Type 35 Kai - Gunto is a navy sword used for both ceremonial purposes and chopping communists at close range combat, especially famous for it's bloody history during first Annamese war in late 1950s - where it earned fame of "red sword", as it was nicknamed due to amount of communist blood on it's blades, often being a result of fights between Kaigun Rikusentai and overzealous crowds jumping at the Nihonese marines with machetes.
Type 35 Kai - Gunto is very efficient sword, with 78 cm long blade, providing great cutting capacity. The entire blade is made out of stainless steel, with tsuka (handle) and saya (sheath) made out of traditional rayskin. This sword, manufactured by traditional methods can be with efficiency used not just for ceremonies, but also as excellent weapon of home defense.
TYPE 25 KAI - WAKIZASHI

Type 25 Tactical Wakizashi is, unlike Type 35 Kai - Gunto, pure efficiency weapon based on traditional Wakizashi from samurai times, but featuring plenty of modern technologies. With entire sword being 50cm long, with 31cm length of the blade itself, Type 25 Wakizashi works perfectly both as tool for fieldwork, and as efficient self - defense too. The blade was made with steel 5160, an efficient alloy that provides it with unspeakable durability, while the tsuka was made with highly efficient polymer (kraton).
TYPE 24 TACTICAL TANTO

Type 24 Tactical Tanto is a knife and bayonet from the empire of Greater Nihon, currently standard issue in Imperial Nihonese Army, Naval Special Landing Force and Imperial Guard. While looking more traditionally, the blade construction was made out of steel 5160. The blade itself is 31cm long, and can be perfectly fitted to Type 8 assault rifle.
