A leading former politician and high-profile Elvis Loves Walri Party representative has been arrested in Gregoryisgodistan and faces charges following a public protest outside a handball match between Britonisea and Communist New Slifer. Lee Denton Gresberet, who served the Arya Isles state as a Member of Government between the years of 1997 - 2009, could face a punishment ranging in severity from deportation and exile from Gregoryisgodistan to public execution, with the latter more likely. It is understood that representatives from the Nouvel Ecosse Government are currently en route to the country in hopes of pushing for the latter, although they understand that should the officials of Gregoryisgodistan deem that execution is the correct punishment there is little any of them can do.
The other protesters are either still missing or have returned home to Nouvel Ecosse, where they will receive a ban from Gregoryisgodistan. State councillor Giaccomo Mossetti told a crowd of reporters upon his arrival at Hannibal International Airport that "The regime is barbaric. Imagine, attempting to execute us for what is free speech and what is the truth. It has been a popular saying recently, but what I have saw of the country it is filled with idiotic plebs."
It is understood that the Ecossian officials will also meet with the hospitalised victims of the recent spate of unfortunate injuries suffered by Ecossian visitors to the country, and bring them back on their Government jet. This includes Caeschez, the handball player who took seriously ill due to an allergy to a food substance and not an Elvis song, as recently reported. We would also like to correct that article, where we mistakenly reported that the fans sang Elvis. It was in fact the opposition team's goalkeeper.
