Yes.

A little observation: Of the 60 nations participating, 34 nations are unranked.
Only 8 of the top 20 are returning.

In other words, this is a potentially WIDE OPEN tournament. The door is wide open for newcomers to have success in this, I hope to see a lot of the newcomers stepping up and taking advantage of this.

Again, these rankings are wide open. An unranked nation who produces a good roster and a good roleplay before matchday 1, is going to be equivalent to a nation that is around 20th place in the rankings, RIGHT OFF THE BAT, before anything is scorinated.

There are really only two nations with a "monster" rank value going into the tournament: The Andomeda Islands and Cassadaigua. Now, given that the World Bowl is going to be running concurrently and I am going to be hosting this, expect my RP effort to be focused in the World Bowl thread, and not as much here, so my nation will not necessarily be a "monster" all tournament. As for The Andromeda Islands, well, you need one big gun to shoot down!

MD1 is Thursday, May 1. Today was a hype/excitement build up day, and to give fodder for people to RP off of if they wanted to do something other then: I predict so and so will have this record and finish in this place in the group.
