The Liberator-Class is a line of nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarines manufactured by Zeus Defense Industries. Intended to replace several aging ballistic missile submarines in the Federal Eastern Union Navy, it is one of the most formidable and devastating submarines in the world, truly a 'liberator' beneath the waves. As it is designed to replace ballistic missile submarines as well as other attack submarines, the Liberator-Class is made to use various types of armament, including nuclear-capable submarine-launched ballistic missiles (SLBM) and supersonic cruise missiles.

The Liberator-Class features a number of advancements from previous generations of submarines. For one, the Liberator-Class employs a compact, hydrodynamically-efficient hull that increases the hull's efficiency of moving around, while making it more quiet compared to previous generations. The hull has also been coated with special material (though its components remain a closely-guarded secret) that reduces its sonar signature, adding on to its elusiveness. Furthermore, getting its ideas from water-jet propulsion used on smaller ships, the Liberator-Class employs pump-jet propulsion - an uncommon story for most nuclear-powered submarines currently in service.

As it is to replace some ballistic missile submarines, the Liberator-Class has been fitted with 16 (20 with modifications, at max.) VLS cells designed for SLBM launches. The 16 cells, capable of holding SLBMs fitted with MIRVs (nuclear), gives the Liberator-Class a great power of destruction and obliteration. Due to modularization of the 'cruise missile package', the VLS cells, originally made to hold ballistic missiles, is also capable of holding cruise missiles in its place with minimal modifications from the operator. In addition to the VLS cells, the Liberator-Class has six 533 mm torpedo tubes, which can be used to deploy torpedoes and submarine-launched missiles. It is optionally equipped with a swimmer delivery vehicle for coastal infiltration.
