Format

Depends on the amount of teams. Even numbers are preferred, and groups shouldn't comprise of more than five teams. The second round will be a round of eight if there are less than 20 teams entered, or a round of sixteen if we have above 22. If we have 21 then Krytenia will be split into West Starblaydia and South Mertagne and will compete as two teams.

After points earned, the Head to Head result will be the main seperator, followed by goal-difference and then wins. Should the teams remain deadlocked after these are taken into account, a game of scissors-paper-stone will be played in the centre-circle between opposing managers, with the winner being the one with the larger RP bonus.

Scorination

Xkoranate. SQIS. Nothing controversial.

RP Bonus

There will be a cumulative RP bonus that rewards effort and creativity, with bonuses for users who particularly go above and beyond with their RP.

Hosting Experience

In international football, Audioslavia has co-hosted three World Cup tournaments (WC7, WC25 and WC66) and hosted AOCAF Cup 42, as well as two 'Jeremy Jaffacake Jamboree' tournaments. Audio the person has a big hand in the ultra-complex LigAnaia domestic sports league, and ran the last World Grand Prix Championship.

Timing

The RP/Roster/Scores thread would go up very soon after voting ends, with the draw happening a few days after.

The earliest the tournament could start is December 8th and the latest I'd like to finish is December 22nd.

Matchday cut-offs would happen between 10pm and 2am UTC, most likely veering towards the former.

The quasi-governmental entity of Tropicorp has put out a call amongst a subset of its scientists, researchers and engineers for support on an upcoming project. The project requires exposure to competitive football.

As such, Tropicorp will conditionally enter the AOCAF XLIX, if the numbers work for them to. If they need to be sent home to avoid embarrassment, they can be.
