Name of Applicant: Count Sharra
Nation of Applicant: The Allied States of New Edom
URL to Nation or Organization:https://www.nationstates.net/nation=new_edom/detail=factbook/id=189156
Brief Bio: The New Edomite Agricultural Reform Project has been planned to enable urban communities to produce fruit, vegetables, and freshwater crustaceans and fish by renewable means. It is being done through vertical farms (which renew buildings for hydroponics and greenhouses) and aquaponics projects.
Cost Requested: 450 million NSD
What do you hope to accomplish? To enable ordinary communities and families to produce their own food to create less dependency upon massive infrastructure in order to encourage local economic growth.
How long would it take before we can see results? It is expected that within 1 year communities will begin to see lower food cost, less use of water and improved nutrition.
To Count Sharra from the New Edomite Agricultural Reform Project of New Edom:
Greetings! The Legion Foundation has reviewed your applications, and we are happy to inform you that your requested grants have been approved! With such, the Legion Foundation will be issuing NS$450 million for this project. We hope that the funding will be put to good use, and we hope to see results in these endeavours.
We are always trying to help organizations that support arts, education and creativity, and we will continue to do so in our abilities. Hence, we've decided to issue an additional NS$5 million stipend as a reward for such a project to be conceptualized! This stipend can be used for any purpose and does not necessary have to involve the project.
P.S. On behalf of Legion Hypermarkets, we'd like to cordially invite New Edom and its new goods to be purchased by them. This can not only support your project's growth, but also bring recognition internationally even further!

Nation of Applicant: Republic of Adiron
URL to Nation or Organization: http://www.nationstates.net/nation=hittanryan
Brief Bio: Operating under the umbrella of the Isidium Foundation, a prominent Adiran humanitarian relief organization, Teachers for the Future is a nonprofit organization in which recent college graduates are hired to teach in under-resourced urban and rural public schools. Many of these communities are in troubled developing nations or refugee camps. Programs include primary and secondary education, vocational training, night schools, and counseling.
Cost Requested: $250 million
What do you hope to accomplish? Numerous recent conflicts throughout the former Cornellian Empire are quickly overwhelming the available resources of many aid organizations. Teachers for the Future is hoping to establish roughly one hundred new schools throughout northern Arcologia, southern Azurlavai, Peregrino, and Bara Province in New Edom in a new initiative.
How long would it take before we can see results? Schools will be established in existing structures purchased at fair market value where possible, constructed economically when suitable real estate is unavailable. The physical schools themselves will be established from one to six months from now.
In terms of educational benefits, vocational training programs tend to generate the fastest results; within a year formerly destitute individuals can learn marketable skills. This is vital to improving one's standard of living and eliminating poverty. Counseling, especially in warzones or disaster areas, can help individuals get over psychological trauma they may have suffered and begin to move on.
Primary and secondary education tends to be a longer-term commitment, but returning children and adolescents to a classroom environment can help establish a sense of normalcy in extreme circumstances and often corresponds to a reduction in youth-related crime. Literacy in many developing nations can be a scarce and therefore highly valuable skill, and not only improves the student's standard of living but can also be passed onto future generations.
To Teachers for the Future Project of Hittanryan:
Greetings! The Legion Foundation has reviewed your applications, and we are happy to inform you that your requested grants have been wonderfully approved! With such, the Legion Foundation will be issuing NS$250 million for this project. We hope that the funding will be put to good use, and we hope to see results in these endeavours.
We are always trying to help organizations that support arts, education and creativity, and we will continue to do so in our abilities. Hence, we've decided to issue an additional NS$7 million stipend as a reward for such a project to be conceptualized! We hope to see the world of education and arts take a more significant role in the international stage as we push for more of these endeavours. Thank you very much!

Greetings! The Legion Foundation has declined your application as your request does not fulfil our direction of the Foundation. We do not believe that any nation deserves any foreign aid if they don't work hard themselves. We offer grants to further potential, but with that we want to see sincerity. We unfortunately have found out that your nation relies heavily on foreign aid as your main income source, hence we will not be supporting your nation. We hope you understand and thank you for writing to us!
