The E-15A Airborne Early Warning and Control Aircraft, is a alternative to the E-55A AEW/C aircraft based upon the Airbus A380. The E-15A is based upon the Boeing 787 Wide Body Airliner, a cheaper aircraft than the Airbus A380, and, as a result, dropped the overall price of the aircraft to about a hundred million dollars less than a E-55A, which makes it more affordable to smaller nations.

The Aircraft, based upon the Boeing 787, is aesthetically similar to its base design, with the exception of the Radar Housing on the back of the aircraft. The Aircraft utilizes a Pennsylvanian Electronics Incorporated MESA Radar that is very similar to the one found on the E-55A, but on a slightly smaller scale, so that the electronics can be properly operated using the aircrafts available power supply. The Radar has a 750 kilometer range for high altitude targets, medium sized targets such as the F-15, and 520km for low altitude targets while operating at its operational Altitude. The Radar has a built in system designed to filter out ground clutter, such as cars, and other metallic objects, allowing it to detect low flying aircraft without all of the clutter from none important ground contacts. This allows for the aircrafts crew to focus on low flying aircraft, and follow them to the best of their ability.

Inside the Aircraft, the aft part of the fuselage is taken up by the needed reinforcements to keep the Radar Set from damaging the aircraft during takeoff and landing and during flight. In front of this is a small Crew Rest Area, with a Microwave and small Refrigerator and Freezer, a Coffee maker and other drink dispensers, a few seats where some crew can grab some sleep, and a TV, all of which are supposed to allow a off duty crew to relax. There is also the option of doubling the crew to allow for effective operations past 18 hours if needed.

In front of the crew rest area is the Radar Room, containing all of the needed equipment to detect and coordinate an assault against detected enemy air or sea Assets or, coordinating a defense against a incoming enemy Air or Sea attack.

The E-15A is designed to be a cheaper alternative to the other PAI AEW/C, the E-55A, as well as having a shorter takeoff roll, allowing it to take off from shorter runways than the E-55A, while providing a similar Capability over a shorter range at a smaller operating cost. Having been based off of the Boeing 787, and sharing a almost 100% parts familiarity on the airframe itself, while the PEIMESA Radar uses mostly off the shelf technology, lowering maintenance costs parts wise to just about as low as it can get.
