Yes, congratulations Cosumar! I wish I'd have RPed more, but RL sucks.

Anyway, Have Some Ranks!

Couple of notes. First, I'm using the 4-2-1 weighting system I said I would this time. Second, Ro12 matches were not counted, as not all teams partook.

To Star United States: Where is the RP permissions box used for the tourney?
I don't know how long I'll be back, but I just thought I'd stop in and say hi, at least.

Hey! I have edited in an example of one into the OP of the RP/Results thread.
However, here it is:

Example RP permissions box.

If my opponent RPs first, he/she may:
===================================
Chose my goal scorers: Yes/No
Godmod scoring events: Yes/No
Suspended my players: Yes/No
Godmod suspension events: Yes/No
Godmod other events: Yes/No

Splitting up the teams by rank points. Pot 1 is the highest ranked teams, Pot 2 the next highest, etc. When drawing the groups, one team from each pot is selected to make them fair. But beyond that, they're not important.

What are rank points? How do you determine which team has the highest rank point? Based on previous World Lacrosse tournaments?

Correction: Since he has posted a roster, RPed and done well in the previous ones. A tournament win or runner up finish just boosts it up.

I didn't even realize how lucky I got with the Pot placement. Being one of those two teams that were in a pot with a bunch of ranked teams? Good work Star :P

My first opponent didn't submit a roster. I have referred to generic terms (by nation name). What do I do?

Don't make up any information, just use general terms, as you said. Focus more on your own team if that helps.

With a draw and a win in my first-ever tournament in any sport, my nation is the underdog story of the tournament :D

Sorry, mate. If the group stage was a few games longer, like a double round-robin, maybe you would've been able to build up enough RP bonus. Better luck in WLC 22!

Well, all I had to do was get a single point against West Guiana, OR for Mytannion to tie or lose, and I'd be in the playoffs. Do those things happen? NO!

OOC: I'll be back for WLC 22.
