Who We Are
Since 2013, Black Shark International has been providing some of the best logistical and combat support out there. We serve with pride to the customer, as the customer and mission comes first. After the break up of the Tesserian company known as "Prestige Services", many of the Mizradian and Tesserian members came to Mizrad in search of new work. With Tesseria going into turmoil and eventually collapsing, there was no going back for any of these former contractors. So what did they do next? What they did best; operate as a private military company. Having already gained knowledge on how to such a venture through their past experiences, they created Black Badger Industries and it had begun it's way on the road to success.
Meanwhile, Shark International, a massive shipping company was well on it's way to the top. Acting as the go to maritime transport group for Mizrad and many other countries in the surrounding area they were raking in profits like leaves in the Fall. Then in late 2013 things took a very sharp turn for the worse. The country of Firmador collapsed leaving pirates to roam their waters and even branching out into international waters. Completely unprotected from such a threat SI was utterly shattered by pirate raids on their ships. But with the creation of Black Badger Industries they finally had somebody to cry to. Pairing up the security company dealt death to the thieves while Shark International dealt goods to the world. Then even later in 2013 they finally merged and thus Black Shark International was born.
Even though our size and history isn't very extensive, our experience is. How do we achieve this level of expertise despite being new comers in the business? It's simple, Black Shark International's security element consists of almost entirely former military, law enforcement or private military operators and the maritime shipping element is run by experienced sailors and captains working along side experienced and well educated business men. With all of these men and women making up BSI, the end result is a dedicated work force giving a product or service you undeniably rely upon.
What We Do
We here at Black Badger International operate a little differently than other private military and logistics companies. We combine the best of both worlds; both logistics and security put into one. Why be like this? Because, these two things are the backbone of any military or company. Nobody can operate without the three B's: Beans, Bullets and Band-aids. You've got to feed your people, provide security or train your people to be that security and finally you've got to care for those people. That's what makes up logistics, and due to it's importance we put a heavy amount of effort into making this section of our group work flawlessly. Now even though this is such a vital area, the strain may cause some countries or groups to fail to do this well. This is why we're here and ready to take over this part of your work for you! Making things easier so you can get on your way without a worry. If it's just commerical shipping you're looking for, BSI has absolutely no issue doing that either. Learning from the past in Shark International we now ship with a small security element across the globe. Equipped with our own fleet of cargo ships, oil tankers and so on we can get anything, anywhere, any time for a simple fee.
Although we can't forget about security, something that is becoming more and more important in the world we currently inhabit these days and for good reason too. People on this planet can be cruel, their acts against you can go from spray painting your car to planting a bomb in it. The Leaders Of Black Shark International
What is a group without leaders? Unorganized, undisciplined and bad at what they do? All of the above, which is exactly why Black Shark International takes pride in very prestigious and well respected staff and even better heads of corporation. BSI Operates with a CEO [Director of the company], a VP [Responsible for keeping everything in line and on track from the top down], a Chief of Operations [Tasked with taking missions, what equipment the company operates, planning out missions and guiding the way they are done] and a Chief Financial Officer [Assigned to working with the money and economic aspect of the company].
Chief Executive Officer John Harlowe: Despite fifty being considered middle aged to a bit old, it's a young age for somebody to have a resume equal to that of John Harlowe's. Born in New Boston, Mizrad to a business man father and small shop owner mother John always saw the numbers in things. Doing great in school and even going so far as to be accepted in Mizrad's prestigious New Boston University, Harlowe's life was great and only getting better. After finishing college with a degree in economics and political science, John set off to start a career. Unfortunately, this search lasted no longer than a month as Mizrad entered a war with the nation of Maverica. Being drafted into the Army as an officer due to his college degree and his family's military history, the life of a soldier was to be brought upon John. After rising through the ranks up to a major until the war ended multiple years later, Harlowe had grown used to being in a disciplined, military life. Taking his business and military experience with him, he set off to make a name for himself in the company he had worked with during his time as a soldier: Tesseria's Prestige Services. Here too, would he become great although this was cut short too in 2008 when the company went downhill and he went back to Mizrad for work. Deciding to gamble his life savings and plenty of loans, he created Black Badger Industries and with effort; ended up making it into Black Shark International and the successful company it is today.
Vice President William Coughlin: Born in 1980 in the northern mountainous regions of Mizrad, William Coughlin was a man who loved the outdoors and was well adapted to survive in them. The beauty of Mizrad was something he would lay down his life for, so after graduating from high school he did. Serving in Mizrad's hardest main branch, the Marine Corps; Will excelled at what he did. Going so far as to to be asked to join with the Mizradian Special Detachment Group -The single most classified and greatest special operations force in Mizrad, Coughlin obviously had trouble transferring back to a civilian life. Although fortunately in his time with the Marines, he had met John Harlowe during the Maverican War. Even after the two's units had split up and gone to different areas they had kept in touch. When John got out of the Army and started Black Badger Industries, he had invited Will to help him run the business after he went to college. The pair were an amazing sight in the economic world and with John's business experience and Coughlin's extensive military background, they got the group off the ground with little outside help.
Chief of Operations Peter Minute: Aged thirty two, Peter Minute was formerly both the Chief Financial Officer and Director of Operations at Prestige Services. Born in 1981 in central Tesseria, he studied at Brown Institute of the same country and later went on to find a job here at Black Shark International.
Chief Financial Officer Brian Lockton: Coming in at sixty four years old, Brian is one of the older board members of BSI. Not much is know about his past other than he went to New Boston University and majors in economics. Along with that feat is his extensive career with sailing. Having worked with Shark International and other maritime companies for most of his life Brian has this sort of business down to a science and loves doing it. When he's not working, Lockton spends his time either with his family or sailing.
