Background

American Engineering was started in the years after the Great Proletariat Uprising. It started with just a handful of factories and a few million workers, scientists, and engineers. It has grown since then into the premier industry firm on (my) world. It specializes in highly technological methods to mass produced products on a scale previously unseen in the world.

It’s current owner is Jane Framington famed designer of most of the ships of the American Navy, namely the Artesian Class Fleet Carrier, and the Invictus Class X-Gen Battleship. The company owns around 1,500 facilities around (my) the world. It designs for all aspects of life in the USSA. Now, due to an enormous supply we now have to export goods from this company to the rest of the world.

Contractual Agreement between the customer and American Engineering

Article 1 Payment- The Method and arrival of payment is set by the customer, however, the stipulation is that payment must have been made in full by the time the last of the product arrives, unless otherwise agreed by this firm.

Article 2 Requests- Requests can be made if none of the products on our lists meet the needs of the customer nation, group, or individual. There is stipulation placed on our firm by the government of the USSA that no weapons of mass destruction (WMDs) be built for customers.

Article 3 Product Restrictions- Our firm must trust whose hands our fine products are going to, so we mave have restrictions on what kind of product our customers may buy. These restrictions will be few and far between, but this is a precautionary note.

Article 4 The Blacklist-Anyone who commits and act of fraud against the firm or an account of gross slander (OoC: I.E. criticism that doesn’t help me improve my products “Your store sucks!”) will be added to the blacklist, either temporarily or permanently. While on the blacklist a nation should not make a post on this thread, we will follow a three strikes policy, on the third we will inform the moderator staff. This does not however extend to one of our sister companies or puppet nations so long as the noted behavior does not continue.

Article 5-Discounts- there are a number of discounts available to pick up, these will be accounted for after all other price modifications, any nation that does not actually qualify for these discounts will be considered purchasing fraudulently. Pistols

Pistols are the quintessential handgun, these weapons are available in Military and Police Models (the police models have no mag variation). The M11 also can be sold as a civilian model

The M1 Marksman’s pistol was developed in 2041 by American Engineering. The weapon was to meet a product call by the government of the United Socialist States of America, to create a pistol that was accurate at long range, and that had mountings for a scope of significant power. This weapon passed the test with flying colors. It is the hands of all of the USSA Armed Forces.

This was accomplished by taking the M11 pistol and increasing the propellant charge so that the standard round would be able to travel farther. The pistol was enlarged and a small rail added so that one could fit a x2 scope onto the pistol.

The M11 Pistol, also known as the Korth was designed in 2032 as a replacement for the aging M9 Beretta Pistol that the USSA Armed Forces and Police taskforce had been using. It was the only valid entry into the trial for the contract and therefore won hands down. While it is still in service in these sections, there is a program underway to replace it.

This pistol is very much like its time in the fact that it fires the standard 9mm cartridge, and that it uses the standard pistol configuration. It is quite cheap, and while this makes the performance poorer than many more expensive pistol designs. It does however have loose tolerance.

Shotguns

Shotguns, also known as scatterguns, hackbuts, or hagbushes. Are usually inaccurate weapons that fire a wall of lead. However, there are many types of ammunition that these weapons typically fire. These weapons are available in only tactical and civilian versions, however, the tactical versions can have the full kit. (Note: the ranges given are for Buckshot).

The Mk15 Shotgun was developed after numerous complaints about the Mk14's dangerous recoil. It was built with a stock and re-chambered to fire a lighter .14 Gauge cartridge. In order to comply with a military desire to have a Close Assault Weapon however, the pump action was replaced with a gas operated automatic action. In Civilian and Police models this is replaced with a Semi-Automatic firing pin. This weapon has become the intended replacement around the country.

Assault Rifles

The assault rifle is the standard rifle of the average infantryman. They are normally designed for light weight, large ammunition capacity, and hitting power. They usually use high power cartridges, and feature fully automatic settings. These weapons are, now, designed for long-range accuracy instead of automatic firepower, although most will have a burst setting. Many of these weapons will also feature police models, which will remove a fully automatic setting (if any) and will not have mountings for bayonets or grenade launcher.

The Mk36 was designed by American Engineering, in 2046, using experience from the Tundric War. It was found that the 5.7mm round was insufficient to hit targets at range. The Mk36 was designed with this in mind and is currently in the hands of the Proletarian Guard and Marine Corps.

The Mk36 is an “8mm Mauser”, and utilizing gyrojet ammunition. This weapon was not designed with a fully automatic setting, instead using a 3 round burst. Otherwise, this weapon is very much like its predecessor.

The H90 was developed in 2055 to replace the Mk36, it is the first truly modular weapons system. It is currently the primer Infantry Personal Weapon. It is small (well if the weapon is not loaded down with attachments. It is currently is service with the Praetorian Guard and is not available in Police Models.

The H90 is a 5.7x32mm Gyrojet rifle. It is light, fast, and has true modular weapons capability. It is capable of adding attachments without mounting brackets. The H90 is also able to be converted to a bullpup design. It has the ability to add a folding or collapsing stock, and a few barrel adjustments.

This weapon was developed in response to a sudden drop in the purchase of the RAR-1. It was found out that this was because of the expense of ammunition required to fire the RAR-1 and it's grenade launcher were too high for the intended customer. This weapon was developed in response to that development. The RAR-2 kept the original reliability of the RAR-1, but it is chambered to fire the 7.62X39mm cartridge and the grenade launcher was replaced with a built in bayonet. As with the RAR-1 this weapon makes use of wood furnishings.

Sub Machine Guns

Sub Machine Guns are automatic weapons that were originally intended for support of the standard rifle. The SMG is also almost always set to full auto. The exception to this are civilian models which are converted to semi-automatic. The SMG is now issued, primarily to police and vehicle crews, though, many infantrymen carry these weapons due to their light weight and portability.

In response to chronic supply shortages, and a desire to phase out the overly bulky Mk-36 Combat Rifle's 7.92X57mm round. The H-90 and it's 5.7X32mm Gyrojet round were adopted. Shortly thereafter, a massive weapons design program was initiated to make variants for an already easily modified H-90 Modular Assault Rifle. This is the Submachine Gun Modification, it has a much shorter barrel and most of the options for a under barrel device were replaced with a pistol grip to more firmly hold the weapon as it fires.

Sniper Rifles

Sniper Rifles are rifles designed to hit at longer ranges and with greater accuracy than their service contemporaries. They have longer barrels and tend to have slower rates of fire. Some of these weapons come in a tactical version.

In response to chronic supply shortages, and a desire to phase out the overly bulky Mk-36 Combat Rifle's 7.92X57mm round. The H-90 and it's 5.7X32mm Gyrojet round were adopted. Shortly thereafter, a massive weapons design program was initiated to make variants for an already easily modified H-90 Modular Assault Rifle. This is the Squad Designated Marksman Rifle Modification. This weapon is the maximum allowed length of the H-90, this is used to increase the accurate range of the H-90 beyond it's normal extreme. It also has an electronic interface for a LASER sight. Also, on a final note it is incapable of burst fire.

The AEISS (pro: ace) was design in 2046 during the Great Gun Purge. It was designed to replace the M24. It quickly took its place and earned fame in German hands during the assault on the German border. It currently serves in the Sniper Corps of the USSA and those of the UK, the Wermacht, and the French National Army. It also serves in the USSA police force.

The AEISS has composite furnishings and all of the accouterments of a fully kitted weapon of sniping. It has recently been re-chambered to fire 7.92x52mm gyrojet ammunition, a round which has increased the effective range of the weapon, while reducing the overall size of the round (slightly). This weapon while not cheap is to be guaranteed to be worth the price. On a modern battlefield, you can't afford to be frugal.

The M111 was designed in during the purge of 2046. The AMR, was designed to take out vehicles in excess of 1.5 miles. This weapon like the AEISS served in Germany. The M111 serves in the USSA, German, British and French forces.

The M111 fires a massive .50 BMG cartridge, that can take out, Rhinos, Cape Buffalo, the occasional Land Rover. It is a bolt action design, that is quite light for a weapon its size. However, due to its immense unwieldiness it almost always needs to be accompanied by an assault rifle. Its scope has night vision capability

Machine Guns

Machine Guns are weapons built to spray the enemy with bullets. They serve several purposes within the military. Their first mission, hit alot of stuff, lots of times, very quickly, the second is to provide suppressive fire, of course, many models of LMG can be accurate. This is the most common use of the Light Machine Gun. The Police would have no use for these weapons, and as most of these weapons are still in military use, American Engineering has not produced a civilian model for any of these weapons.

In response to chronic supply shortages, and a desire to phase out the overly bulky Mk-36 Combat Rifle's 7.92X57mm round. The H-90 and it's 5.7X32mm Gyrojet round were adopted. Shortly thereafter, a massive weapons design program was initiated to make variants for an already easily modified H-90 Modular Assault Rifle. This is the Light Machine Gun Modification. It is the same overall length as the H-90 Rifle, however, it has been given a larger normal clip size and the 30 round clip is not manufactured for the LMG mod (that is not to say however, that it is impossible to fit a 30 round clip to an LMG). It also has the additional option of a pistol grip, a much less bulky alternative to the bipod for a mobile shooter.

The M42 was designed in 2042, when it was decided when the existing M60 was to old for continued use. It survived the Tundric War and more recently has been in the hands of the United Kingdom’s SAS, as well as the Swedish Army, unfortunately the weapon fell into Polish hands when Sweden surrendered after an attack on their nation in 2055. It is currently in the hands of the Proletarian Guard as a Medium Machine Gun, the Praetorian Guard as a Squad Automatic Weapon, the Polish Revolutionary Guard, and the British SAS.

The M42 is a GPMG design using the 7.62mm NATO cartridge. The weapon is quite bulky to most firers and is somewhat hard to control. It does however pack a serious punch, that would be capable of stopping most targets in their tracks.

The M62 was designed as a Heavy Machine Gun. This weapon due to the size is an Anti-Material Weapon, and outside of the USSA has yet to see any major actions. It is currently in the hands of the USSA Army (both Proletarian, and Praetorian).

The M62, needs a team of two men and should not really be considered a personal firearm, the weapon is hard to control. This weapon is the largest a weapon can feasibly be to fire rapidly and still have the ability to be a personal firearm. This cartridge can in fact penetrate soft skinned and even lightly armored vehicles. Attached is a bipod.

Grenade, Rocket, and Missile Launchers

These are weapons that fire projectiles that are significantly larger than bullets at a lower muzzle velocity. These weapons are typically used to destroy tanks and other armored vehicles, they, if loaded with the right ammunition, can also be used to terrifying effect on large groups of infantry. Only grenade launchers will have tactical models.

The SAGL 1was developed in 2031 by American Engineering for police use. It was a revolutionary design for this style of operation. It aced the tests and soon found use in both police and military branches.

The SAGL 1 uses an ejection action to reload the weapon and reprime it for firing. The weapon, uses a wide variety of low velocity grenades. It also has a comparably short range. This is the one weakness. The police version cannot fire military grenades which are a negligible bit wider to prevent police launchers from firing them.

The Mk 3 was designed in 2058 as the most recent addition to the Rocket Launching world. In 2059 it passed the test and is now serving with the USSA Army as a Squad Tacticial AT weapon.

The Mk3 fires an 84mm gyrojet round, which, while this increases ballistic speed, also limits the Mk3 to firing HE and HEDP rockets. However, it does give the Mk3 a range equal to those of its guided bretheren. It utilizes the new bottom feed mechanism, meaning, it can more quickly load instead of loading in the back which also means it doesn't require use of a second person as a loader. allowing for greater amounts of time to target.

The TOW II was designed by an Old USA corporation during the Pennisular War. It was quickly slurped up by American Engineering and redesigned. This weapon was phased out of service when a newer system was built, and now it only finds production for militaries in developing nations.

The TOW II is a wire-guided ATGM using 84mm missiles. The reason for its dating is in fact, the fly by wire system which requires the firer to remain stationary and exposed while the missile is in flight. That said, this weapon is very cheap and quick on the reload due to its bottom feed.

The M11 was designed in 2045 during the Tundric War. It was meant to replace the TOW II system, which was not able to perform the duties needed on the battlefield. This weapon is currently in the hands of the USSA Army.

The M11 uses a Laser Guidance system, which, while is not a new thing, is newer than those of Radar guidance and wire guidance. It also uses the bottom feed to load allowing for more aiming and faster reloads. It is the only ML produced by American Engineering to use Solid Shot Ammunition, which is, in other words, a really big bullet.

The ML17 is a shoulder mounted SAM launcher built by American Engineering after the Tundric War. This weapon was built due to the need for a high velocity surface to air missile, that could be easily carried by 1 person. It is in the hands of the USSA Army.

The ML17 uses the bottom feed mechanism and has a Radar guidance system. It uses a proximity warhead that detonates within 3 feet of the target, disallowing the pilot from that extra second to get out of lock.

Hollow Point-Very Lethal ammunition, as it expands creating a large concussive cavity. that is often used by the police.
Tracer-Normally seen in automatic weapons, this uses a phosphorus content to make the bullet more visible
Gyrojet-A type of ammunition that typically makes the bullet smaller than usual, but once fired it acts like a miniature rocket. (Gyrojet weapons can only fire gyrojet ammunition).

Personal Body Armor

An ancient concept, the idea of personal body armor goes back at least 2 millennium. What started out as a simple metal plate has evolved into the adaptive, bulletproof trauma vests. Our armor most often comes in entire suits (will be marked as such) however, we can make it so only the vests are sent, this will be a 60% reduction in price. We use the NATO Stanag system to rate our armor's protective level.

The M1 Trauma Vest was designed in 2038 to replace existing armors. It was a vest type piece of armor. It was built using a new material called Silksteel which, with a single strand, has the tensile strength of 2 tightly wrapped strings of spider silk (which is the equivalent of high-grade steel). This makes for a very light weight for a very high degree of protection, this type of armor sees use by the Police Forces of the world over.

Reflexive CA was developed in 2046 after the Tundric War, it was chosen as a military armor replacement for the earlier M1 Trauma Vest. It very quickly became famous for after it's adoption. It uses Mk2 Silksteel which was vastly tougher than the one in in the M1 Trauma Vest. This is shown that a full suit weighs only 5 pounds more. It is designed with an internal web belt and the ability to fit underneath fatigues. The flaw with this armor is that it must be fitted to an individual. It sees use in the USSA Proletarian Guard.

Mk1 Adaptive Combat Armor was developed very near in time, in 2052. It is this meant to be a project to miniaturize mechs. While nowhere near this goal, it was a very solid suit of armor. It is the first power armor to come out of our factories, it has immense protection. It is powered by a rather large battery in the back of the suit which has a roughly 6 hours of power in it. The problem is that this armor is very heavy. This is offset by "muscle fibers" implanted in the armor to supplement the user's own strength. Also embedded is an internal web-belt and a chameleon mechanism, which allows the armor to adapt to it's environment, basically, with a little power, it can have limited camouflage capability. Units typically include Cryptocom Battle Analysis Computers, akin to the old Land Warrior systems of the first half of the century, this provides GPS information and up to the minute information on the location of enemies, and a communicator. This is in the hands of the USSA Praetorian Guard.

M1 Infiltrator Armor (also known as InfilArm) was built for intelligence agencies who wanted armor for operatives, but didn't like the blatant suits of armor of old. This is achieved by using M2 Silksteel, and fashioning said suits into regular clothing, this method quickly got contracts. Tracked and Wheeled Vehicles

Tracked and wheeled vehicles are the most common, and archaic of the vehicles that we make. They use technologies that are well over 175 years old. The vast majority of these vehicles also make use of the traditional internal combustion engine.

The Mk1 Gorgon was designed while the dust of the Proletarian Uprising was still settling. It was designed as an Urban Infantry Carrier Vehicle. It makes use of 6 wheels and an off-road suspension to traverse territory unheard of by earlier designs, and it was a no frills design that allowed for a small price tag. These two factors kept it in service long after its contemporaries, and it was only 2 years ago, that it was removed in favor of the M3 Rhino.

Hover Vehicles

Hover Vehicles are vehicles are objects, that for whatever reason float on a cushion of air. For the most part this is done through the use of lift fans. This however, burns fuel like it were ammunition in a chaingun, for this reason, most hover vehicles make use of small fusion reactors to propel the tank, power the system, and power weapons.

The M26 Powell, is one of the premier hover tanks of the world, it is the first main battle tank of the USSA. It makes use of multiple revolutionary systems. The Barun was developed as a direct fire artillery piece. It, during the field tests was found to also be quite effective at indirect fire. Aircraft

Our military aircraft are the primary server in the USSA Air Forces. They were intended to defend the skies of the USSA from the still powerful US military. Today, with large budget cuts to defense we are over-producing some military aircraft. If this effect is in order it will be noted on the product.

Fighter Aircraft

Fighter Aircraft are what most people think when they hear military aircraft. They are meant to maintain reasonably high speeds and typically engage other aircraft or soft ground targets. These are also the most complex and typically most expensive aircraft to produce. All of our fighters use thrust vectoring technology

The F-51 is currently the most advanced fighter in use, as well as the start of the 6th Generation fighter line. It was developed in 2058 by American Engineering to test a system in use by the Chinese Military, and yet unseen elsewhere. This system called the Connection For Flight Interface or COFFIN system. This enables the pilot to with verbal commands control the aircraft, this allows for fewer losses due to pilot error, and increases the speed just enough to allow a significant advantage on the battlefield. Also included with this aircraft was the innovation known as the Pulse Detonation Scramjet which allows for a much faster aircraft. It is currently in service with the USSA “Angels of Death” section of the air force.

The F-51 is a Pulse Detonation Scramjet (PDS) COFFIN aircraft capable of mach 4 it however, can only sustain a speed a little over Mach 3, this makes it the current fastest combat aircraft in the world. It is also noted that this aircraft can perform the Cobra Turn Maneuver & the double Kulbit Manuever. With advanced electronics and the well known AEIAAM-1 Long Range Air to Air Missile this aircraft can intercept and destroy aircraft at a standoff range of close to 50 miles. With the COFFIN and its enormous mobility at low speeds the F-51 can also dogfight with incredible ease. Due to its massive wing surface, it is a very awkward appearing fighter. It was designed with both internal and external hard points. When using external points stealth is lost and the plane cannot exceed Mach 1 for fear that it would tear apart due to the immense G forces acting on the plane.

The A/F-32 is a light strike multirole fighter. It was designed in 2047 during the great weapons purge. This plane is built to be a cheap alternative to the specialize fighters filling any other roll. It is a 5.5th generation fighter with a fairly standard AE Mk105 after-burning turbofan engine. This is placed so that that the aircraft has STOVL capability. This aircraft is currently in service with the USSA Airforce the USSA Navy, The German Luftwaffe, The German Kregsmarine, the British Royal Airforce, the Indian Airforce, the South African Republican Airforce, and the Egyptian Airforce.

The A/F-32, has a light, 5th generation airframe, this is combined with STOVL capability to produce a reasonably stealthy, fast on the takeoff fighter, there have however been problems with the stealth when any sort of vertical flight has been engaged, the radar cross section is to large. This is made up for because of its cheap cost (comparatively), it can perform a Pugachev’s Cobra as well as a Kulbit maneuvers. With its speed and typical anti-air armaments, this aircraft can engage air targets at a standoff range of range of 5 miles, it is also a capable dog-fighter for its price. This aircraft lacks an external weapons bay, however, it is made up for by the increased fuel efficiency of a high efficiency engine. This aircraft has also been built for carrier landings.

The F-50 is an Air Superiority Fighter, that until recently was the best that American Engineering could offer. It has the first use of the Pulse Detonation Scramjet (PDS) Engine. It makes use of the immediate precursor to the COFFIN system it is known as the Integrated Computer Flight Assistant or the INCOM FA system, which takes some of the flight burdens from the pilot, and delegates said responsibilities to a computer system installed in the aircraft. With the proper armaments the F-50 can successfully engage air targets at a standoff range of 10 miles.This aircraft is capable of performing a Cobra Turn and a Kulbit.

The A-12 was an early design of American Engineering, it was built to be cheap yet effective (very much like the A-10 Thunderbolt II), it features only 5th generation techniques and does not have the advanced aeronautics of the later designs of American Engineering Aircraft. Due to its cost effectiveness however, it did survive the purge of 2045. This aircraft has not been sold off to other countries and remains in service with the USSA Air Forces.

The A-12 is much like its predecessor a no frills design, unlike the A-10 there has been nearly ½ century of technological improvement between the two. Heavy Aircraft

From the tactical bomber to the massive strategic air transport, these aircraft are meant for various tasks that some reason, the smaller fighter aircraft can’t handle. These jobs are typically force multiplier roles, transport, mid air refueling, AWACS, and other important and, yet unsung duties that will often win wars.

The B-176 is a strategic bomber designed by American Engineering in 2046 when, after the Tundric War the B-52, with its archaic design, and low flighy was deemed insufficient for further use. This bomber was one of three entries, and it won, although only because of its unique design. While, not used very often, this aircraft sees service in a special section of the USSA Air Force and the British RAF.

The B-176, is the first Sub-Orbital Military Aircraft, that carries weaponry. This was, in the end, what had the design win the competition, it flies well over the typical service ceiling, for a high altitude interceptor flies. This, however, means that the B-176 has hardly any armor, and no weapons. With this in mind, it is capable of using nuclear weapons, something, which won the RAF over, because of the fact that it flies at just the right altitude, to avoid kilsats and SAMs that its payload, would be nearly non-interceptable. It was built in a delta formation and therefore has no discernible wings. It has a pressurized cabin, but, just in case this aircraft will come equipped with space suits.

The C3 was developed in 2047 after the great weapons purge, it is not a true aircraft per say but a low level spacecraft, it however classified as a Strategic Air-lifter, as the service ceiling was deemed too low to be considered a true space craft. While fairly limited in role, this aircraft is still in service of the USSA Air Force.

The C-3 is designed with two massive thrusters meant to propel the craft into low orbit, once there it can very quickly traverse the below landmass. After a short period of time the C-3 will than deploy landing mechanisms and lower itself to the atmosphere, at this speed, it most enter at a low trajectory or break up once done, this aircraft can slow down and land almost anywhere, although it is greatly preferred to use large airfields, as this way the normal engines may be used to return home. This is the first transport with true VTOL capability, and the first to make use of a nuclear power source.

The C-33 was designed in 2044 during the military buildup to the Tundric War, however even with rush approval and production the first of these aircraft didn’t see action until the opening shots had been fired. This was a true baptism of fire and this aircraft pulled through. The ultimate success of this design was that it was comparably cheap, and easily Modified. It was no surprise that it didn’t take long before extensively modified variants came to be. The C-33 and all of its variants are exclusively used by the USSA Air Force.

All three designs are (thank you Captain Obvious) based around the same airframe, the primary differences are those of equipment, the C-33 is clearly a tactical air-lifter, the FC-33 is a mid-air refuel-er, finally the AC-33 is a gunship, not unlike the AC-130 Spooky. The E-42 was developed in 2041 to replace the E-747. This was the only entry and therefore passed with flying colors. This aircraft survived the great purge of 2046, and soon after, this aircraft, soon after completely replaced the older E-747. Also, soon after its introduction, it was found out that the E-42 is also quite effective at electronic warfare and quickly replaced the other E designated aircraft in this role in the air force. A variant was produced for carrier based aircraft, this variant has not enjoyed the success of the air force original. The E-42 sees use in the USSA Air Force, Navy, the British RAF, and Royal Navy.

The E-42 makes use of the flying wing design. This aircraft is made obvious by the triangular shape of the RADAR dish. This aircraft makes use of the predecessor to PDS engine. It has a limited stealth capability. By far this aircraft is the most alien design that American Engineering has ever produced. In addition this radar dish is know as the RORSAT 7. The R7 system is famous for its almost uncanny range, it is estimated that it may be possible for an R7 aircraft to see at a range 2500 kilometers.

Helicopters

Helicopters are the predecessor to more modern VTOLs they are however, cheaper to make. These can range from general attack helicopters, to specialized designs like anti-submarine, depth charge helicopters. However, these were starting to fall out of favor before American Engineering began it’s ascendancy and very few designs were produced.

The AH-47 was developed in 2038 as a replacement for the Apache Longbow. It enjoys limited success as an attack helicopter the primary reason for its long service life is the modest transport capacity of the helicopter. It is currently in service with the USSA Army.

The AH-47 is a general attack, rear “wheel” helicopter, however, it has the unusual ability to carry a squad of infantry, this makes for a bulky design, however, it is a very efficient design. Also, the AH-47 id capable of flight when in an inverted state. It utilizes internal weapons bays and rear rotor assembly to create a stealthier helicopter.

The UH-701 was designed in 2042 for the tactical transport, and general utility roles. It proved successful enough in the Tundric War to survive, however, one thing that planners did not see was the advancement of VTOL technology resulting in much more efficient VTOL craft covering the roles once played by helicopters, it quickly fell out of favor and now only sees use outside of the country, in South Africa, India, Egypt, and Greece.

VTOLs

VTOLs are the current trend. They are faster, cleaner, and neater than traditional helicopters. They are, while more expensive, fill in for their roles better. They, in the world have taken over many of the roles of traditional helicopters, and now, they are the primary means of aerial resupply, in the armed forces of the USSA

The M1 Scout VTOL was developed in 2046, as a prototype for the 2nd generation of VTOL technology. It was lightly equipped and armored for this reason. The M1 performed so well that it was sent to front line service. It currently sees service in the USSA only, as the AEI Engineers wanted this to remain a national design, however, do to a need of the government to pay war debt, they have authorized sale to other nations.

The M1 is a lightly armed and armored design and a revival of the scout helicopter design. It is a rapid strike element meant to get in stealthily attack (or spot for heavier attack) and leave before the enemy even realizes he is fighting. Therefore, all of it's weapons bays are internal. Due to their light armament, they are usually deployed in flights of three.

In 2049 the Hen became the second AEI designed VTOL, it was built soon after the M1 Scout succeeded. It was of a heavier base and frame than the Gull and can therefore transport infantry. It very quickly replaced the nearly seventy five year old Chinook Helicopter. It is now in service with the armies of the USSA as well as those of the EU.

The Hen is a heavy transport capable of a single IFV, or two light tactical trucks. It is also capable of transporting the troops to crew and occupy said vehicles. However, due to it's low speed it usually needs the escort unless there is just one, or you are in a friendly airspace.
