Staff
Daniel Greben- Manager - 49
John Lehman- Assistant Manager - 42
Matthew Spillane- Goalkeeping Coach - 36
Chris King- Fitness Coach – 32
Carl Rose- Coach – 38
Cody Aubey- Coach - 33
Brad Mayne- Physio - 54
Bryan Morgan- Physio - 34

Goalkeepers - 3

1 –Craig Breggo - GK - 23 (01.12.1987)- Lindesdale FC
When he's having a good day, you just won't score. Plain and simple. But on an off day his reckless desire for the flashy save turns him to 50-50 Keeper.
6–David Parada- GK - 21 (23.07.1990)- Carroll Town
He is very good coming out to grasp the ball in the air because of his height and is a terrific long distance shot stopper. When the ball is in his feet, he is quite average (leaning to bad).
8 –Jake Owens - GK - 19 (15.11.1992)- River Rovers
He's a big man and he is more of a solid keeper than a flashy one. He sometimes has mental lapses and lets a savable ball in
Defenders - 7

2 – Erik Breza - DL -28 (31.01.1983) – Tyrian Forrest
If he is playing his best football Breza is arguably in the top classof back’s he is far better on defense then he is in any offensive supporting role.
18– Fernando Jimenez- DC -21 (18.05.1990) – Carroll Town
He's magnificent in all aspects of of defensive play and can but the ball a mile but don’t expect him to score any goals. Even if he’s in the box on a corner.
28– Richard Thomas- DC – 18 (28.02.1993) – Lindesdale Town
A solid pure defender and positively the teams best choice for clearance placements. Although he tends to be a little slower on the ball.
12 – Robert Tallant - DR -26 (29.08.1985) – Eagle River Blues
For Anglegard he is considered the big man at the back. He plays a rough abrasive style of football that tends to get the job done. If it doesn’t result in a card.
19 – Mike Kvasnicka- DC -28 .11.11.1981 – Tyrian Forrest
What he lacks in youth and pace, he makes up for in magnificent positioning and the tricks you can only learn form experience. He will usually be seen as a second half sub when holding a lead is paramount.
27–Nelson Holmes- DLRC -20 (28.10.1991) – Real Neches
All-around full-back. Both on the left and on the right, Holmes can both attack and defend equally well. But his aerial game is pure rubbish
16 – Preston Jonigan- DR - 25 (16.04.1986)- Eagle River Blues
Arguably the fastest man on the entire national team, but his lack of situational awareness places him at the bottom of the Anglegard defensive depth chart

Midfielders - 8

9– Jake Title - ML -22 (01.10.1989) – Angleshot Town
A Quick tactical midfielder that can defend just as well as he can move up field. He tends to let nerves of a big game get to him.
7 – Justin Herndon - DMC -28 (21.09.1983) – Lindesdale Town
He probably has the best athletic qualities for a midfielder in Anglegard and uses them to his advantage in every game.
21 – Spencer Wynkoop- AMC – 23 (25.08.1988) – Neches United
He has the tactical awareness to play defensive midfielder, the stamina and power play to play box-to-box, and the creative qualities to be and offensive midfielder. All of those added to amazing technique on the ball and amazing vision to create goal-scoring opportunities for his teammates.
15– Sam Jenkins - MR – 18 (02.11.1993). – Tyrian Forrest
Even though he's a small bodied midfielder he can play holding midfielder with his incredible knack for knowing what opposing players will do and anticipating plays.
17 – Stan Khrapak- MC -29 (07.08.1982) – VonThomas United
Small quick and has a left foot that can give a threw ball almost anywhere on the pitch. His stamina however makes him a late game sub at best.
26 –Tim Graham - ML – 22 (25.12.1989) – Carroll Town
A solid midfielder in support of offense lacks the same skills in a defensive role. He is very prone to injury so doesn’t see much playing time.
29– Brent Bilger- MC -18 (26.03.1993)– Port AC
The teenage sensation is a technically gifted midfield menace with ability and composure that belies his age. He is the go to midfield sub.
14 – Nick Ponton - MR – 23 (14.02.1988) – North Gate FC
A tall and lanky midfielder with the best aerial game on the squad he has excellent situational awareness but he lacks in composure and on the ball skills.
Strikers - 5

10 – Spencer Springob - SC – 21 (12.06.1990) – Neches United
The top scorer of the Anglegard team he’s got great skill on the ball, above average speed, and can put the ball in from anywhere within 30 yards. His weakness come in his need for supporting cast. Without Hampton to set him up with a solid cross or Wynkoop to place the ball well he can be forced to play second fiddle to even the reserve strikers.
5 – Johnny Hampton – SC-Captain – 23 (30.12.1987)- Neches United
The ‘Iceman’ is the only player on the team that doesn’t let the big game get to him in the least in front of 5 or 50,000 it doesn’t matter he can keep it together. He is known for his passing ability, Springob has described his crosses as the things dreams are made of. His weakness comes in the ability to make plays for himself although he does score (mostly unexpectedly from long range.). His ball and trick skills are great, but for all his finesse in other areas his shooting style tends to be of the grip it and rip it variety.
11– Bart Zuralski - SC – 22 (05.12.1988) – Real Neches
Great speed, miraculous ball skills and a curve that could make Springob cry, the only thing that keeps him out of the starting line up are his off pitch antics. His womanizing and drunkenness are legendary in Anglegard.
22 – Raul Serrano- SC – 27 (15.10.1984) – Lindesdale FC
The workhorse among the Anglegard strikers, he is kept in reserve as an injury replacement seeing as he can replace any of the other strikers in any position without to much difference in skill being sacrificed. His weakness comes into the fact that at times he can over work himself. A third or Fourth full match from him without rest is almost impossible as his passes will become sluggish his runs half hearted and his shots on cool weak.
23 – Travis Parsons - SC – 19 (30.12.19.1992) – Tyrian FC
The youngest of the Striker unit for Anglegard. He is quick, above average on the ball and has a cannon of a left foot, but his youth tends to make him somewhat of a ball hog. He lacks shot control in the big moments. This is a striker you never want on the penalty spot.
Starters in bold
Philosophy-The Anglegard team is quickly and flashy with the ability to break forward and control the flow of a game up front. The major weakness lies in their defensive third. They play a beautiful free flowing type of ball. Although if the pace is slowed they are known to suffer heavily. Form is either top notch or rubbish, unless Hampton can rally them around himself.
Formations-
4-4-2-Most played formation for the KoA Team with Spencer Wynkoop using his speed in support of the strikers.
4-3-3- Played in case of a need for a more defensive situation. Jenkins comes off and Zuralski Joins Hampton and Springob up Front.
FK’s: Spencer Springob
Right Corner: Nick Browning
Left Corner: Spencer Wynkoop
Penalties :Johnny Hampton

In the event my opponent posts an RP first, they may:

I know it may sound ridiculous, but it can prepare you for a distant future when Val Kylx has to retire. It can also help you write a creative RP.

Scrap that, Birolika's idea is awesome.

That might be the first time one of my ideas hasn't been met with the response, "Fine, but where are you going to get all those yaks from?"

Team arrival in Burnden Park Airport

Hakkland will take on Siver Beach, 19th Century Beards, Zoobians and Palmont in their bid for Quall Cup 2 glory.
Kristian Ottarsson's men discovered their fate at today's draw in Ipeland.
Kristian Ottarsson's side will begin their campaign against Palmont, whom they have never had meetings with.
Ottarsson admits making a good start against Palmont will be imperative.
The brilliant coach told Hakklands Television : 'Most difficult will be the first game against Palmont. The first game is always difficult to play because of the pressure. A result will be very important.'
Hakkland have chosen to base their training camp near the capital city of Burnden Park but not all their group games will be played in Ipeland's capital, meaning journeys of hundreds Kilometers.
'If we can't get ourselves through that group we have only got ourselves to blame.
'On paper we should win all those games but Siver Beach are always tough, it's going to be a great game - the atmosphere will be crazy.
'On paper it looks easy but I am sure Ottarsson will not take anything for granted.'

Affirmed P.Karlsson, Hakkland's captain

Interview with Arne Andersson

Arne Andersson(holstejn's coach) feared his side would be plunged into a nightmare section with Silver Beach and arch-nemesis Hakkland in Ipeland last night.
But Holstejn landed a more favourable draw as they were pitched into battle against hosts Ipeland, Sheepish, Antifreedonia and Brendino the 3rd.
Andersson's men will kick off their campaign against Sheepish today before facing Ipeland then returning to take on Brendino the 3rd and Antifreedonia.
Andersson said: "There was a terrible moment while I waited because Group B was really strong with Silver Beach and Hakkland. When I saw we had passed that section I was happy.
"Maybe we could have got Group C with Western Cuba, Huth River, FortGeorge..etc, but I am happy.
"Of course it will not be easy. It is a well-balanced group but also teams we know well.
"The most important - and most difficult - game at the finals will be Sheepish.
"It is always hard to play the first match because of the pressure you are under. The result of that game will be really important."
He said: "We know all the teams but the thing that matters most of all will be how Holstejn performs. The players who will stay with me in Ipeland will need to be at the top of their game."
"Holstejn are not the favourites but we can all qualify."

CBC News

"Hello and welcome to CBC News, it's now time for the sporting news and I now hand over to Hamis. Hello Hamis"
"Hello, now the Quall Cup 2 Groups have been drawn and Phoenigetuzstha have been drawn into Group D, alongside Landerein, Mapletish U-21, Anglegard & Fidishwa. Now lets see what the manager has to say."

Nebuchad Bel-Hammonis

Nebuchad is standing in front of a backdrop of various Ipeland logo's and companies. A microphone appears underneath his face.
"So Nebuchad, how do you find group D?"
"Well, it is definately a tough group, we will be looking to pick up wins from the lower seeded teams and draws and maybe some cheeky wins from those above us. If the players can keep focused we can advance."
"And so are you looking forward to the game tonight against Fidishwa?"
"Yes I am. We haven't saw them play before and it will be a great experience."
"And are the team fit?"
"Yes they are. They are doing well in training and I forecast no problems.
"Ok thanks Nebuchad and good luck"

Hello, it's 6:45pm and welcome to Sportsday with me, Jon Hammond.
Ipeland have been drawn in a favorable Group A in the Quall Cup 2, which will be starting in Ipeland next week. They have been drawn with Brendino the 3rd, Antifreedonia, Sheepish and Holstejn. Ipeland are the favorites to win the tournament, although some of the new teams like Holstejn may prove a challenge for Ipeland.

Group D is surely to be considered the group of death, with runners up of the Quall Cup 1, Fidishwa, Mapletish and Phoenigetuzshta in the hunt for a quarter final place.

(OOC: Since Fidishwa didn't post a roster or RP permissions It wont be that great, so be merciful)

Phoenigetuzstha Rout Fidishwa
Phoenigetuzstha 6-0 Fidishwa
M Tanuut 11'
H Annibasti 23'
H Gehrib 27'
K Sestopernali 45+1'
H Gehrib 76'
H Gehrib 82'

The Phoenigetuzsthan team completely routed the Fidishwa team, demolishing them 6-0. As the teams prepared to kick off, there was a nervous energy in the air. Would Phoenigetuzstha make the public back home proud? Would they succeed in their first tournament? Nobody knew. The team was lined up like this:

4-5-1

----------A Jemal----------

----------H Gisgo---------------------' Gastu--------------------I Gahmra--------------------B Zaouaiou----------

----------A Hammoiya----------K Sestopernali----------H Annibasti (C)----------M Tanuut----------M Hammoiya----------

----------H Gehrib----------

Dominance in midfield was key to success; Fidishwa having more experience in this cup would know. After 10 minutes played it was equal, the possession was 50/50 but that wasn't to last much longer. 'Adon Gastu played a through ball to Antar Hammoiya who then flanked the defenders a put in a low cross. That was converted into a goal by Marik Tanuut. The next goal came from the captain, Himilco Annibasti, a free kick driven from 25 yards out. Hammon Gehrib scored his first from a corner driven in by Mehdi Hammoiya, a well placed header increasing the Phoenigetz lead to 3. In added time Sestopernali added another with a long-range drive. With the second half beggining, the Phoenigetz crowd were cheering with wild euphoria. Gehrib gained his hatrick with two shots from in the box, one of which led from a mistake by the Fidishwan goalkeeper.

Elswhere in the tournament, hosts an reigning champions, Ipeland gained a 3-0 victory while in Phoenigetuzstha's group Anglergard were destroyed by an U-21 squad from Mapletish. Although qualification is a long way off, Phoenigetuzstha now have the belief, and the proof to qualify.

5-0 thrashing of Hutt River
Hutt River 0–5 Homelands our (Jamie long 12,34,56, James Dact 87, Mark moddr 65)

Hello good people, the grand opening of the quall cup 2 in ipeland got off to the best possible start for homelands our today as the team thumped Hutt river 5-0.
This rivalry with Hutt river has took a twist with the above result. Other thrashings in other groups will be shown later but what all of these show is that the quall cup has almost too big a skill gap between some of the teams. Hutt River also came to the first quall cup but Also fell at the quarter finals.

Jamie long, our new captain came into this game with a lot to prove to the media back home as the promotion to captain was unexpected from all even from Jamie.
Leading his team out at the van city stadium long sang his national anthem with gusto. Kicking the game off with a pass to James Dact long soon got the breakthrough in the 12th minute of play. Long's brace was scored by him after 34 that took us up to half time.

After 15 minutes in the dressing room the players came back out, after Hutt River.
Long again got his name on the score sheet with a goal to make his hat trick on the 56th. Long had got his name in the mornings papers by then and from then on in took the back seat. Mark moddr a veteran to this team joined long on the sheet with a super long-ranged shot nearly from the half-way line. James Dact followed them both to round up the five on the 87th.

How the group looks

FortGeorge 1–3 Western cuba

Hakkland provided a real signal of intent with a thrilling demolition of Palmont to get their Quall Cup 2 campaign off to a flying start.

Image
Hakkland 4 - 1 Palmont

Coming into the tournament without injured talisman Mårten Jørgensen, doubts over the future of coach Kristian Ottarsson and the young squad in the competition, many might have expected Hakkland to struggle in Ipeland.
But if their effervescent display is anything to go by, the hakklensk team could be real contenders for the title.
Jakob Oqvist and Ludvig Sørenssen continued their remarkable scoring record at international level with a goal apiece to take their joint tally to 88, Stefan Jakobsson and Karl Hammarström added the gloss, while in playmaker Kolbjørnssen they appear to have found a real superstar.

Hakkland, though, had given notice of their attacking class long before that.
Oqvist has already been denied by Palmont's keeper when Sørenssen drilled in the opener from Kolbjørnssen's cross, and moments after Oqvist had wasted another glorious chance, poking wide from eight yards, the FC Høgstad man nodded in Phillip Karlsson's delicious cross to make it 2-0.
Kolbjørnssen twice had the chance to get on the scoresheet having been sent through one-on-one, his first effort cleared off the line by the keeper and his touch failing him the second time.
Palmont's keeper did his best to keep the score down, saving twice from Oqvist and once apiece from Jakobsson and Sørenssen as Hakkland tore through the Palmont defences time and again.

Image
Oqvist and Nilsson celebrating Hakkland's 2nd goal

But the keeper could do little about Hakkland's third, Landstrom tucking in off the post from the edge of the area, and even less about their fourth, substitute Hammarström tapping in from Kolbjørnssen's centre.
Ottarsson took the opportunity to rest the likes of Oqvist, Kolbjørnssen and Sørenssen thereafter and, as a result, the Hakklensk were unable to maintain their fluidity in attack in the closing stages.
However, the Hakklensk's work had long been done at that point and they saw the match out in comfort to take top spot in Group B and serve warning to their rivals in Ipeland.
