Operated by the World Airport Authority
A Dungeyland Airport Authority Brand
IATA: SAI
ICAO: SAIA
The Sierra-Amarak International Airport is built on the former site of Amarak Interfederal Airport. Amarak Interfederal (or AMI) was an airport covering the city of Amarak in Kalasion. Eventually, a new airport was built nearby (known as New Amarak International Airport). AMI couldn't cope with the loss of trade, and so the Government and the Kalasion Airport Centre decided to close it down. The Dungeyland Airport Authority was at the time looking for airports to run and own, and decided to pursue the purchase of the grounds of AMI. The DAA fought a long and hard auction, but eventually won AMI. Under the name of the World Airport Authority (WAA), they decided to rename AMI as the Sierra-Amarak International Airport. The airport was to be upgraded from Interfederal status to International, and was named after former President Sierra Ventadi. As it is a recent airport upgraded from a low domestic/short-haul status, it is small, but we hope to expand it soon.

All vehicles are X-Rayed when entering SAI. The right to UV Thermal Scanning and checking is reserved for suspicious items in the X-Ray.
At Check-In, bags will be X-Rayed and UV'd again, and checking them is reserved again for suspicious behavior. After Check-In, you go through Security, in which your hand luggage is checked and you yourself are checked.
Once again, it will happen at the gate before entering onto the flight.
When you arrive in SAI, you will go through strict customs, not allowing any food or beverages past that point. (Domestic flights go through a separate area.)
There are also two SAI police/security stations per Terminal.
According to the laws we follow in Dungeyland, all airlines are checked randomly for security once a month. We also have the power to remove any airlines which don't comply with our Security Charter.
