About
Welcome to WIoN Airways, Naybra's newest, largest, and most eco-friendly airline carrier. In modern times, flying can be a hassle. Booking tickets, baggage problems, hidden fees, delays, uncomfortable seating... the list goes on and on. Here at WIoN Airways, we strive to change all that. With state-of-the-art boarding passes, flexible baggage containers, luxurious and eco-friendly seating, outstanding policies, and personal that always greets you with a smile, WIoN Airways takes all the annoyances out of travel. We want you to Keep on Flying.
History
WIoN Airways is a division of WIoN Inc.. Founded in late 2012 by Brian Johnson, WIoN Inc.'s Founder, its goal was to solve the problem of reinventing and remolding Naybra’s old transportation system. Before its establishment, Naybra never really had an airline industry, relying heavily on naval transportation, such as ferries, as well as transportation by car, train, and bus. Public roads and transportation was severely outdated and needed help.
WIoN Airways started out as a domestic airline, flying its passengers around Naybra. It was a huge success among the citizens of Naybra, boosting Naybra’s sinking tourism industry. In 2013, under the administration of current WIoN Airways Division Head Thomas Daniel, the airline expanded internationally. Facing stiff competition, WIoN Airways filed applications in May, causing a short-term, but major boom to the international tourism economy in GE&T. Hoping to do that again, WIoN Airways continues to serve, never forgetting about the needs of the passenger.
Policies
Ticketing-snip-
At WIoN Airways, ticketing is easy. You can purchase your tickets months, or just days before the flight. Since the beginning, WIoN Airways has never issued paper tickets in an effort to save paper and help the environment. That is why WIoN Airways allows tickets to be purchased via our online website or our mobile app (pictured to the right). These tickets will be used to secure the number of boarding passes required for your party. After purchase of your tickets, you can choose to print a verify slip. Your slip includes information like your Name, Airline, Ticket Number, the Airplane Designation Number, your Departure Terminal, and your Arrival Destination. Tickets are 100% refundable as long as it is at least 10 days before the flight. Should there be a cancellation in a flight, WIoN Airways will fully refund your ticket and you will be placed on the next available flight.
Baggage-snip-Baggage is quick and easy here on WIoN Airways. Each passenger is allowed one carry-on suitcase and up to five stow-away suitcases. The first two store-aways are FREE! The third and fourth are each $39.99, and the fifth is $49.99. Passengers are also allowed to bring on one carry-on luggage onboard the plane, such as a small bag, brief case, pouch, etc. Some exceptions will be allowed to these policies, under certain circumstances. Talk to the Check-In and Gate agents if you have any questions concerning your baggage.
Departure and Arrival-snip-
WIoN Airways, recommends that you arrive at your Departure destination at least 2 hours before the flight. This gives you time to check-in your baggage, receive your boarding pass, go through airport security, and have time to locate your gate before the flight departs. You'd also be able to relax in our airline lounges. Our planes will not wait for late passengers and will leave promptly at their departure time, unless their is a delay. Passengers that miss their flight will not be refunded, but may choose to wait for the next possible flight to their scheduled destination. When boarding and debarking the plane, please make sure you have all your luggage and any other personal belongings that you might have left on the plane. If you have any questions, feel free to ask our trained Check-In personal and Gate Attendants.
Safety
Safety is our upmost concern here at WIoN Airways. All passengers must comply to any airport security procedures concerning the search for weapons, bombs, and any illegal substances or items on the passenger and their luggage. Passengers must also abide by the laws of their departure and arrival destination. We ask that all passengers reframe from smoking on this airline since it is a smoke-free environment. We also ask that no passenger is intoxicated, for they will not be allowed to board the plane. Passengers must act in a safe manner while onboard our airline. Passengers that cause repeated and major distractions will be removed from the plane. Should a passenger make a threat or threaten any other passenger or member of the flight crew, verbally or physically, they will be removed from the plane. Should it be found that a passenger has illegal substances or materials, they will not be allowed to board, or in the case that they're already onboard, will be removed from the plane to deal with the local authority. No exceptions are allowed. No animals, except service animals, are allowed onboard the plane.
If you are a passenger traveling with disabilities, please notify a Gate Agent before boarding the plane. They will help you be seated during boarding and make sure Flight Attendants know of your needs. If you require a service pet, like a Seeing-Eye Dog, you will be allowed to bring it aboard as long as you have proper documentation of this animal.-snip-
Environment-snip-
