Sonchang International Airport(IATA: SCA, ICAO: JICA) is the airport of both Xi'san, the capital of the People's Republic of Jichang and Gan'dong, an smaller Jichangese city.
It is an international airport and is mainly used for domestic and international flights and has three terminals.
It is operated by Xiport Inc. and is used by over 64 million passengers per year.
Sonchang International Airport is served by 34 airlines and also is the main hub of Air Jichang, Jichang's national airline.
It also serves as an hub for Texan Airways, Air Gerelia and Ivory Airlines as well as an focus city for Avija Valkyr.
It also is one of the largest airports if not the largest airport in The Communist Region.
Sonchang International Airport is the primary and most used airport of the People's Republic of Jichang.
It was opened in 1994 as an municipal airport and has undergone an massive extension in 2013, allowing long-haul flights to operate from it.
In 2014, Sonchang Airport was officialy renamed into Sonchang International Airport.
Also in 2014, the expanded Terminals 1 and 2 were opened.
Concourse B at Terminal 2 is used as Air Jichang's own concourse.

The airport is located 6 kilometres away from the city of Xi'san(4 km distance from Gan'dong) and only 10 minutes from the city centre of Xi'san.
