Temperature Regulation:

The Aegis Evolution Juno regulates the body temperature based on the Peltier effect, which electrically transfers heat from one side of an object to another. Thermally conductive material in contact with the user's skin is cooled using a lithium-imide powered thermoelectric cooler, which cools the skin at an amount regulated via internal thermostat. The armored plates in the armor act as an insulation layer, allowing a thin heatsink to pass through the armor in several locations and reach another thermally conductive layer on the opposite side of the plate, which dissipates the heat to the outside air. While this does result in a larger heat signature than usual, in high-heat situations this can keep the user's body well climate-controlled, with temperatures at the skin able to be kept anywhere between 58 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit in temperatures reaching up to 150 degrees. With an opposing current, however, the Juno's true versatility shines through, and the same temperatures can be maintained in extreme cold (-60 Celsius) temperatures by heating the material closer to the user's skin. This allows for unmatched troop comfort during day-to-day operations and patrol in all environments.

The same heating and cooling plates can be used to relieve joint and muscle pain in covered areas, including the back, shoulder, leg, and elbow, via cold or hot compress, triggered via simple voice command in the helmet, or, using the gloves, touching of the affected area using an appropriate gesture. This, when combined with the temperature regulation, is intended to keep personnel able to work at peak effectiveness for as long as possible, and to avoid costly musculature tears and strains from multiple repetitive tasks.
