It's based off of win %, which you were 6/10 or 60%. Then if I remember correctly that is multiplied by 10 (non-playoff team) to get you at the 6.00 (10*0.60).
per ES a few pages back:
Rankings Formula:
- Most recent World Bowl (WB22) is counted 100%; previous World Bowl (WB21) is counted 50%; World Bowl before that (WB20) is counted 25%
- Champions receive 15 points
- Playoff stage teams receive (Overall Win %) * 15 points
- Non-playoff teams receive (Overall Win %) * 10 points
Hope that helps

1. by one time only boost do you mean you will be removing the roster boost after game one?
2. As for the tiebreakers, I'm fine with what you have but...Why only use two?
Now hear me out first. I know there are four listed plus a coin flip, so essentially five, but after the group stage when you'll most likely need the tiebreakers the most I only count two that will matter (except where group mates that qualify are tied); Wins and Overall Point Differential. In most cases if there is a tie on points it will throw out tiebreaker one (Wins, not always but often is the case), so in a sense your only using one tiebreaker for seeding and that is PD. I'd prefer more but, eh nit picky I suppose.
3. I don't remember seeing this so apologies if it is in there. Will all games be played in Taeshan, or a home/away type at each nations venue?Super-Llamaland wrote:Scorinator/RP Bonuses
Rosters will be graded on a scale from 0 - 5, RPs on a scale from 0 - 2.5. The last five days of RP bonus will be used, meaning the maximum RP bonus is 17.5. The scorinator used will be NSFS 3.0.1, on the American Football setting because using the baseball or soccer setting would make your offenses kind of lame.
1. With the max RP bonus set to 17.5 how would a team with 0 rank be able to compete against a top side? Seeing as the top active user has 22.70.
Perhaps I'm missing how you'll be inputting this so it will effectively help active users.
2. I see the same issue with tiebreakers as Taeshan, where for seeding purposes there is essentially only one going to be used. Any reasons on why so few?
3. I don't think I noticed this either, but did see it mentioned about the playoffs. Will all games be in Super-Llamaland and San José Guayabal, or will groups games be home/away at each nations venue?

Because this is a tournament for newcomers, some helpful feedback will be offered. First of all, I would post significant background information about Gregoryisgodistan and the venues before the tournament starts, to offer a basis for RP. But the most important innovation will happen after the tournament concludes. I will send a TG to every new nation (i.e. not puppets) that posted at least 1 RP during the tournament offering some constructive feedback on what I think they did well and offering some advice as to what they could work on to become a better RPer. The purpose of the BoI is not just to get ranking points. It's to help users prepare for the World Bowl and the rest of the NSSports World. If there are any experienced nations who happen to be signing up for their first World Bowl but have significant experience elsewhere on NSSports that they don't think this would be helpful, they can TG me at any point before the end of the tournament to opt out. (And it's worth noting that at least one nation who will be participating in this year's BoI has been on NSSports longer than I have, so this might not be too helpful for him.)
1. I like your idea here on the feedback after tournament end, as well as the details you plan to offer before the start. Do you also plan to offer RP ideas/bonuses throughout?
2. What safety measures will be put in place so visiting nations are not crushed??? (that's the most important thing for newcomers I would imagine )
3. That's a ton of tiebreakers too

If I am selected to host, all players, coaches and fans traveling to Gregoryisgodistan will receive special papers proving that they are there for the tournament. As long as they have those papers on their person at all times, they will not be subject to most of our laws as described above. However, if they fail to present those papers when stopped for violating a law, they will be prosecuted as normal up to and including execution. Oocly, this gives nations a chance to RP characters being subject to the insane Gregoryisgodistani laws if they want to, while giving them an opt out if they don't.

How has an Esportivan coalition not invaded Gregoryisgodistan to effect a regime change yet? How would a regime/tyrant like this that tortures their own people blatantly, starts wars out of IC butthurt, and kills foreign nationals on a whim still exist for this long and not pissed anyone off?

They're the North Korea of NS Sports. For some reason, nobody ever bothers to actually invade them, even though they've more than earned it (to put it mildly).

Hicana has bombed us and invaded us. We did far more damage to them than they did to us, but then they bombed their own country, completely destroying it but killing 100,000 of our soldiers. And they evacuated all their citizens before that. So we had more casualties in the war, but their whole country was destroyed.
