In Astyria and/or Costa de Ouro.

Also, I'll be holding signups for the first five or so events that I'll be hosting in the first couple of months as a test for a "Grand Prix" type system; it would (hopefully) make it easier for everything to run. More details will be given as we get closer to that date.

Hold up, my tournament is supposed to happen in February.

Well, I made a new schedule and I was going to post it during the Manunggal Open, but that totally got busted. This was my proposed schedule -

Clay Court
January: BCA Open Albergaria, Antillia Masters
February: Santa Maria Open, 360 Degrees Monteverde Cup, Fresko Royal Nikolian Open
March: Cadenzan Clay Trophy, Hamilton International, Stars Patistan Open
April: Electrum Open

Hard Court
May: Volatus Open, Cenial Masters
June: Cenian Open
July: Drakonikan Open
August: Estope Open, Britannual Britonisean Open, Darvale Open

Grass Court
October: Kannapian International
November: Llamanean Open, 21st Century Fox Richmond Masters, World Tour Finals
December: Off month

but I think that if you were dying to host your tournament in February we could do some rejiggering.

EDIT: For that matter, if any of the hosts are unhappy about this schedule, they can TG me about their concerns and I'll try and address them

Ceni, you're a good person, on that note, I won't host my tournament during your ATP Series. However, I would like to host my tournament before August, 8 and a half months away.

Thank-you, I am happy to be hosting this tournament.

Image

These are the best possible days I could do.

2 groups of 4
29/12- Round Robin A
30/12- Round Robin B
31/12- Round Robin C
1 rest day, also to sort out Semi Finals, plus it is NYD.
02/01- Semi Finals
03/01- Finals and 3rd place matches.

04/01- Astryrian Series!

The RP and Results thread will be up either today or tomorrow.

For an IC reference, the first 3 days of the Astyrian series will be qualification days, so players playing in Telm City won't have to worry about plane travel from Britonisea to Paradise City playing one day, flying, and then playing the next day.

A few observations I've noticed as a now-outsider:

Obviously tennis has relatively low RP. This may be because it goes on constantly. In addition, many tennis RPers are mostly known for RPing tennis - it's simply not that feasible to expect somebody to do the World Cup, maybe a baseball or basketball, plus tennis, and do it all well and also have free time. Unfortunately, tennis requires going on constantly - that's RL precedent.

Perhaps you could really highlight certain tournaments (right now it all looks the same) while the minor tournaments are auto-scorinated without need of RP (and would therefore count less towards the ranks)? Just my 2ç c ¢

Ranks will be only updated for players/teams participating in Cadenza, as I don't have enough time to update all 300 peoples'/teams' rankings and do work for Cadenza.

The ranks will totally be updated before Fresko Royal Nikolian.
