Tripoli International Airport, (CLOSED)

Postby Kwadai » Thu Dec 05, 2013 8:35 am

Welcome to Tripoli International Airport

Here in Tripoli we have just opened our brand new Airport, situated just 10km outside the city between Abu Sittah and Tajoura. This new location will be much easier than our old airport 30km from City Centre. Currently only Inter Arab Airways operate from here but o doubt. More and more airlines will soon be flying in. The Airport is an ideal location as it is central to everywhere, stop overs are expected to be a major source of flights coming from North and South America aswell as from Australia and Eastern Asia.
It consists of three terminals two of which have ceilings which are made of coloured glass.

New Tripoli International Airport

Terminal One:
Terminal One is used for all international flights except those by Inter Arab Airways. Terminal One consists of 50 gates A-D, A very extensive Duty free shopping range (See all 144 shops below)
Check in, Boarding Lounges, prayer rooms( For Muslims, Christians, Jews and Buddhists and Hindus) Airline lounges, toilets, 16 restaurants. We also have a transit section.

Terminal Two:
Terminal Two is located underground between terminals one and three the gates(Located over ground) however are reached through very fast bullet trains running below ground before surfacing 100 metres before the gates. Trains arrive every two minutes as it takes two minutes travelling. Terminal Two is used for short flights operating nationally and in North Africa and the Near East(Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine)
Mediterranean flights also operate in terminal two.

Terminal Three:
Terminal three is dedicated to all Inter Arab Airways flights only. It is the largest of the three terminals and has the largest duty free shopping section of any of the three terminals. It has a mosque and prayer rooms for other religions. Restaurants are scattered everywhere through out the terminal. Terminal Three has train links to all other gates and terminals as well as links to the city and to the malls.

Shopping and Eating in Tripoli International
____________________________________________
Shopping

Tripoli Airport has a huge range of shopping selling everything from souvenirs, clothes, food, to handbags and electronic devices. There is something for everyone. Terminal Three has all the shops that the other terminals have and more. Alcohol is sold here, but only when travelling to countries where it is permitted. You can only buy alcohol with a license if you live in KwaDai and are travelling to another country.
Pork is not sold and if you are caught with it expect a large fine. The same rules apply to other materials that are offensive to Islam and our culture.
Warning: You are putting yourself in danger by consuming alcohol in the airport outside of restaurants. If caught you will be sent to prison for 6 months.
