The Gregory Cup-For Lockey (Closed) Everything

Welcome to the first edition of the Gregory Cup, the premier international lockey tournament. This tournament is named after lockey's inventor (IC of course) John Gregory. The tournament will be played at the Swift Center, 17,000 attendance, and the Market Sports Complex, 15,000 Attendance, both in swift. This tournament is all about spreading lockey and introducing it to the international community. Along with association football, it is one of the most popular sports in ABK. An explanation of the rules of lockey can be found here

OOC: I know I am going to be asked this so here goes: women/non-humans are permitted to play in this tournament, however, in Abcdefghijklmnopqrstuk, women do not play lockey, due to their greater interest in basketball, lacrosse, swimming, track and field, rowing, and cycling. It is completely your choice if you want to bring women or non-humans though.

Positions of Lockey
*Goalkeeper-Blocks the goal
*Sweeper-Is the last line of defense before the goalkeeper
*2 (Left and Right) Fullbacks-Defend against the opposing teams wingers and attacker
*Rover-Is both offensive and defensive, plays all over the field, only the best conditioned players play this position. Helps transition from offense to defense.
*2 (Left and Right) Wingers-Pass the ball up to the attacker, and try to score
*Attacker-Attacks the goal, often scores the most.

Scorination/RP Bonus Info

I will be using the lacrosse scorinator on xkoranare 0.3.2, i have found this to give out scores consistent with lockey.
RP Bonuses will be given out at either 10, 20, or 30% depending on quality and quantity. I will be using a cumulative RP Bonus.

Are there significant differences between lockey and box lacrosse, aside from the size of the teams? Perhaps some tweaking to establish lockey's niche more firmly will be good.

I'll probably sign up my puppet Ruadha (Passionate Redheads) for this. They're into sports with sticks. Invented sports are to be encouraged when they make sense.

It is mostly the same, except that Lockey plays with the ball on the ground. it is more like Ice Hockey on grass.

Definitely interested, with little knowledge of lacrosse (I know it's rough), ice hockey (I know it's tough) or hockey (isn't that just for girls?). So a lot to learn.

I think the Experimental Sports Department at the Academy for International Relations will put together a team of enthusiasts on behalf of Tamarindia.
