During the inter-war period of the Oaledonian Heiwa era, the OAF launched a campaign to improve the basis of the RVT-34 Swan. With data on the Wombat's performance data available as a guide, engineers determined that a long range support platform for beach landings and was needed to further the effectiveness of troops in a battle. Although the model was more costly to develop and produce, the immense benefits that the system brought greatly offset this factor. Due to it's ease of operation, it is known by it's operators as "the easy A".
Design
With funding no longer as prevalent of an issue, the Oaledonians focused more on improving the glacis armor on already existing mantles. It's 125mm L8G9 rifled static induced magnetic gun is able to penetrate up to 1,850mm of armor at 7,700 kilometers with a muzzle velocity of 2,530 FPS, which prompted engineers to at first suggest that the design be designated as a Tank Destroyer. More soft kill systems were installed, ensuring that penetration that would be achieved would not render the armor inert. The UGL 45mm grenade launcher could fulfill the infantry support roles marvelously, which could operate with fast moving anti-armor support. Working on improving the Swan's rugged armor mesh, the Wombat was included with 870mm hull & turret protection vs AP shells, 820mm vs HEAT shells, and 650mm protection vs ATGM rounds, making it outclass even certain tanks in terms of protection. All in all, the Wombat can simply due everything that the Swan cannot.

Tech commentary
Although testing was delayed due to diversion of resources to the Themioi war effort, the Wombat was not canceled due to it's amazing potential. As pressure grew to diversify the Oaledonian arsenal, the Wombat command variant quickly arrived for testing with an upgraded electronics suite and duel fed 45mm Hecuyi chain gun. Many drivers commented on the improvement
of the suspension system and smooth fire weapon control. With upgraded weapons suite with forward facing position allowed for excellent gun depression during trials, meaning that tank crews could place themselves into amazing hull-down positions.
