What is the Global 20 NS?
The Global Twenty (G-20 NS) Finance Ministers (or equivalent) and Representative of national member group was established to bring together important industrialized, developed and major developing economies together to discuss key issues in NationStates global economy.
Mandate
The G-20 NS is the premier forum for our international economic development that promotes open and constructive discussion between advanced-developed and major emerging-market nations on key issues related to nationstates global economic in conjunction to diplomatic stability. By contributing to the strengthening of the international financial architecture and providing opportunities for dialogue on national policies, international co-operation, and international financial institutions, the G-20 NS helps to support growth and development across NationStates.
Origin
The G-20 NS was created as a response to the emerging and growing international communities within NationStates. Both in terms of diplomatic and economic in-depth of NationStates.
The G-20 NS is the final solution to the growing question of how to identify whether a nation is an advanced and developed nation or an underdeveloped and overpopulated impoverished nation.
The G-20 NS only accepted the application of Innovative, Economically Developed, Influential - economically and politically, and Advanced Role-Playing nations, regardless of its ideology (capitalism, communism, socialism, fascism, etc.) and population (in terms of quantity).
System of Membership Rotation
Unlike most other international groups in NationStates, The G-20 NS will frequently inspect the eligibility of its current member, by way of vote within its Internal Council.
The Internal Council of the G20 NS are 5 (five) of the most influential members within the group selected by vote with in-depth IC discussion by the G20 NS's 20 (twenty) members.
Meetings and activities
It is normal practice for the G-20 NS finance ministers and ambassadors to meet once a week. The ministers' and ambassadors' meeting is usually preceded by two deputies' meetings and extensive technical work. This technical work takes the form of International diplomatic and economic review (Both IC in conjunction with OOC), reports and case studies on specific subjects (whether the subject nation is a member or not), that aim to provide ministers and governors with contemporary analysis and insights, to better inform their consideration of policy challenges and options within NationStates.
