Continental Freight Railways (MT ONLY OPEN)

Continental Railways, a large freight railway moving good across an entire continent for over 50 years. Now Continetal Railways wants to move your goods, and to move goods through your nation, or perhaps your continent, and make us (inter)continental railways.

HISTORY
Robert Graham, a former train driver, had a dream, a dream to create a railway company. In 1978, Graham realised his dream, and opened a freight train from Sydney to Melbourne. This became the signature route of Continental Freight Railways. By 1983, trains were operating from Sydney to Bathurst, Sydney to Newcastle, Sydney to Wollongong, Newcastle to Bathurst and Sydney to Brisbane. In 1989, Graham opened his completely interstate line from Brisbane to Cairns, and as his company expanded, he became a truly continental rail network. In 1999, Graham had expanded his company to Tasmania. In 2004, when the government had agreed to create cities in Antarctica, Graham had won a contract to allow his trains to operate there, and today, he has three Antarctic routes, with many, many more proposed.

SERVICES
Continental Railways ships bulk freight and goods freight, as well as offering refrigeration.

Please note that Continental Freight Railways does NOT construct or refurbish infrastructure but can offer suggestions on how to improve and better use it. There are no application forms. Just write a letter with what you would desire. We want to expand our services into your nation, or for you to choose us when moving goods through Australia

Continental Freight Railway offers many freight services to get what ever you need or want wherever you need or want.
Continental offers freight designated only for trains, intermodals and

Please note that not all railways can handle rolling highways or double stacked containers. This depends on loading gauges and quality of infrastructre

Rolling highway tests. Whilst no systems exist in Australia yet, there are tests being conducted, and Continental Freight Railways are conducting them. So far the tests are successful and it is expected that there will be rolling highways over the entire nation in the next ten years

Trailer Trains, are like a rolling highway, but with only the trailer at the back of the trucks. This system is also under trial

Ministry of Transport

Dear Continental Freight Railways,

We at the Ministry of Transport for 250land and Vera are interested in foreign investment into our rail network. Freight is an important feature in the economy of 250land and Vera and expanding the nations capability is of utmost concern to us.

We would be interested in any offers of yours to expand in the nation. Currently rail freight is carried on a single lane Standard gauge track from the capital Asterix through 250land, Vera and the Former Holy Geneva and is constantly busy. The track passes through both plains and sharp hill and mountain country.

Eagerly awaiting your reply

Greetings 250land and Vera. The route between Sydney and Melbourne, and our Antarctic routes, are extremely mountainous and contain extremely difficult tracks and terrain. As such, we are capable of operating on these tracks. We are more than happy to add to the railway operations between Asterix, Holy Geneva and Vera. Being an Australian company, we are usually capable of carrying more wagons than other rail companies of foreign nations, and have even broken world records with train lengths, and such would lighten the load of your busy railway network. We also work around 5 other major Australian freight rail companies, many of which are on single tracks and even operate between gauges, as some federal states have different gauges. We also even share tracks with passenger trains, and yet we never have any issues with efficiency. Whilst we do not, however, construct tracks, we do have experts who advise governments on how to make better infrastructure at a cheaper price, and have even been granted a grant of $10 Million Australian to help the federal government improve the infrastructure across the entire continent and have helped the government design routes for a previously unexplored continent Antarctica, which is how we got the licence. If we expand our freight railway into your nation, we will guarantee more efficient rail operations on these three routes, as well as assistance in the construction of new routes. Not only will we improve the efficiency of our operations, but work with local operations to improve efficiency of their operations, and thus better utilise your limited infrastructure. We thank you for this opportunity and will be more than happy to expand into your nation. We shall send our first three locomotives over in the next 4 weeks and then send other cars from there. In the meanwhile, please send us timetables of the usage of your infrastructure and maps so that our experts can start working on the new schedule and efficiency. Thank you for allowing our company into your nation

Ministry of Transport

Dear Continental Freight Railways,

Thank you for your response and the detailed information. We have decided to tender your services in the optimum usage of the extremely busy single track between Asterix and Romonopilis in Vera. We like the idea of using record breaking train lengths! And hope your expertise can be used to free up the network.

Please find enclosed the information you requested as well as a license to operate in 250land and Vera.

Continental Railways,

We notice that your company is an emerging company and could become large on a global scale. This deal, of you purchasing oil exclusively from us in exchange for a reduced price, which is already the lowest in the world, would benefit both of our companies. We may also be able to discuss other details or counter offers if you would like.

To Continental Freight Railways:

Greetings! Following the above conversation, we'd also like to offer our petrols for Continental Freight Railways!

Pegasus Petrol Company is a highly established petrol company and we are able to sell our Legion Standard Oil at a much cheaper rate! We can offer our barrels at $4.60 per barrel to CFR as Australian Republic is a longtime partner of ours and we have had many prior partnerships with our other sister subsidiaries! Also, we've contacted Legion Hypermarkets, and if Pegasus Petrol Company is your sole supplier of petroleum, Legion Hypermarkets will engage your services to deliver ALL our goods in 12 countries to over 41 thousand branches of supermarkets! Do consider and if you're interested, feel free to contact us at our Pegasus Storefront, thank you!

Sincerely yours,

Dear Pegasus Petroleum, if you agree to open at least one mine in Australia, then we will accept your deal. The reason for this is due to import taxes in our nation and if you were to mine here, it would be cheaper for all parties

We've agreed on our storefronts earlier that we are interested in opening mines in your country, but you've not replied. We'd like to know more about the mines, and also a proper submission of the application on our storefront! Should we open a mine in Australian Republic, you can enjoy a discount down to $4.50 per barrel!

Hope to hear back from you!
