A little info

Postby Bloodbath Generation » Sat Mar 03, 2012 7:30 am

Here's some stats about the Sones, Bloodbath Generations first ever team in a Nation-States sporting event.

The 9 starters from Bloodbath Generation first formed in 2007, coming Into the New World and proclaiming a Girls Generation, only speaking Hangul. They are also in a popular band, Womens Time. These fierce players are:

Taeyun Kim: Captain, Lead Singer. Looks innocent, but is wise and hardcore.
Messica Sung: Midfielder, Main Vocals. Very serious, cold and hostile, called the "snow queen" and "Lieutenant Messy" for her unpredictable moves, usually sloppy. But they work :)
Yeh Sun Ban "Sunny" Cho:Defender, Lead vocalist. Short and bubbly, aegyozilla Sunny powers over opponents with sayings like ,"oppa jjang!", "Fighting Sones!" and "ottoke!"
Clarrisa Huang: Forward,Lead vocalist. One of only two members born in neighboring Dangertk, very caring. Former assistant manager of the BG Pre-Debut Sporting Association (BGPDSA)
Lim Koyeon: Midfielder, Lead Dancer: Known to be a unstoppable speedster, she is known for her victory dances, including moves from the teams songs "Ahh", "OMFG", "Cacaw" and "Alladin".

More profiles to come!

The Kingdom Of The Icemark recorded a narrow 1-0 Victory against Carasatoga in their opening match in the Women's World Indoor Soccer Championship In New West Guiana. It was a surprising victory considering this was the national teams first ever Women's Indoor soccer match. In a tight game of few chances where both teams seemed to be cancelling eachother out the breakthrough came late in the fourth quarter when Celeste crossed the ball low into the area, and a already commited Carasatoga goalkeeper could do nothing about L Celeste tapping into an open goal.
After the match Captain Medea Lindenshield told The Icemark Chronicle, "We did what we needed to do tonight. It was a throughly professional performance. It wasn't the most entertaining tie for an indoor match. There wasn't a lot of goalscoring chances, but when we did get an opportunity we took it. Carasatoga made it difficult for us but we managed to break them down eventually and thats the main thing."
An optimistic Medeacontinued when asked about their chances for the tournament, "The result leaves us in good stead for the rest of the tournament. We only need to finish in the top four of six teams so I'd say we have as good a chance as any of the more experienced teams of reaching the quarter-finals."

Lukquarel's supporters are in shock as they pulled out a victory against Wolfmanne 2-1 Saturday afternoon. They were down by 1 with about 6 minutes left, but scored two goals within 2 minutes of each other. This is the nations first ever World competition for these women, and they are currently in awe by their performance.

"We played a fantastic match." said Head Coach Kat Enoia, "I was very proud of my girls. They started out weak, but began to shake off their nerves at halftime. I spoke with what we needed to fix, and they did just that. Fixed their mistakes. We had solid defense, but just weren't able to get those shots to go through. I was nervous near the end, but was ultimately proud with their play."

Lukquarel's women can start to relax, having that first game gone. Wolfmanne is a decent opponent in their Division. But definitely not the strongest. Obviously, the team needs work, but they can certainly succeed in the Women's World Indoor Soccer Championship.

Bloody Good Yeller

Postby Bloodbath Generation » Sun Mar 04, 2012 1:40 pm

In a hard-fought game, Bloodbath Generations very own Fighting Sones lost 1-0 to Homelands our. The crowded Hopes Charity Center in New West Guinea was filled with Bloddies, their loyal fans. Mooyung Chi was almost at the scoring range late into the first haf, but was distracted by some Noonaboo Chicken laying on the bench, and after that, no opportunities came. Homelands our scored at 89:32, barely squeezing out a victory. Captain Taeyun Kim said," We may have lost, but we played well and akmost held a tie. We could win for our next match!" The game got a TV rating of 32.6%, or 41,402,000. People were let of of work, children watching in their classrooms and just overall enthusiasm as the game started. The countries new stadium, LSM re:LIVE the Moment at the Jigglefront, was packed with 54,000 people watching it live through 10 HD LED screens. Another million watched outside in the four fanzones in Harrt, Mochon,Dokbokki and Maegyo. Analyists predict a similar, but possibly smaller crowd for the next game.

Good luck to the team and Fighting!

from the Pacific City Courier:
Another 95X Loss
NEW WEST GUIANA—95X suffered the worst defeat of any nation in the first day of competition at the Women's World Indoor Soccer Championship, falling to Ipeland 4 to 1.
95X appears to be readjusting after most of the team's lineup was named to the 95Xers AOCAF 34 delegation. Samantha Threeseventeen scored the only 95X goal early on, however goalkeeper Brooke Nehalem allowed two Ipeland goals and was replaced in the second half by Sarah Sixtwelve, who was also no match for Ipeland's offense.
With nine matches yet to be played in the group stage, there's still plenty of time for 95X to regroup and restrategize.
95X (0-1) will play their next game against Carasatoga (0-1), who also lost their opener with The Icemark 1-0.

The Kingdom Of The Icemark remain undefeated in the Women's World Indoor Soccer Championship in New West Guiana after a second consecutive victory. In front of a packed arena a single goal was yet again enough for The Icemark to triumph over Homelands Our in a superb defensive display. L Celeste opened the scoring early in the first quarter with a low long range effort that beat the opposite keeper to sneak into the goal.
Homelands Our dominated the remaining three quarters and must wonder how they failed to score. The Icemark defense was forced countless times into making last ditch tackles and Iphignea make a string of outstanding saves. The Icemark managed to hold on for the points and now have moved up to second in the group standings.
After the match Captian Medea Lindenshield had nothing but praise for her defense, "It was a strong performance. We didn't create a lot but we managed to grind out a result. We're not scoring many goals which is always a worry but we haven't conceded any goals as of yet."
The Icemark will go into their next game against the win-less Bloodbath Generation as favourites for the first time in the tournament. Medea Continued, "It will be a different kind of pressure. We are used to being the underdogs but I'm sure my ladies will be able to cope with the situation."

Indoor Women's Soccer Team Celebrates Again

For the third consecutive match, Lukquarel's women have defeated another challenging opponent. The supporters at the arena, and watching from their living rooms erupted in excitment after destroying Krumbia 4-0. Amber Truhe, Carly Pyiting and Parghl Slike putting in two, were the goalscorers for Lukquarel.

This win is a tremendous joy for the country as it means they will be the only team with a perfect record left in the competition. It also concluded that Lukquarel will be a whole 3 points ahead of second, third, and fourth positions in Group 1.

Lukquarel's Women have a great chance of moving onto the playoffs as all they need to qualify is 4th place. This is shaping up to be a huge accomplishment for Sports in the country.

WWISC 2012-BG's Minute to Win It

Postby Bloodbath Generation » Mon Mar 05, 2012 6:31 pm

In a tie that inspired new hopes in Bloodbath Generations Womens Indoor Soccer Team, the Fighting Sones tied with rivals The Icemark, 2-2. The two goals scored by Yu-Ri Ikanawo and Taeyun Kim came at the 46nd and 49th minute, respectively. The sold-out crowd of 5,000 rallied behind the girls, and they sucked it like a...never mind. Anyhow, even though Icemark made a late rally, the Sones held on for a tie. The close call has exhilerated Bloodies and viewershiip is excpected to rise twofold for the next match tomorrow. The Department of Sports and Culture has called for a new arena, project title Embrace the Moment, Live the Day and Hope for Tomorrow, with a projected capacity of 25,000 and a revolutionary roof design that can transform, with some help, into a 15,000 seat concert and convention hub, to promote sports and international competitions to the rising country.

The Kingdom Of The Icemark had to make a late fightback to earn a dramatic 2-2 draw with the Bloodbath Generation in the Women's World Indoor Soccer Championship. After two previous games where defense reigned supreme the floodgates finally opened. The game was open from the first whistle with Bloodbath Generations the better team for much of the duration of the game. The big surprise was it wasn't until the 4th quarter that the goals started flowing.
Within just a minute of the final quarter Yu-Ri Ikanawo of the Bloodbath Generations put her side in front exposing a defense that has been so strong at the start of this tournament. Just three minutes passed and Taeyun Kim gave Bloodbath Generations a 2-0 cushion.
The Icemark's hand had been forced. They had no choice but to cast away their defensive formation and adopt an all-out-attack approach. The change in tactics worked and The Icemark clawed themselves back to level terms with a thunderous strike from L Celeste on 56 minutes and a scrappy goal from E Celeste on 58 Minutes. The Icemark continued their attacking approach for the games remaining few minutes but could not break Bloodbath Generations down and had to settle for a draw. Both teams were applauded out of the arena to a rousing reception after the late excitement.
After the game Medea Lindenshield said, "It was a tough game for us. We had to adjust our style a bit to get the result but considering the comeback it was a point gained rather than two lost."
The Icemark have a crucial top of the table clash with Ipeland coming up next which is a good early chance for either team to gain an early advantage in their group.

The Central Journal of Lukquarel

Winning Once More!

For the 4th time in a row Lukquarel's women have won again in the Women's World Indoor Soccer Championship! The game ended 2-1 against Western Cuba, Lukquarel with the 2 of course. The streak just keeps on going, and going, and going!

Says head coach Kat Enoia, "I am truly out of words. The team is just on fire! I am so proud of their performance! We all thought this was going to be a tournament just so see how we play together. But it's turned out to be much more than that! I can't thank the fans enough to say how helpful you have been to the team. You flew in all the way from Lukquarel. We DEFINITELY have the best supporters here."

This win pushes the squad to a 4-0-0 record. They are the only team in the competition with a perfect record! They currently sit atop Group 1.

Even with their awesome performance in the group stags so far, it's not yet over... There is a still one game left in the group rounds... And then there are the playoffs. WHEN Lukquarel qualifies for the playoffs, it'll be a tough fight. New teams, and new challenges. If it ends up The Icemark vs. Lukquarel... Then that'll be one crazy match. The Icemark is the only other squad without a loss. Only a draw is the difference between our countries. They currently are atop Group 2.

We sill see what the competition brings forth for these women. But... I'm certain they can handle it.

The Kingdom Of The Icemark produced an astonishing result in their top of the table clash with The Northen State Of Ipeland as they remain undefeated in the Women's World Indoor Soccer Championship. The pulsating performance saw them run riot and place themslf at the top of group B.
They got off to the perfect start when L Celeste was given too much time and space to drive a shot across the goal that went in off the far post after just 1 minute. The Icemark took a stranglehold on the game with a fluent attacking football style. They had continued where they left off against Bloodbath Generation by throwing the restraints off their defensive tactics and playing a pure offensive game. The Icemark added another goal to their lead when Theowin tapped in a goal from Celestes well placed free-kick towards the end of the opening quarter.
Ipeland seemed rattled and on the backfoot, and The Icemark did not have to wait long for a third goal. Early in the third quarter Artemesion's delightful ball sent Celeste through to score. It got worse for Ipeland on 44 minutes when E Celeste slotted in and The Icemark were threatening to run riot and smelled blood. Sheraton did manage to pull one back for Ipeland early in the final quarter but L Celestes hatrick compounded Ipelands misery with a fifth goal as the Icemark secured the rout.
Captian Medea Lindenshield praised her team after the match, “It was the perfect performance,” She said, “The efforts my ladies have put in means they are the architects of this victory. To beat a team like Ipeland you have to play well, but to beat them so convincingly you have to not make any mistakes and be near perfect in every area of the pitch.”
The Icemark have a tricky tie with third placed 95X coming up next and will be hoping they finish the half way stage of the group stage top of the mountain.

Bloody Good Yeller

In a win watched by millions of fans, the Fighting Sones beat Carasatoga 2-0 in an amazing effort. Lim Koyeon and Clarissa Huang scored goals in the 2nd minute, and 82nd minute, respectively. A crowd at the new Nations Playground gathered, holding well over 5 million people and 25 50 by 50 foot screens. The win only proves more motivation for the team, who now are 4th, and only 1 point away from third, 2 from 2nd and 3 from first. To be at the top, the Sones need The Icemark to lose orIpeland tie and BG win. There are still 5 matches to go, but security is on high alert after a threat was made for a "destruction of anti-fans" by an apparent over-obsessive fan. Police described him as a middle-aged male working at a government agency. Authorities from the Council of Security and the Department of Sports and Culture helt a joint press conference addressing the issue. Ki-Na Han said," The art of sport shall be preserved, and we are a resilient country, no threat shall falter us, even if it is by a fellow government employee." Also announced today was a new initiative aimed towards youth, encouraging them to play more sports, train harder if they already do, and eat healthier, tentatively called "Get Up and Move! It's Your Time!", with the first sponsors being the entire WWISC team.
s!b: In a show of kind sportsmanship, when Carasatoga player Jamila Dogbrovnik was injured and the doctor was out for a "relaxation therapy expo", the 9 girls tended to her wounds, stopping the game for 15 minutes till another doctor from New West Guiana came to the Hopes Charity Center, wheeling her out in a HoverWheel MediChair.

WWISC MD5 RP

(OOC: How dare the writing of my university papers get in the way of writing my RPs. Oh the horror.)
from sports.yagoo.co.95x/soccer:
95X at the Women’s World Indoor Soccer Championship: The Latest
With 95X halfway through the Group Stage of the Women’s World Indoor Soccer Championship in New West Guiana, the 95X women are in third place in Group Two with a record of 2-1-2. This marks an improvement over the canceled previous tournament. If 95X holds their position, they will qualify for the quarterfinals.
Let's look at each game of the tournament for 95X thus far:
MD1: Ipeland 4, 95X 1
(95X: Threeseventeen :10)
The first match of the tournament proved the worst for 95X at this point, and something the team seems to have put behind them. The young Samantha Threeseventeen scored the only 95X goal in the game and was one of the first to lineup to shake hands following the 95X defeat. 95X starting goalkeeper Brooke Nehalem allowed two goals in the first half and was replaced in the second with Sarah Sixtwelve, who also allowed two Ipeland goals.
MD2: 95X 5, Carasatoga 0
(95X: Linn :5, :45; Brown :15; Hellburg :27; Threeseventeen :33)
A much more coordinated 95X squad entered the arena for match two, blanking Carasatoga while proverbially kicking them off the pitch. Tina Linn received a yellow card following her second goal (which was 95X's fifth goal) for taunting the Carasatogan goalkeeper, however was allowed to continue playing in the match and issued an apology following for “a bad impulse ‘cause I’m young and I promise not to do it again.”
MD3: 95X 2, Homelands Our 0
(95X: Threeseventeen :21; Brown :52)
With Tina Linn siting on the 95X bench in uniform wearing a sign around her neck reading “I lost the game,” her countrywomen handed out yet another shutout loss to their opposition, this time Homelands Our. Though not as high-scoring as their previous rout, 95X appeared much more cohesive on the playing surface and the team proved they could win with one of their starters sitting out a game.
MD4: Bloodbath Generation 2, 95X 0
The cards seemed to stack against 95X as they found themselves on the receiving end of a shutout to a team picking up their first win. 95X simply congratulated their opponents for their performance and focused on their next match.
MD5: 95X 2, The Icemark 2
(95X: Brown :20; Linn :32)
95X played a tense match against the leading nation of Group 2, while holding on as the Icemark (TI) forced a 2-all tie. TI was first on the board, however Kaelynn Brown answered before the end of the first half. Tina Linn showed great composure as she put 95X up 2-1 very early in the second half, which held until late in the match when TI evened the score.
What’s Ahead
95X and all other nations play each team in their group a second time, giving winners and losers a chance to view the tapes, make adjustments, and try for wins against those they’ve lost to previously. 95X is tied with Bloodbath Generation for the third spot, but leads based on goals for, 10 to 6. With Homelands Our and Carasatoga around to play a possible spoiler role for the 95Xers, there's still time for 95X to outperform their opponents... or fizzle like a flat soda. We at Yagoo Sports hope for the former, of course!
