Head Coach

Felipe Hernandez, was hired by the WG Soccer Board of Directors on July 1, 2012 as the new head coach for the WG Soccer team. Over all his experience in the coaching field is a wide variety. He was formally part of the Gemsbrook United soccer club of the United Soccer League from 2001 until he was traded to the Port Salem AFC. He retired from the USL having been part of three league championship teams. Two from Gemsbrook United (2003 & 2004), and the only league title Port Salem has won in 2008, that year he retired.
He was for one season in 2011 the intern head coach of FC George in which the team that year finished with a 3-6-9 record.
Under his direction the WGSBoD hopes that he will continue to keep the team rising to new heights

Ipeland squad for World Cup 61
With the nation thrown into disarray after the Wight affected earthquake, and the professional league disbanded midway through this year, the government has decided to send the only team that was outside the country at the time, the AOCAF team.

GK: James Gunn - Walkden University - 21 - 187cm
James Gunn is still one of Walkden University's biggest players, contributing to another league win with some top quality goalkeeping. There was a small controversy over whether he should be allowed to play, which lead to a change in the age limit in the league, brought up to 24.

RD - Justin Bailey - Trumpton University - 19 - 189cm
A decent defender, good enough for this team in any case. A very hard tackler, loud and often argues with officials for extended periods of time, which had lead to lots of cards, setting the record for the highest number of cards in a season in Ipeland, with 28 yellows and 7 reds.

CD: Colin Fielder - Caelon University - 20 - 176cm
Much the same person as last time, except for being a few years older and a few centimetres taller. Hard tackling style and tendency to get into trouble with the refs for whatever reason is only outmatched by Bailey. The two of them will make a perfect partnership at the back, hopefully not causing any damage.

CD: James Sharp - Pendleton Technical College - 18 - 179cm
A defender who has changed radically over the two years since he played in AOCAF 35, in contrast to the rest of the team, who haven't changed much at all. Much better player than last time out with almost perfect passing, and rather good marking. His intelligence appears to have increased a lot too.

LD: D.J. Canavan - Eccles University - 20 - 176m
The same as last time, average player, who can do most things decently. Is about average height for his age and average weight.

RM: Sebastion Cichon - University of the Vant Isles - 19 - 177cm
Cichon appears to be a great prospect, and many clubs are going to want to buy him when he moves out of university in a few years time. Great crossing which would make most wingers jealous. Finishing is another strong point of his, scoring in most games, often with a powerful shot from the edge of the area.

CM: Alex Carting - Walkden University - 18 - 176cm
The best known player in the squad, and by far the one with the most caps and international goals. Returning to the squad after not featuring in the last AOCAF, recovering from an ankle injury before being struck down with flu, which made the teams progress harder than usual. Back in the squad, fully fit (we hope).

LM: Danny Potter - Universty Burnden - 17 - 165cm
Small for his age, which in turn make him more agile than most. Probably the best player in Burnden's poor squad, the top scorer in the team and the player with the most assists. Considered the second best winger in the league behind Cichon. Good crossing and finishing. Studies Art.

AMR: Ravania Frattastan - University of the Vant Isles - 21 - 173cm
Good attacking midfielder, more devoted to her studies than to football, but included in the squad to encourage her to focus on football. Half decent passing and very fast.

ST - Matthew Taylor - Eccles University - 18 - 184cm
A surprise inclusion last time and even more surprising this times. Taylor is considered one of the worst attackers in the students league. Now a bench warmer after a string of consistently bad performances. His only merit is long throw-ins.

AML: John Carting - Eccles University - 19 - 176cm
Cousin of Alex who also plays football for a different university. Progressed rather well over the two years he has been playing, now better at throw-ins than before, and improving on his penalties.

GK – Dave Lister [Series I-Back to Earth]

The last human male alive in the universe due to an accident leaving him in stasis for three million years, and has been a main character throughout the show. He wrongly thinks he is a fantastic guitarist, he is lazy and dirty. His life dream was to buy a small farm on Fiji. He is normally dressed in a leather jacket and hat, and his two best shirts have curry stains down the front of them.

RD - Duane Dibbley [Series V, Series VI, Series VIII]

Duane Dibbley is the dorky alter-ego of the Cat, who has a pudding basin haircut and big overbite. Ace Rimmer describes him as "looking so geeky, he couldn't even get into a science fiction convention".

CD – Arnold Rimmer [Series I-Back to Earth]

Lister's bunkmate brought back to life as a hologram to keep Lister sane. He is unpopular with his crew mates, and is often the target of insults and pranks. He wore an "H" symbol on his forehead, which stands for "Hologram", but this has since gone.

CD – Ace Rimmer [Series IV, Series VI, Series VII]

An alter-ego of Arnold Rimmer, who is modest despite being a popular, knowledgeable daredevil hero. Anyone who comes into contact with Ace exclaims "What a guy!" in adoration.

CD – Kristine Kochanski [Series I, Series II, Series VI, Series VII-Back to Earth]

Red Dwarf's Navigation Officer who was the object of Lister's lust before she was killed by a radiation leak. In Series VII, the crew discover an alternate universe where Kochanski survived with Lister as her hologram. She ends up stuck on Starbug and becomes one of the crew.

LD – Olaf Petersen [Series I, mentioned many times]

A Danish catering officer on the Red Dwarf mining vessel, and best friend of Lister. He and Lister's other friends spend their free time getting drunk. Killed with the other crew in the Radiation leak

RM – Ramses Niblick the Third Kerplunk Kerplunk Oops Where's My Thribble [Series IV (mentioned)] (Not that one)

A former friend of Kryten, who, like Holly, suffers from computer senility. His real name is Gilbert. He popped up in a conversation about computer senility.

CM – Frankenstein [Series I]

Frankenstein was a common housecat, who was sealed in the hold when the radiation leak happened. The Cat calls Frankenstein the Holy Mother.

LM – Kryten [Series II, Series III-Back to Earth]

Kryten is a neurotic Series 4000 mechanoid robotic servant. He is humanoid, with the exception of the flat cubical face and head. Once the personal servant of three attractive female crew members of the Nova 5, he was found and rescued by Lister who has been teaching Kryten to "break his programming" in order to develop his own personality and develop human character faults (such as the ability to lie).

ST – Talkie Toaster [Series I, Series IV]

An annoying talking toaster, who offers toasted stuff at every possible opportunity. He was destroyed with a 14lb lump hammer by Lister, before being repaired by Kryten.

ST – The Cat [Series I-Back to Earth]

A humanoid descendant of a modern house cat called Frankenstein, which had been Lister's pet cat. The cat society (Felis erectus) left Red Dwarf seeking the promised land, leaving behind those who were too ill or old to travel. The Cat is the son of the cripple and the idiot.

GK - Holly [Series I-V, VII, VIII, Back to Earth]

Holly is the ships' computer. Holly's user interface appears on the ship's screens as a disembodied human head on a black background, he can also be downloaded onto most television screens, and can roam around on a monitor mounted on a cart. Holly regularly proclaims that he has an IQ of 6000, though there are frequent references to the fact that it is now much lower due to three million years alone, referred to as "computer senility."

CD – Quagaar warrior [Series I (mentioned)]

The Quagaars are an alien species made up by Rimmer, after a garbage pod entered the ship. The warrior is essentially a discarded roast chicken.

LM – Mr. Flibble [Series V]

A hand puppet penguin used by Rimmer when he was taken over by 'Hex virus', often 'Very cross.'

CM - Queeg [Series II]

Queeg was a practical joke played by Holly to make him appreciate him being there. Queeg claims that Holly's IQ is not 6,000 but 6 and that Holly gets his information from a children's science book. He uses an oppressive command style and is prone to unprovoked angry outbursts.

ST - Skutter [Series I, Series III, Series VIII, Back to Earth]

A motorised service and maintenance robot. A 2 feet tall motorized box, with one limb, with three claws on the end. Skutters' behaviour is rather human like, they play cowboys-and-Indians, enjoy watching films and often gives the finger to Rimmer

Expecting to compete in the World Cup without Captain Luke Parrish, the West Angolan Football Team entered with much trepidation. Losing the face and captain of one's team is certainly a blow, but the team was stunned by Parrish's unexpected return, and now hope to improve upon their oh-so-close qualifying run of World Cup 60.

In winter, flooding can strand vehicles in the heavily-populated area around Mission Valley Stadium in San Diego, which is actually an emergency shelter in wildfire season. In the course of extreme-weather RP, you may injure one of my players if realism dictates it must happen. Do not kill anyone named in this post.

The Harvest Mice weren't expected to do much when they debuted for World Cup 60 qualifying after missing the registration date for the Baptism of Fire that has traditionally honed the mettle of new nations. When the plucky Califans finished 4-3-7, just a point out of fourth place, they were shocked to do better than 7th. A 2-2 upset draw against Unibot followed by an even bigger 0-0 upset draw against Bostopia were perhaps the highlights of the Group 12 action for FSC, but they also pasted fellow unranked competitors Corderock and finished even on series with Cult of Ashley Greene and Monastery-on-the-Rock before taking another 2 points away from Unibot with a 0-0 draw.

Despite the unexpected successes along the way, South Califas pundits have warned that a group softened by Bostopia's body blows week in and week out inflated the Mice's results. While there is much difference of opinion about the way forward, the players came to agree that it would be wise to hire a manager with experience in international competition rather than relying on the player-manager system. After a characteristically long and confusing election, the players decided to bring on [nation=Osarius]Osarian[/nation] club manager Oswaldo Garabona, formerly of the Violia club (as manager) and Grasshoppers Turic (as captain). Garabona was considered a good fit for the flexible, unorthodox, somewhat unpredictable, anarchic improvisational style of the Harvest Mice. Nicknamed "El Loco", Garabona is known for using bizarre and innovative formations and controversial substitutions, as well as for giving the general air of a used car salesman.

Given the strength and resilience shown by the ragtag band of footballers from World Cup 60, Garabona has decided to bring back the entire roster and start with a wing-heavy defensive formation, from which the quick-thinking Califans--honed by the total-football-like demands of El Metodo--can rapidly shift into a counterattacking form to catch opponents off guard.

The man is still around and it looks like he will be at least for the coming years. Hes only a stop gap to be sure, they don't really want to use him, and i am sure the fans from New Capetown will be ok with out him being used.

His play has now gotten the eye of the National team to turn his way and he will now be joining the team. But will he have an impact, will he even play. Well looking at the rest of the young defense its quite up for grabs out there.

Hopefully he is not related to the Jaffacake we all know from Audioslavia, but if they ever find out he is there may be some interesting times ahead for the Knights. It may seem surprising to some to see such a young player now starting, but with the little options elsewhere it seems quite likely that the young man from Moresville will be a starter for a long time to come.

Theodore Vanswoi RB- Atlantea Hurricanes #4, 78 Caps, 28 Years Old
The only holdover from the Knights defense of 1 year ago. He will look to lead by example in the back line. From Atlantea to Valanora he will probably be the sole reason the defense lacks holes at times, and the sole reason they have a chance to stop them.

Jeremiah Longwaters LB- Gordonopia FC (United Gordonopia) #7, 0 Caps, 18 Years Old
Well it looks like the former Di Bradini Cup winner won't have to wait long for his chance at starting in the big time. With the move to the national team he was also released from having to not play club football professionally and was quickly signed by one of the rising teams in United Gordonopia.

Grant Wetter CB- Tevio(Passo Tonale) #9, 0 Caps, 21 Years Old
The man who may have cost his team the chance to win a second Di Bradini cup with a bad mistake against Polar Islandstates didn't have to feel to bad about it as he quickly was called up to the senior side after that mistake. At least he doesn't have to worry about being remembered about that for the rest of his life.

A problem with many professional teams is the inability to get two center backs to sync. Not so in Taeshan the Knights not only will get an already acquainted coupling in Lydie and Jordan Jaffacake, but a very good one. Though Moresville isn't known for his defense. They also get a hot young latin sex symbol in Lydie and i for one see the good possibilities for them.

The Starblaydi squad that Fr. Juan the Fifth Takilan has selected is, strangely, exactly the same as the side he picked for the 23rd Di Bradini Cup and, in a total shocker, the 36th AOCAF Cup. This is entirely to plan, of course, as thanks to the Elves declining to play for Starblaydia any longer, every current Starblaydi international with any experience to their name is already well into their mid-thirties and haven't played at senior international level for a good fifteen years.

This squad is designed to be the foundation of Starblaydia's international future for the next decade, creating recognisable names and faces for the football public to look up to, emulate and exceed. In time, perhaps, the Elves will return, Dwarves will come forward and new players will join the team, but for now, get used to this side. Yes, having 15 year olds as reserve players probably isn't the greatest idea, but rather 15 year olds for the future than 35 year olds for one time only.

These players are OOCly still appearing at the 36th AOCAF (ICly a year or two before the World Cup itself) coming into this tournament, so Cap and Goal information may well change as a result of the AOCAF results in the run up to MD1.

Before the last match of the BoF for Phoenixia the team presented the rooster for the qualification. A fifth place in the group phase and a 5-2 against the Nordic Lands of Skyrim were the highlights of the tournament, a 0-2 against Balma the worst moment. After all 2 draws, one victory and two defeats are not enough for the round of the top 16 or the playoffs.

#1 Lukas Eirikson, yes you heard right, I say Eirikson as in our King but they have no blood relationship. Anyway he is 20 years old and a good example for the whole chart. Since two years he plays in Benadigaro and hold the record for the most games with no goals so he was the logical choice for this team.

Defenders:
#2 Jakob Grietson 23 years old right defence captain of the team, raised from humble homes and proud of it. Football is his live and everyone who has the malevolence to play against him will congratulate the team for this man.
#4 Daniel 'the Iron Duke' Janson 20 years old left defence, the nickname sayed it this man is responsible for 5 major injuries, 3 bone crushs and the best statistic a team in Phoenixia ever had 58 goals to 4.
#6 Robert Frederikson 18 years center defense, nothing to say about him, silent guy who did his job with ease, no suprise on this position.
#7 Nils Gudwinson 22 years, center defense, comrade of Frederikson and Eirikson, together the two are responsible for 20 matchs without failure and a secure championship in Benadigaro

Middlefield:
#3 Lars Olsen 18 years right middlefield, brilliant in his debut season and got the spot without questions. 8 Goals, 10 Assists and 5 Men of the Match Honors speaks a clear language.
#5 Rio Rioson 18 years old left middlefield, immigrant from Columbo, lost his family early in his life and changed his last name to Rioson shortly before he was elected for this tourament. Valuable, talented Player but equipped with the temperament of his birth Nation
#8 Karl Gudmer 20 years offensive middlefield, questionable but a good player if he's in the right mood. Shoot 4 goals in a single game but his season yield only contents 14 goals.
#18 William Blonquist 23 years defence middlefield, player above average with a good sprint and a look for counters, offensive variant of Lukas Stefano. Only change in the rooster in relation to the BoF, a logic choice considering his game against Skyrim with 2 assists including the important 1-0 in the tenth minute.

Attack:
#11 Andreas Stenko 20 years Attack, son of immigrants. His father prefered a 'healthy career' for his son but after the first year in the league of Phoenixia he changed his mind. 50 Goals in two years, artist in regard of free kicks and a height of 2,10 metre makes this player unquestionable even more after his 5 goals out of 4 games, unfortunately 4 of them in the game against Skyrim as the team already lost the chance to go further than the third place.
#12 Jan Urquarth 18 years Attack, they last name characterize the player very good, 20 goals in the last season but also 3 red cards for unnecessary violence against the goalkeeper. But he promised a change in that. So far he was reliable and scored one goal against Skyrim.

Reserve:
#10 Edwin Karlson 16 years right defence, inexperienced but talented.
#13 William Jansson 18 years, Attack, not related with Daniel Janson. 16 goals in his first season, this year he will play the rule of a joker but he hopes for more in the next edition of the world cup.
#14 Ila Bergson 20 years left defence, unconvential name paired with a unconvential player, a force to be recognised and damm proud of it.
#15 Holger Gudwin 18 years allrounder, a talent found shortly before the tourament, good player for the middlefield but others than that he had no plans for a position
#16 Simon Wolf, an oldie in relation to the rest of the team, 30 years old and this will be most likely his last grand tourament. He is a experienced goalkeeper but he was at no time more than above average. Be that as it may he is the number 2 in the Goalkeeper Position.
#17 Jens Holgerson, only 16 years old and the rising star in Phoenixia. His nomination was a suprise for many journalists but he have earned this post with two good seasons in the college league.
#9 Lukas Stefano 24 years, defensive middlefield, got the tendency of the golden pass but his main advantage is the great defence work. Played in Heythor since 5 years.
Coach: Jens Rigerson 35, in his past a valuable player who never became the chance to play in a international tourament. Prefered a 4-4-2 system.

Sir James heads into another World Cup qualifying cycle with expectations greater than ever. Yesopalitha will most likely be one of the last seeds in the second pod, which means that they will most likely be second seeded in their group; this will at least have fans expecting for a World Cup Proper-qualifying playoff berth. He has definitely won over the locker room with his style of coaching that involves hard love and compliments. Now, he just needs a breakout season that sees the Flames through in order to cement his place in the whether young history of Yesopalithan football...

The Style

The Formation: 3-5-2 (-1 Style Modifier)

The Yesopalithan game has started to become one based on solid defense and rapid counterattacks that catch the other side off balance. The side wingers in the midfield are responsible for helping out the defense as much as required and to push the ball up to the middle three midfielders and the two forwards. There won't be many close-up goals, and headers are almost unheard of except via corner kicks. For Yesopalitha to win by more than two goals in a game is for the team to have a good offensive game. On defense, they concentrate on keeping the ball away from the penalty box; if this means committing a foul and giving up a free kick, they'll give up that free kick. At times, the goalkeeper is called to be the lone man guarding the net, and he/she must be able to face one-on-one situations...

Goalkeeper: #0 Jonah CALHOUN Age: 25 Height: 6 feet, 6 inches Caps: 22 Goals Allowed: 21
Fresh off of the inaugural Yesopalithan Football League title, Unbidden United's Jonah Calhoun will be guarding the net for the Flames yet again. Averaging less than one goal given up per appearance, he has become better at handling set pieces, which was his Achilles' heel in previous years. With a lot of good years ahead of him, Calhoun is just settling into his second cycle and looking to turn in more brilliant performances. Another aspect of his game that he is getting very good at is communicating with Galvin, Von Helz, and Kevin - his gesturing and signalling has helped the three defenders help out on offense if he didn't need their help. The fact that this kid's game should only go up even yet is an encouraging sign for this team.

Left Back: #22 Noah GALVIN Age: 27 Height: 6 feet, 3 inches Caps: 34 Goals: 1 Assists: 0
Still playing for the Hoxford Rovers of Valladares, Galvin's game of selfless play and sacrificing his body has led to minor injuries over the years but also a solid defensive performance that has only conceded a goal a game the last two cycles. The eldest of the three backs for the Flames, he is responsible for relaying Jonah's messages to his fellow defenders with the hope that they can be instrumental in any part of play that they can help out on. He may be the third eldest player on the team, but his youth and exuberance are still overflowing with confidence and mirth, leading to Sir James stating, "I can't imagine our squad without Noah."

Center Back: #19 Naisi VON HELZ Age: 20 Height: 6 feet, 2 inches Caps: 18 Goals: 0 Assists: 0
Recently signed with Unbidden United of the Yesopalithan Football League, Naisi is a bright youngster who got on the team by stealing the ball from Hilary Vander Rox five times in a charity game. He stood up well to his billing his first cycle with this squad, and will now be relied on to stand alone at times during games so that Noah and Michael can help out the attack if they need to. Jonah seems to be confident in Naisi as they will be the only two guarding the net for approximately seven minutes in every game.

With RC Corania being relegated in the Valladares league, Michael asked to be traded, and he was traded to the Hoxford Rovers to be with his Yesopalithan NT teammate Noah Galvin. The shortest of the Yesopalithan defense, he is a fierce tackler and a fundamentally sound player. One-on-one situations continue to be his weak spot, but he has been working on it extensively over multiple seasons with the hope that he will not be the weak point in what is a growing, amazing defensive backfield.

Left Winger: #58 Ivan DOSTOEVICH Age: 29 Height: 6 feet, 5 inches Caps: 34 Goals: 1 Assists: 0
One of Yesopalitha's players with Celtic Southland of The Babbage Islands, Ivan is the master of the "ball that leads to the assist". If such a stat was kept, he would be the leader of the team in it. He is responsible for precise, deft passes up the sidelines that have become an integral part of the Yesopalithan counterattacking scheme, resulting in fast goals that surprise the opposing defense. He may not flash on the stats line very often, but his play does translate to the W, D, or L for the Flames.

Left Attacking Midfielder: #42 Isaac JACK-BENTLEY VICE CAPTAIN Age: 24 Height: 6 feet, 2 inches Caps: 34 Goals: 18 Assists: 8
With the disappearance of Erathii football on the international scene, young Isaac changed his team from Eliodoro City to Bayern-Algaer of Taeshan. The "Third Man" of the Yesopalithan attack behind Hilary and Jane Vander Rox, Isaac has shown that he is indeed a vital part of this team, often responsible for crosses and passes that drop into place exactly where they need to be while providing spirited play on both sides of the ball. He is four years Hilary's junior, meaning that he may still have a chance with being the Captain some day, but for now, he'll be content with the Vice-Captain position, still learning, still contributing, still playing.

Center Attacking Midfielder: #55 Hilary VANDER ROX CAPTAIN Age: 28 Height: 6 feet, 4 inches Caps: 60 Goals: 34 Assists: 13
Being a key part of both the Yesopalithan National Team and the Kionao Locals of Turori has become a part of everyday life for the face of Yesopalithan football. Now entering her sixty-first game and fourth World Cup Qualifying Cycle, Hilary's legacy will only be furthered if her team makes it to the World Cup Proper. Even though she may have lost a step on her game due to age, the experience and know-how that she has accumulated over the last eight years will no doubt help her become a better Captain than ever before. Also, the other pieces around her, Jane, Isaac, and Nadya, to name a few, will take some of the pressure off of her shoulders as she tries to lead this team to where it hasn't been able to go so far. Everybody knows that this cycle, just like all the others before it, the Flames will go as far as Hilary takes them.

Right Attacking Midfielder: #7 Fantasia CECILE-MARIE Age: 26 Height: 5 feet, 11 inches Caps: 34 Goals: 2 Assists: 2
The only female player in the Astograthian Football League, Fantasia is another player, like Ivan, who supplies steady contributions without being on the scorecard very often. Finesse and passing will always be the defining aspects of her game, as she prefers passing to shooting and will get the ball to the ones who can make positive contributions with it. Sir James is trying to instill a sense of knowing when it is okay to take the shot within her, but it isn't going so well. Many fans say, "Why try to fix what isn't broke?", but adding another dimension to her game, a dimension that results in her scoring herself, may be just what it takes to push Fantasia to the next level of being an international football player.

Right Winger: #35 Jane VANDER ROX Age: 25 Height: 6 feet, 0 inches Caps: 60 Goals: 11 Assists: 9
As if conceding to the limelight of her sister wasn't selfless enough, Jane Vander Rox, another sixty-game starter and the leader of Avengers United of the Yesopalithan Football League, gave up her Vice-Captain spot to Isaac Jack-Bentley, stating that Jack-Bentley deserved it more. This was surprising for the Flames fans thought that Jane would be emerging from her sister's shadow soon. Perhaps, Jane is content with being in the background, letting her sister and Isaac take both the criticism and the praise while she focuses on being a positive contributor to the team in any way that she possibly can. Her international career, started on the tender age of seventeen, still has as long ways to run.

Left Striker: #21 Nadya DOSTOEVICH Age: 21 (Vampire) Height: 5 feet, 2 inches Caps: 60 Goals: 23 Assists: 10
The only Unbidden member of the squad, and immortal, Nadya's game continues to evolve. An instinctive striker with unnatural speed that leaves defenders flailing, she has added passing to her game as well, contributing three assists apiece in both World Cup 60 Qualifying and the 52nd edition of the Cup of Harmony. Celtic-Southland is where she calls home during the off-season, but Nadya was and will always be a true Yesopalithan at heart. Projected to be around for as long as the Yesopalithan National Team exists, Nadya seems to be in no rush to enjoy every moment and every game.

Right Striker: #77 Quincy DEMITRIUS-ADAMS Age: 32 Height: 6 feet, 0 inches Caps: 34 Goals: 3 Assists: 3
After the World Cup 60 Qualifying Cycle and the 52nd Cup of Harmony, Quincy announced that the next cycle, WC 61, would be his last, and that afterwards, he will be retiring from the game. The news came as a surprise to most football fans, for Quincy had calmed down his fireball style of the old days to become a respectable player with a hard work ethic and a great personality. Though he doesn't have many statistics to back up his role on this team, he has been essential, as all the others, in turning this team from a doormat of international football to becoming a top-fifty team. He will be sorely missed once the tournament concludes, but for now, the most senior member on this team continues to press forward, looking for that first World Cup proper berth.

Goalkeeper: #1 Terrance HOUSEN Age: 21 Height: 6 feet, 8 inches Caps: 10 Goals Allowed: 8
Noah's rival in Yesopalitha Football League play as the starting keeper for North Hampton City, Terrance has had two solid tournaments with the U-21 team, leading the squad to the first Quarterfinals finish in Yesopalithan U-21 history. Though he probably won't get much playing time behind Jonah, Terrance is looking forward to learning more from his rival, mentor, and friend, to build up for the day when he will take over.

Left Back: #12 Marcus YERSAU Age: 20 Height: 6 feet, 0 inches Caps: 10 Goals: 0 Assists: 0
Marcus will be playing for North Hampton City next YFL season, but for now, he is responsible for backing up Noah Galvin, his mentor and friend. Though he still doesn't have the tackling ability of Noah, he has been learning lots and improving drastically. If Noah does go down for some reason, Marcus should do well enough in his stead.

Center Back: #14 JeMichael TERN Age: 21 Height: 5 feet 11 inches Caps: 10 Goals: 0 Assists: 0
JeMichael has become more used to slowing down and not over-committing to situations, with Naisi's help. This landed him a spot at Freedom's Altar FC, which will definitely need defensive help the next season in the YFL. He will still need time to smooth over more rough spots, but there is definitely hope for this kid.

Justinian came through big time on the young Sparks' 2-0 win over Rustika in the Round of 16 in the recent Di Bradini Cup, contributing two assists in the Sparks' win. He will be joining Jane Vander Rox at Avengers United next season, bringing with him the skills and tricks that he learned from the normally silent Ivan.

Left Attacking Midfielder: #41 Kathryn VANASSE Age: 16 Height: 5 feet, 5 inches Caps: 5 Goals: 1 Assists: 0
Signed by the New Hazingafar Knights, the high-energy speeding midfielder seems ready to run miles and miles with her never-ending lope. Isaac will be around for a ways yet, but having his younger, female counterpart for unforeseen situations will not hurt one single bit.

Center Attacking Midfielder: #71 Clarence PATTERSON Age: 17 Height: 6 feet, 4 inches Caps: 5 Goals: 1 Assists: 1
Awed by the fact that "DP" will be engraved on Flames uniforms from here on out, young Clarence, cousin with the deceased David, will try to show why the Freedom's Altar Holy Templars decided to sign him for the next season. As he achieved peace with himself in the recent Di Bradini Cup, he became a more even player, and although the chances of substituting for Hilary are very slim, he will seek to learn more from the leader of the Flames, and perhaps maybe even make an appearance or two during garbage time if the Flames are ahead by a few goals.

Right Attacking Midfielder: #11 PARK Sung Hwan Age: 18 Height: 5 feet, 7 inches Caps: 5 Goals: 1 Assists: 1
Also signed by North Hampton City, Hwan is a slow but steady learner. It may take him twice as long to learn a fact, but when learnt, he never forgets. Turning a pure striker into a midfielder isn't easy, but it seems that he himself is up to the task, which is always the first part of every learning process. Fantasia doesn't get injured too easily, but Park may be asked to come in at times.

Right Winger: #19 Jacques KEMP Age: 18 Height: 6 feet, 0 inches Caps: 5 Goals: 1 Assists: 2
Freedom's Altar FC has gained a great player with stamina for the next season of the YFL. Though Jane is a player who pretty much never gets sick, Jacques has been recommended by Jane to be substituted in for any of the midfield positions, meaning that he may see more playing time than other reserves. Of the midfielders, he seems more ready for the international senior team games than any of the others.

Left Striker: #81 Brianna CARHEIM Age: 21 Height: 6 feet 1 inch Caps: 10 Goals: 6 Assists: 0
After disappearing off the map between DBC 20 and 23, Carheim became a primary scorer for the young Sparks, and was signed by New Hazingafar FC. A natural striker like Nadya, she is also trying to develop the assist game like her mentor and Vampire friend. Also good at playing the right forward position, she is definitely in the running for Demitrius-Adams's spot at the end of this cup.

Right Striker: #62 Victoria HELLION Age: 19 Height: 5 feet 8 inches Caps: 5 Goals: 1 Assists: 0
Also an Avengers United player-to-be, Victoria is still pretty raw with her skills but has tremendous upside due to her work ethic. She may not be the forerunner to take Demitrius-Adams's spot, but she will definitely be around for years to come due to her sparkling personality and locker room presence.

The Bench

Striker: #35 Zeandor MARIONAS Age: 20 Height: 5 feet 10 inches Caps: 0 Goals: 0 Assists: 0
Rounding out the twenty-three man squad is Zeandor Marionas, the most decorated striker in Yesopalithan collegiate sports history. He has a great first step that leaves defenders gasping for air, as well as a presence on the field that demands attention, leaving his teammates open. He is a wild card to be including on this squad, but will most likely contribute positively if called upon to play.
