Don Donuts is the newest brand of Marci's Food Group. Don Donuts is a Fioryan doughnut company, which also offers coffee and other sweet treats to customers. Don Donuts was previously Donuts Express, a company based in Igridia, Fiorya which had more than 200 stores nationwide in 2009 when it was acquired by MFG. Donuts Express was acquired as part of MFG's corporate strategy of acquiring profitable brands and developing them in line with MFG objectives and targeted markets.



Don Donut's History

In 2015, MFG announced that it was rebranding Donut Express into Don Donuts, and started developing a new line of donuts, desserts and coffee products to be served in the n. Franchisees of Donut Express were given the choice to adopt the new brand or have their franchises bought back by MFG.

In January 2016, MFG Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Reynald, the Baron Revstein officially launched Don Donuts and unveiled its international expansion plan. Lord Revstein also announced that some 200 stores will be opened in Fiorya alone, with 100 stores set to be constructed in the first quarter of fiscal year 2016 alone.

Don Donuts sells several varieties of donuts and in addition, offers an original menu which includes bagels, cookies, muffins among other baked and sweet goods. Don Donuts are sold in DD stores, partner hypermarkets and supermarkets and partner convenience stores.

DD's products have reduced trans fats from its menu items by switching to a blend of oils: palm, soybean and cottonseed.

The Don Donuts doughnut company is owned and operated by Marci's Food Group, a Fioryan corporation controlled by the Revstein family. MFG also owns other fast food brands both within and outside of Fiorya.

MFG is presently led by the only son of Marci's founder, Reynald, the Baron Revstein. Lord Revstein is MFG's second Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, having taken over from his father, the late Johannes Davis-Revstein, or Joey, as he was fondly called within the corporation. Lord Reynald has led the Marci brand and group since 2003 and is credited with the continued growth of the brand, including the present effort of internationalizing Marci products and service.

Lord Revstein was previously MFG's Executive Vice President, and held posts in other companies, notably serving as a Creative Director of Suess Morgan, a Hollster-based advertising company. In 2015 he was given a peerage, Baron Revstein, which entitles him to sit the House of Nobles.

Startup costs, which include construction and equipment expenses, including franchise fee is NS$50,000 for each store.

In addition to the startup costs,Don Donuts charges an ongoing monthly service fee equal to5.6% of gross sales.

All ingredients, products, items to be sold by the individual restaurant are to be bought from the MFG, and or MFG approved partners.

Finally, Don Donuts and MFG reserve the right to revoke franchises which have violated these terms, fail to uphold our brand standards, or who have deliberately stolen or pirated Don Donuts and MFG corporate and trade secrets, products. Don Donuts and MFG reserve the right to take legal action against parties responsible for damaging the brand.
