most successful team in the DFL. However, after Teviera's then manager Albert Talone was killed and Sylvester Wayward took his place in May 1983, Petrov's loan was aborted and terminated, causing him to return to Corin United FC. Petrov played alongside Ronald Rusley until the latter retired in 1990, but the former continued playing until 1992, when he retired as well. Petrov took a brief break from the world of football from 1992 to 1996, until he was recruited back to Corin United FC as Head Coach, a position which he happily accepted. Petrov is known to be very ambitious, and has a reputation to make the team play in a very offensive way.

Assistant Coach
Full Name: Bryan C. Pinabell
Nationality: Image Darvale
Age: 44
City of Origin: Astaria
Brief Description: Bryan Colt Pinabell was born on April 2nd, 1970, in Darvale's largest city, Astaria. Like, many other members and staff of the team, he has a long history with Corin FC, having played for the youth team from ages 13 to 17 (1983 to 1987), until he was recruited to the actual team as a substitute. At the age of 20, in 1990, he was chosen to replace the retired Ronald Rusley, filling the position of full-back. He played in that position nonstop for an impressive 14 years, until 2004, when he decided to retire from the team at the age of 32 and join the team's staff. He has been Assistant Coach ever since.

Assistant Coach
Full Name: William J. Anderson
Nationality: Image Darvale
Age: 47
City of Origin: Fairbanks
Brief Description: William John Anderson was born on February 10th, 1967, in the national capital, Fairbanks. Anderson, unlike other staff and members of the team, joined the teams staff very recently, 1 year ago. He has had a long history with the DYL (Darvalian Youth League), and the DPL (Darvalian Premier League), however, and has played for a total of 7 clubs in the 2 leagues. Anderson started off is football career at the age of 13, in 1980, in Rocham FC's Youth Team, in the DYL, as a left-winger. After a rather successful year in Rocham, Anderson caught the eye of a Athletic Astaria Youth Team recruiter, who immediately proposed a move to the team. Anderson accepted, and played there for 2 more years, until 1983, when he decided to move to Corin United FC at the age of 16. He played alongside Brian Pinabell for 2 years (1983 - 1984), until his 18th birthday, when he became eligible for the DPL. Anderson was admitted to Wadsworth FC's squad only a few days after his application. He played for Wadsworth as the starting left-winger for 3 years, until he was sold to Grimsby Town FC in 1987, at the age of 21. After an unhappy 6 months there, with 2 knee injuries, Anderson moved to Corin FC, shortly after a knee operation. Anderson played alongside Ronald Rusley and Grigori Petrov for another 2 years, until he was sold to Hudson FC, at the age of 23 in 1989. Anderson stayed in Hudson FC for 10 years, until 1999, when he retired at the age of 33. Anderson then became Assistant Manager there ands held the post until 2013, when he moved from Hudson to Corin FC, where he still is now.

Bad start for the Omarians!
Remember us?I don't think so, since we have missed the 6th version of this tournament, in which St Albans City FC won it, but that is not out subject today, its the Omarians, one of the worst things just happened, both of the teams, familiar with the tournament, no wins, one loss, Toddinlofer, the league's leaders were not able to score one goal and drew negatively with Boring Paradise's Bartholomew FC, both of the teams are familiar with this tournament, and have reached some respectable positions of the tournament. But the shocker is the fact that Toddinlofer, which struck fear into other teams in the 5th edition seemed nothing today, although having 63% possession, seems that the new passing plan is not working for the coach, what is also shocking is that non of the players are new, therefore they could have done better, but its probably just tension since its been a while since The Bees have played in this tournament, also, Bartholomew is no easy opponent, we also shouldn't be criticizing Toddinlofer too much, at least they did not lose, a point is better than nothing, but we expect a lot more from Toddinlofer next matchday, Toddinlofer currently sits in 4th place, sharing the same points with their opponent Bartholomew FC, a frustrated crowd were also in the stadium, which had put money to see their team play in this tournament.

Bartholomew FC 0-0 Toddinlofer

In the other hand, Beden FC doesn't seem to be in a good spot, as a slight little error in defense had cost them the whole game against Menukten's Limmerich Lacrimic, losing 2-1 when they could have left the game with a draw, but no, that stupid little error in the 78th minute had the Menukten side score a valuable goal and secure them a win, Beden FC also is a familiar face to this tournament, and had played with the same players, but Toddinlofer always seems to be the better Omarians in this tournament and were always the better side in this tournament, Beden FC were able to equalize in the 61st minute, only for a bummer to come 17 minutes later for the Menuktens, the first goal came in the 23rd minute by Al Gore Omega, however the young 20 year old Khalid Mohammed was able to knock in some hope into the Omarians after he scored from outside the box and in between the defenders to score a nice goal, however, after a defense error and a slight lack of focus Al Gore Sigma was able to almost completely seal the game for Limmerich Lacrimic after a deflected goal in which the ball hit defender Mohammed Abdulwahab, the goalkeeper, Rashed Talib jumped onto the other side of the goal as he helplessly watched the goal hugged the net of the goal, Beden FC went on a fully coordinated ultra-attack right after the goal, the attack resulted in the ball hitting the post 3 times until Lacrimic's goalkeeper kicked it out for a corner, however the corner also didn't produce anything, and the 80,000 fans of Beden FC which had gathered in the streets, filled up cafes and had the riot police deployed left for their homes disappointed, and also produced a little bit of a tiny riot which had a well known man known for his recklessness arrested but released was released in the next morning, Mohammed Rengong the well-known long time striker of Beden FC seemed to be non lethal the in the match just attempting a total of 3 times, 2 which had hit the post during the ultra attack and one in the start of the game, what is more annoying that Beden FC had control of the game, and had more shots and attempts to score but they all went to vain.

Limmerich Lacrimic 2-1 Beden FC
'23 Al Gore Omega (Limmerich Lacrimic)
'61 Khalid Mohammed (Beden FC)
'78 Al Gore Sigma (Limmerich Lacrimic)

Match Day 1 Review

By John Burton
Landpolis is nation in which football is not just a sport, it is part of its culture. This edition of the International FireStorm Cup it is the first one in which teams from the Landpolis Premier League, will participate and represent Landpolis Football Federation (LFF) in this tournament. There are just two teams representing LFF in this tournament. These teams are the two most important in the nation; Lizland City Meteors and Summerfield Suns, directed by Harry Gibbs and Abraham Carroll respectively, will battle trying to put Landpolis in the top of the world, footballing talking. Thsi tournament is a perfect test for the Landpolis Football Federation (LFF), because in this manner we can know how is Landpolis' Football in the present. This for know what to do to make it better. The International FireStorm Cup VII held in North Super-Llamaland will be performed from April 17 to April 27, 2014. The tournament consists in forty-eight teams from all over the world participating, qualifying will be done in eight groups of six, with the top two advancing to the Round of Sixteen. From there on, it'll be single-elimination style as forty-eight clubs go for the gold.

Lizland City Meteors
Lizland City Meteors Image 2 - 1 Image Dubrack's Town Celtic

A good start for Meteors, against Dubrack's Town Celtic from Albaie in the first match of the International FireStorm Cup VII held in North Super-Llamaland!
Meteors start the match foward; they were attacking the opponent's goal over and over. At the 13th minute, Andrew Stevens, after a great play by Julian Montenegro and Kyle Owens, scored the first goal of the match, assisted by Julian Montenegro. The match restart after the goal, with an important ball possession of Dubrack's Town Celtic. At th 34th minute, forwards from DT Celtic were passing very good embarrassing Meteors, and the play finished with a goal of DT Celtic returning to the match. The match was with a partial 1-1 almost at the end of the first half. Afyer that the match became a battle at the middle of the field. Any of both teams could not take the ball to a goal. After some minutes, finally the first half finished Lizland City Meteors 1 - 1 Dubrack's Town Celtic. Fifteen minutes later, the second half started with a game speed very fast from part of both teams. At the 52nd minute a dangerous shoot by Julian Montenegro, almost finished on the net, but unfortunately the goalkeeper save it. Meteors had an opportunity with the corner at the 55th minute. The ball rebounded in the goalkeeper and DT Celtic on a counterattack almost scored too. The match was from side to side, but with no goal. Then at the 73rd minute Kyle Owens from outside of the area shoot strongly and... scored! It was the second goal for Meteors. Some minutes after the match finished Lizland City Meteors 2 - 1 Dubrack's Town Celtic. Three valuable points for Meteors in the beginning of this tournament. They're now on the second place of the group 3.

Summerfield Suns
Summerfield Suns Image 0 - 2 Image MC Yardley

Meanwhile Meteors at the top, Suns at the basement; disappointing opening match for Summerfield Suns at the North Super-Llamaland.
Summerfield Suns was clearly overcome by MC Yardley today in their first match of the tournament. The match started very difficult for both teams because they was looking for the ball at the middle of the field, then Gavin Campbell from Summerfield Suns, after a speed run with an opponent, almost scored the first for Suns, but unfortunately the goalkeeper save it, but they had an opportunity with the corner, but they failed trying to score. Then in the 20th minute, a MC Yardley's speed based counterattack, unfortunately finished in goal by Allen Gore from outside of the area. The entire team was disappointing after this. Then several minutes after Gavin Campbell again almost put the ball on the net, but he failed. At the 43th minute the match became a battle on the middle of the field again. Finally the first half finished Summerfield Suns 0 - 1 MC in Yardley. After 15 minutes resting the secon half started. At the 56th minute Al Gore Theta and Al Gore Lambda did a great play based in passes, then they passed to Al Gore Iota, and he scored the second for MC Yardley. Summerfield Suns was really surprised with this partial score. Then at the 67th minute Martin Rogers and Walter Barnes, both from Suns made a counterattack based in speed, and Stephen Simmons shoots.. and the goalkeeper saved it again. It was incredible how Al Gore Chi was saving those great shoots to the net. It seemed imossible for Suns to score! Finally the match finished unfortunately Summerfield Suns 0 - 2 MC Yardley.

Winning starts for both teams
St Albans City, began the defence of their title with a 3-1 win against North Island FC. The Saints are bidding to become the 2nd team to win 2 titles in a row, and with an early win, they have started off on the right course. The game started with the Saints in their new navy blue kits, which have divided some opinion among the fans. The debate about the new kits ended very shortly, as Ian Felson took the ball down the left wing, beating 2 defenders, before cross to the back post. James Denfield met the cross with his head, and put the ball past the goalkeeper, making it 1-0 after just 6 minutes. North Island FC immediately tried to equalise, and George Thomas was forced into some good saves, the experience of the World Cup helping him. The Saints however, didn’t let the pressure faze them. In the 39th minute, Jean-Pierre Mons ran on to a lovely through ball by Samuel Harris. Mons then rounded the keeper, before tapping the ball into the empty net, making it 2-0. The Saints went in at half-time to a round of applause.

They say 2-0 is the hardest lead to defend. However, the Saints made their task of defending it much easier in the 50th minute, when Samuel Harris sprinted clear of the defence, and was face with a one-on-one with the goalkeeper. Harris was composed, and sent the ball between the keeper’s legs, making it 3-0, an almost uncatchable lead. The Saints were content to keep the ball, rather than take risks. On the 67th minute, James Denfield had a great chance to score the 4th, however he miscued his shot, and it went narrowly wide. North Island FC were resilient and refused to give up, and on 84 minutes, an opportunistic shot by one of their strikers took a deflection off Kelvin Gander. Thomas was stranded, and North Island FC took a consolation goal. It wasn’t perfect for the Saints, but a win will do them nicely.

Hemel Hempstead made a winning start in their first game in the FireStorm Cup. They were playing FVSP in their opening game of Group 7. Hemel’s previous experience in international competition was a brief foray into the AOCL, so they began the game tentatively. Indeed, after 15 minutes there wasn’t a single shot on target, and the Red Army, the Hemel fans, looked a bit anxious. Ignacio Peréz, however, seized the ball after some lax defending, and fired a fierce shot. Many though it was going in, but a fine save was made. However, the resulting corner saw defender Vincent Warthon head into the bottom corner of the net, giving Hemel a 1-0 lead. That goal sparked the Reds into life, and they create many more opportunities, but the defence of FVSP were strong, and it remained 1-0 at half time.

Despite leading at half time, Thomas Davidson felt the need for change, and took off Paul Gosling, replacing him with Lorenzo Asta. It was a great decision, as Asta scored with his very first shot, a curler from 10 yards out on the 47 minute. FVSP looked shaky now, and attacked with more strength, but a touch of desperation. Although many shots were taken, Sam Hemmy only had to produce a few good saves to ensure he’d get a clean sheet. The final goal came in the 86th minute, when Ignacio Peréz sent a through ball that Asta chased onto. Asta beat the defenders, before placing his shot beyond the reach of the keeper, into the bottom corner. A 3-0 win is just what Hemel need to start their campaign.
Honours:
International FireStorm V Cup Winner with Watford FC
International FireStorm VI Cup Winner with St Albans City FC

But not a drop to drink!

Since, ya know, if you drunk a cutoff it would get seriously messed up. Who will be surprise group leaders, and who will fall behind?

Match Day 2 Review

By John Burton
The second match day of the International FireStorm Cup VII held in the nation of North Super-Llamaland was played today. There was exciting matches like Meridian FC Vs. Lizland City Meteors and Summerfield Suns Vs. North Island FC. Well, now let's meet today's opponents of both of Landpolis' teams. The opponent of Lizland City Meteors is Meridian FC from Acridan. After the first match day, this team was ranked 6th in the Group 3. This was due to their 4-0 lost against the powerful Corin FC from Darvale. Summerfield Sun's opponent is North Island FC; This team was 5th ranked after the first match day, because they lost against St. Albans City FC from Greater Watford. After today's match Meteors' Coach, Harry Gibbs said: "The team played very good today, the youth knew how to control the ball, and the discover the weak point of the opponent rapidly, and that's the best of today's performance. We will go for the gold and it doesn't matter how much big or strong is the team we're playing against, because if we really want to be champions of the International FireStorm Cup, we need to win to everybody." and Summerfield Suns' Coach, Abraham Carroll said: "These three points are very valuable, because we have lost yesterday's match, and I'm happy beacuse we're jumping places in the group. After yesterday's match we were in 6th place, and now after today's match we are in 3th place. I think that if we continue like that, this team will be champion of the tournament."

Lizland City Meteors

Six points and counting for Lizland City Meteors, they won again today, now against Merdian FC from Acridan!
Lizland City Meteors won today against Meridian FC, now the team is in the first place of the group 3. Meteors "jumped" to the field with their new black kits. And the match started, it was a rain afternoon in North Super-Llamaland. At the 6th minute, Vincent Dunne and Julian Montenegro were passing the ball through all of the opponent's defenders, then they passed the ball to Julian Montenegro, who shoot strongly directly to the net, but the ball hit in the crossbar of the goal. Then in a counterattack of the Meridian FC's forwards they were passing rapidly, and then they shoot and... scored. At the 11th minute Meridian FC was winning the match. The match restarted after that goal. At the 24th minute, Walter Barnes made a great pass just a bit in front of Andrew Stevens, and he shoot to the goal strongly, settled and with effect, and obviously the goalkepper can't stop that ball, and goaaaaaaal! Stevens score the 1 - 1 for Meteors! Then the match became slow and locked on the middle field. At the 43th minute, Julian Montenegro shoot from outside the area and the ball hit in the crossbar and then bounced inside the goal. Goaaaaaal, Meteors were now winning the match! The fisrt half finished Meridian FC 1 - 2 Lizland City Meteors. After 15 minutes resting, the second half began. At th 52nd minute, Kyle Owens and Andrew Stevens made an awesome speed based play in which any of the opponent's players could reach to where they were. They almost scored the third goal for Meteors. In the second half Meteors was clearly dominating the match, Meridian FC could not did anything in the last 20 minutes of the match. After several minutes, the match finished Meridian FC 1 - 2 Lizland City Meteors.

Lizland City Meteors
Summerfield Suns Image 2 - 1 Image North Island FC

Summerfield Suns won against North Island FC and they earn their first three points in the International FireStorm Cup VII!
Summerfield Suns won today against North Islands FC from Catholican Catholica, and with these three points, Suns are now in the third place of the Group 2, last match day was in 6th place, this means that Suns jumped three places in the standings! The match started well for Suns, they were passing the ball with elegance across the field. Ludwig Long and Max Patterson passed the ball to Gavin Campbell, and at the 13rd minute he scored with a strongly and settled shoot directly to the angle of the goal. It was impossible for the goalkeeper to save that powerful shoot- Suns were winning easily and early, but then, several minutes after tht goal North Island FC began to tighten up the match, beause they were bombarding Andres Quintanilla, the goalkeeper, but they could not score at least one goal in the first half of the match. The first half finished Summerfield Suns 1 - 0 North Island FC. Summerfield Suns' players were very motivated because they were playing very good, and after those half time 15 resting minutes, the second half started with an exciting play by Kurt Richardson from Suns, that finished in the second goal for Suns. It seemed very easy this match for them. But some minutes after that, forward players from North Island FC, with a lot of speed were passing easily through Suns' defensors, and he shoot and Andres Quintanilla save it, but there was an opportunity in the corner, and... the scored! It was the first goal for North Island FC. After that, North Island FC was dominating the match and they almost drawn it, but no. The match finished Summerfield Suns 2 - 1 North Island FC.

Is it bad luck or bad luck?
This is embarrassing, really really embarrassing indeed, IFSC veterans Toddinlofer losing 4-1!How is that believable! The other shocker is that Gargovsan have taken the league's lead after Toddinlofer have shown not a single bit of attention to the league and had decided to show attention to the Firestorm cup, well, that did not work as the Bees are currently placed 5th in their group and have lost 4-1, complete embarrassment, the only goal was scored by captain Mohammed Wqidos in the 47th minute with a beautiful volley which was put in the 90 angle, however that didn't stop the Menukten side from scoring 2 other goals, hats off to the Menuktens which have shown complete confidence in this cup, as for us the Omarians, well, MEH, we didn't really expect this, but it seems like the veterans and the well known faces of this cup are getting taught a lesson by the coming generations, Bartholomew FC, we feel you mates, 4-1 lose for them too, both Toddinlofer and Bartholomew have competed over 3 times in this cup, and have shown great strength and potential, but for the two Omarian teams, seems like the round of 32 stage is slipping from their hands as they are both 5th in their group and haven't won a single game, and are struggling to do so, the scoring started EXACTLY 10 minutes after the start when a header slipped from Deferos' finger tips and had went for the net, the other goal came in the 25th minute from Al Gore Mu, which put Toddinlofer under increasing stress as they tried their best to at least decrease the difference by one goal, it happened, but not for long. The referee whistled, the game started, again from half time, the Omarians 2-nil down trying as much as they could to reduce the difference, it happened, the 47th minute after a well placed corner kick went for captain Wqidos which was behind the crowd of defenders and middlefielders, a beautiful volley, and GOAL, we, as we watched the match couldn't believe our eyes, it was indeed the reducer, 16 minutes later, its a 3rd goal scored by Al Gore Mu again, the Omarians' manager had to switch middlefielder Petren for Cobin so at least there would be pace in the favor of the Bees, the game went on and on and the Omarians still trailing by two goals again its the 77th minute, 3-1 in favor of the Menuktens a good attack, but an over exited Cobin didn't wait for forward Abdulwahed to come onside, Abdulwahed was behind the defenders, he didn't hear the referee whistle under the stress and the crowd's noise and had shot it into the goal, only to be shocked by the fact that it was offside, Abdulwahed was handed a yellow card for time wasting and the manager had to replace him just for his safety for further matches as he was afraid he might get a red card, he switched him for forward Baabi which is not new to this cup and had played in this cup more than once, 89th minute, 4th goal, Al Gore COMPLETE embarrassment for us, even our manager in the headquarters had to go out for a coffee and head straight to his house, every one in the headquarters was sad, but what was worse?Gargovsan had won another game against Baharet AlSawahel with one valuable goal in which the match ended 0-1 for them, and had placed them in the top of the league, shocked and a bummer for everyone.

While on the other hand the other Toddinlofer based side lost AGAIN, 1-0, a penalty in the 79th minute cost it all for them, they seem to be enduring a sticky spell currently this is their second game on a row that they have lost, again on a one goal difference, sadly because they had the more possession and shots present and yet they managed to ruin it in the 79th minute...when Beden FC defender Omran Khalid saw that the ball was going to hit his face he had to do what had to be done, he put his hand, and that had a very expensive cost, first a red card for Omran, second and most importantly, losing, thats what is had cost them, and also a yellow card for Mohammed Rengong and Mohammed Abdulwahab for protesting against the referee's decision put Beden FC in an alerting situation and making them worried about any further red cards, 3 total substitutions in the 61st minute replacing middefielder Wael by substitute Sender, in the 74th minute replacing young forward Khalid Mohammed with Tragovince and in the 85th minute replacing the well known experienced forward Mohammed Rengong with forward Galopi, but yet it annoyingly didn't produce anything, Beden FC are in a bad situation placing 5th in their group, losing two matches by just a goal in difference, the round of 32 is seeming to fade away, as they will need to do their best to at least make it out of the group stage, we do not know what is even going on to the two teams as they are seemingly over-underestimating the teams they are playing against, especially in a tournament as good as this, the last time Toddinlofer has played they were the runners up, now they are struggling and are the 5th in their group, Beden FC lost only about 2 matches or 3, we are unsure, we will have to check on that later, but they managed to put up a good fight and placed 3rd in their group, so what is going on?Bribery?Underestimation?Or pure neglecting? What is going on in the field is really unacceptable as the two teams have the potential and strength to upset a whole lot of teams, but that so called "potential" hasn't shown any magic here, maybe it just faded into the blue and is probably going to stay there until this tournament is over, the most used question and the most streaming on social websites are: "What is happening to both of the teams?", we are on the same page with the thousands, or probably millions who are asking this question? What is going on?The game starts normally, but then in the 50th minute, Persepur Bhagawanta decides to "park the bus", and completely block off all the shots that are in the favor of the Omarians, 23 shots to 10 shots total, that was the count of the total shots of both sides, Beden FC shots 23, TWENTY THREE shots, yet they lost 1-0 with total ease, “Earth provides enough to satisfy every man's needs, but not every man's greed.” Ghandi. Although not related, Beden FC surely were the greedy side of the match, if they only conserved the shots and maybe minimized the total of the shots to take them more critically then they may have had a better chance of winning this game and knocking in some hope into everyone who has a connection to the team, but losing so easily like this, this fact is very annoying, especially that Beden has some experience that they can use in their favor in this edition of the cup.

I don't know if you care, but I'm really putting a lot of time and effort into RPing, this RP specifically took me over 2 hours (no kidding) since English is not my first language, and I even stay up till 1 AM to see the scores, and the fact that some nations aren't really putting any effort into RPing is really annoying, and yet they still win, I don't really know if you had put the RP bonus, and I know that scorinators are all about luck, but losing 4-1 to a new team that isn't really giving any attention to this and isn't putting any effort is annoying, I'm not telling you to let my teams win, I just want to ask why are my teams losing so badly when I am putting +2 hours into my RPs. I'm not sad or pissed, just shocked, cheers!

Another set of wins for Greater Watford sides
St Albans City took a commanding 4-1 win against Bartholomew FC of Boring Paradise. With confidence high as they defend their title, it was no surprise to see St Albans attack from the off. However, young Jamie De Longi was commanding in goal, and it was going to be tough for the Saints to score. That is, until the 17th minute, when Samuel Harris sprinted into the box. Ibrahim Hughes went for the ball, but Harris went tumbling to the ground. With accusations of diving from Bartholomew FC, a penalty was awarded. James Denfield calmly put it the other side of De Longi, making it 1-0. St Albans continued to pressurise the Bartholomew defence, and on 28 minutes, Andy Tomkins sent a through ball into the path of James Denfield, who calmly placed the ball into the net with his left foot, making it 2-0. It remained that way as the half ended, with Bartholomew FC having a few shots.

Into the second half, and it was Bartholomew FC who pulled one back. Gander and King gave Ali Frazer too much room, and he let fly a curling shot that beat George Thomas at the far post. It was a tentative match with 1 goal in it, until James Denfield latched on to an Ian Felson cross. The initial effort was blocked, but Denfield followed through to get a hat-trick. The final goal came in the last few minutes, with substitute Eric Gwent heading in from a corner. A good win for the Saints, as they aim for the Top 2 in Group B.

Hemel Hempstead had a tougher job facing CD Viocla, who come from the Royal Barangay of Sangti. Buoyed from their first win, Hemel Hempstead were up for a good game. However, in the first minute, disaster struck. Andie Bencito’s 45 yard lobbed passed missed the CD Viocla striker Norman. However, the ball took an awkward bounce, and it went over Sam Hemmy’s head, making it 1-0 against the Reds. It was a terrible way to begin the game, and the defence were mortified. The attack of Peréz and Gosling were fuelled by that mistake, and sent in several fierce shots throughout the half. However, Gerard Verdad was having a much better game, and made several fine saves. It was 1-0 at half time.

Into the second half, and Hemel launched many more attacks, leaving room at the back. CD Vicola nearly finished off the Reds on a few occasions, but Salvatore, Watts and the Warthon brothers showed some great determination in defence to hold off the opposition. In the 81st minute, a corner to Hemel saw the tall Warthon brothers come up. The ball went into the 6-yard box, and Ryan Warthon headed down, out of reach of the keeper, and equalised. CD Vicola were dismayed at losing their lead so late in the game. Worse was to come. In the 89th minute, young Tommy Deer sprinted from the half-way line with the ball to the edge of the box before squaring it to Peréz. Peréz saw his shot saved by Verdad, but Deer latched onto the rebound, giving Hemel a 2-1 lead, and ultimately a win. A tough win for the Reds, but one that leaves them top of Group 7.

Matchday 1 Review

Image Corin FC 4 - 0 Image Meridian FC

It was the perfect start for national top dogs, Corin FC, making their debut in the International FireStorm Cup with a demolishing 4-0 win against Meridian FC, of the nation of Acridan.

An early goal in the 7th minute from James Tanner put them ahead, with creative, collective play from midfielders Robin Luepper, Peyton Walsh, and Paul Povac resulting in the dribbling of Meridian's midfield and defense, and a wonderful lob to Tanner.

In the 12th minute, Meridian FC had a very good chance of equalizing. With Hawkins and Allen both off guard, an unnamed midfielder of Meridian FC chipped the ball to another unnamed player, who then easily sneaked between Hawkins and Allen, and shot the ball low, towards the bottom-right corner. It was only the last-moment reflexes of Hawkins who managed to block the shot with a sloppy slide-tackle.

In the 22nd minute, Peyton Walsh was brutally tackled by yet another unnamed Meridian FC midfielder. Walsh, with the ball, was lurking around the half-line, biding his time to lob the ball forward to the attack, when suddenly, this unnamed player, with a robust build, rugby tackled Walsh and was immediately sent off. This unnamed player was interviewed after the match, under the alias of "Banana McBananason". He said that he forgot that they were playing a game of soccer, not rugby. He offered his excuses to Walsh.

In the 24th minute, "Banana McBananason" was in possession of the ball again, and, with tremendous force, "McBananason" thunderously kicked the ball. Or at least he meant to. In what was apparently an accident, McBananason kicked the patch of grass before the ball so hard that his foot tore off from his leg, causing him to (Censored By US Bureau Of Morality). The ligaments that exploded from McBananason's foot (Failed US Bureau Of Morality Censor) reportedly reached as far as a crowd of cannibalistic supporters of Meridian FC.

These cannibals immediately opened their mouths to receive the incoming flesh. The flesh appeared to have triggered horrendous hunger in these creatures, who immediately jumped off their seats and attacked other spectators, in an attempt to eat them. Police intervention followed instantly, resulting in a fight between police and mad cannibals, who were by now already breaking through the barricades of support that the security had installed to protect the rest of the spectators.

The match however, continued normally after "McBananason" was taken off the pitch and the lesser parts of his body and the blood was taken away. For about 20 minutes, nobody knew what happened, due to the chaos that engulfed the stadium. Not even the media was focused on the match anymore, literally the entire stadium was focused on the fight.

However, a Acridan spectator, a fan of Meridian FC, who, for security reasons, preferred not to reveal his/her identity, said that he/she witnessed Meridian FC score 4 goals in the period of time when the fight took place. With the help of a translator, we have managed to deduce what "Cluck McCluck", the alias this mysterious Meridian FC supporter went under, said in an interview after the match.

"I'm telling you all! It was the same guy who scored! They were the best goals I've ever seen!". "Cluck McCluck" continued to demand for a rematch, because the game was apparently "unfair".

After the half-time, the police had seemingly managed to calm the cannibals and slowly, the spectators, refocused their attention to the match. In the 56th minute, a corner kick was awarded to Corin FC. Luepper took it, kicking the ball with the flat part of his foot, causing the ball to go fast and low, towards the danger zone. One other unnamed Meridian FC defender stepped forward in an attempt to block the ball. He succeeded, but with the use of his hands.

The referee awarded a penalty, with Jake Ivan to take it. Ivan did not fail. As soon as the referee blew the whistle, the 21 year old sent the ball home with a preposterously amazing curving effect, that changed the ball's original route to the bottom-left corner to the bottom-right corner. 2-0.

Meridian FC, with 1 of their best players, "Banana McBananason", in hospital, and losing 2-0 in the second half, had completely lost optimism, and were by now only playing along, humbly waiting for the game to end.

This complete demoralization allowed Corin FC to quickly break Meridian FC's defense line. On one such occasion, in the 66th minute, Peyton Walsh managed to slip through another unnamed midfielder and McBananason's substitute, who was under the alias of "Banana-Peel McPeel. Walsh then slid the ball slyly across the grass to Jake Ivan, who seized the opportunity to lob the ball to James Tanner, who headed the ball home.

Another occasion, in the 79th minute, allowed a very unusual goal to take place. A failed goal attempt by James Tanner hit the crossbar allowing another unnamed Meridian Player to clear. Which is what he did. Or at least tried to. This unnamed defender accidentally shot the ball into the head of one of his fellow teammates, the ball bounced off his head and went home.

Losses for Saints and Reds
St Albans City fell to a 2-0 defeat, but still remain in the Top 2 of Group 2. Their opponents today were Summerfield FC of Landopolis. The match stared off slowly for both sides, with a few probing passes, but nothing serious. Jean-Pierre Mons had the best opportunity on 23 minutes, but his shot wasn’t well hit and was saved by Andres Quintanilla, with some thinking a pass to James Denfield would’ve been more effective. At the other end of the pitch, George Thomas was at full stretch to block a Ludwig Long volley in the box. Nevertheless, it was 0-0 at half time, with both sides looking for a breakthrough.

The breakthrough came in the 56th minute. Kendal Henderson held off young Kelvin Gander, and cross to the back post to Max Patterson. Patterson was clear, and his header easily beat George Thomas, giving Summerfield a 1-0 lead. St Albans took off Gander, replacing him with Johnathon Sedrivore, and the gamble nearly paid off, with Serdivore setting up a beautiful through ball to Mons. Mons however, couldn’t place his feet well, and scuffed the shot over the bar. In the last few minutes, with the defence tiring, Ludwig Long was able to rush into the box, and his shot slid by George Thomas, and doubled the lead. It was 2-0 at the final whistle, with the Saints tasting a rare defeat in the FireStorm Cup.

Hemel Hempstead fared no better, also losing by 2 goals. They narrowly won their last game, so confidence wasn’t as high as they wanted. After just 5 minutes, Jelle broke into the box, and in a 2v1, easily dispatched Sam Hemmy to go 1-0 up. In the 18th minute, it was 2-0, was Jelle scored from a headed goal at the far post. The Reds, not used to losing were getting frustrated, and tried to attack the Jelle goal fiercely. Gosling came very close, but the finest of deflections sent his shot wide, and the corner was wasted. It was 2-0 at half time.

In the second half, Ignacio Peréz stunned the crowd with a 25 yard screamer of a shot that pulled 1 back for Hemel Hempstead. They equalised on 56 minutes, Peréz scoring again, this time latching on to Mitchell Tavern’s through ball. The Reds pushed for a 3rd, however at the other end, Jelle ran into the box, and the striker collided with Sam Hemmy. Under accusations diving, a penalty was awarded, and Hemmy saw red. Conor Everett, substitute goalkeeper couldn’t keep out the penalty and it was 3-2 to Jelle. In the 76th minute, Jelle’s rather tame shot from 15 yards caught out Everett, as the ball bounced off him, and rolled into the net, giving Jelle a 4-2 lead. Even Peréz and Gosling up front couldn’t help the Reds, as they fell to a defeat.
