Early Days
The 1960's is known as the beginning of tourism industry in Rarungan. Many small hotel and motel sprung out to accommodate the needs of tourism. It was Anak Agung Ngurah Barunajaya who first initiate the establishment of a more luxury accommodation to attract a wealthier tourist rather then backpacker or low-budget tourist. Baruna Hotel was open for the first time in 1968 on Mencar Beach, Senadwipa. The hotel was able to attract more tourist to Rarungan and after 2 years of operation, Barunajaya open another branch in Tirtha Beach, Mertasari. In 1975, Barunajaya bought an old building in Ashrampuri, Bhagawanta and changed it into the third branch of Baruna Hotel.

The 1980's - 1990's
In late 1970's, Barunajaya formalize its company and establish PT. Barunajaya Hotel as the owner and operator of all of its hotel. Later on, Baruna Hotel was re-branding into Puri Baruna Hotel & Resort and continue with the opening of another 2 branches in Labuanjaya and Margopuro. PT. Barunajaya Hotel introduce its second brand in 1983. Taman Sari Inn is a limited service hotel chain brand which cater special demographic traveler that comes to Rarungan as oppose to Puri Baruna brand. In 1984, PT. Barunajaya Hotel acquired a failing hotel chain named Mutiara Hotel and re-branding it into the new brand of Barunajaya known as Mutiara Boutique Hotel. In 1988, Anak Agung Putu Satrya Baruna, first son of Anak Agung Ngurah Barunajaya, become the CEO of PT. Barunajaya Hotel after his father retiring.
Together with other 12 companies, PT. Barunajaya Hotel agreed to established a stock market in 1992. The stock market was named Rarungan Stock Market (RSM) before it changed into Mertasari Stock Exchange (MSX) in 2000. In 1997, PT. Barunajaya Hotel introduce new brand named Tridatu Hotel which opened its first establishment in Tejapura. While Puri Baruna Hotel & Resort opened another 2 branches in Eternal Bay, Karangpura and Black Sand Beach in Watupura.
In early 1999, PT. Barunajaya Hotel and PT. Baruna Cruise (headed by Anak Agung Komang Wijaya Baruna, Barunajaya third child) agree to established Baruna Leisure Group. Anak Agung Putu Satrya Baruna then promoted to become GM of Baruna Leisure Group while his sister, Anak Agung Ayu Yudantini Baruna where becoming CEO of PT. Barunajaya Hotel.

The 21st Century and Today
In early 2000, PT. Barunajaya bought 3 properties owned by Undis Hotel chain. The properties were later being renovated and re-branding and become a new installment of Tridatu Hotel. Just before Rarungan recession in late 2010 under Tridatu Hotel flagship, PT. Barunajaya Hotel added another 2 properties in Ardhanari and Watu Ireng.
A new brand was introduce in 2005, Bringin Villa which gives the guest with intimate and private rooms on exotic locations all around Rarungan. The first Bringin Villa opened in Ardhanari. Before 2010 the brand added another 2 locations in Melangit and Nusa Kaja.
During the recession, PT. Barunajaya Hotel was drowning in debt with the slowing of tourism industry that affected the company income. The management decided to cut price and introduce packages to attract guest. The recession also suspend Yudantini plan to expand abroad. In 2013, the income has steadily risen and the company was back on track. As CEO of PT. Barunajaya Hotel, Yudantini Baruna decided to continue with her plan to expand abroad.
In early 2014, Puri Baruna added another 5 properties in Schimata, Britonisea and Farrian Republic. Yudantini will focused on advertisement to attract more investors and countries so it could expand more.

Puri Baruna Hotel & Resort is luxury hotel and resort brand owned and operated by PT. Barunajaya Hotel, a subsidiary of Baruna Leisure Group. It was the first brand introduce by PT. Barunajaya Hotel which previously known as Baruna Hotel. The brand already expand into 13 locations until now.
As an luxury brand hotel, Puri Baruna Hotel & Resort offer full service accommodations, on-site full service restaurants and luxury on-site amenities such as swimming pools, health club, ballrooms, conference facilities, massage and spa, and other amenities. The brand also offer the highest level of personalized and professional service which is under the strict training from PT. Barunajaya Hotel.

Mutiara Boutique Hotel or formerly Mutiara Hotel is a hotel chain which was originally owns and operated by PT. Mutiara Hotel with Putra Wijaya as its CEO. Established in early 1970, the company drown in a big debt that forced the owner to sold its company which then was bought by PT. Barunajaya Hotel. It was undergoing a re-branding and re-introduce to cater mid to upper scale tourist. It currently operated in 10 locations throughout Rarungan with another 2 locations still under construction.
It contains an upscale facilities of varying size in intimate and unique settings with full service accommodations. Mutiara Boutique Hotel offer some facilities such as on-site restaurant, swimming pool, spa center and other amenities. The brand also offer a high level of professional service under a strict training and supervisor of PT. Barunajaya Hotel.

Introduce in 1983, Taman Sari Inn is limited service hotel brand which owned and operated by PT. Barunajaya Hotel, a subsidiary of Baruna Leisure Group. Currently it has around 30 locations all offer Rarungan.
It contain a limited on-site amenities and a basic accommodations. These facilities only cater and market to a specific demographic of traveler such as budget-minded tourist.

Introduce in 1997, Tridatu Hotel is a full service hotel brand which owned and operated by PT. Barunajaya Hotel, a subsidiary of Baruna Leisure Group. Till date, the brand has operated in 7 different locations all over Rarungan.
It contain an upscale full service facilities with a large volume of full service accommodations, on-site full service restaurant(s), and a variety of on-site amenities such as swimming pools, a health club, children's activities, ballrooms, on-site conference facilities, and other amenities. The brand also offer a high level of professional service under a strict training and supervisor of PT. Barunajaya Hotel.

The newest brand from PT. Barunajaya Hotel, Bringin Villa was introduce in 2005. It is a luxury brand which offer intimate and private setting for its guests. Currently it operated in 5 locations throughout Rarungan with 2 others under contruction and will be finished in late 2014.
It contain upscale full service facilities with full service accommodations and variety of on-site amenities such as, on-site restaurant, swimming pool, spa center, ballrooms and others.

History

As part to increase customer satisfaction to our company, Barunajaya Hotel parent company, Baruna Leisure Group, created a loyalty program which is known as BLG Rewards Club. The program was started in 2000 with partnership between PT. Barunajaya Hotel and PT Mutiara Hotel, both of which are BLG subsidiary. Rarungan Nusantara Airways then come into partnership in 2002 continued by DIK in 2009.

Membership Application

Every individual and/or guest of Barunajaya Hotel could become member of BLG Rewards Club. The membership application is very simple just by complete the application form here, which could be fill in time the guest staying at our hotel chain.

Membership Tier and Benefit

There are 4 tiers of BLG Rewards Club Card that each member could achieve, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Every guest with minimum of 1 night stayed in our hotel chain is already eligible to apply as Bronze Member. The member could upgrade their membership tier in time based on the qualification bellow;
