Present all orders to the Corporate Home and do not post in this thread. Failure to do such will result in negligence of the order. Thank You.

Z.M.I. Imperator-Class Aircraft Carrier
Sea Dominance ensured. Naval Air Power guaranteed.

The Imperator-Class is a class of supercarriers built for service in the Federal Eastern Union Navy to replace its aging Victor Austerlitz-Class Aircraft Carriers, as well as other navies that may require supercarriers. Dubbed the Pylius Crasseau-Class in the Federal Eastern Union Navy, the Imperator-Class is centered on giving the maximum naval air power one would need for naval superiority. With unprecedented air capabilities and state-of-the-art systems, the Imperator-Class is truly the flagship of Zeus Maritime Industries.

The Imperator-Class Aircraft Carrier is primarily driven by two NR-61 nuclear reactors, although they can be replaced with conventionally-powered CODAG engines. The NR-61 nuclear reactors, thanks to advancements in technology, is capable of producing enough energy to propel the ship in speeds over 30 knots per hour (56 km/h), while making the cruising speed of 20 knots (38 km/h) possible. The energy generated from the nuclear reactors head onto the four shafts, which ultimately bring thrust to the ship to move.

There are two ways to 'launch' an aircraft from an aircraft carrier's deck: one involves a device aboard the carrier, such as steam catapults and EMALS; the other utilizes the physical force of the aircraft itself via a ski jump. As the prior enables the aircraft's capabilities to be used to the maximum, the Imperator-Class uses an electromagnetic aircraft launching system (EMALS). Sometimes called the 'electropult', the EMALS uses an electromagnetic linear motor drive instead of the conventional steam pistons used on steam catapults. Although its technological level is higher than that of the steam catapults, the EMALS makes a more graded acceleration possible, while lowering maintenance costs in the end for simplified systems.

A problem with almost every aircraft carrier is in its defense: although it is a symbol of naval dominance and sea power, an aircraft carrier is, ironically, one of the most vulnerable ships in a fleet against external attacks. Thanks to its relatively large deck and offensive-centered philosophy, an aircraft carrier may be a floating pinata for anti-ship missiles or torpedoes. To compensate for this, the Imperator-Class is equipped with a multi-layer defense system, as well as advanced electronics and countermeasures to assist in its defense. Its first and longest line of defense is the RIM-401 Invader - its capabilities on par with the RIM-162 ESSM, the RIM-401 Invader is a shortened, surface-based equivalent of the AIM-401 Avenger. The Imperator-Class can be equipped with up to 24 of these missiles. Its second line of defense consists of the RIM-300D Sea Viper: with a maximum range of 18 kilometers, they can also be used for anti-surface targets, though to a limited degree. Its final line of defense consists of two Palma Close-in Weapon Systems (CIWS): fashioned with 30 mm autocannons and eight missiles, they, along with the four 25 mm chainguns, defend the ship last-minute with the power of lead.

With a displacement of almost 100,000 metric tons, the Imperator-Class can carry an optimum amount of 88 aircraft, which includes COD aircraft, helicopters/tiltrotors and carrier AEW&C aircraft. With over 60 fighters (even after subtracting the aforementioned units), the Imperator-Class can truly bring air power into the seas, which, in some cases, can be more capable than a small air force.
