Welcome to the Hockey Title Belt Championship.
This is how it works: the Hockey Title Belt Championship (HTBC) pitches international teams into a continuous series of boxing-style title matches. Winners of HTBC title matches become title-holders, and Champions, and move up the rankings table.
What is a HTBC title match?
A HTBC title match is a friendly game of Ice Hockey between two National teams posting interest to play in this thread.
How does a Nation participate?
Nations interested may post in this thread to sign-up. The first two teams to make a post will start off the Championship for the title belt. Any other nations that sign-up will be placed on the challenger list in order they signed up. As teams continue to play, Nations will climb the list until it’s their turn for a title match. If a Nation loses in a Championship match, they must make another post to sign-up. The Nation will be added to the bottom of the challenger list and automatically work its way back up as matches take place.
How do the HTBC rankings work?
HTBC rankings are calculated via a simple points system. Teams are awarded one ranking point for winning a HTBC title match, either as holder or challenger. If two or more teams have equal ranking points they share that rank, and are listed alphabetically in the ranking table.
How is the HTBC scorinated?
All HTBC matches will be scorinated by me with the latest version of xkoranate. One match will be scorinated every Monday and Thursday. Nations may RP if they want, but this is a fun, friendly competition between participating Nations. No bonus points will be added when scorinating.
