Northern Shipyards has been in the shipbuilding and designing industry since 1643, when Jouhn Falcynwatch began a small, family-staffed shipyard. Since then, the business had expanded into the largest and most profitable shipyard to ever grace the shores of Ceneria. Northern Shipyards is the designer and builder of many of the vessels operated by the Cenerian Navy, some of which are available for sale. We also sell domestic vessels such as sailboats, pleasure craft, and transports. And to each customer we give a promise: If you vessel ever has problems, we will fix them faster, better, and easier than any other company in the business. While our business began with the construction of a few rudimentary fishing boats, we now construct, design, and sell some of the most advanced vessels to sail the oceans of the world. Even more, every vessel designed by us will be hand-delivered to your docks by a team of top-notch professionals. If our pilots damage your vessel in any way, we will pay for the repair as well as a full top-to-bottom inspection of the entire ship whenever it is needed.

Beauty: While our vessels are primarily made to do their jobs, they do so in class. We spend the utmost care on the looks of our vessels, both exterior paintwork and interior furnishings. We take pride in what we create, and make it so that you can take pride in what you buy.

Regulations Regarding Purchase

✧ We pride ourselves not only in our work, but in our customers. If you are at war with out host nation or a nation with whom Ceneria has a partnership, your order will not be considered.

✧ We reserve the right to deny any order from any nation for any reason. If an order is terminated, you will be formally notified, and any transferred money will be returned. We take pride in being fair and honest.

✧ It is illegal to put up for resale any item purchased from Northern Shipyards unless it is either a Restriction Level One or Restriction Level Zero item.

✧ Orders from nations known or suspected to be harboring terrorists or sponsoring terrorist activities will not be considered.

✧ It is appreciated if orders are expressed in a formal manner, and contain a written letter along with any order form(s).

About Northern Shipyards

Northern Shipyards founded in 1643, when Jouhn Falcynwatch began a small, family-staffed shipyard on the Shelter Bay coast of Ceneria. At first, the Falcynwatch family business was small and poorly funded, constructing only skiffs, rowboats, and the occasional fishing boat. In 1651, everything changed. Ceneria entered a war, and the nation's shipyards began to churn out warships. The Falcynwatch family joined the tide of enthusiastic entrepreneurs, and purchased more advanced shipbuilding tools. The first warship ever built by what would become Northern Shipyards was a sad-looking sloop called the Gull by her builders. The King of Ceneria purchased the vessel nonetheless, and it went on to fight in some of the most important naval battles of the conflict.

Bolstered by his first success, Jouhn Falcynwatch and his firstborn son, Staephen, began work on a more adventurous venture. To aide their shipbuilding, they hired the labor of several family members and a neighbor. The next vessel that they constructed was a small two-masted schooner, which they christened the Seahawk. The Seahawk was purchased by the navy once more, and acted as a privateer in the ongoing series of naval confrontations that the rising kingdom faced. This vessel pushed the limits of the Falcynwatch family's skill and budget, and they and the Windright family shipyard merged to become Northern Shipyards. The first vessel of the new cooperation was a Brig, later named the Storm of the North.

The Storm of the North paved the way for Northern Shipyards in the new world of shipbuilding. Over the next four years, Northern designed, built, and christened at least three more tall ships. At the end of the war, when many of the tiny start-up shipwrights went out of business, Northern Shipyards carried on. Ten years after the resolution of the conflict, Northern received a contract from the King himself to build a new flagship for the navy. This we did, and thus the Azure Star was born. The Azure Star became the flagship of the Cenerian Navy's fleet, and was by far the grandest of the projects that Northern ever undertook in a tall ship. Over the next several decades, Northern Shipyards underwent several changes of management and several long periods of near-bankruptcy. At the emergence of a new threat, when the navy began to hand out contracts for new vessels, the desperate shipyard managed to fight back to the forefront of the shipbuilding scene. After the crisis abated, Northern began to construct fishing vessels for the large fishing community in northern Ceneria, a tradition that has continued to today. Using this as a stepping stone, Northern Shipyards kept its head above water permanently, and gradually rose to the forefront of the shipbuilding scene.

Since then, the Northern Shipyards had expanded even more into the largest and most profitable shipyard to ever grace the shores of Ceneria. We now sell vessels to offshore buyers, a fate that the Falcynwatch family would never have dreamed of. While the Falcynwatch family began with skiffs and fishing boats, we continue their legacy with destroyers and submarines. Northern Shipyards is today managed mainly by the Stoleson family, for despite the rapidly evolving technology that fills our vessels now, we still cling on to the family roots that formed our great shipyard.

Northern Shipyards Today

Northern Shipyards is a large company, but we strive to pay attention to the smallest details. One of these details, though it is far from small, is our community. We are headquartered in Whiteclyff, the oldest city in Ceneria. The city's rich history, and our part in that history, has inspired us to go to work extensively in the community around us. We regularly sponsor fundraising events, and contribute significantly to the upkeep of the waterfront that gave birth to our company. Every year, roughly eight percent of our profits go the community service work in Whiteclyff and across the nation. While this may sound insignificant, it is a huge sum of money considering the size of our company. It is because of this size and prosperity that we feel compelled, and indeed honored, to give back to the community that has welcomed out presence for so long.

Another thing that Northern inordinately cares about is the world around us. Every day, we see children who do not have enough to eat, or veterans who do not have a job. We believe that all humans, no matter what race, color, or gender they may be, have a right to live a happy and successful life. This is why we strive to make the world a better place, by providing grants and vessels to humanitarian and multinational aid organizations. We live prosperously in this world, and it is our honor to help those who live in worse conditions than us.

The environment is another of the major concerns of Northern Shipyards. For many years, industry has polluted the air, contaminated the land, and overfished the seas. We try to do our part to protect mother nature. We are proud to say that, as of last year, every machine that we operate is environmentally friendly. Our buildings are the greenest in the world, and give off more oxogen than they do carbon dioxide or methane. And our vessels, our pride and joy, are created with the well-being of the ocean, land, and sky in mind. Every single ship that we make, no matter the size, is made with specially designed systems that reduce waste and totally eliminate gaseous emissions that could be harmful to humans, wildlife, or the planet. It is our pride to say that we are among the top five most eco-friendly companies in the entire nation of Ceneria.

The majority of the military vessels that Northern Shipyards build are submarines. Submarines, technically classified as "boats" and not "ships," are some of the most complicated vessels to sail the seas. We began our long existence by creating small boats, and then eventually moved upwards and began building ships. Some say that we have regressed in our journey back into the world of boatbuilding, but we certainly disagree. We today construct some of the highest-quality and most reliable sub-surface vessels on the face of the planet, and are proud to say that many nations use Northern's superb vessels to keep their waters safe.

Northern Rewards is Northern Shipyard's homegrown rewards program. Applying for the Northern Rewards program can gain the applicant discounts of up to 10 percent on all applicable purchases, as well as tours of our shipyards, exclusive offers, and free access to other exclusive features. Northern Rewards members also are given a complimentary vessel check-up every four years, during which any major service that needs to preformed will be done at no additional cost. Applying for Northern Rewards

Due to the nature of Northern Rewards, several very strict rules govern our program. If you are a Rewards member, but are engaged in a war with Ceneria, any vessel check-ups will be terminated, and any vessels in dry dock may be subject to search, seizure, or severe damage. We will not repair any vessel owned by a hostile nation during a wartime period.

If your nation is suspected of sponsoring terrorist activities, your Northern Rewards membership will be cut off indefinitely. As with purchasing vessels, we reserve the right to deny membership to any nation, for any reason.

In response to your recent communique, we would like to inform you that, yes, that is probably the strangest request that we are likely re receive. We would like to point out that the current version of the Seastar, with non-nuclear propulsion, is quite capable of operating like a cruiser or aircraft carrier, and thus we do not believe that a nuclear reactor would be needed. As for the larger helipad and armoring, these requests are certainly possible. We will begin blueprinting the upgraded "Q-boat" version, and construction will begin as soon as possible.

As a final note, what thickness of armor would you like the proposed vessel to have? We highly recommend one inch of armoring, considering the hull design and the type of armor that we will use.

We would like 2 inches of armor over the existing hull, also, what alloy do you use for your alloy, we might thickness after knowing it. Also, is it a diesel, gasoline flex fuel engine, or just Diesel or Gasoline. Does it have an auxiliary power backup?
