Each mecha is built around a shell of titanium alloy, with a shell of rubberized plastics and kevlar with a holographic camouflage projector allowing the craft to change in color and pattern. Webbing around and to some extent inside the shell are strands of "muscle wire" rigged so that the shell can be flexed slightly, moving subsurface extra armor and sensors to were they are needed. The cabin is sealed against the local air, or lack of it, with it's own spacecraft-rated life support systems, has controls linked to an onboard A.I. which can explain how to work the craft and take over some of the weapon systems at times allowing the pilot time to get their craft out of danger. For weapons, a normal, off-the-assembly-line Beserker has twelve inbuilt grenade launchers and room for at least a hundred grenades in storage, laser firepower of the sort normally found only in large ships and a software hacking program as part of the A.I. in event of the enemy using robotics against you.
The two "legs" are rigged with EMP-moter-fiber allowing the Beserker not only to lift it's own wight but, throw about cars, while at the same time can be completely folded away for flight mode. In flight, a powerful antigravity projectors is able to keep the craft at near-orbital velocities,aid it in "jumping" huge distances and lastly, allow the Beserker to be launched from an orbiting spacecraft at a target in hit-and-run raids.
