Rugby Season 3

Season Two had many good things for Ko-orenite Rugby: Greenblue teams in the Seasogs performed exceptionally well, though for instance Corona Australis did not survive one round:

Preliminary Round
Port Kostas Bruisers (CMW) 17–13 Corona Australis (KOR)
Cassiopeia (KOR) 19–7 Frbiba (MCS)

Qualification Round
Narahafsai (FLN) 10–3 Cassiopeia (KOR)
Vulpecula (KOR) 17–0 RFC Amman Glen (TYL)

Group Stage
Group B Pld W D L PF PA PD Pts

2 Narahafsai 6 4 0 2 89 59 +30 16 25–23 — 13–14 15–6
3 Lyra 6 4 0 2 43 61 −18 16 0–20 3–7 — 13–12
4 New Leeds Rugby 6 0 0 6 28 115 −87 0 0–13 3–24 0–3 —

Group C Pld W D L PF PA PD Pts

3 Sparrey Speed 6 3 1 2 51 61 −10 14 3–34 8–5 — 23–8
4 Visiharu 6 0 0 6 32 94 −62 0 0–10 10–21 7–14 —

Round of Sixteen
Northbrook Harlequins (PIS) 17–6 Vulpecula (KOR)

This means that Vulpecula came in during the Qualification Round and manage to elbow itself between the best 16 teams of the world. Lyra had all the bad luck of the world as their group saw three teams 4-0-2, yet Lyra lost one match 20-0 (vs. Northbrook Harlequins) to lose the second place. This makes Narahafsai the enemy of the nation, shutting out both Cassiopeia and Lyra from the tournament. Lyra did win their three away matches, (3-0-0), yet the home record was (1-0-2). For Vulpecula, this was (3-1-2) over all matches: home (1-1-1) and away (2-0-1). Informal records mentioned that KRA has requested the organization to only play away games from next season on. Largest victory was for Vulpecula, who beat RFC Amman Glen 17-0 in the Qualification Round.

SEASON 3:

Seasogs Qualifiers:

Vulpecula
Monoceros
Lyra
Aquila

----
While Cassiopeia did not at all do bad in the previous season and the seasogs, they lost the momentum and dropped to a 6th place this season. Corona Australis lost their place as well, to 5th. Monoceros and Aquila are the big victors this season: they came in 2nd and 4th and qualified for Seasogs. Monoceros came from a 6th place last year and Aquila improved from 7th to 4th. The three last teams are the same as last season's: Phoenix, Corona Borealis and Andromeda are still stuck in the last three places.

Gridiron Season 2

After repeated complaints by teams and coaching staff, that the schedule was too ambitious, the national association has cut back matches in the first conference round back by half: instead of 2 full round-robins, only one is played, giving 10 instead of 20 matches by the end of the conference round. The second round has been kept as is, which means that teams play 28 matches in a season: 10 in regional conferences, 18 in the leagues.

Ko-oren Qualifiers:

Alara Astronauts
Endev Explosions
Uzhotu Reflect
Vnoskjulung Moonlight

---
We can see that there is only one team that has had a good first and second season: Alara Astronauts. Last year's 4th place, this years champion and that means they are the only team qualifying for the second time. Last years qualifiers: Tireniun Wai, Hogone Tortoises and Ko-oren Capitals are now ranked 11th, 22nd and 6th respectively, so that Tireniun and Hogone are even in the Middle and Low League.

On the other hand, Endev Explosions, Uzhotu Reflect and Vnoskjulung Moonlight have done much better than last year, when they ranked 13th, 22nd and 8th respectively. The biggest fall is by the Arelothun Emperors: from last years 6th to this years 26th.

At the bottom we find Aj Uin State Skies, Ursannun Silver and Kastundun Kytes, who also ranked around these places last year (28th, 25th and 30th).

Sraltlur Ice's poor CHL results are reflected by their post-Playoff ranking: only 2 points has got them the last place. Maethoru State Team, a relatively small team that has had a lot of luck to even reach the playoffs had the least to lose and the dream continued after 5 out of 6 victories: 15 points and the first place. Othushun State also clinched a CHL place and are now allowed to relive the last season, where they heroically won the preliminary round.

CHL Qualifiers:

Ko-oren Capitals

Ko-oren has had a decent run at the IUBC. The four teams entered all did their best and showed that Basketball in Ko-oren is increasingly popular. In the first (preliminary) round, Aj Uin Elves beat the Chaux Chargers, while the Kangutsu Blues were eliminated by Selyne Olympics.

In the Qualification round, the Aj Uin Elves faced the Sishinova White Diamonds, aka a home match for both teams. Aj Uin Elves were the better in this one, and beat SWD 77-66. The Ka Uin Tazers were the fourth Ko-orenite team, and they lost 60-83 against Sparrey Miners. All in all this meant one team would go on to the group stage.

In the group stage, Aj Uin was in Group F, together with the Votto Toren Buccaneers, the Sterling City Tigers and Highway 89 Hornets. Aj Uin was eliminated after a 1-5 run. The only win was in the last match day against H89H, 100-68.

Season FOUR of the KNBL:

 1 Sishinova White Diamonds 30 25 5 2436 2140 +296 75 Regular Season Champions, Playoffs
2 Ka Uin Tazers 30 21 9 2364 2083 +281 63 Playoffs
3 Jeknolr Dominators 30 20 10 2338 2161 +177 60 Playoffs
4 Kangutsu Blues 30 18 10 2328 2124 +204 56 Playoffs
5 Aj Uin Elves 30 17 12 2262 2130 +132 52 Playoffs
6 Othushun Giants 30 16 12 2326 2192 +134 50 Playoffs
7 Ong Westerners 30 16 13 2297 2198 +99 49 Playoffs
8 Kthosl Lions 30 16 13 2217 2220 −3 49 Playoffs

9 Rabth Eagles 30 16 14 2244 2255 −11 48
10 Vnoskjulung Bears 30 12 18 2143 2228 −85 36
11 Hogone Sapphires 30 11 18 2144 2295 −151 34
12 Maethoru Blizzards 30 11 19 2135 2299 −164 33
13 Arelothun Lords 30 10 19 2105 2260 −155 31
14 Uzhotu Silvers 30 10 20 2200 2409 −209 30
15 Engbrothun Marines 30 9 21 2165 2447 −282 27
16 Ko-oren Capitals 30 7 22 2095 2358 −263 22

And that makes the Sishinova White Diamonds the regular season champions! With 75 points, they completely overturned the last few seasons, where SWD never managed to clinch the regular season title. Last year was dominated by the Ka Uin Tazers, who got the regular season and the playoff titles, whereas they are 12 points short this season. The top eight teams will qualify for the playoffs, and comparing these teams to last year's teams, we can see that the Ong Westerners have secured a place, while the Arelothun Lords lost their place and fell to 13th (!) place. Like last year, Ko-oren Capitals came in last, while Uzhotu Silvers and Vnoskjulung Bears came in 14th and 10th (!) this year. Engbrothun Marines had a decent 12th place finish last year but gave it up this season.

Playoff round one, with 1 v. 8, 2 v. 7, 3 v. 6 and 4 v. 5. The expectation would be that every 'home' team wins, as they are the highest ranked team. From the second round on, matches are randomized. All teams that play in the second round are teams that are qualified for the IUBC, though their order is set only after the playoffs.

Round 1:

Sishinova White Diamonds 89–71 Kthosl Lions
Ka Uin Tazers 78–72 Ong Westerners
Jeknolr Dominators 70–82 Othushun Giants
Kangutsu Blues 103–79 Aj Uin Elves

SWD, Tazers and Blues are on as expected, though the Giants overturned their opponents and beat them with a very good score: 82-70. Now the teams that qualify for IUBC are known, on to round 2.

Ka Uin Tazers 75–85 Sishinova White Diamonds
Kangutsu Blues 73–110 Othushun Giants

SWD beat Ka Uin Tazers as might be expected from their regular season quality. Though, the Giants absolutely dominated their match against the Blues and surprisingly find themselves in the playoff final against SWD! They now have a shot at becoming this season's champions after a 6th place finish, 25 points off of SWD.

The Final:

Sishinova White Diamonds 92–67 Othushun Giants

SWD has won the final! The Giants, despite their giant-killing expertise (though their name suggests otherwise), lost honorably 92-67. This means that the Diamonds are not only the regular season champions, but also clinch the playoff title! This is the third season in a row that the regular season champion also makes it to overall champion, following the Blues (season 2) and the Tazers (season 3).

IUBC qualifiers:

Sishinova White Diamonds
Othushun Giants
Ka Uin Tazers
Kangutsu Blues

10 Red Doctors 9 1 8 18 42 −24 3

The qualifiers are:

Silver Admirals
Classy Farmers
Sun's Regents
Lava Bearers

Which makes it a nice 2-2 divide between Northwest and Southeast. In the winner's league, the NW Conference teams ranked 1st, 3rd, 6th, 7th and 10th, so they almost perfectly alternate, and this thankfully keeps both the NW and SE conferences on par with each other. One big surprise: Flying Dragons qualified for the Winners' League! Where they usually try their best to keep midtable in the Challenge League, they got into the Winners' League, where they unfortunately, but as expected, fell to a 10th place.

The worst franchise are the Red Doctors, who now are by far the worst ranked team overall.

Welcome to another season of the Ko-orenite National League! Due to the good results of last year, the KNL is slowly making its way to between the most famous leagues of the world. Maethorü has been key to this, despite losing in the first round of the Champions Cup, they made their way to the final 16 of the Globe Cup!

Halfway season 4:

National League Pld W D L GF GA GD Pts
1 Maethorü 19 13 3 3 35 11 +24 42
2 Líjü 19 11 2 6 27 12 +15 35
3 Branvün 19 10 3 6 23 18 +5 33
4 Tangkü 19 10 3 6 21 20 +1 33
5 Nórílyá 19 9 5 5 22 15 +7 32
6 Vnóskjülung 19 8 6 5 20 18 +2 30
7 Árelóthün 19 8 5 6 16 14 +2 29
8 Üzhótü 19 8 3 8 24 22 +2 27
9 Jeknólr 19 8 3 8 22 21 +1 27
10 Ájongká Region 19 7 4 8 16 20 −4 25
11 Kol 19 7 4 8 19 25 −6 25
12 Víltsr 19 7 2 10 14 18 −4 23
13 Stürng 19 5 8 6 24 33 −9 23
14 Kthósl 19 5 7 7 21 24 −3 22
15 Óthüshün 19 6 4 9 18 21 −3 22
16 Engbróthün 19 5 7 7 23 27 −4 22
17 Ningábásá 19 6 3 10 15 19 −4 21
18 Kángütsü 19 6 3 10 12 21 −9 21
19 Ko-oren Capital 19 4 8 7 16 17 −1 20
20 Ínsin 19 2 7 10 15 27 −12 13

We see that Maethorü are again ahead in the race for the title. It is probable the they will again clinch the title, but it is also more entertaining to see which teams will finish 2-4 and clinch a Globe Cup spot! For now, these teams are Líjü, who have been growing constantly over the last two seasons. Maybe they will even compete against Maethorü for the title... Branvün and Tangkü are as always the other teams to qualify for the Globe Cup. Though the difference between these teams and Nórílyá is very small. Vnóskjülung also has a good chance of playing for a Globe Cup spot, while teams just below that need a little bit of luck to get there.

For the four conferences:

Northern Conference Pld W D L GF GA GD Pts
1 Sraltlur 19 9 6 4 22 14 +8 33
2 Etwaj 19 9 4 6 17 14 +3 31
3 Straudüm 19 10 1 8 25 25 0 31
4 Vájóthl 19 9 3 7 23 14 +9 30
5 Jattülnar 19 8 5 6 23 20 +3 29
6 Téjünlor 19 8 5 6 16 15 +1 29
7 Khlíbdün 19 8 4 7 22 22 0 28
8 Jófá 19 8 4 7 20 22 −2 28
9 Mázaj 19 8 3 8 25 24 +1 27
10 Kolkáth 19 8 3 8 22 23 −1 27
11 Enlífl 19 7 6 6 16 18 −2 27
12 Tósk 19 7 5 7 13 16 −3 26
13 Hatf 19 7 4 8 23 20 +3 25
14 Kadsik 19 6 6 7 20 19 +1 24
15 Fashú 19 7 3 9 17 21 −4 24
16 Enkl 19 6 5 8 16 19 −3 23
17 Lírad 19 5 7 7 18 24 −6 22
18 Thlótjük 19 6 3 10 21 20 +1 21
19 Rábth 19 6 3 10 12 15 −3 21
20 Álárá 19 5 6 8 14 20 −6 21

Mázaj is not in first place! Despite being the best team of all conferences, they are in 9th place, however this is only six points from the top.

Eastern Conference Pld W D L GF GA GD Pts
1 Lóáró 15 8 6 1 19 9 +10 30
2 Ólüvíng 15 8 3 4 19 14 +5 27
3 Súvírá 15 7 5 3 13 8 +5 26
4 Forí 15 7 5 3 18 14 +4 26
5 Etena 15 7 4 4 19 13 +6 25
6 Hógóne 15 6 4 5 17 15 +2 22
7 Selesí 15 6 4 5 12 11 +1 22
8 Safürüng 15 6 3 6 18 17 +1 21
9 Ódé 15 4 7 4 10 10 0 19
10 Ídígó 15 4 6 5 15 16 −1 18
11 Sépo 15 4 4 7 12 16 −4 16
12 Mótá 15 4 4 7 14 19 −5 16
13 Sáíwú 15 4 4 7 10 15 −5 16
14 Fózen 15 3 5 7 16 19 −3 14
15 Lárídjü 15 4 2 9 8 17 −9 14
16 Óbü 15 2 6 7 15 22 −7 12

In the Eastern Conference, Hógóne, until last year in the KNL, are only at 6th place and need to correct 8 points to clinch the top spot. Lóáró have until so far never been in a position to go up one division, but they'll need some consistency to win this. Though they are the only team to lose only one match!

Southern Conference Pld W D L GF GA GD Pts
1 Hail 15 8 4 3 19 9 +10 28
2 Tornado 15 8 4 3 21 12 +9 28
3 Cirrus 15 9 1 5 22 15 +7 28
4 Dusk 15 7 5 3 15 9 +6 26
5 Noctilucent 15 6 6 3 23 14 +9 24
6 Síshínóvá 15 7 2 6 20 14 +6 23
7 Rainbow 15 5 5 5 14 15 −1 20
8 Supercell 15 4 8 3 7 9 −2 20
9 Hurricane 15 5 5 5 12 15 −3 20
10 Exosphere 15 5 4 6 16 21 −5 19
11 Aurora 15 4 5 6 12 16 −4 17
12 Patuqun 15 4 4 7 12 15 −3 16
13 Thunderstorm 15 3 6 6 12 17 −5 15
14 Halo 15 5 0 10 9 19 −10 15
15 Diamond Dust 15 3 5 7 12 18 −6 14
16 Altitude 15 3 4 8 11 19 −8 13

In the Southern Conference, Síshínóvá seem nowhere close to going up one division. The only Eastern team in the Southern Conference, you would expect that they would do better at home due to the different climate that they have. Diamond Dust, the usual champion in the conference, is only at 15th place!

Western Conference Pld W D L GF GA GD Pts
1 Chüngü 13 8 4 1 20 9 +11 28
2 Ift 13 7 4 2 25 17 +8 25
3 Endev 13 8 0 5 15 11 +4 24
4 Blizzard 13 7 2 4 24 19 +5 23
5 Blawá 13 6 4 3 16 12 +4 22
6 Wúí 13 5 4 4 10 10 0 19
7 Katrün 13 5 3 5 17 18 −1 18
8 Minato-shi 13 5 2 6 15 17 −2 17
9 Tkhon 13 5 2 6 14 16 −2 17
10 Ílíjü 13 4 3 6 18 16 +2 15
11 Ávlasn 13 3 3 7 9 15 −6 12
12 Mayara 13 4 0 9 8 17 −9 12
13 Inksin 13 2 5 6 9 13 −4 11
14 Ostsh 13 3 2 8 11 21 −10 11

In the Western Conference, Chüngü seem to be the top candidate for promotion again. While Wúí have played KNL a few seasons ago, they are only at 6th place, while Southern Conference's Blizzard are not doing too bad. Ílíjü also have had better seasons,

And this is the end of another season of the KNL! Maethorü has earned itself another title, as they always do. Liju, Branvun and Vnoskjulung got the Globe Cup spots! Both Norilya and Tangku missed out on qualification, by 8 and 11 points: a huge difference! This means that the KNL was not as spectacular at the top as other seasons, but once you go down the rankings to places 17-20 (relegation playoffs), things start to get interesting. Ko-oren Capitals finally did not manage to keep above place 17, and for the rest, the newly promoted teams will battle against relegation.

In the conferences, differences between teams are naturally smaller. This means that any title is highly contested, and teams that have a bad first half of the season are not per se haunted by it (Alara finished 19th after 20 matches, but after 26 matches, they are suddenly 8th). Vajothl got the championship in the North, edging out over poor Mazaj who again forget to qualify for promotion playoffs. Relegated Rabth are far from re-promotion: 18th. In the East, Suvira has taken the crown. Hogone are 7th and will therefore not be able to try to retake their KNL place. In the South, Hail has won the title. Diamond Dust, last year's champion, got 16th (last). In the West, Chungu got the title, as was expected. They edged out over Blizzard and Wui.

Ningábásá (E) 1–2 Hail (S)

PR D
Stürng (W) 2–0 Chüngü (W)

Ningábásá is the only team to lose their spot in the KNL! Hail will take over for them.

This means that Ko-oren's international qualifiers are as follows:

CC: Maethorü
GC: Líjü, Branvün, Vnóskjülung
SBCC: Vájóthl, Súvírá, Hail, Chüngü

Both the TFA and the KFA did not organize a cup this year. To improve the ties between the countries, both sent their top teams (12 for Ko-oren and 4 for Thaulandi) to Ko-oren City for a few days, where the 16 teams would battle who would be the strongest team of the Ko-orenite Islands. This went as follows:

Round 1:
Ko-orenite Islands Cup
Tangkü (S) 1–2 Tower 6 (Thaulandi)
Nórílyá (S) 0–1 Maethorü (W)
Árelóthün (S) 0–2 Branvün (S)
Kol (N) 0–5 Vnóskjülung (N)
Jeknólr (N) 1–1 Tower 5 (Thaulandi) (1–1 AET) (2–4 pen.)
Líjü (N) 3–2 Tower 7 (Thaulandi)
Ájongká Region (W) 0–2 Tower 3 (Thaulandi)
Engbróthün (S) 3–0 Kthósl (N)

Round 2:
Ko-orenite Islands Cup
Tower 6 (Thaulandi) 0–1 Maethorü (W)
Branvün (S) 1–0 Vnóskjülung (N)
Tower 5 (Thaulandi) 1–1 Líjü (N) (1–2 AET)
Tower 3 (Thaulandi) 3–1 Engbróthün (S)

Round 3:
Ko-orenite Islands Cup
Maethorü (W) 0–1 Branvün (S)
Líjü (N) 1–0 Tower 3 (Thaulandi)

Final:
Ko-orenite Islands Cup
Branvün (S) 1–0 Líjü (N)

Congratulations to Branvün for beating Líjü in the final! They also beat Maethorü in the semis, while Líjü just managed to beat Thaulandi's Tower 3. As Tower 3 for Thaulandi and Branvün did best in the cup, they will be sent to the Cygnus Cup for their respective associations.

Preview of the fifth season of the Ko-orenite National League

At the beginning of the fifth season, the second division has started its fourth season. Added after the first full KNL season, the second divisions added some teams to the set of 20 teams that made up the KNL in season 1. For the next season, they are Ínsin, Stürng and Hail. Stürng is, of all promoted teams over the last four seasons, the only team that has managed to pull off more than one season in the KNL: they will go into their third season. Other second division teams usually stay in for one or two seaons, but then relegate after the playoffs. Apart from these teams, next season will have:

Ko-oren Capitals: a team that has had some promising players and was tipped to get a championship at some point. By now, this has changed. They finished 17th last year, which meant that they had to play playoffs. They did manage to stay in the KNL, but they have been underachieving since the start. They started out around 10th place, but now are in the bottom of the KNL, though they always surprise in the Ko-orenite National Cup, which they have won on two occasions.

Kangütsu: They have been doing steadily mid-table, but had a bad season last season. They are continuously expected to achieve at least 14th place, but just missed relegation playoffs. Though the Eastern Region of Ko-oren started out with four teams, only two are left. Kangütsu is one of them, but they have always been in the shadow of...

Üzhótü: They have contended for Globe Cup spots in history. Nowadays, they are confined to mid-table, and like their Eastern Region-mates Kangütsu, they have had a bad season. They still do well in the cup, and they know how to surprise top teams, but lose too many points to teams mid-table.

Víltsr: Together with Rábth, they are from the city of Víltsr, Rábth State. Rábth relegated as first team ever, and Víltsr showed to be a much more reliable team. Still, they were 15th last season...

Óthüshün: From the most populous city in the nation which lies in by far the most populated area, the team have always had a strong fanbase. This has helped them on numerous occasions, for instance two seasons back when they qualified for the Globe Cup. Now, they fell back to 14th.

Ájongká Region: One of two teams from the Western Region, Ájongká have always been in the shadow of continuous champions Maethorü. Still, the team have always performed well and steadily, though they have always been mid-table. Now that Stürng also play in the KNL, they are one of three Western teams, and now they at least lost the status of worst Western team, though they are still better than most teams from other regions.

Engbróthün: The state team that is based in the same city as Branvün, Engbróthün have always been struggling. An anonymous, though steady team, they have always relied on their attack and midfield. This has done them well, though they sometimes still concede goals when they do not have to.

Kthósl: Together with Ko-oren Capitals, they are from Ko-oren City. Though the derby between the teams is always fierce, its importance has declined, not just because of the poor results of the Ko-oren Capitals, but also since Kthósl gave up on the fight for the Globe Cup. Although they once ranked about 7th or 8th, they are now 10th...

Árelóthün: The state team of the largest state of the country, the team has always had a large potential fanbase. Most young fans turn to Tangkü, a team that finished with the top 5 since the start (though they're now 6th). Árelóthün are like Engbróthün, a consistent team with a tendency to concede more goals than they should.

Jeknólr: Calm, almost timid team that does not like to seize the headlines to often. They prepare for their matches in serenity, and it does their results well: though not per se Globe Cup material, they always finish top 10.

Kol: From Kolkáth, the third largest city of the country, they have a large and rich fanbase. This means they have traditionally more money than the opposition, and this explains part of their ranking: 7th. Though they change coaches faster than any team in the league, they show good results although a coach that could work on the team for longer than 2 years might show some more good results.

Tangkü: Never settle for anything under the Globe Cup. Had a bad season last year, but swear they'll revenge that. From Árelóthün State, they usually are the best team from the state. They had to pass this title to Nórílyá, which hurts.

Vnóskjülung: last year's surprise. No one expected the team from the far North-East corner to do any better than 10th place. They surprised everyone with their commitment to the team, which earned them 6 places. In a long gone history, Vnóskjülung were top of the table, though giving up on the title in the last few rounds of the league to Maethorü.

Branvün: Offensive team from the South. Always in the middle of the fight for second place, which this year they lost to Líjü. They have always qualified for the Globe Cup, and they are increasing their importance and consistency every year.

: Unpredictable team, though they always end up high. Second last year, but they usually are around 5th place. They are the best team from the Northern Region (which includes Vnóskjülung, Kol, Jeknólr, Kthósl, Óthüshün, Víltsr and Ko-oren Capital), but this is the first time they got this title. If they can build forth from this year, they might even trouble Maethorü.

Maethorü: Sovereign champions of the nation. They have been champions for all four seasons until so far, and the gap to second place seems to get larger each year. They lost five matches last year, which is three less than number two Líjü. Tipped to be champions for at least next season, and probably many seasons after that.

Predictions for next season:

1. Maethorü
2. Branvün
3. Tangkü
4. Líjü
5. Nórílyá
6. Jeknólr
7. Vnóskjülung
8. Kol
9. Kthósl
10. Árelóthün
11. Engbróthün
12. Óthüshün
13. Üzhótü
14. Ájongká Region
15. Víltsr
16. Ko-oren Capital
17. Kangütsu
18. Stürng
19. Ínsin
20. Hail

Three seasons of International football

Some numbers (until season 41):

Ko-oren is the 44th ranked association within UICA. At 9.925 points earned in just three seasons, there is a high probability that after another two seasons, when the last two years are filled, the nation will find itself a good bit higher, especially after the last season, where 6.200 points were earned. Over the last season, Ko-oren was the 19th ranked association! In the first two seasons, the points were 1.900 and 1.825.

The last season:

The previous season, season 42, was pretty dramatic for Ko-oren. Starting with the Champions' Cup: Maethorü was, once again, the team for the CC. While surviving the second and third preliminary rounds, the team lost to Miskatonic University's (MIU, 30th) Tamarindia College, shutting the team out to the Globe Cup.

In the GC, Vnoskjulung entered in the first round. Beathing MIU's Royal Monster FC, the scores between KOR and MIU are even... In the Selective Stage, Vnoskjulung beat Saugeais' (SAU, 26th) Bugny FC. Branvun also entered this round, losing to Yesopalitha's (YSP, 87th) Avengers United.

Vnoskjulung and Liju were then in the Preliminary Stage of the GC. Liju won against Cannington United, from the Arcadian Islands (AIS, 73th). Vnoskjulung lost against Bakersfield, from the Free South Califas, for which the fans at least did not have to travel very far. Because there are so many teams eligible for the Globe Cup, the road is long, very long. In the Eliminatory Stage, Liju finally gave up and lost against Iguani, from PZJ. Maethorü, following their last playoff round loss in the CC, got an automatic group stage spot, as second seed in Group G. They finished third, ending all Ko-orenite teams. (By this time, Vajothl was the only other team in any competition, finishing third in the SBCC group stage).

All Ko-orenite teams in international competitions (until season 41):

The first team of Ko-oren, four-times-champions Maethorü, are only ranked 151st of all teams. Branvun is second, at 334th. Liju, like the other teams have played in all three seasons, and they're ranked 399th. Jeknolr is soon under that, at 417th. Kol, Norilya and Tangku are 466th, 467th and 468th. This means that Vnoskjulung is still to be ranked.

Rugby League Season 4

Final standings:

9 Aquila 36 12 2 22 237 279 −42 38
10 Phoenix 36 8 2 26 178 328 −150 26

International qualifiers:
1. Monoceros
2. Vulpecula
3. Lyra
4. Corona Australis

After a bad run, Lyra and Vulpecula are back to improve on their group phase third place from last season. Monoceros also played in the group phase, but they ended fourth. This means the league has a lot of potential, and the season that Ko-oren has a few teams in the knock-out phase, can't start long from now!

Aquila was the fourth qualifier last season, and they fell back to ninth! Corona Australis took over their place after last season's fifth place. Congratulations!

16 Uzhotu Silvers 30 5 25 2133 2486 −353 15

The Arelothun Lords and the Hogone Sapphires have clinched a place with the top eight over Othushun and Kthosl. The first round of playoffs is as follows:

Ka Uin Tazers 75–79 Hogone Sapphires
Aj Uin Elves 80–63 Arelothun Lords
Sishinova White Diamonds 101–70 Ong Westerners
Kangutsu Blues 71–71 Jeknolr Dominators (87–78 OT)

The most interesting first playoff round in history! Regular Season Champions, the Tazers, lose against the Sapphires who couldn't even believe they were in the playoffs in the first place. Then the Elves, as expected, beat the Lords. The White Diamonds record an enormous score against the Westerners, 101! Lastly, the first draw of the playoffs is recorded by the Blues and the Dominators, where the Blues got away with a victory in the end.

Hogone Sapphires 64–71 Kangutsu Blues
Aj Uin Elves 79–59 Sishinova White Diamonds

The Sapphires have finally fallen, and the Blues advance to the playoff final. The same goes for the Elves, who shut out the White Diamonds, last year's overall champions.

For the first time, the final will be a best of 7-format: the first to win four games wins the playoffs.

Kangutsu Blues 102–73 Aj Uin Elves

Completely against the expectations, Maethorü is not first! This might be the first season they could lose their title. In all other seasons, Maethorü led the table from about day 3/4, though they are somewhat behind! Promoted Hail is doing better than expected too, as they are not last. Still, they are even ninth!

The Capitals have fallen to last place, though they have always managed to avoid a place with the final four and relegation playoffs. Maethorü is still not back in first place, they are nine points behind. Hail fell slightly to 11th, which is still 9 places above expectation. Ajongka are also improving, while Othushun and Tangku are struggling to get decent results.

Branvün are looking good to claim the title, the first team that's not Maethorü to do so. They are 6 points ahead and still 10 matches to go. Vnoskjulung, playing GC, fell to 16th, but they'll still evade relegation that way. Othushun are best of the rest and are 5th, unfortunately still not a GC spot. Hail, after a fantastic start, fell to 15th.
