Please use the signups thread for OOC stuff.

List of venues:
Each group will be assigned venues which all of that group's matches will be held in. The cities for each group will be geographically close to each other by Kelssekian standards; but it is a pretty large country. The Velocit train system is generally the best intercity transport option, but flying would probably be necessary for longer distances, a Burnaby-Kirkenes flight is 2.5 hours, the Velocit would take 12 hours, driving would take 20 hours assuming you did not stop or rest at any point and intercity coach does not bear thinking about. IC information for most of these cities can be found on NSWiki. Click here for a map.

Format and tiebreaking rules
The tournament seeks to mimic the IIHF World Championship rules.

During the group stage, teams winning in regulation are awarded three points, the loser none.

Where there is a tied score in the group stage, teams are given one point each. A five-minute sudden-death overtime will follow and, if the score is still tied after overtime, Game Winning Shots will be used. The team winning in overtime or shoot-out is awarded the extra point for a total of two points.

Ties in the standings are broken in the following way:
1. Head-to-head (mutual) games between the teams concerned.
2. Overall goal differential.
3. Higher number of goals scored for.
4. Game Winning Shot competition between the teams concerned.

In case of a tie at the end of regulation in a round of 16, quarterfinal, semi-final or bronze medal game, there will be a 10-minute, sudden-death overtime period, following a three-minute intermission. The teams will defend the same goals as in the third period. The team, which scores first is the winner.

In the gold medal game there will be a 20-minute sudden-death overtime, following a full intermission during which the ice will be resurfaced. The teams will change ends. The team which scores first is the winner.

All sudden death overtime periods are played four skaters on four.

If no goal is scored during the sudden-death overtime, there will be game winning shot (GWS) competition (’shootout’). Each team must select three shooters to compete in the GWS. If the score is still tied after the teams have had three attempts each, the teams continue to shoot in pairings until the shooter of one team misses and the shooter of the other team scores.

In the event that my heavily-armed security guards are not ICly allowed into the country, they will be RP'd as present and armed, but not in uniform. Also, Each individual changeling has a preferred form. They are given to you for your RPing use, though you may choose to RP them in any form you wish them to use, no matter how stupid or unrealistic it may be.

This roster should not be treated as an official roster released by the government of the Equestrian States and most of it is not publicly-released IC knowledge.

The Pony Republic of Equestrian States
Unofficial and Unauthorized Team - World Cup of Hockey 20

Team Background
As the National Equestrian Sports Council (NESC) failed to enter an official national hockey team for the third consecutive tournament, several of the more shady and sneaky members of the NESC have arranged for the role of representing the Equestrian States to be given to the inmates at Alcloptraz Maximum Security Prison. The island prison holds several thousand Changelings, and is practically never on the "To Visit" lists of tourists in the Equestrian States as ten security checks are required before one is allowed to set a hoof (or other body part) on or off the island to prevent escapes. A group of of over a dozen Changeling prisoners have been selected by their prison wardens to play as the Equestrian States team, though their actions are illegal and unauthorized by the government or the normal ruling board of the NESC. Those inmates conscripted to play were selected based on viciousness, aggressiveness, or simple intimidation. When not playing, the Changelings will be kept in magically-reinforced transport containers kept under armed guard at all times. Guards will also prevent any unauthorized news on the World Cup of Hockey from reaching the Equestrian States itself so that the secrecy of the team is maintained.

Round of 16
Mapletish vs. Equestrian States at Laineá Arena in Alavaria, Kelssek

Roster
None of the players have an assigned position as their continuously shifting appearances make identification of players nearly impossible. Thus, they have been grouped into two categories: offensive and defensive players, based on inmate tendencies.

Offense
Inmate 221813 (Female Human)
Inmate 672362 (Male Penguin)
Inmate 956267 (Male Pegasus)
Inmate 745367 (Male Manticore)
Inmate 938518 (Female Dragon)
Inmate 018374 (Male Human)
Inmate 130670 (Male Vampire)
Inmate 739275 (Male Polar Bear)
Inmate 719351 (Female Elf)
Inmate 445163 (Female Earth Pony)

Defense
Inmate 003756 (Male Human - Usually the Goalie)
Inmate 103558 (Female Timberwolf)
Inmate 017461 (Female Lion)
Inmate 716391 (Female Tiger)
Inmate 916164 (Male Dragon)
Inmate 155171 (Male Unicorn)

Team Staff
The inmate players have not been given any training nor do they have any official coaches assigned to them. The closest thing the team has to coaches are the guards assigned to them.

Head Guard: Captain [NAME CLASSIFIED] (Pegasus - Male)
Guard: Officer [NAME CLASSIFIED] (Unicorn - Male)
Guard: Officer [NAME CLASSIFIED] (Pegasus - Female)
Guard: Officer [NAME CLASSIFIED] (Earth Pony - Female)
Guard: Officer [NAME CLASSIFIED] (Human - Male)
Guard: Officer [NAME CLASSIFIED] (Minotaur - Male)
Guard: Officer [NAME CLASSIFIED] (Human - Male)

Home Rink
As the WCoH 20 group stage will be held solely in Kelssek, individual home rinks will not be used. The information here is used only to give additional RP material to my opponents.

Name: Recreation Yard B
Location: Alcloptraz Maximum Security Prison
Capacity: 1,250
Short Description: In order that the team have a place to play their home games, the guards have secretly arranged for the secondary prison yard be set aside as a temporary ice rink. Wooden bleachers constructed by the inmates will allow for around 1,250 ponies, changelings, or other beings to watch the games with only a little discomfort. For IC purposes, visiting teams will be allowed to bring no more than 500 fans with them and will have to cooperate fully with the guards' instructions in order to attend.

RP Permissions

If my opponent RPs first, I give them the right to...
Do anything they want to: Yes - As long as the team's secrecy is maintained, since the majority of my nation is being kept unaware of the team's existence during group play for RP reasons. As such, unless I have told you otherwise, you are forbidden from saying there were any Equestrian fans at my away games (as in when I play in your country). I would also ask that you shoot me a TG warning if you plan to do something extreme like killing a player. I'll probably let you do it, but I like to have advance warning so I can make adjustments to my own RP for that MD.

Only in Hockey could the #6 team in the world finish 4th and become the #1 team in the world. Plutoni, who started #2 finished second is #2, while the Hosts (Kelssek) are 5th and the defending champions, Birolika, who had the biggest cinderella run of all time, are only ranked 12th.

What does that mean for the 20th World Cup of Hockey? That anything probably could happen, except Qazox winning a third title, as we all know that won't happen anytime soon.

THE MAPLETISH UNION NATIONAL TEAM [ICE-HOCKEY]
" THE MINNOWS "

Ice-hockey has started to pick up the heat soon after a string of outstanding performances and promotions of the sport in the Union for the past few years.Although it still has a long way to go as compared to sports like Association Football in which the team sits in the top 50 of the world rankings, their ice hockey counterparts struggled to make a lasting impact on the international ice hockey scene.Having reached the 30th ranking in the World Ranking coming out as one of their closest and highest ranking ever achieved.

Shaping up the squad from the previous World Cup Of Hockey, the team was revamped following a decision from the Mapletish Sports Congress to change the way the team is run, this also meant that the previous players that starred for Mapletish were all re-accessed and re-selected to account for one of the biggest ice hockey national teams reforms ever. This also meant for a change in the head coach with a 5 member panel on deciding the new head coach.A lot might have been done here but what's left is the doing the talking on the ice rink this time round.

Following the revamp of the team, the kits are also changed from the old white kit to the red and gold kit with bits of grey to show the fiery and desire as the team once again tries to make their way into the ice hockey international scene with a swing in action.

Starting Line-ups:
Kevin Hautifi/G/#16/AGE: 22
Kevin is a strong 41 year-old man that owns and pwns everyone at goalie. He has only let 45 pucks in the net his whole carrer. Also, If you get a puck in, you will die...In the morning. Kevin has never been injured or stuck to something in any way.

Daylon Orali/LDM/#2/AGE: 28
Standing at 6,3 and weighing at 202 lbs is none other than the great Left defense man Daylon Orali! He is a beast at defending and can stop anyone dead in their tracks, Literally, he stops people and kills them. Be afraid! Anyhow, Daylon is a good hockey player and an average person.

Mathias Kristiansen/RDM/#3/AGE: 24
Mathias isn't good at defending, nor does he know what a Right Defense man is. But, he does know that he can play hockey better than anyone on the team. He is a pro at hockey. Just like how Jaleel White was good at basketball.

Jake Gaisdui/C/#7/AGE: 26
Jake is a German-American who can play just like everyone else. He is good at centerfowarding, he's a nice person, and loves the game of hockey. He is often reffered to as a "hockey fantic or fanboy" but he only likes the game, he doesn't worship it! Why? Do you think he goes to The Holy Church of Hockey Pucks?! Seriously?

Dimitri Roberazzi/LWF/#5/AGE: 23
Dimitri is a freshly drafted Russian hockey player. Russians are good at hockey, right? (no offense). Dimitri is from Vladivostok, Russia and played as a forward in the Russia Men's Olympic Hockey Team in the winter Olympics. He dreams of becoming a pro hockey player and move to Anarctican to play in the Anarctica Hockey Team, which doesn't exist but try telling him that! Dimitri is a nice person and has little temper issues.

Alexei Borodin/RWF/#10/AGE: 24
Alexei Borodin was a former Russian hockey player. And now he is back. Alexei is from Vladivostok, Russia and played as a forward in the Russia Men's Olympic Hockey Team in the winter Olympics. He dreams of becoming a pro hockey player and move to Alaska to play in the Alaskan Hockey Team, which doesn't exist but try telling him that! Alexei is a nice person and has little temper issues.

(Moved from wrong thread, sorry!)

We're Plutoni and the robots are in italics.

RPers can do whatsoever they want. Most of the team generally doesn't tend to start fights, though will fight back if provoked. The "Gunners" are more likely to instigate stuff.

You may choose the scorers and assign anything less than or equal to to a major penalty. This is international hockey; the players will only fight in exceptional circumstances. Don't get specific about injuries or how badly they're injured and ask me if there's anything you think I might want to know about what you're having my players do.

The Daily Sheep
Four years on

It's been four years since Birolika's shocking and astounding victory in the final of the World Cup of Hockey, since then the players have been bathed in praise and glory and coach Balker went on tour trying to get other teams into the same model to experience N00Bish success. Now however comes a time to ask a question, will Birolika become an Ice Hockey powerhouse, or will WCoH 19 be a moment in time that we can’t re-create? It is a question that no one really wanted to answer: However Artem Rilley, the lovable man boy who helped lead us to victory with 12 goals to his name, has said that "he hopes to help his team again to make it far and go for the trophy again". He is now of course 23 and has brought with him a new generation of players who can actually skate and play hockey. Lets just hope that we do well mkay? We are only 12th in the world so not that much is expected of us (expect the whole back to back trophies dream).

Soviet Canuckistan Roster

Image

Jersey:Image

Background: Hockey is a key element of Canuckistani culture. During the long, cold winters, hockey was often the only way for people to socialize. Arenas and Backyard Rinks are flooded every year for the 30 million organized and recreational hockey players in Soviet Canuckistan. In 1955, the Soviet Canuckistan National Hockey team was founded to bring the best of Soviet Canuckistan's hockey players to the world. This year's team is fast and agile and very rarely incurs penalties, just like the style of hockey in Soviet Canuckistan. After the success of the team in WCOH 18, most of the team is returning with the exception of star goalie Oleg Sybanski who is now returning as a goalie coach for the very young goaltending squad.

Roster:

RW- #3 Stephan Polomaniuk
Team:Moscawa Beavers
Age:24
Background:Born in the small town of Skabank, Soviet Canuckistan, Stephan became talented at hockey at a young age, at the age of 16, he was drafted into the Second Division of Soviet Canuckistani hockey, a first in Soviet Canuckistan as he was the youngest hockey pro ever there. He quickly began to shine, racking up an impressive 122 points in 75 games. At 17, he was moved up into the First Division where he continues to amaze, with his last season producing 102 points in 75 games.

RW-#82 Sgt. Andrei Petrovski
Team:Red Army Moscawa
Age:26
Background:Born into an army family, Andrei was used to playing many styles of hockey due to moving around a lot. Whether it was the rough play of the Quebexicans or the agile play of the West, he picked it up quickly and combined the styles to suit his needs. After joining the army at 18, he joined the Red Army team and in his first season racked up 77 points in 55 games. He continues to combine his finesse and physical play and got 93 points in 74 games last season.

RW-#43 Anthony Dubruch
Team:Moronto Spitfires
Age:22
Background:A fast player, Anthony has continued to defy the experts. Diagnosed with polio as a child, for years he had to walk with a knee brace and thought he could never play hockey again. However, defying the odds, at the age of 15, he was accepted to the prestigious St.Mark's hockey academy and his play excelled from there. However, in his rookie year, he was involved in a car crash, breaking his right femur, after months of recovery, he came back in the ice and finished his rookie year with 10 points in 3 games. This last season, he got 89 points in 75 games.

RW-#31 Julien LaTrappe
Team:Cowgary Cowboys
Age:28
Background: Born in Laclave, Soviet Canuckistan, Julien has always been under the hockey radar. Not even playing high-level hockey for most of this childhood, at the age of 17, he excelled and was drafted into a Second Division team. From there he stayed a fourth-liner but in his sixth season, defied predictions and began to become a point-a-game player and was quickly introduced to the elite play of the First Division at the ripe age of 24, a late start for many First Division player. Last year, with the Cowboys, he acquired 85 points in 75 games.

LW-#7 Koos van Key
Team:Iqualuit Fighting Narwhals
Age:34
Background:Born to a farm family, hockey was the second biggest activity after harvesting in his tiny community. He quickly outpaced the skill of the rural leagues and at the age of 12 had to move to the large city of Deadmonton to continue his quest for hockey glory. After getting out of high school, he played for a college team in Moscawa before at the age of 22, was drafted to the Fighting Narwhals. As one of the veterans on the team, he'll lead the young players to the international stage.

LW-#13 Ian Ioeusci
Team:Potcouver Pirates
Age:20
Background:Born to the family of one of the founders of the largest insurance company in Soviet Canuckistan, Ian always could have the best hockey equipment. In only his second year of pro hockey, Ian was chosen to help represent Soviet Canuckistan on the world stage, one of the youngest ever to represent SC in hockey.Playing for the Potcouver Pirates in his rookie year, he excelled, marking 100 points in 75 games.

LW-#94 Paul Farnsworth
Team:Deadmonton Zombies
Age:25
Background:Also an accomplished baseball player, Paul is an all-around athlete. Born into a sport-loving family, Paul was introduced to many sports at a young age and excelled at most of them. An accomplished hockey player, last season he got 90 points in 72 games.

LW-#86 Corey Smith
Team:Qualifax Whalers
Age:28
Background:Born into a family of fishermen, Corey hardly had anytime for hockey. However, in the time he did have he excelled and as soon as he turn 18, he quit the family business and began to play hockey. He rose throughout the ranks, quickly becoming a first line player for the Whalers. Last season, he scored 82 points in 67 games.

C-#28 Andrew Pollock
Team:St. Beaversburg Rougnecks
Age:30
Background:One of Soviet Canuckistan's greatest stars, Andrew will be someone to watch. After a stellar year in 2009-2010, setting an SCPHL scoring record with 142 points in 75 games, he's been propelled to stardom. With numerous endorsement deals, he's a household name in Soviet Canuckistan. Last season he scored 135 points in 74 games, making it one of his best seasons to date.

C-#46 Vitali Peunov
Team:Moscawa Beavers
Age:23
Background:An excellent all-around center. Vitali plays good ofensively and almost as well defensively. One of the nation's best players he achieved a stellar 122 points in 75 games last season.

C-#23 Vyecheslav Mistrenko
Team:St.Beaversburg Roughnecks
Age:29
Background:Even though he's on the third line, he's a force to be reckoned with. With a play style similar to that of his teammate Andrew Pollock, he's a scoring machine. Last year, he scored 58 times, making him one of only 12 Canuckistanis to score more than 50 goals in a season and the only one to do it twice in a row.

C-#11 Heinz Kampf
Team:Qualifax Whalers
Age:27
Background:From a poor immigrant family, Heinz overcame poverty to become famous. Living in the poor village of Hiblini, there was only one skating rink in the town and due to being bullied, he often hardly got any time on the arena, however his father made a small one where his practiced his skills to become one of Soviet Canuckistan's best. In his past season, he got 92 points in 74 games, a true accomplishment for a child of poverty.

RD-#56 Alessandro Virilini
Team:Cowgary Cowboys
Age:21
Background:A young star in Canuckistani hockey, with his physical style of play, has earned him the nickname "The Bulldozer." Often compared to Andrew Pollock, and considered his equivalent in defence, this rookie has skill beyond his age. With an impressive 56 assists last year and 74 points, he'll be someone to watch.

RD-#90 Alexander Langdon
Team:Tunguska Patriots
Age:19
Background:The youngest on the team, this kid has something to prove. A tank on the ice, heavy but fast, his physical style of play is unparalleled. In 75 games, he managed to assist 52 goals and scored 10 for a total of 62 points.

RD-#14 Sergei Plovin
Team:HC Chevo
Age:32
Background: Born in the mountains of Canuckistan, Sergei learned about the winter sports at a young age. By the age of 10, he was playing teenagers in organized hockey and excelled. He was drafted first overall by HC Chevo at the age of 18 and has been there ever since. At 30, he's one of the older members and a veteran for the defencemen.

LD-#21 Andre Plamondon-Piquette
Team:Duntreal Revolution(Soviet Quebexico)
Age:26
Background:The only player to play on a Quebexican team, he's a rarity on the team. Despite the war which tore through his homeland, he's in top shape for the cup. With fast reflexes, he can take any situation and make it to his advantage with his speed. A good helper for the team's scorers, he got 55 assists in 75 games last year.

LD-#66 Pieter Sijeppe
Team:Potcouver Pirates
Age:24
Background: A young player from Potcouver, Pieter is for sure a talented player. His quick acceleration help him get back to the point quickly after scoring chances so to not put his team in jeopardy. Last year, with the Pirates, he racked up and impressive 52 assists in only 65 games.

LD-#77 Sven Persson
Team:Camelton Sand Devils(Field Hockey)
Age:23
Background:Playing out of the hot desert city of Camelton, Sven's best sport isn't ice hockey. Growing up for most of his childhood playing field hockey, his field hockey coach showed him ice hockey. After lacing up a pair of skates, he took to the ice easily and progressed to the point where he now represents Soviet Canuckistan on the international stage.

G-#1 Kyle Prefontaine
Team:Iqualuit Fighting Narwhals
Age:21
Background:From a hockey playing family, Prefontaine followed in his father's footsteps to glory. His butterfly style of play is one of the best in Soviet Canuckistan and his blocker hand unparalleled. With a GAA of only 1.67 in 75 games last season with 63 wins, this will be one of the goalies to watch.

G-#32 Viktor Albanski
Team:Esov Thunder
Age:19
Background: Following Oleg Sybanski's retirement from hockey, Albanski was ready to take his place as the only newcomer to the national team. With his last season's GAA of 1.97 and with 58 wins, Albanski brings more youth to a very youthful WCOH 19 team.

Head Coach:Vanier Oloski
Team:Moscawa Beavers
Background: A celebrity and the best known Canuckistani hockey player. He holds 12 records in Canuckistani hockey such as most goals scored ever(910) and most points in a season(172). He's now a hockey commentator and of course the head coach for the Soviet Canuckistan national team.

Fights will most likely be ignited by the guys in FL2 and DP2. Others won't fight unless provoked.

Coaches
Head Coach: Ignacio Pervia
Assistant Coach: Markus Obnik
Trainer: Mo'a Ni-tum

(# - Pos- Name - Age)
Forward Line 1

#11 LW Kyle Bosche (35)
#1 C Aaran Ashby (29)
#34 RW Wilhelm von Üshter (32)

A little unusual for the primary line, these three specialize in pesterance and convoluted strategies. They run a quick, high-passing game meant to confuse and confound their foes and slip the puck by the goalie rather than power it through.

Forward Line 2

#25 LW Karl Woflshtag (28)
#5 C Gunter Ingelhommen (34)
#93 RW Albert Jair (19)

The complete opposite of the first line, Karl, Gunter and Albert run a slow and deliberate pressure game. Keep the puck on the other side of the court and kill time with passive possession until a gap arises, then bash through said gap and slam the puck at the goal with all possible force.

Forward Line 3

#15 LW Jeremiah Kucinich (39)
#00 C Constantine Volproppos (38)
#76 RW Hank Boone (37)

What some may call a line of fossils, we call a line of experience. Though none of the players are as sprite and lithe as they were in their youth, they know hockey inside and out. The name of the game here is exploiting younger, inexperienced opponents, leading them into traps and forcing them into gambits any seasoned player would avoid in an instant.

Forward Line 4

#57 LW Rudrick Hoer (20)
#7 C Heinrick Klein (18)
#3 RW Ci-ga Iwa'oa (16)

A strictly backup line drawn from Falconwhereveryouare's youth hockey leagues. Defensively-minded, as they mostly just eat minutes to give the other lines a breather. Ci-ga does have a penchant for dramatic late-game goals, though.

Defensive Pair 1

#65 LD Franz McClain (31)
#56 RD Joseph Üntermensch (34)

Solid defenders who rarely cross to the other half of the ice; their job is to get the puck to the forward line as quick as possible then set up for possible enemy counters.

Defensive Pair 2

#45 LD Drew Schott (36)
#54 RD Damian Jones (29)

Strong, burly guys who can really intimidate others. Work in tandem with FL2 and FL3 to really wear down opponents.

Defensive Pair 3

#78 LD Payne Aldrich (33)
#87 RD Turis von Guelch (31)

Just a pair of regulars. Do their job, not much else.

Goalies
#4 Jeremy Scherzer (29)
#8 Claude Moerest (32)
#12 Ignacio Valentine (23)

Scherzer is the starter, an average goalie; Moerest is another average goalie, used to give Scherzer a rest; and Valentine is a slightly below average goalie but can attack effectively when pulled out of the net.

Home Stadium

Falconwhereveryouare's home games during the group stage will be played in the Crow's Nest (Cap. 18,900) located in the northern farming city of Umber.

RP Permissions:

Choose goal scoring events: Yes
Godmod goal scoring events: Yes
Penalize players/give game misconducts: Yes

Spiritair Resumes Regular Flights to Kelssek
Doo Joon Park
Spiritair have reopened a direct flights between to Kelssek after the hiatus of 15 years.
The Outineau to Montreal Route, which restarted yesterday, was welcomed by Martin-Claude Leger(OOC: It's made up, as It was not mentioned in your factbook), the Director General of Outineau Dorval Elliot Trudeau International Airport.

The Quebecois national flag carrier, which operates brand-new,state of art B787-8 aircraft just delivered to the carrier, will fly 5 flights per week. It'll connect Montreal, the economic, commercial and cultural capital of Quebec to Outineau, the undisputed hub of arts and culture in Kelssek.

In 1997, It was suspended due to the financial difficulty that the airline faced during the late 1990s, which caused the Montreal-Outineau route to be cut with 17 others at the time.
Now, with 15 years passed, the flight has resumed in reflecting of the growth of traffic, which is due to its hosting of World Cup of Hockey XX and the growing economic ties between the two nations.
Starting with this flight and the planned flight to Kirkenes and Burnaby within a year or two, Spiritair is set to expand its network across the region and the World, as well as being the catalyst of the economic relations between Kelssek and Quebec.

______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Seat 4A(Beside the Window)

The Boeing 787-8, which is able to seat 208 passengers in a single flight, was packed with passengers. They were mostly businessmen and tourists, who were on way to The World Cup of Hockey held in various locations across the nation. The strong 35 members of the Quebecois National Hockey Team were also on board. They, unlike last time, were playing their group matches in the host nation.

On the Seat 4A, Vladimir Tsoi, newbie to the team, was looking into the window. The Sky of Northeastern Flegavia looked pristine, calm and beautiful. It seemed to cover the snowstorm on the Abitibi Region of the Western Quebec, where the plane was flying at
the moment. He was looking forward to play for his national team. And he thought of what happened to him 4 years ago.

He was 16 back then. Already well known as a super player, everyone has speculated that he would make it in, with the possibilty of playing on either First or Second line. However, he played in huge disappointment(at least to perfectionist Beaulieu's standard) and at the last day of the selection, Coach Logan Beaulieu announced that he, along with Irvin Harper and Francois Decarie, were cut. He was immediately shook by it. How could this happen to him, he thought. For 11 years playing Ice Hockey, he faced no obstacles and was successful on every team that he was in.
Soon, he engaged in a vigorous training regime during his Winter Break and worked harder that he ever did in his life. Then, he waited and waited, for another oppourtunity to come to him. And now, he made it.

"Sir. What's your option for the lunch?" The tall Korean flight attendant who's into his 40s asked. Then, Vlad realised that he forgot to look at the menu.
"Wait, "Then, he quickly took a look at the menu. About 20 seconds later, he replied back, "Grilled beef steak with Thyme Sauce please."
"Thank you. It'll be ready in 25 minutes." Then, the flight attendant asked Maxwell, his seatmate, about his choice for menu. Without a hesitation, he chose Bagel with viande fumée d'Outineau and Poutine. After that, the flight attendant left.

"So, what kind of music were you listening?" He asked to Maxwell, who then took off his headphone and replied back. Over the Billow Sky by Pluie Violet. It just went Number 2 on Quebec Recording Association(QRA) Singles Chart.
"Oh, that one. They just staged a comeback?"
"Yeah. They will be back on stage at Kingston Rock Festival at the 14th. Such a shame that I could not be there."
"True." He agreed and continued, wondering, "Is Lauren Ainslie with us on plane today? You know, after all Cadance was there when she performed in WorldVision last year...."
"I think she is. Don't ask for autographs though." Maxwell replied back, with adding mild warning on the second phrase. "Me and Serge did that last time and It didn't....."
"Turn out so well because you guys knocked the door for their Hotel Room while they were having some....business?"
"Exactly."

"Well, you could've been more careful," commented Lionel Demers, one of the Assistant Coaches. He seated right behind Vlad. "If I was you, I would have done it in WorldVision Song Contest last year. Besides, who would've been better to be there for Lauren and Cadance?"
"You know I had Training Camp back then, Lion." replied Maxwell, who seemed to be pissed off. "And you know how Coach(referring to Logan Beaulieu, his QHL Team coach) would reply."
"Yeah, then how did Mr. Molsson got excused out of his training camp? It's hypocritic."
Vlad shot back quickly, which briefly surprised both players. Vlad was a very nice person, and seemed unlikely to do so. "Well, goaltenders definitely need fewer time to practice. And Maxwell, you know that Cadance is much faster at getting his body warmed up. So, he usually arrives late into the training camp."
"True."

Then, Maxwell and Vladimir continued to talk for an hour before and after the lunch, and went to a long sleep after that. For others, they were doing things of their own, whether that was playing Flow in iPad(Lomer Decarie), flirting with a flight attendant(Etienne Park) or listening to 2 hours of Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake(John Lane).
