The only game one RP, and the only 0-2 record!`
Also, here is my previously buried Bowl Game suggestion:

I assume this would be okay, but I thought I should check first. I would like to include press coverage from one of my puppets(Congo and Zambezi River Wilderness, alternately renamed just today as simply Congo and Zambezi) which has a player on my team. I know I could post it from my main, but ICly I feel a more compelling reason to post from either of those accounts. Any objections?

Personally, I wouldn't have any objection, but I'd suggest making sure that whoever is scorinating your conference is aware that you're RPing from that nation to ensure that you get an RP bonus for it.

Thank you. There are still storylines that need to develop before I would want to unveil the press coverage, so it may be closer to mid-late season. Still, it was on my mind, and may(?) impact how the storyline develops along the way.

I'll be sure to post an OOC note to remind all parties in the current season of who the heck C&Z is.

Edit: I don't know what is up with my quote feature...that is the second one tonight it has not posted correctly.

I could probably check that for you, actually... remind me later. I have a database of all NSCF results somewhere. Need to update it with last season's numbers anyway.

I think the record for best defensive record across a season was something like 4.5 ppg allowed, though. Good luck!

For the curious, here is the all-time standings sheet. Every result so far should be in there (including this season). I haven't finished updating the conferences for some past games, and I haven't checked ALL my calculations (yet) but this is what I've been building up over the past however many seasons.

I intend to implement an Elo calculation and all-time OSPI eventually. Trying to find the best way to do it first. Some other stats will be added over time, too (like Avg PD per game, streaks, etc) as well as a bunch of other things that are currently missing because I haven't had time.

The list of non-conference games should be updated.

While the deadline was supposed to be tomorrow, I will be extending it until after Matchday 6 as the list was not updated in a timely manner.

I just realised that when I was copy/pasting KMU's roster over from last season, I appear to have deleted their style mod. I thought those scores looked a bit odd for a defensive team.

Free Republics*, could you change KMU's stye mod to -3 please? Thankyou.

Since the one bid for the NSCF Championship Game was posted after the MD10 cutoff, the deadline will be extended until the end of non-conference play to allow time for other bids.

I should note that hosting the NSCF Championship Game is IC-only and that the game itself will, like all non-conference and postseason games, be scorinated by the commissioner, unless one of the commissioner's schools is participating in it (in which case, it will be scorinated by a third party scorinator chosen at the discretion of the commissioner).

I wasn't going to bid to host the NSCF championship game, due to my very limited scorinating abilities(I'm still learning how to xkoronate my domestic league). But if I'm not required to scorinate, then may as well.

Liberty Stadium: Istria, National Capitol Region

Capacity of 70,000.

IC information: This is part of the bid to further integrate Banija into the NSCF, and to further grow the support and the league in Banija. With bringing the NSCF title game to Banija in their first ever season in this league, then that will bring a great opportunity for fans to see other teams besides just Northern Moravica, which will help grow the league and league revenues as fans in Banija continue to watch the NSCF.

Bowl Proposal

Frontier Bowl

To be played between 2nd/3rd Horizon & 2nd/3rd Woodland

Location: Blackrock Stadium, Newland, West Barunia
Capacity: 80,000
Image

Karl Marx University, along with the Ministry of Sport, invite colleges from the Horizon and Woodland conferences to compete in Barunia. The purpose of this bowl is to further the sport of gridiron, or "football", in this country, and to give Barunians a chance to see some top quality teams go head to head. To this end, the game will not be played in Samford, at KMU's modest ground, but in Newland, at the country's largest indoor stadium. Blackrock stadium has played host to domestic finals in both football (aka soccer) and (field) hockey, as well as formerly being used for World Cup qualifiers. The field has not had any gridiron played on it before, but has been selected as it can easily be adapted to suit.

The Bowl does not have a corporate sponsor, for the simple reason that any such sponsorship would be illegal under Barunian law.
