On Relationship between Falconfar and Falconear

Falconfar, the Triumvirate Queendom of three planets and four moons, and Falconear, the Republic in Atlantian Oceania, are, in fact, related.

Falconfar is ruled by Queen Islandil Dratognu. Now, Queen Islandil had a sister by the name of Rehaia. Rehaia Dratognu was in the Falconfarian military, and flying a sortie, when her spacecraft malfunctioned. The craft caught a solar flare, and crash landed into the sea by Atlantian Oceania.

Through a long, elaborate process, she was able to gain the support of the people at a section of AO and create a Republic, of which she is serving as the president of now.

Falconear does not have any birdmen nor turtles, just humans. Also, Falconear loves football, and pretty much no other sport comes close...

Oh, and Welsh is the national language.

*Note: Many times, adjectives that mean "First, Second, Third, etc." are used. This doesn't mean that the "First" is superior; they are just numbering.
One hundred thirty teams.

Uwchgynghrair Falconear Pêl-Droed

Ten teams. First place is champion, and the next three go to the Globe Cup competition. The two teams that finish ninth and tenth are automatically relegated to Adran Gyntaf and Ail Adran, rotating yearly. The team that finishes in eighth place must play against the winner of the match between the two teams that finish in second place in the Cynghrair Eilradd for the right to stay in the Uwchgynghrair.

Cynghrair Eilradd
*Top four teams of each division make it to the Cwpan Eilradd, where they play for the right to be called the best Secondary Team, as well as the right to represent Falconear at the SBCC. However, this tournament has no weight in relegation/promotion.
*The two second place teams play a one-game playoff to see who plays a double-legged playoff against the eighth place of the premier division for the promotion/relegation playoff.

Adran Gyntaf

Ten teams. Champ goes up, two goes down, 9th to Grollewin, 10th to Dwyrain, rotating yearly.

Ail Adran

Ten teams. Champ goes up, two goes down, 9th to Gogledd, 10th to De, rotating yearly.

Cynghrair Rhanbarthol
*The four winners are automatically guaranteed a spot up to the Cynghrair Uwchradd; they and the second place teams play in the Cwpan Rhanbarthol, a Cup to decide upon the best Regional Team.
*The relegation playoffs are instituted as follows: The eight teams will play each other until there are only two left. The two that are left will stay while the six go down.

Adran Orllewinol

Ten teams. Champ goes up, bottom two in Relegation playoffs.

Adran Ddwyreiniol

Ten teams. Champ goes up, bottom two in Relegation playoffs.

Adran Ogleddol

Ten teams. Champ goes up, bottom two in Relegation playoffs.

Adran Ddeheuol

Ten teams. Champ goes up, bottom two in Relegation playoffs.

Cynghrair Amaturaidd
*Two of the second-best placers are in the promotion playoff as well.
*The Promotion Playoff also serves as the Cwpan Amaturaidd, a cup to see who is the best Amateur team in the nation. In the eight-team tourney, six will be promoted, while two will remain in the Amaturaidd.

Cwpan Cenedlaethol
The winner of the Uwchgynghrair Falconear Pêl Droed, the Cwpan y Uwchradd, the Cwpan Rhanbarthol, and the Cwpan Amaturaidd play for the Cwpan Cenedlaethol - the Nation's Cup. Usually, the winner of the Premier Division wins, but upsets are not too uncommon.

Cwpan y Gogoniant Tragwyddol

The premier Cup of Falconear, the winner of this cup plays for the Cygnus Cup. This competition is notorious for its randomness, for besides the initial round where the worst four teams play, everything else is completely up to random on who plays who.

All 130 teams compete. Two game aggregate series until Final.

Season 1

Because it wasn't known which team would be better or worse, Season 1 was conducted to divide up the teams. The one hundred thirty teams were divided into ten conferences, labeled 1-10, by random order. Depending on how they finished this season, they will be placed into Tiers and Divisions for the next. This season, each team will only play twenty-four games for a total of twenty-six matchdays. This, of course, means that every single game counts more.

As this season is designed to build a storyline while put teams into their divisions and tiers, there wasn't much news coverage of it. However, it did happen, and the results were posted daily. Here, we present to you the results at halfway through and at the end, followed by the Cup play and the postseason-deciding play at the end.

The FFL signed a contract with the Falconear Sports Broadcasting Network today, giving the FSBN exclusive rights to televise and write about the Falconear games starting next season.

With the Uwchgynghrair Falconear Pêl Droed Playoff Game, the Cwpan y Uwchradd, the Cwpan y Rhanbarthol, the Cwpan y Amatur, and the Cwpan y Holl all having not been instituted until next season, all of Falconear anxiously awaited for the first running of the Cwpan y Gogoniant Tragwyddol 1.

After a successful inaugural season in which teams were placed into different leagues, a few changes were made to the Falconear system:

1. It was decided that the the entire season would consist of thirty-six games each for all teams.
2. All the Cups will be decided from this season on.

Although all the Falconear representatives were eliminated early in the recent International competition, hopes are high that perhaps this time, Falconear teams will do better.

Here are previews of the four tiers of the Falconear football system:

Uwchgynghrair Falconear Pêl Droed

The premier division is stacked, and really nobody knows who will win this season because they all won their qualifying groups. CPD Dinas Parheft did score the most goals, but it was Aberdâr who had the least goals allowed with 25. All that is known about this season at this level is that it will be full of teams battling to show that they are the best of Falconear. Which teams represent Falconear at the TQCC and the Globe Cup, while which others will be relegated to the Cynghrair Eilradd, is to be seen.

At a poll taken of one million random Falconeareans, CPD Dinas Parheft, Aberdâr, and Juyroai are the favorites to win this level, while it is expected of De Ioke, Mmyrskanor Unedig, and Croes Cyeweli to be probably relegated.

Cynghrair Eilradd

Dinas Jukain Unedig is expected to run away with the Adran Gyntaf title after winning the inaugural edition of the Falconear Cup. Expected to challenge them for the automatic promotion spot is Cynghreiriaid Yroiti, which made it pretty far. Not much is expected of either Unnkgraft or Nyoke in the Adran Gyntaf. In the Ail Adran, the "Warrior" of Baraft is expected to contend with Fanheft and the Kings of Castell-nedd for the automatic spot, while Llanbradach and Vanhol Unedig are expected to struggle. The two teams expected to play each other in order to play the eighth place team in the Uwchgynghrair Falconear Pêl Droed are Ewyyinna and Gogledd Valhaiso.

Cynghrair Rhanbarthol

At the regional level, anyone's guess is as good as the experts'. How will this turn out? Who in the world knows, seriously...

Breaking News
For how the unification came about, read the BoF RPs under the account of Unified Falcon.

The Falconear Football System will undergo a major reconstruction after the following season due to the creation of the Unified Falcon League (UFL), which will combine the best teams of the Falconfar and Falconear leagues to be one league. These are the changes to be instituted after the next season, after all the promoting and relegating is done:

1. Twelve teams in the Unified Falcon Football League Premier Division
2. Twelve teams in the Unified Falcon Football League Secondary Division
3. Twenty-four teams in the Cynghrair Eilradd
4. Twenty-four teams in the Cynghrair Rhanbarthol.
5. Twenty-four teams in the Cynghrair Amaturaidd Gyntaf.
6. Twenty-four teams in the Cynghrair Ail Amaturaidd.
7. The next 10 teams of the Cynghrair Amaturaidd, along with fourteen other squads, will make up the Cynghrair Trydedd Amaturaidd. The other teams will be: Metrakhan, Oksiden, Pirraea, Answolleg, Geikke, Qurrettek, Vanseten Unedig, CPD Ires-Thoku, Wyrr-Reni Unedig, Tisomani, Cuni-Zan, Viccinnissi, Myrtekhia, and Zzentoko.
8. The Cwpan y Gogonaint Tragwyddol will still be held, as well as a cup for each of the five Cynghrairs, where the top four will have a shot; all other cups are disbanded.
9. The top four of each division promotes and the bottom four relegates except for the Cynghrair Eilradd, which will promote two teams to the Secondary Division of the UFL.

The surprise this year was recently promoted Parahai, who actually grabbed the last Globe Cup spot at the expense of Dinas Jukain Unedig. Juyroai will be relegated as well as DInas Gorllewin Fakar, while Rhyfelwr Baraft shall have to play the home-and away playoff to hopefully stay in the top division of the Unified Falcon League. The title, though, once again goes to CPD Dinas Parheft, who took the lead on Matchday Twenty-Five and never relinquished it to their third straight title. They will be a force to be reckoned with next season in the Unified Falcon League Premier Division.

Ewyyinna completely ran with the First Division's title, but the Second Division's title wasn't decided until the final Matchday when Lleng Machnylleth won and Kings Castell-nedd could only manage a tie. CPD Temlwyr Bangor, which lost in the promotion playoffs last season, finished in fourth place, but still have the chance to qualify for the SBCC if they manage to defeat Ewyyinna.

Two of the four Regional Divisions were over a long time ago; Visiharu and Bangor Town ran away with their titles. The populace are happy that the Rhanbarthol will only be one division of twenty-four teams next season, for some of the teams were starting to commute a long ways in a league that is mostly played by middle-class players.
