Having a long history in arms making, dating well back two thousand years, Frisonians have been known to make innovative use of new technologies and adapting to the ever changing challenges that came before them. A country that has been besieged always required a well maintained and well run military complex and the first forges and blacksmiths were well known to create the finest swords and lances. What was perhaps the most challenging part was the creation of a real industry that could work together for a common goal. A step that was encouraged by King Eduard the Second in 1950. Several companies were contacted by the government and after several meetings the Frisonian Royal Arms joint venture was born.
Originally using a designs made by each company a more common design and technological database was needed since the various production lines interfered with demand and cost efficiency.
Even now several of the greater companies, internationals by themselves already, still have their own production lines. In many cases using some of their civilian designs in making military variants.

's military technologies and manufacture division.The Frisonian Royal Arms company is a joint venture by several of the most influential technology and military arms production companies based in the Kingdom of Frisonia.
One of the three major partners in the joint venture is [b]Grunder Heavy Industries
Grunder Heavy Industries was originally named "Grunder and Sons Machine Works" and started as a engine parts manufacturer for the automotive industry in 1928. Expanding over the years the company increased until the depression of 1946. Only the brilliance of Jack Grunder, the eldest son, the company was able to stay afloat by taking away all unnecessary companies and focusing instead on constructing heavy industrial machinery, ships and vehicles.
As such Grunder Heavy Industries expertise in vehicles and shipbuilding is a major asset when it comes to the actual construction of military vehicles for the Frisonian Self Defense Forces and for its export orders. Having several large facilities located all over the country. with the possibility to construct foreign branches in the near future. As such production lines can be easily started and shut down or even changed to the changing products and items created for both military and civilian markets.
Grunder's training and testing grounds in the north of Frisonia also provide the main proving grounds for the Joint Venture new designs and also provides life demonstrations to any potential costumers.
Grunder Heavy Industries also provides most of the transport capabilities to the FRA its container-ships and cargo aircraft can be seen visiting major airports on a regular base.
The second main partner is Shart Technologies which provides the technological backbone to the venture when it comes to advanced avionics, electronics, radar technology and guidance systems. It laboratories providing a steady stream of improvements and new technologies for both the civilian market as well for its military users. Shart Technology is also known for it small, yet growing, space and advanced zero gravity technology. having recently launched a communications satellite with a self designed rocket.
Shart Technologies main base of operations is located on the Iconian Islands in the Southern Sea.
The last major partner is the Frisonian Ministry of Defense, and its subsequent armed forces under its wing; the Ground Self Defense Force, Air and Space Defense Force and the Naval Defense Forces. The Frisonian MoD being both a major supplier of orders as well as providing expertise and instructors to foreign investors and buyers of vehicles and technology created by the Frisonian Royal Arms.
Other companies in this venture are: FHT Avionics, Rollout Motors Inc., Hunday Shipbuilding, Jinhau Industries, Koiwoi Air and Kindre Cars.
